The room was amazing. It had all the amenities for an extended stay. The bed was very comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay.

The room was decent and the beds were comfortable. The girl hotel staff member was supper helpful but one of the tvs in our room didnt work due to the cords being old it kepts coming in and out of picture. Also the shampoos and conditioners on the wall were empty. The first morning breakfast the waffle maker kept sticking and burning them but they had that fixed by the second morning. Probably wouldnt pay another $350 a night to stay again tho when there where a bunch of other hotels around.

The hotel was excellent! :-) Also the staff, the facility, and everything about the hotel was superb! Your front desk staff, Casey, had excellent customer service and we wanted to give him a great review! We saw your cleaner Emily cleaning the gym and she is very efficient and we wanted to also give her a good review!

It was fine overall but the sofa bed was atrocious. We booked a suite with a bed in one room and a sofa bed so that our traveling extended family could have a little extra room. When we asked about the sofa bed, we were told “it isn’t really meant for adults”. If that’s true, it should be listed as such. The hotel couldn’t do anything to accommodate.

Wanted to commend Casey at the front desk. He had to take care of breakfast too since the normal worker didn’t show on time. He handled everything perfectly with a few cranky guests. Kudos to Corey!

We had some trouble with our reservation - we were a group of six and had reserved two rooms, and were told that only one was reserved/available. So we checked into our one room and later learned that our second room was actually available. Whew, thank goodness! Anyway the front desk staff was really wonderful about it, it turned out to be a simple mistake. Other than that we were happy with the rooms and had a pleasant night’s stay.

The hotel double-charged me. I prepaid with booking.com and then the hotel said the booking.com card was declined so I had to pay with my own credit card. I am now in the process of trying to get my money back. Also - the room was big, but super dirty and gross. I have a 1-year-old who is half walking, half crawling, and within 10 minutes, his legs, feet, and hands were disgusting and black with dirt from crawling around. I had a 2-bedroom suite and the bed in 1 room was super hard and the bed in the other room was super soft. Both beds were terrible. The kitchen was dirty. The walls were dirty. They obviously do not deep clean the rooms. I will never stay at this hotel again. Disgusting. The hotel double-charged me. Had a nice stay with family. Visited burney falls and other locations for 3 days . Breakfast was good. Everything was perfect

The front desk lady was very nice and helpful when we checked in. She let us know that Burney Falls was closed and provided us some other options.

The hotel was comfortable, staff was friendly and helpful. There are lots of areas around to walk your dog if you're traveling with a pet. I grabbed an omelet to go from the free breakfast buffet and it was really good! I liked having a sink and fridge for feeding my dogs and giving them water. Just a little noisy.

Fuses popped from just turning on the lights in the morning. Had to call maintenance to get that restored. I was just there overnight so I can't imagine what would have gone wrong if I had to stay a week. I expected more from TownePlace Suites. Will probably stay somewhere else especially when the price is up there.

It was a little disappointing. TV in our room didn't work. The bathroom door didn't lock - you could lock the door only when it was open; you couldn't lock the door (and the door would not stay locked) when it was shut. The hotel is on a side street and the area doesn't feel particularly safe. On the other hand, it's close to Churn Creek Rd and lots of places to eat and shop.

The location was fine. The breakfast was good, but there was not enough seating. We had to go back to our room to eat. On Saturdays, breakfast goes until 9:30am, but at 8:45, the sausage was gone. They were cooking more, but our waffles were done & since we had to go back to our room to eat, we couldn't wait for the sausage while our waffles got cold. Our room was nice inside & my granddaughter was so tired she slept well. I was tired also, but unfortunately, our room (#216) was next to a door labeled "storage". I wish it had been just storage, but there was something mechanical that I heard ramping up & down all night long. I'm guessing that room #214, on the other side of the "storage" room is just as noisy as #216. IMO, neither room should be rented out.

The young lady at the desk was very friendly and helpful. Anytime we were down there she went over and above what was necessary. The room is one of the nicest and best equipped of any I have been in.

However, our room’s toilet was not working properly that could not flush even a piece of tissue paper. The Guest Service offered an adjacent room for us to use the bathroom, and offered a discount. It was inconvenient, but not a big deal for a one night stay only.

The rooms are extremely small. The hideaway couches are awful. You can feel all the springs and bars. When they couch is open it goes up against the bed to point you have to crawl across the bed to use the restroom. The blankets were covered in hair. Just gross.

The room wasn¿t cleaned well, we found crushed up water bottles, tissues, and even an open pill packet on the floor. We have a toddler and needed to do a full sweep of the room to make sure there wasn¿t anything he¿d get into (especially the pills).

Customer Service is totally lacking, management only cares about the all mighty dollar, rather than resolving issue with customer. I will sleep on a sidewalk before I would stay at this motel.

We stayed in TownePlace Suits hotels a couple of times. It was our first time in Redding. The hotel itself is very modern and updated, but the location is not very inspiring. it is in the middle light industrial zone even though other hotels are near by. Good thing is that a couple of good restaurants are just a short walk. We stayed there for one night on our way to Oregon so it worked well. The breakfast is better than average with some hot food. Highly recommended for business travel.

