The hotel was in a great location. The staff was friendly and helpful. The bed was amazing, best sleep my husband and I have ever had!

Check-in was easy, and the staff was knowledgeable in what they were doing. The room was very humid and sticky which you can expect by the beach if the window is wide open. The beds were extremely loud. Just turning sitting down getting up to use the restroom or anything made a loud sound that woke up our seven-year-old son in the bed next to us. There is like a metal under bed cover or frame perhaps? That is extremely squeaky and loud. It honestly sounded like somebody closing a dumpster lid. Guests were coming and going at extremely late hours and had no regard for the people who were sleeping. Even with the window closed it was extremely loud. Parking was difficult for larger vehicles. For reference, I drive a slightly lifted Toyota Tacoma and had a hard time pulling in and parking due to a narrow driveway with parking on both sides. We did encounter a very friendly gentleman as we were checking out who expressed that he would give us a room with a balcony the next time we stayed. It is a budget hotel, so you get what you pay for. If all you are doing is going to the beach all day and then going there to shower and sleep. It is a perfect hotel. For what you pay for a hotel next to the beach, though you should get a little bit more. The other issue we ran into is that the door that secured your room has a very small deadbolt and there was a clear line to the outside of where the door did not seal properly. Not only did this contribute to the church, but make us feel safe.

Cleanliness was an issue. Floor was dirty, enough having a old hair on the floor and bed. Also needed dusting as I wiped out a thick layer of dust around the bathroom door frame.

Only about a 10 minute walk to Redondo Beach with the Redondo Beach Pier a few minute walk to the north.

The location is excellent, and the room was very cute. Everything was comfortable and well There’s no coffee maker in the room, but we were able to go down to the lobby and get coffee there in the morning.

Proximity to Redondo Beach (its not Torrance Beach) Fan in the bathroom not working. The room was facing right on Highway 1, too noisy, lots of traffic noise.

One of the best places I've ever stayed... cleanliness, friendliness, and courtesy. Plus, it's in a quiet, decent area and very close to the beach, which you can walk to. We came from Arizona to enjoy ourselves, and thanks to this hotel, we truly did. We recommend it 100%.

The owner was wonderful!! Such a kind gentleman, he allowed my little family to check in about 40min earlier than the check in time. So sweet of him. House keeping lady was very sweet and kind! After for staying for 2 days, we checked out super early like around 3am and he was there to assist us as well! Thank you for the wonderful experience! Will definitely book again in the future!!

shower curtin was durty, apliances were durty, blow dryer was dirty.

Quiet, near pharmacy, convenience stores, gas station, and very close to good restaurants, and the best beach in L.A.

It was close to Redondo The room was very dirty when we arrived. There was a sparkly stuff all over. There were a couple decorations still hung up. I went and bought Lysol and sprayed down the bathroom. The seat in the shower is hanging off the wall. The little refrigerator had so much ice in the freezer. I couldn’t use it. The TV was very old and the remote did not work properly even after we asked for a different one. The sign is not lite up, so it’s hard to see at night.

The manager was kind and inviting. We arrived a little late and he invited us in to check in and told us where the room was. There weren’t any issues. In the morning I went down for coffee and again he was very hospitable. I will definitely stay here again.

STAFF PROFESSIONAL, FRIENDLY, CLEAN, COMFORTABLE & 5 MIN WALK TO THE BEACH

It was a great experience, I love the area and the walkable distance to the beach. Excelente free wifi and closeness to public transportation.

We booked for 2 nights… worse 2 nights ever! The room smelled so bad like bleach and mold. There was a water bubble building up on the ceiling. The sheets were covered in dust and HAIR! This place was so dirty! I slept with my shirt covering my nose the whole 2 nights from how bad the room smelled. Dirty, dirty place!!

Comfort, quite and peaceful. Staffs are friendly and share their smiles everydays.

The place wasn’t fancy, but the room was at least updated as much as it could be. Mini fridge and microwave were nice amenities, no parking fee, easy to access location. Biggest problem was the attention to detail with cleaning. There were numerous dirty surfaces: dust, pacifier and trash under the bed, dark smudges and yellow spray on the bathroom door.

Absolutely wonderful location and staff. Kevin was amazing and treated us like family. The room was very comfortable and the bathroom was upgraded and super clean. My family enjoyed every moment. Thanks again Kevin for your hospitality we will be seeing you soon.

Neighborhood was lovely. Property seemed clean up until I left for a couple hours and came back and saw roaches all over my beverage. The shower looked like it had mold growing.

It’s decent for the price it’s nice they have microwave and the fridge. However it’s doesn’t have any hangers for the clothes and no iron or coffee in the room. The bed is very comfy

Located on the Pacific Coast Highway, the Moonlite Inn is a 7 minute walk to Redondo Beach which is family friendly and gorgeous. The motel itself is continuing to upgrade. The owner, Kevin, is extremely friendly and helpful. This is the 3rd time we have stayed here. Each time has been an improvement.

Room service was offered at/ around noon to 1pm. Both days room service did not show up until 3pm. This threw off planning activities and stops back to the room.

Just like in the pictures online. Needed to be vacuumed. Otherwise all good. I would stay there again.

