Homewood Suites by Hilton Los Angeles Redondo Beach

The room was not very clean. There was mildew on the base of the shower and the bath faucet was not clean. The outlets were dirty and the smoke detector for some reason had a shower cap over it. The staff was kind. The breakfast was good and the kitchen was clean.

The room was not as clean as I would have liked. It was more of a wipedown instead of cleaned. There was a weird mildew-like smell in the bathroom. A fan/vent in there would be beneficial. The dishwasher is rusted and filled with calcium build-up. Under the sink was dirty as well. It served it's purpose for our needs, but some improvements would be great.

The room was very clean had enough space for our family. It felt more like an apartment than hotel, also being able to make our own meals was a plus. Thank you so much for making traveling with kids easy.

Good for price, breakfast is good but never changes and the rooms aren’t very sound proof. I could hear the room next to me pretty clearly since it has doors in the middle if you have a big family and have two rooms next to one another.

This was my third time staying at Hilton Homewood suites Redondo. Once again everything was great, staff were helpful and polite, room was clean and orderly, availability of amenities and facilities was as I'd wished and of course , wonderful tasting carnitas at breakfast. I knew in advance that parking was available for a fee per day and this was fine. There wasn't anything that I didn't like. Next time I visit LA, I will surely try to book with them again.

Honestly the workers who worked where they serve breakfast &’ the breakfast other then that absolutely nothing The staff were very racist &’ very rude. I say racist because they treated us very differently then they did a white family that was staying the same as us. Honestly we travel a lot a lot &’ I will never go back to a home woods hotel ever in my life again &’ I will let people know it’s not a good hotel. Had no parking available even after paying money for parking. Cleaning lady she is old with glasses she cleans on the 4th floor close to room 413 very very rude. Went to bother my sister underage mind you &’ screamed at her very aggressive &’ loud. I’m more disappointed with booking.com more than the hotel, how you guys are promoting very bad &’ nasty hotels. I didn’t even receive the crib I had requested weeks almost a month prior to our stay I never received it till 3 days into our stay AND when we received it it smelled so bad like poop that we had to called them to come up &’ remove it from the room even the guy that went to pick it up wanted to throw up because of how bad it smelled &’ he just went &’ dumped the playpen outside in the middle of the hallway stinking up the whole hallway like shit. I payed since from 7th-12th I payed lots of money for that hotel to just be disappointed &’ pissed off the whole time.

The breakfast was great, the room was so comfortable. We all loved it. The extra linen and blanket was dirty for the sofa bed. The staff was very helpful in giving us clean linen and blanckets.

Excellent room, folks were friendly and very helpful. The breakfast was spot on-real food.

Our stay was overall good. Our room did have some trash in between the chair cushions. We also had no shampoo. The dispenser was empty. Housekeeping was gone for the day so we had to wait until the next day to have it refilled. Otherwise, we had no issues. Everything else was fine. Will probably stay here again if we are in the area.

Mattresses were old and you felt the springs. Room felt musty and old, old cigar smoke sent. Did not feel like a good Hilton. Staff was nice and tried to accommodate.

When I checked in, I asked to link my hilton honors account, and was told I could do it at anytime during my stay. I tried to pull up my account number but I had poor service, and there was a few guests behind me waiting to check in. I got the vibe that the attendant at guest services wanted me to come back later because they kept saying "you can come back later and do this", so I took the hint and went to my room. When I walked into the room, it was someone elses! stuff was all over the place the bed was a mess, so we panicked and ran out. We're not sure if housekeeping hadn't cleaned it yet, or what. I went back to guest service, and they were confused and gave me a new room, that was smaller. I was too tired from my travels to fight them on it. The next day when I went to check out, I asked if I could link my hilton honors, and was told that it was TOO LATE! UGH! so annoying, what a terrible stay. Which is unfortunate because we stayed at this location 2 years ago and it was a great experience.

Excellent place to stay. Parking was great and the breakfast was awesome. They was holding the towels hostage it was hard to get more but other than that the stay was good.

The breakfast was fantastic and the staff was amazing. The only downside was the hot tub temperature. It was lukewarm at best. We tried a few different days in our trip but it was the same every time.

I love the variety of the breakfast. I think that did it for me. 5 stars. The lounge area was inviting and the rooms were decent. Love the pool area. Great for my children. We had dirty sheets and pillow cases. The silverware were kind of dirty too.