The suite with full kitchen is great! They did provide everything we need to cook a simple nice breakfast/ dinner. Sofa bed is nice and pretty new which my son enjoyed.

I like the fact that the room was clean and spacious. I do not like the fact that I booked thru Expedia they automatically put me in a handicapped room with a wet bath room. I requested to be moved but they said no because it was booked thru Expedia.

The kitchen is not equipped. No mugs or glassware. Only one large fry pan and no small pans or saute pans. Silverware and utensils are basically non existent. Forks are 5 inches long. There isn't even a spatula or a bowl to mix pancake mix up in. It also doesn't have a toaster. I have stayed in lots of hotels with mini kitchens on this trip that did. Also the website should state that there are a lot of steep stairs to get to some rooms. Dangerous when carrying bags and suitcases down.

We stay here each time we go to see family and this time it was a family emergency. They are always courteous and make it so simple and fast to cjeckin and out. It is a safe secure and clean place for me and my kids.

The room was not properly cleaned to reflect what needs to happen in this day and age. The coffee pot still had old grounds in it, the counter in the kitchen was dirty and the room was very heavy with deodorizer scent which smells like cheap cologne.

I’m guessing it’s a system-wide issue, and we were sweetly warned the night before. Due to the pandemic, there was “grab and go” breakfast items only on the morning. For us, that meant wrapped bagels, wrapped muffins, wrapped apples, and the usual coffee stand. No jams, butter, etc. We toasted our bagels back in our room, and luckily had some butter on hand. Did not take away from our visit, and is understandable during these times. Plan accordingly, peeps!

It was my 29 year anniversary. My wife and I stayed at the hotel for Valentine's day and had a great time. For our anniversary I requested the same room that we had before (which is a handicap room) and asked that a dozen roses be left in our room. I booked and payed online for the room. When we went to check in I was told that my room wasn't available and that I would have to settle for another room. We got to the room and we're sadly disappointed. Dishes were dirty,floors weren't vacuumed, pots and pans we're dirty, bathroom floors had urine on them, I could go on forever. We took plenty of pictures. So I guess it's kind of hit and miss. Best four nights of sleep I've ever had in a hotel. The bed was very comfortable, the room was clean, the staff was friendly, and most importantly for me, the room was QUIET. Very little to no outside noises penetrated into the room.

Only two issues: Air conditioning was too noisy in one of the bedrooms and had an musty smell. Bathroom shower was not having enough pressure.

Pretty new. Liked the desk set up. Wish they had more parking....it is free, but somewhat limited in the number of spaces.

well i love from right of the bat the customer service was amazing the guy in the front desk is awwsome what ever question u asked he would answer recommend places to eat around here and places we should try out. everything clean pool was awwsome enjoyed my stay

It would have got all 5 if it had not been for the fact that every time you turn any of the TVs back on it turns to CNN. Very cheesy! It should either tune in the last channel watching, or the first channel, channel 2. It is enough to not have me stay there again.

Found it a little odd that the full length mirror was on a wall behind a bed. Other than that, was clean and fine for a pass through place to stay.

I was real upset when coming back at the Hotel late, there was no parking spots open. I had to park in another Hotel lot that was 1/2 way full, so it was a far walk. Then I forgot something and had to go back at 11:00pm. Didn’t want to take my tools out of the truck that late. The staff told me that there was a fire in town, however the excuse was not valid, there were dump trucks in 2-3 spots. Very disappointed with the amount I paid to stay. The heavy equipment could have parked in the street. I will never stay there again, should have gotten a refund for no parking facility.

Good quality rooms - great facilities, good mattress, sparkly clean.

The room was very quiet and the kitchen had all of the amenities needed. The staff was friendly and helpful.

We stayed here for a night as we were traveling up north. Staff were friendly, the room was clean and the air conditioning kept us nice and cool as it was super hot outside. We used the pool and the staff brought out some toys for the kids which was very thoughtful. We stayed in the suite, I couldn’t find any pans, cups or cutlery, after looking I finally found them in the dishwasher.

Very clean hotel. Friendly staff and decent breakfast. The room was spacious and actually had a living room (with fold out bed), kitchen two completely separate bedrooms, both with your own tv and thermostat control (which is so nice when some people sleep in colder rooms than others). Bathroom was clean and very roomy. The only downside was the bed was a little too firm for me. But that is a personal preference. No one else in our party had an issue with the firmness. I would definitely recommend this hotel chain and particularly this location. We will definitely stay here again if we’re ever in the area!

I stayed at this property the first night that the Carr Fire was out of control. The electricity went out for a bit and there was a huge power outage on the next block. The staff was absolutely amazing! Smiles and asking if we were ok the whole time. Considering that they were the ones watching their town burn, it was amazing how wonderful they were! Very professional and kind the entire time. I was super impressed. Room was very clean and I was very glad they had small wine bottles available for purchase at the front desk.