We liked how our room was so clean and comfortable to sleep in, but outside the area was a little bit small and I wish the parking lot was more spacious so that we can park well but all in all it was nice!

We had a pleasant stay, we stayed in room 209 & it was clean, sliding door let in much sunlight & a nice cool breeze. Property was clean & presentable. The property manager was super friendly, happy guy who made us feel very comfortable! Would definitely book again.

A woman wasn't looking where she was walking and bumped her head into my Paddleboard and her husband started yelling and as I looked out of the window saw him punching my board. When myself and GF came down he got into my face and started to tell my GF she smelled and to go back to her country. She’s from Australia and is very proper. We also have 20 somethings in the carport below our room smoking weed and bumping the bass in their car at 1am.

This property badly needs some paint touch up inside on the many, many nicks, gouges and holes. The shower grout was disgusting. There was no tissue provided. They also tacked on a pet fee for our emotional support dog even though the website didn't mention it. The owner's family lives on the property, cooks strong smelling food and their children played in the parking lot until very late keeping us up. I would not recommend it to anyone.

Bare basics, but i only needed a place to sleep. Bed was comfortable. Bldg is old but the room was somewhat updated.

The owner was very helpful and moved us to a quieter room after the first night.

Over all a decent stay, it did smell like their was either mold or wet dirt not sure but it did go away or i guess just got use to it, bed was comfortable, fairly quiet and did get a good rest so definitely worth a shot for a fair price night near beach and attractions.

We needed a room just for the night and also near the beach for the next day to take a walk, I was told the rooms had no numbers due to them working on them you can tell there painting and there remodeling the property, in side the room I could tell the bathroom was renovated but NOT cleaned found hair in the bathroom and on the walls, just not 100 clean, the price was reasonable beds were comfortable but I don’t like it when it’s not clean

Inexpensive, can walk to food.

Booked a room for the weekend. Small weekend getaway for me and boyfriend. Great room, view to beach, bed was very spacious, bathroom was neat and on trend with design, mirror was latest trend with a touch-on screen. Overall, we loved it! Will plan another stay-in later this year. Price was very affordable. Recommend for anyone.

Underground parking is very secure. Only people in parking are only tenants and workers.

The inside of the room was decent and quiet. Plus it had a mini fridge and microwave which are pluses.

The stay was overall really good. Unfortunately we couldnt find a room for 4 people in the area so I booked the king bedroom for me and my 3 daughters. They are young so i figured we would be fine on the king bed. The manager saw us and confronted me about the amount of people in the room. I was told i had to pay $20 extra that night for the extra person. I guess its understandable. The only thing i did not like, was the noises at night. There seemed to be a loud drip landing over our room. That was super annoying at night. Also, the room has a balcony which is great. We loved having the fresh air. Unfortunately, the door was missing the latch and i was not able to lock it. I told the manager about it and after charging me $20 he said' "oh dont worry about it' this is Redondo Beach". Regardless of the city, that didnt sit well with me. Other than that, the stay was pretty good. Love the area.

No elevator the room was decent but you can’t sleep the wall it’s like cardboard you heard the noises from other room. Not recommended 👎

I was not able to sleep the entire night because there was big humming sound like a fan or machine underneath the floor which is by the headroom of the bed and my room is literally next to the busy street (Pacific coast hwy) but cheap place.

Clean rooms and comfortable bed after a day at the beach. Convenient location to the beach, restaurants, and stores. Motel is older, but family run business and has the essentials if you’re just looking for a quiet and clean place to sleep and budget friendly.

Doesnt look like much from the outside, but the rooms are tastefully updated and clean. Larger sized rooms with microwave and fridge. Walking distance to a number of high rated restaurants and the Redondo Beach Pier. The staff is friendly and accomodating. It is true that there is traffic noise, but the white noise coming from the a/c covers that up. Overall, it exceeded my expectations considering the price and location.

The a/c wasnt cooling very well. No wifi. I expected more for $160/a night. It was my second time staying here, will probably try another place next time.

Bed was comfortable. Towels are nice and thick. One evening the water in shower took a long time to heat up but otherwise it was great

It was an easy walk to the beach. Good restaurants in walking distance. Felt safe walking around at night. The only downside for us was the traffic noise because it is on the Pacific Coast Hwy. Put in earplugs at night and was able to sleep.

This was our second time @ this Hotel and I really got to say it was comfortable, clean and close to beach will be back.

Was surprised 😮 we always stay @ other hotels in Redondo but wanted to try something else, have to the rooms were clean and nice, they just need to clean up outside exterior and it would make it even better.

1/ toilet flush lever off of connection. Fixed by Manager 2/ no hangars in closet for clothes 3/ door to toilet/shower would not close-too tight a fit by 1/2 inch 4/ bottom sheet wrinkled and not tucked, sure looked like it was used. Top sheet clean and smooth 5/ heavy traffic noise 6/ no clock or radio If I knew how to get a refund or half back I would. Terrible experience after a long drive but only room in town on a Saturday night

Very clean, modernized on the inside. Comfortable beds and pillows. Only drawback was no copy maker on site.

This place was exceptiinal all around. For "the price", you cant get better service with the same ameneties anywhere else. The manager was very helpful and so nice when asked for a late checkout.
