As we arrived we could tell it was a bit run down (but it’s a motel 6, I wasn’t expecting 5 star presentation). We had booked a queen bed room, but they were all being cleaned so the manager (owner?) gave us a free upgrade to a king bed room, which we greatly appreciated. But trying to find parking was difficult to be within the view of cameras (which is essential when you have a new car). From there, upon entering the room, it was as minimally cleaned as it seemed could be legally allowed. The bathroom door was scratched up (like someone had been trying to get in or out of a locked door). Even with all the lights on, it was extremely dim. But worst of all, there were white crystals on the bench seat, gnats coming out of the wall from behind the outlet panels, and flies in the bed under the comforter. Even with WiFi, there was little to no service in the room, which meant I had to step outside to make a call which if I had stayed I would NOT do at night. We grabbed our things and left as soon as possible. The receptionist was very kind, she was extremely apologetic and gave me a refund with no hassle. But I would not recommend staying here. And I have never said that about even some of my other not great stays.

Roach, infested roaches, calling around the room and a lot of drug addicts hanging outside. TV was cracked and didn’t work. The sheets were dirty with hair inside the tub. Gross !!

Property is not well maintained- interior door handles loose and broken glass in the parking lot. No microwave in the room. Exterior locks seemed secure enough and hot water shower worked. It was ok for just a night passing through the area.

Not even 10 minutes in the room & killed 3 roaches. Tried using the phone to call the front desk, but no ring tone. Phone was filthy. There was also trash from the previous person. We moved to a different room,but still killed a roach. Needless to say, I will never be staying there again.

The pool wasn’t working or available to use at all, it was under construction it seemed like. The front desk lady had a nasty attitude, the room I had to re-mop because it was making my feet turn black with how dirty it was. So I don’t know why all of the features and amenities are promoted when they are not even available I hope to get some credit at least it was horrible

We didn’t end up staying here because it was upsettingly gross. We tried two different rooms. They were both very dirty. One of them had a full on open smirnoff mango in the fridge, bugs everywhere and it looked like someone had literally just taken a shower in the tub. Second room we were offered? Light didn’t turn on— but there were stains everywhere. The property was gross, upsetting and makes the landlord special sound fancy.

I don't recommend this place, it's the worst thing that has happened to me, a dirty place, the staff is terrible, I had it for two nights, I only stayed one and didn't sleep because it was disgusting to lie in that bed

The room was in very poor condition. The toilet seat was still dirty from the previous guest. The floor looked like it hadn't been swept them up in a while. There were either baby cockroaches or bed bugs crawling on my face when I woke up. I checked out at three in the morning because of the bugs in the room. Will definitely be contacting the health department.

The location was cool I didn't get to try the breakfast wasn't aware they served one .my room had a broken widow a long Crack right thru the center of it that was simply cover over with silcone to repair it didn't really make ne feel safe to leave my things behind in the room having not had my bug dog with me there was a missing light in the future on the right side of the bed the throw towel for the shower was dirty the shower was also dingy and lacked anytime of glossing my towels were even full towels they were varelyva step above a hand towel the pillows were thin and flat the bedspread had burn holes in it. There also was not one trash can or ashtray any where in the room and it was a smoking room I stayed two days and the next morning of the first day I had to locate the housekeeper because they never cane to see if I needed a refresh or trash thrown out and bags replaced ... when I did locate her to ask if I could ask for fresh towels she told me I had to wait and then never even shown up to accommodate me with them too See paragraph above

Pest control was a serious deficit to the value of the room. Flying bugs (roaches) began to appear. Light bulbs needed to be replaced. No light in the bathroom sink section. The last day of my stay began to appear roaches in the bathroom section. Light fixtures needed to be maintained with new bulbs. Visitors in the parking lot were ungroomed and posed an unsafety to the location.

I would Only stay @ this property by myself, I came here alone on business, it fitted my basic needs, somewhere to shower and sleep, I didn’t stay any extra time in the room other than that. I would Not bring my wife here. it had the bare minimum basics, nothing extra @ all. I would say this on the positive side, the room was Clean.

