Carousel Suites

Well it is what it is. Very small space with double and twin beds so no room for comfy chair (s). Full kitchen capability tho i didn't use. Appreciate the many beach chairs, umbrellas and towels that was nice. Can't lighting, an under cabinet LED or fluorescent light would be a great addition. Unlikely to stay again.

I can't say enough about how peaceful and relaxing my mom and myself's weekend was. We enjoyed our stay immensely and the proximity to the beach. You couldn't ask for much more..... We will absolutely be rebooking in the future if you're looking for a nice, quiet getaway, this is your place.

The management was quick to reply to messages! They let us check in early and check out late! The suite was clean, efficient, and up to date! The walk to the beach was only about 3 minutes! Great stay!

Had a good stay in a clean suite. Staff was helpful and courteous. Beach is right very close and beach chairs are available. Redington beach is a nice beach area. A nice restaurant is next door with goodfood. The suites kitchenette cones with large appliances that are new. Walk in shower was nice as well. Definitely will return, especially the price i paid for it. Can't be beat!

Place is very clean and newly remodeled. A few steps from the beach entrance. This beach is much cleaner than most of st pete ones. Would love to stay here again for the convenience to the beach alone!

We took a chance and stayed in a place we were unfamiliar with.....and it ended up being the very best decision. The place is small but newly renovated and just perfect. It is practically right on the beach, and very close to shops and restaurants. We cannot wait to return for another stay.

Very clean and comfortable. Beds were great. Host was very accommodating and friendly. Only negative was we thought it was ON the beach based on description but it's not. There are other homes behind it. You have to walk a little down the road then go thru the public parking lot to get to the beach. No big deal but we were expecting it to be ON the beach. It was at one time before new construction behind it. Still a great little place to stay. Quiet and comfortable.

The property is located just a few steps from the public beach parking lot entrance. Next door is a restaurant/bar, you can walk to the ice cream shop across the street. The room was cozy and clean.

Charming little place. On property parking, super clean room and very comfortable. We walked to the beach and there was a wonderful grill and tavern right next door. The Steffens was accommodating and friendly. Great place to stay! I would stay again

The courtyard is well kept for relaxing in sun or shade. The Carousel Motel is conveniently located next to an ocean themed bar, bbq grill place with good food and drinks. The motel is also right next to a trolley stop which we used to visit other beaches and restaurants up and down from Clearwater to st Pete’s beach. We will stay here again if we come to the same area!

Exactly what we needed! It is small but we use it to sleep, shower, eat breakfast and sometimes lunch and go back out! Perfect location for us! Near to family and steps from public beach access! Everyone we met was friendly and it is clean and remodeled. Nice linens, Nice sheets! Has everything you need to cook meals. Perfect for 2 people!

Carousel was absolutely what I needed during my short stay in FL. My mom was diagnosed with terminal cancer in October, so I have been flying back and forth between CA & FL. My parents’ place is too small for me to stay over - and I wanted to be with my parents without being on top of them 24/7... Carousel’s location was so convenient to their residence and was comfortable, incredibly clean, safe, *and* right by the beach!!!! Practically on the beach. I lived for many years in NYC & Brooklyn in teeny tiny apartments - Carousel’s accommodations tick all of the necessary boxes and could stand up against a NYC studio in a snap! The medium sized refrigerator/freezer, MW, sink, coffee pot, pots/pans/utensils corkscrew were a nice surprise. There was plenty of storage & the peace of mind knowing that Judy was on site to answer any Q’s that might arise. If you are looking for fancy pants - this is not for you. If you are looking to stay right by the beach within walking distance to cute coffee shops & cafes - this is for you. The rooms are great for single or double occupancy yet probably not ideal for anyone with kids larger than 5yr. I will definitely look up Judy and Carousel the next time I'm in FL.

This is a hidden gem!!! Rooms are super cute, trendy, and incredibly clean! Has all the amenities we needed including usb chargers built into tables, coffee maker with coffee and so many other helpful items. Incredibly close walk to beach and restaurants. Staff is super friendly and efficient. This is our new go to getaway!

It was bright and clean and new. Steps to the beach.

Room was very clean. Had coffee pot microwave hot plate queen bed pull out sofa. Was minutes walk to the beach very convenient. Parking upfront was a little tight to get out especially around extended cab vehicles. Overall place was a win. Drawback was a lot of people outside in front of motel, smoking, and walls worth and could hear all conversations

Absolutely loved our stay! There was great communication with the staff. Is definitely a smaller older hotel but the owner has put so much love into it. Our room was so clean and bright. We will definitely stay here again!

Very nice motel. Clean , comfortable and very close to the beach. A/C unit could be quieter though. Overall a 5 star stay.

We got a very good price on this hotel for a one-night stay somehow, when everything else in St. Petersburg was way jacked up, probably for an event of one kind or another. I think the hotel may have been forced to do some renovations after a recent hurricane, but the upshot is that our room felt brand new, with a beachy vibe, and was absolutely spotlessly clean. It's very rare to have such a blemish free room at this price point, so... highly recommend this place!

Our room was extremely clean and fresh! The bed was comfortable and the brand new shower was amazing, it had great water pressure! The room was stocked with all of the amenities we needed. The manager, Judy, was very nice and helpful. The location is great! We will definitely be staying here again.

Great value for price. We stayed in an entirely remodeled room with a small kitchen. The light fittings, furniture --- everything looked like they had been selected thoughtfully to add to the convenience of our stay.

Nice, quiet, clean. Literally 1min walk to the beach. Nice large area for cooking, large fridge and freezer. Restaurant is next door, 7-11 2/2 blk away. Great prices!!!!

Clean, friendly staff, convenient location.

Carousel did exactly what it needed to do. It was a clean, safe, simple place to use as a “base camp” for quick beach access, as well as access to restaurants and other attractions in the vicinity. We were there for a wedding, and the bride needed hands on support at short notice. This location was perfect for going up and down the area quickly. And the sunsets were easy to see!

All in all it was ok for the price, beds could have been more comfortable. We won’t be returning there as we like a place with an ocean view.

My husband and I have an amazing time at St Pete, the Motel was well located and near the beach. Good for a short getaway, quiet and it has everything we need. I will definitely come back.

We loved staying at the Carousel Motel! It is clean, quiet and perfectly located within walking distance to the beach, restaurants, laundry mat and Del Bello Park. The room is spacious, comfortable and the kitchenette came in very handy.

The room was so cool, I wish we could have spent more time there. Had everything we needed!

The location is amazing. Walk to the beach or walk across the street to the intercoastal and drop a fishing line. Some great restaurants nearby that are not chains and if you want you can cook at the room. They have pots and pans, dishes, etc. The one downside is the parking. It is tight. We will definitely keep this place in our books as a place to stay again in the future.

Excellent Motel. Room is very well organised they provide everything you need away from home. Bit old construction but you dont feel it.

When we booked our stay, we thought it was directly on the beach from the pictures on the site. Alas, it was not on the beach, but there was beach access nearby. They also happily provide beach chairs, umbrellas, etc. We also borrowed their wagon to haul everything to the beach. There is also no pool. The rooms were spotless, the service friendly and responsive.

This was our second time staying at the carousel. We loved it there. The owner is very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The rooms are the cleanest we’ve ever stayed in. Very close beach access. Very close to shopping and dining, many options within easy walking distance. We would definitely stay here again.