The following morning, we requested room service to clean the room and replace the sheets, as we were traveling with children and our baby had made a mess on the bed. We also asked that they do a more thorough cleaning, given the leftover items and missing essentials. While the staff did apologize, no one came to clean the room. Instead, we were given sheets and asked to change the bed ourselves. Overall, it felt like the room may have been rushed during cleaning, and several important details were missed.

The room needed more cleaning, shower was cracked and the shower doors didn’t closed. The bathroom door doesn’t have locks which I wished it did. The fan didn’t work. There was dog poop in the hall near the elevator. And as you enter the property through the first doors there is a smell of dog that first greets you. If I had pets I think I would understand, but since it not the case I was a bit nauseous. Maybe an automatic air freshener would help. More towels in the room would also be nice. Otherwise, the breakfast was delicious and the staff at the breakfast are was very nice and helpful.

All staff were extremely friendly. The ensuite bathroom had a great ventilation system, which prevented the room from being humid. All rooms including kitchen were tidy and comfortable. The pullout bed was roomy comfortable and functional. On top of all this the morning breakfast was a treat- waffles and carnitas!

Our room was really clean and the bed was comfortable. We were on the 4th floor and carpets had recently been redone, everything smelled really nice. Breakfast was amazing!!! You have to try the carnitas pork and chicken, which they alternate days on. Staff were super friendly, even when kids made a mess. They got us as many extra blankets and towels as we asked for and they even texted us, asking if we needed anything while we were still there.

We stayed 3 nights in the hotel and the breakfast being offered was the same for 4 breakfast that we had. Would suggest that there should be a different menu maybe every 2 days of the week. Thank you.

Hotel staff is excellent. Morning breakfast is the best this is my third time staying here. It’s nice to have real breakfast foods offered. Apparently word got out on the breakfast so you want to get there early. It can get very crowded. If you ask front desk for bottle waters they will give you free complimentary

Breakfast menu was great. No complaints there. The main areas of the hotel were clean. The room was a huge disappointment, dirty sheets that didnt look like they were even changed. Hair and stains on them. Funiture was greasy and chipped or broken. Dust on surfaces. The pull out couch was horrible. The matress is done you can feel the frame, and the sheet that was on it was stained has three rips and also looked like was never changed. The beds were not competable and there were stains on the carpet. As soon as we got in the room I texted the to the front desk in the app of the condition of our room and got no response i asked for new bed sheets and bedding for the pull out since there was none in the room. Also there were only 3 towels but 5 people on the booking asked for that as well. Waited a couple of hours got no response. So went down to front desk to let them know. The gentleman at the front desk seemed very annoiyed of me asking for new bedding ect. I expained there were stains and hair on them. He didnt say anything. I told him excatly what we needed for our room he didnt write it down. About an hour later. House keeping came to our room had a bag of sheet and blanket. I said oh thanks very much. I reached to take it and he dropped it on the floor and walked away. Extremley rude. He gave us a greese stained blanket and no pillow and no towels. I send another msg to from desk with pictures and still no reply. They charged me for parking but i didnt have a car.

Little outdated and our shower didn’t work properly but not a big issue. Overall we liked it . We weren’t much at the hotel anyway.

The hotel was mostly great but our room was not the cleanest unfortunately. The remote was slimy, we couldn’t walk with our shoes off because the carpet was also slimey. The cabinetry was really banged up and scratched. The couch had stains all over it. I went out and bought some disinfectant to spray down all the surfaces to get some peace of mind.

Stayed here to celebrate my daughter’s 16th birthday, we had an amazing time.

Check in was very pleasant and easy. Room was wonderful even if I was unable to use the kitchen at all it was great to have the option. Room was clean, shower had good pressure, and towels are high quality. Bed was super comfy with great pillows. Delicious buffet with healthy options! Great friendly staff. Would love to have stayed longer.

Front desk Agent was not welcoming during check in process. Would’ve been nice to get a welcome or detail packaged about the property. Requested for sofa bed and pillows but only got it on the 3rd time calling/texting front desk. Also stepped on a tack on the bathroom and bedroom floor transition that held the carpet to the floor. Carpet was coming off off the track.

The hotel is well kept but our room was moist from the humidity in the room. That was literally the only negative. Everything else was great. There was breakfast in the morning, even a social gathering in the evening with food. Staff was approachable and nice. Checking in was easy and fast. Room was spacious and fit all 6 of us. My kids liked the basketball court. We will definitely return.