I asked for a smoking room, so I could smoke a bowl of my prescribed med, was told the non-smoking rooms were "nicer" but I needed a smoking room. BIG mistake. The floors were dirty, the coverlet AND blanket had holes burned in them, there were small dead roaches on the floor, as well as 2 that I killed... It building is Right next to the freeway, and the building shook with every big truck that passed above. All in all, it was a very very uncomfortable night, with all of my belongings packed in the car to keep bugs out of them.

The room was infested with cockroaches. I've never seen anything like it. It was absolutely disgusting. One of the lights in the room was out so you couldn't see at first. The air wouldn't turn on at all. The remote didn't work for the TV. The room was filthy, the bedding was gross. I checked in & checked out 4 hrs later. I couldn't stay in the room comfortably, not even a little bit. It was traumatic seriously.

As soon as I walked it the room smelled like smoke and this was supposed to be a smoke free room. The bed was very uncomfortable comforter had burn holes in it. The whole room had bugs crawling everywhere. First night there was a random person knock on the door and the second night there was some kind of domestic situation outside. Made me feel uncomfortable and unsafe.

It was ok alot of homeless in the area..not enough towels...bed was very uncomfortable like it was 50 years old made so.much noises ..for the money I paid it wasn't worth it..over a hundred dollars for a room that was noise all night besides the street traffic..

This hotel was horrible. The room was awful. There was writing on the doors. The sheets were dirty. They had hair on them. The bathroom was filthy. The only thing good about the room with the TV. I asked the front desk for clean sheet. They said they didn’t have anymore and they didn’t move me to a new room. That was the worst motel I’ve ever stayed at.

This place was invested with roaches I switched rooms the second room was more roach infested I had to buy my own can of raid this Motel needs to be condemned and the health department needs to be called on it immediately the infestation is sickening

The place needs to get better cleaning service, first room had roaches in it, the window was broken,and the ac did not work. There was also random street people walking by and didn’t feel safe.

The room smelled like garbage and pinsol. The towels were visibly soiled. The bathroom was filthy. There was a cockroach on the wall. We couldn’t leave fast enough. I informed the front desk, she did not offer to give me a different room. She did not are. I told her I could not stay here. And so had to leave and she said nothing. I have videos and pictures.

The staff were very nice except for the lady in the morning. She's whatever. There were roaches and the beds do not have mattress covers. The sheets are old and dingy and the mattress is old and disgusting we have dogs as do many and there are a ton of cats on the property making it annoying to walk your dog since they don't tend to care for cats too much.

This motel was booked for the proximity to downtown. Upon arrival to the room there was a smell. The comforter on one of the beds had a cigarette burn. The bathroom was dirty had a used soap and it looked like the shower was just used. There were no towels, new soap, shampoo or conditioner. The toilet had stains all over it. Everything felt very dirty. Needless to say, we didn’t stay.

The stay was horrible. I found roaches on the sink and in the restroom. I notified the desk and they said all rooms had been booked and there was nothing they could do. Unfortunately do to a festival in the area no other hotel was available, so I had to keep all my belongings tightly closed and was very disgusted, nervous ,and uncomfortable while trying to stay. Will Never Go Back.

Stayed in Room 110. Just needed a bed to sleep in. My standards for this stay was low. But OMG the room was so bad. roaches everywhere. Leaky shower. I couldn’t sleep because I felt that the room was alive, the roaches OMG.

The property while welcoming and conveniently located was musty, dank, and smelled like feet. One of our rooms had several roaches while the other was menial at best. There were several shady people outside. I had to run someone off using to Ice machine that didnt even stay there. The 2 bright spots were the staff was very kind and helpful

Motel 6 Redlands is a typical Motel 6. It’s basic safe, affordable lodging for travelers on a tight budget. Reservations and check-in were fast and easy. The property is well lit and in reasonably good repair. Convenient parking and freeway access. When I arrived at my room it had not been cleaned after the previous guest, so they gave me the key to another room, which also was not ready. The third room was fine. Maid and Front Desk Staff were very friendly and responsive. Overall it was a good stay, after a few glitches.