Unfortunately, cleanliness was an issue during my stay. The dishwasher was dirty with buildup, the shower had mold, and the hallway smelled unpleasant. A full deep cleaning of the property is definitely needed to improve the guest experience.

We stayed here for 3 nights. Its a decent hotel. We checked in around 9:30PM and the AC was not working in the assigned room. We were all very tired so we asked them to change the room but instead they said a technician will come take a look. When he did not arrive in next 10 minutes then we had to call them again to send the technician. The front desk looked surprised and sent the technician this time. Technician fixed something and asked us to wait another 30 minutes for the AC system to flush down and start working. We were pretty dumbfounded. Why don't you guys just assign another room (We hardly used this current room anyways). We insisted at front desk (as my son was already half-sleep) for new room then hesitantly they assigned us a new room. Next day breakfast was good. However the pool is very small and cleanliness is very bad. We could see slippers and kids crocs floating around in the pool. We ran away from it as fast as we could. Tesla chargers are right there on the property which may help.

Property was great. Suites are perfect. Stayed 2 nights 3 days. When we arrived we noticed that our air conditioner was not working. We asked to move rooms but there were none available. Maintenance came out to try and fix it. Came back in the evening and was still very hot. Suffered all night. Complained again in the morning and maintainence returned. Still wasn't working. Asked to move again if there were any available. Our first room had amazing water pressure. 2nd room did not. Air conditioner was wonderful but horrible water pressure in the shower.

They gave us a room in an area where there was no wifi working and also with no phone coverage. Carpet was very dirty and sticky.

We booked a suite for the purpose of using the sleeper sofa, and I had to ask for bedding three times. Not only that, the couch was stained/dirty. I would recommend a good steam cleaning or replacement. Also, the room did not come with a “Do Not Disturb Sign”. Lastly, the bathroom does not have a lock.

I have been on this property several times and I'm always calm and relaxed. Whether it's leisure or business, or never disappoints.

Our stay was for one night, upon check in we were assigned to someone else’s room which we walked into while they were there. We were very hesitant after that point. The room we were given after was a little bit of an upgrade but the room was a bit dirty. Carpets kinda felt sticky, and couch wasn’t very clean. Overall wasn’t terrible, staff and breakfast was very nice as well as location!

This Hilton was actually better than the one I rented last month in Downtown Denver. I think it was because of the size of the building. The one in Denver was about 25 stories high and a lot of people were waiting for the availability of the elevators. That was the only downside of it.

This proety needs some updates. Furniture is very worn and dirty. Our room had weird smell. Washers in laundry room did not work. I give 5 star to the staff. Everyone was kind and helpful.

My family and I did not enjoy our stay in the hotel. We had to even change a room. There were lots of stains on the couch, the shower was like dripping instead of flowing and the rug carpets were too old. I will not visit that hotel again. It ruined our vacation.

We reserved a one-bedroom suite—with two queen beds and a pull-out sofa—for our family of four, booking weeks in advance via Expedia. Upon arrival, we were informed that only a studio with a king-size bed was available. The staff member, Jaime, was dismissive and unprofessional, stating matter-of-factly, “We are overbooked,” without offering any apology or alternative solution. No refund was provided to address the disruption. The following day, we were finally moved to the originally booked suite, but the experience was undeniably inconvenient.

Breakfast staff: Friendly, polite, courteous Breakfast area: breakfast area is too small for hotel size and number of people. Lines form, not enough seating, no verification of guests or non guests eating, seating is either too low or high for matched tables, seating is dirty or excessively worn. Breakfast: nice mixture of options but if lots of people arrive the replenish time for many items takes a bit long. Business center: Computers (2) were not operational. Pool: Small, gets overcrowded, can comfortably accommodate 10-14 people, and tended to in morning and evening. Middle of day area is a disaster, murky water, no towels replenished, and when asked to replenish on multiple occasions - took 2-3 hours. Plan on not having a towel and the pool towels are hand towel size. Housekeeping: Every other day and mediocre. Did not replenish all towels or soap on mult. occasions. Asked front desk everytime for additional towels. Came to clean after 5pm on 2 occasions means it's not prioritized to clean that day. Asked to return following day and did not. Room: 2 Queen suite, Bed mattress are broken in, couch dirty, table was fabric and dirty, black out curtains with holes/cracks, A/C broke and room was 83° F. Engineer came first time and said it was okay. Engineer came again needed to be fixed but would take a couple hours, fixed AC. AC broke again. No room to switch, no comp, no upgrade, just what you get. Won't return.