The room was dirty , the room had lots of roaches!!! The blankets and sheets did not smell clean or washed. We had the corner room so for some reason the hotel had all their trash right outside our window. The baseboards looked disgusting and the rooms were way smaller than what it showed online

Room was run down burn holes in the blankets bugs on the wall and in the bathroom. The water in the shower was brown when first turns on.

After getting my son to sleep, I got up and turned on the bathroom light to get myself ready for bed. As soon as I flipped the switch on, a genuinely alarming amount of roaches scattered every which way to try to hide in the shadows, but there were too many for them all to be hidden. At any given moment during our brief stay, we could easily locate at least 3 baby roaches. I understand Motel 6 isn’t exactly known for luxury, and I’ve seen a bug or two in a room before, but this was like something out of a horror movie. If there had been as many roaches in our room as there were towels (only 2, in spite of a double room we booked for our family of 3), I wouldn’t be leaving a negative review. But there many, many more bugs than there were towels. Also, the housekeeper was a bit rude. We were getting our things packed up to head out in a timely fashion when she began pounding on our door to let us know it was checkout time (it wasn’t). I get that the staff is on a tight schedule and need to get the rooms ready for the next batch of guests (I wouldn’t go so far as to say they’re getting the rooms clean at this particular location), but she was hollering through our door at 10:50, and checkout is at 11. We kept trying to say “just a sec” and she kept yelling back, “I can’t hear you, it’s checkout time!” We stayed here to participate in the Run Through Redlands 5k. We’ll be back for the race next year, but we’ll definitely choose a different hotel.

The room had a very strong, unpleasant smell as soon as we walked in. The bedding had visible stains and there were holes in the bed linens, which made the room feel unclean and poorly maintained. Overall, it did not feel comfortable or sanitary, and we were very disappointed with the condition of the room.

This is the worst Motel 6 we have ever stayed at. The room was FILTHY dirty (including obviously dirty(not stained, but dirty) towels).

get what u pay for , it’s ok

Everything , i couldn't believe how nasty it was. From the remote control , the walls , the bathroom was beyond disgusting. So Clorox, clean up Don soap and a magic eraser three hours later , I can sit down. Now beyond tired and fall asleep on top of my own blanket and sheets to wake up to cockroach crawling on the walls. I left at three am more Tired than when I arrived. To sleep in my car for the next few hours.

The room had cockroaches and the sheets had makeup and hair on all the pillowcases and the sheets were dirty upon check in. The pictures of the Motel 6 are completely false advertising and are not at all accurate of the rooms or property. I don't know why this is allowed by your website.

For one they gave us a key to a room that wasn’t empty with people in the room , and two the room they gave us the blankets had cigarette burns . People being loud outside your window all through the night.

This is an old motel. It's pretty run down. There are some longer-term tenants there. But it's fairly clean. And for the value and location, it's about what you would expect. I will probably be back again at some point

good people that work there, but the place isnt very well kept, cant expect much for $90 a night. Baby roaches in restroom. Very uncomfortable bed, flattened pillows. The room reeked of pee and the floor was sticky.

This motel needs a lot of maintenance and cleaning to do. I was placed into a room infested with roaches I could not believe it the floor was disgusting. I informed them I had a problem with that room infested the manager stated it was a first they heard of that which is not true after that I read all the reviews to see it’s been reported several times. I was moved to another room also gross but not as bad as the first room. It had a filthy floor not even swept or mopped, there was a died fly on the bed under the pillow and another on the floor. Then here comes a roach. I had a sleepless night I felt so uncomfortable my daughter was terrified and did not want to stay there. I believe it could have potential if time and dedication was involved. The bed sheets are dirty the beds are uncomfortable. Over all I would never go back. I would rather sleep in the car.

Upon arrival, the room smelled disgusting, like someone had taken a massive dookie right before we entered. Roaches were everywhere, dead and alive. The bed had stains all over it. We didn't even stay there; we decided it was cleaner and healthier to stay in the car.

It was dirty and had no shampoo or anything. I had to buy some at target. I heard maybe a ghost called La Llorona in the middle of the night, sounded like next door. Wasn’t that scared I was just annoyed. If you can kick her out that would be great. Smelled like smoke and ac and heater smelled dirty.