Hotel bathroom can get some updating. Tub has cracks and paint chip. Dishwasher wasnt working. Pool area needs tighter rules people are smoking blunt and drinking alochol in front of kids

We went down to the laundry and a nice gentleman there helped us. Our nephews did enjoy the basketball hoop and workout room. The breakfast buffet was nice and the woman overseeing it was great.The surrounding area was very industrial. We would not recommend this property.

The front desk staff and breakfast staff were very pleasant. The pool was warm but very crowded. The exercise room was sufficient. The breakfasts were very good. Scrambled eggs, potatoes, waffles, fruit, pastrys, juices, cereal, oatmeal, coffee etc. Our 2 bedroom suite was nice except the sleeper couch was quite filthy. We had to use a bed sheet on it to sit in the couch. Maid service was ok. Needed more towels and didnt look like the room was vacuumed. Not a deal breaker though. Stayed 7 nights. Very busy hotel this time of year. Stayed here before would stay again. Felt safe.

Kind staff, clean rooms, perfect for travel with kiddos!

The stay was great and the staff was friendly and helpful. The room was a bit shabby with questionable stains on the sofa and sofa bed mattress. Aside from that the rest of the room was clean and comfortable.

The room layout is awful. The tv/dresser is 6 inches from the side of the bed and the bathroom lights are directly in Your face if you are in bed. The mattress is pretty lousy too. It’s soft and makes a plastic noise. Then, we were on the 4th floor along with a group of rowdy teenagers. They were running snd yelling in the hallways from 9-1.30 and again at 7:30. I tried to call the front desk but was put on hold for awhile. You need an employee to patrol the hallway when you know you e booked a large group or team. All in all, I hardly slept. The breakfast was cold both mornings (eggs and sausage). There were nice choices for breakfast but cold food and not enough space the morning after the teenager rampage

I actually went downstairs and asked for sheets to cover it. The young man at the desk did not offer any apologies or offered another room. Simply asked a colleague to get the sheets. The king size bed had a very old mattress and box. Very noisy and great team old. Needless to say, I will never book this place again.

Very Poor Quality.

The room was spacious and enjoyed the complementary breakfast but I was annoyed with the fact that every time I request something from housekeeping they never had nothing available such as towels and when I got to my room there was items left inside the cabinet from the last guest.

It's in a strip of hotels, so they have their own street which makes it a little safer area. It's in an overall area that doesn't seem unsafe, but I wouldn't leave your car unlocked while out getting something to eat. Easy interstate access really close, which is handy. The breakfast was very,good some staff were nice.. but the room they give me was dirty, the sofabed was dirty and very old carpet was very nasty, thanks to Chelsea a front desk lady transfer me to another room, to much money for thee hotel..

The pool was dirty, I dont think it was cleaned on those days. Staff not friendly .

The rooms were comfortable with a walk in shower as I requested. The Host at the front desk Chelsea was Extremely Nice and Accommodated all our needs. Thanks again to Chelsea fo making our stay Wonderful

The staff overall was OK. The first night we checked in dropped our stuff off went to a concert came back and we could not get into our room some kind of way the security latch.L

The ease of check in is always good

I love the rooms. The only thing when I was leaving there was a black spider on the bed. Other than that, ai love staying at thus property. As a matter of fact. I booked another room for one more day.

Not the best location, right beside a busy highway. Room view had garbage thrown in the back and it was very dirty.

Very clean, fast and easy check in process

Not friendly and late check-in

Sheets and pillow cases had stains. Stains that looked like blood. Asked them several times to change them and it nevet happened. Stayed there for 3 nights and our room was never cleaned. Was told there would be no parking fee after spining the wheel and I was charged for it.

Good economical option

Staff were very nice and accommodating. Our suite was very nice/ modern . Fairly close to redondo beach like an 8 minute drive. I think you can take the train/light rail to the beach too, which is right above the hotel. I loved the breakfast, staff kept the food stocked for the whole duration of breakfast. I would stay here again.

Great customer service

the place could be great but the whole hotel needs a renovation in terms of the items. For instance, the couch had too many stains. I had to call the front desk to bring bed sheets so I could cover the couch. The curtain had stains too. It doesn't seem like the refrigerator has been cleaned out in awhile. I'm sorry but I am paying over $350 a night I expect the suite to look spotless and shinning.