To start the pics online were deceiving…this place is gross and Not up to Motel 6 standards. I’m so pissed that my room was non refundable. It’s pouring rain and we were put in a room with active cockroaches, the bedding had cigarette burn holes and there was yelling in the parking lot the whole time. I checked in at 10:30 and left at 2am because I didn’t feel safe. Nor did I get any sleep. Very disappointed that this motel would even be recommended on Hotels.com and I would like a full refund.

The property was convenient for me to get to where I needed to go. Hopefully in the future the towels and tub in the bathroom can be cleaner.

The room smelled horrible and very chemically, not maintained at all, only one light worked in the room and we saw two cockroaches within one minute before I turned around and got back in the car to find a new hotel.

At 5am some one upstairs woke us up with a loud tapping noise that went off and on for 15-20 mins. We stayed in room 105.

The motel and room itself is nice. Had no trouble once I got check in. However, the front desk girl that worked 10/31 was extremely rude. She laugh at me when I asked to see if I could check in early. She didn’t have laugh and say “you’re funny, that’s going to be impossible”. She could have simply said no not at this moment check in later. But instead she just laugh at me.

There were cockroaches in the room and the walls and bathtub were dirty. The fixtures were also breaking.

Room had lots of roaches

This property is infested with roaches. I literally had to put my bags in my car and buy a sheet at the local Walmart just so i could lay on the bed. Worst night sleep of my lifem i stayed in my car until 2 am and checked out by 7

There was poop in the toilet when we arrived, dead roaches on the floor and the staff was rude. When asked to clean the bathroom and floor and addressing the odd smell in the room the staff was quoted as saying “that’s just how all the rooms are”. I’m a housekeeper myself and I didn’t feel safe or comfortable sleeping in the bed, unfortunately we didn’t have the money for a different hotel so I ended up buying blankets and towels to use instead of sleeping in the hotel bed.

This was the worst place I’ve ever stayed.

Room was okay but the outside was extremely dirty...toilet plunger and dirty mop sat at the top of the stairs my entire stay. Several rooms had windows broken/cracked. The smell of Marijuana lingered throughout the breezeway. The hot tub was out of order but they didnt drain it all the way, so they put up yellow caution tap but it looked like one of the permanent residence had been using it as a toilet and ashtray. The cabana area by the hot tub had torn fabric that looked like it was hanging on by a thread. The exterior lighting was pretty bright so theres that. My toilet area smelled of urine/mold but I guess you get what you pay for.

Was unable to go home due to mudslides that washed out the highway. The rating and price popped out, plus being close to Walmart. Had I known there was an Ayres across the street I would have gone there. I enjoy that chain and their breakfast. It was late, my son and I, tired and just wanted to shower and sleep. BIG MISTAKE. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

My room had roach bugs the bed spread was dirty the room was dirty and where the washing machines were located was outside instead of being inside the motel so it wasn't safe to be washing clothes outside I never seen anything like that before that you would have to wash clothes outside at a motel the washing machines were leaking water all over the sidewalk which made the sidewalk slippery over all it was the worst motel 6 I have ever stayed at so I give it a not really a 1 but I know I can't give it a 0 that's how bad it was on my first stay there so it will definitely be no more for me there

Pictures on website are a lie. Looks nice and clean once you arrive. It’s dirty and questionable about safety rooms. Do not have microwave or refrigerator which are standard and rooms front desk man is rude and not helpful. Donat stay there.

The picture on site are a lie!! This place is dirty, rooms are lacking microwave, and refrigerator to be able to cook yourself something to eat. Windows have cracks in them, cockroaches and client living in motel are shady at best. Man at desk is rude and not helpful.

I do believe this spot had a lot of good qualities, but there were a lot of cons as well. While clean in many aspects, the towels had marks, pillows had a weird scent, and the room had some pesky flies. We had various issues with our key cards but the staff was extremely helpful. No issues at all with the staff/room service. When you spend under $100 per night at a motel, it’s expected you won’t have the most precisely clean and “high end” hotel vibes. I will say, the location is super good and close to a lot of food/gas stations. The area isn't awful, there were a few people sleeping in their cars underneath our hotel room which was a tad alarming but normal for a Motel. Overall, I would give this motel 6 a good 3.5 star rating. Do I think this motel 6 is the best? Not really. But do I think it is the worst? Absolutely not. For spending under $100 per night, I will say that you get what you pay for. But if small details like what I mentioned above are important to you, think carefully about staying here.

Avoid this place if possible — horrible smell was penetrated in first room - a mix of bleach and dirty towels attempting to cover up putrid human ofors. Front desk was accomodating and moved us to another room, but that room did not have a fridge. Spend the extra $40 a night and stay elsewhere

as soon as we walked in the room we found 4 live roaches that we had to kill. the room also smelled of intense smoke and i noticed the fire alarm had been wrapped in plastic. overall not a very great vibe or experience

I’ve stayed at plenty of Motel 6 before, but this by far had to be worst one enough to leave my first review. Room had roaches, smelled like chlorine, and the bed was not suitable to stay more than one night. This property needs an upgrade and the staff deserves more to work in an environment like this.

The cleanliness of the room was horrendous, horrible! It was supposed to be a non-smoking room and walking in it smelled like smoke. The walls and floor were visibly very, very dirty and COCKROACHES were found crawling around the bathroom. I checked out right away.

There was dry blood on the top blanket. When it was night time roaches crawling from the cracks in the doors. Room smelt so bad I had to by air freshener. Woke up with bug bites in my back not sure what insect bite me. The price of the room was cheap for a last minute stay but this location was filthy. Only spent the night because it was non refundable and didn’t have another place to go

Agent had teeth missing and was dressed in Moomoo. She was sitting on curb outside. Office was not clearly identified. She was rude. We did have an issue that I could not find my license. Rather than being professional, her response was a nasty “No, nope.After I got the reservation changed with booking agency and showed her my phone, she still rudely said “NO!” Finally the name was changed in system and then , she accepted his EXPIRED drivers license. Mattress holes were sewn together and cigarette burn holes in bedspread. Pictures attached. We were so tired we had to stay but could not get out of there fast enough. No more MOTEL 6

So far this is the worst experience I’ve had with a Motel 6, they are usually decent but this one was stinky and dirty, I had to ask to change rooms because of how bad it smells, the second room was also dirty, stains on bed, ripped curtains, saw at least two cockroaches and even a men’s underwear on the floor. We were tired and just needed a place to sleep after 8 hour drive, otherwise we would have looked for another place to stay. Honestly I would give 0 starts if it was possible.

There was roaches everywhere and the smell of the room was bad body odor the rol and everything out dated , I ask for a refund I took videos of the roaches it’s seem a lot of homeless dirty drug user are the regular customers.. strays cats was everywhere on the property . Some of strong food when you enter the office ..

I’ve used this location before and was surprised at how bad it’s gotten the floor was sticky with dirt and hair outlets didn’t work the pillows were like paper the tub was dirty and had stucco covering a hole in it there was what looked like blood smeared on the bathroom wall and the lights kept flickering

To start off, I should have known what to expect when I had to check in through a small glass window on the outside of the building. Hotel is old and rundown, rooms had a bad lingering smell, similar to bug spray. Sheets / towels / wash clothes all were old and stained. Bath tub was stained with cigarette burns and had a black discoloration on the inside. People fighting and yelling all night. I would definitely not stay here again.

Will never stay at this hotel again and it looked like a car was stationed outside all night selling drugs ... that was the appearance anyway. Our baby is in the NICU at Redlands Community and if we had been able to go somewhere else without the additional cost or just losing any money we would have

Room was in poor condition, feral cats roaming the property (on my car), strange and shady people spending hours in their cars in the parking lot. Rarely felt safe being on property, especially at night. People behind the desk were somewhat friendly, but you couldn’t pay me to stay here again.

Room did not appear at advertisement, drapes were wrinkled, 2 pillows fwlt like folded sheets, no connecrion to charge pur phones, offered "free" coffee and the cup was 4 ounce cups

There was roaches all over the room , afraid of turning lights off, very uncomfortable, couldn’t go to sleep at all, left the room around 3am. Ill love to get a refund

The window in our room couldn’t properly close or lock. The room was roach infested, upon opening the door we killed 2 and saw 5 more running before we asked to be refunded. I would never come here again.

Ad pictures highly deceiving. The floor was so dirty I had to wear shows. Bathtub disgusting. Wear flip flops! Mattress terrible, pillows were wafer thin. Punched hole existing in bathroom door. Smelled weird. Cement walkways look like they have NEVER been pressure washed, smelled like urine. All around gross. Do not stay here.

I typically have good luck with Motel 6 as far as cleanliness, comfort and safety goes however this location did not meet any of those basic standards. As a solo woman who was traveling alone, I also didn’t feel safe staying here. The only positive thing was the front desk lady was nice. I had canceled my 2nd room weeks prior to arrival and this wasn’t taken care of by hotels.com so the front desk lady kindly took care of it for me!

Room was very dirty. Pillows were flat, plastic-like and uncomfortable. Paint was peeling/chipping. Table was barely attached to the wall. Boogers on bathroom wall. Hair in tub. Neighborhood wasn't pleasant.

I found the hotel clean, staff cooperative, and I give 4/5. It’s economic. However, there is noise around since it is found along bridge.

Looks very bad condition I been to the one in Arizona I felt so comfortable very nice and very clean I found all kinds of hair everywhere it had bad smell!

The staff are lazy. We walked into our firat room and it looked like someone just got out of the bed and walked out. The towels were wet on the counter. When i went to the front desk he did not care. Then asked if someone was in the room. Thw second room smelled like mold or something. We had to keep the window open to keep the smell out.

We booked here because of the pool, which was closed for no reason. The room was dingy and dirty with cockroaches. The TV and wifi did not work properly. Loud neighbors and nightly tailgate bbq's in front of room.

This motel 6 has roaches and the front desk didn’t want to give me my money back.

this property has cockroaches and the owner would not even refund my full amount. We’ve turned on the lights and roaches went scattering everywhere. Do not stay at this property until they bum the hell out of it. I am a platinum member and I stay at hotels all over the country and this is by far the worst experience I did not even stay when I turned on the lights and seen the roaches everywhere I left and they refused to refund me.

This area is very scary. Please make sure you take your valuables with you. Do not leave them in the car. There’s definitely drugs in the area. Please be careful. The smell of death was in my room. I thought it would go away, but it was still there the next day when checking out Very very, very bad smell. I thought that my clothes on my body would linger with the smell. it was so bad if you wanna save a few bucks stay here or if you wanna upgrade for a little more money you might want to think about staying somewhere else definitely not at this place.

I loved the fact that i could actually turn up the heat! Most hotels ive been to you cannot adjust the temp at all. Downside, the shower was wet when I first got into the room. The blankets were fresh but not the best quality compared to other motel 6's ive stayed at and they omitted a smell that never left during my stay. I was concerned if it would be a health hazard

Why does hotels.com allow this type of mess on there platform. Me and my husband drove hours looking for a reasonable price room we found this place . All the rooms smell like pee. We saw over 35 roaches yes we counted even some in the sheets . Because we had no were else to go since being displace by the eating fire we stayed they gave us a 50% discount and offered me roach spray which means they knew they had roaches prior to booking me. All imma say is health department my mom works for them imma ask her to pay this motel a visit asap. Close it down until issues are fixed

staff was friendly and nice! room was clean but there were stains on the bed sheets and the restroom toilet seat was all scratched up and the toilet paper that was left in there was like half used. the molding in restroom looked very old and rusted and broken. for the amount i paid to stay here which was $662 for two nights, one person, was not worth it.

This hotel is infested with roaches. Never want to stay here again.

I was afraid for my life.....When I went to my room 2 men approached me and looked me up and down , like I was a piece of meat. I went in the room and was scared. So, I went to front office and the guy was " On Break." To bad I was not able to cancel my reservation and nothing will be done about. Wish I could get my money back
