My stay was great. Breakfast OK some breakfast potatoes would have been nice. The only complaint was the carpet was dirty and could use shampooing

The only reason I did not give a 5 star rating was not because of hotels neglect, it was because the toilet had broken and required a room change. The staff was great to work with and went above to correct the problem. I would definitely consider coming back.

Everything was amazing and all staff members were extremely nice. Breakfast was great and free. Bed and pillows were like heaven room was nice and clean. Property was clean. Shower was nice but hardly any counter space and no desk. Didn’t have a desk and had outdated TVs so I couldn’t screen share or watch anything but cable

If I had to give a recommendation, it would be to put a sign above the brochure stand stating that reservations are required to visit Burney Falls. Overall, the highlight of our stay was their friendly staff.

-$20 pet deposit very reasonable - Staff was very friendly - Right off the Hwy - Quiet - Linens were very white, clean and comfortable - room 109 had a giant jacuzzi carpeted all the way around and had yellow Caution tape across it. Made us feel like we were in a kinky hotel. It was super odd! -we found a live roach in the bathroom -rug had a lot of stains -bed had a metal bottom cover that made noise when we got on and off bed

Pool was fun for the kids exercise room is not really a thing it's like a closet with two pieces of equipment one of which are broken. There is no Jacuzzi or hot tub but there is a pool in the kids enjoyed their time in there. The hotel is dated and needs some remodel in my opinion but was worth the money beds were comfortable and it was clean enough for our liking breakfast was nothing special but free and edible staff was nice

We requested a quiet room so we were moved to a king with a double bed room at no extra charge. Room is small but plenty of space for one night. Breakfast was exceptional. Staff was friendly and helpful. Truly, nothing to dislike

Staff was very friendly and helpful. There’s no hot tub, which was a bummer but the pool area is still pretty nice! Rooms were good. There is a ton of cockroaches on the outside of the hotel in the parking lot. Positive is that we didn’t see any inside!

Staff was great property is old and worn down if there’s any renovations, it’s really cheap and expensive ones metal skirts around the beds that when you accidentally kick it wakes up everybody in the entire hotel so you hear that the entire time hot tub is not working and neither was the pool pool was open but water temperature was only 60 something degrees

Was that the unit was clean. The breakfast was not very good in my opinion. The eggs were not edible and Rubber like and the only meat option was pork sausage. I also was very disappointed that the pool heating system was not working. I understand that these things happen so we decided to still use the pool anyway but upon inspecting it was grossed out how dirty it was. So, it you are saying there because of their advertised breakfast and pool. You probably need to look elsewhere and not make the same mistake as I did.

The TV wasn't working, the pool heater wasn't working, and the gym equipment wasn't working.

I didn’t like anything about the property Building had a bad smell it looks old and bedroom look liked a crime scene with yellow tape in the room for a broken jazuzzi. As well as the bathroom was hot and had to ventilation. A lamp didn’t turned on . The toilet barely had any water to flush.

Amazing pet friendly property!!! The room was clean and open. The breakfast was amazing, and love all the areas you can walk your pet. I will be staying there again for sure

Room had a huge 2" approx. roachlike bug. I video 'd it. Pretty nasty sight for the expense I paid. I they removed it said God created bugs offered another room. Didn't think that solved the problem. I could have stayed at a dive for 1/2 price but thought it was more possible at a dive. Apparently bug free is very expensive. Was billed around $250 for two nights. No offer to reduce my disgust. Didn't ask. Most people would offer a remedy. Never again.

The reason I booked this hotel for the second year in a row use the pool and the heater was broken. They should’ve worn people ahead of time so I could’ve found a pool in a hotel that worked.

The air conditioner worked. It’s an old hotel and it shows. All mismatched carpeting. We were put in a room with a spa tub that was broken with yellow caution tape around and across it, like a crime seen. Very unsettling to sleep next to that. Our sleep was poor and we wish we had picked a different hotel. I give it a 1 out of 5.

Helpful staff members. Clean, quiet, comfortable room with the fridge and microwave I needed for my special-diet food!

Only issue was the pool heater was down when we visited so we could only use pool for limited time.

I enjoyed everything about my stay. I've been to this hotel several times now. Great staff, comfy room, excellent location. The only thing I didn't care for was the little shelf on the wall just inside the door. It's in the way while you are entering the room and I bumped my head on it 3 times. Maybe relocate those!

Staff was wonderful housekeepers were awesome. Property was clean. Breakfast was great. Had no issues will stay there again and the best thing of all right around the block was black bear diner.

The room had a coffee machine, fridge and microwave, which we didn’t need but was very nice. The staff were very nice too. Shower unfortunately only had the shower head attached to the wall, which I personally highly dislike opposed to a hand held shower head or a head attached to the ceiling. There was a family with kids above our room that were running upstairs for quite some time which made rest a bit challenging, but I can hardly blame that on the hotel, just maybe offer a suggestion for the future to try and book families with kids in rooms a bit more isolated from other guests.

The room we got was the suite, it was big, spacious and quiet, we couldn’t hear any noise coming from either side which was nice, the location was also good, close to cypress square and down the street to the mall and other shopping areas The hot tub didn’t get super hot, but it was alright

White blankets ! The lady working in the front at night looked super irritated, and was pure attitude. (After driving all day thats not the kind of interaction someone wants to have) second floor smelled like marijuana , pool heater broken treadmill broken and there was little hair all over are bathtub.

I stayed there three nights very nice hotel. I enjoyed my stay.

The jacuzzi tub was nice but not like in the pictures. I know they were redoing the rooms next to us so maybe onlune it's a picture of the new tubs. The water was very hot so that is a plus!

Bed was comfortable which is key. The cable, Dish, is meh, my only complaint. Food was hotel food, don't expect restaurant quality. Pool was warm and large pool.

The only problem I had during our stay was the juice served at breakfast which was watered down really bad. Everything else was great. I will be returning when i travel to Redding.

The pool was warm and it was nice it was indoors because it was raining, but no hot tub and a lot of children and teenagers without any supervision being unsafe and crazy, which made the pool not enjoyable. The trees need pruning, and the halls are dark. The staff were nice and funny. The breakfast room was small and univiting for the number of guests. Had a great night sleep, despite the bed and pillows being a little firm. I liked that there was a place to hang wet swimsuits, but there was not a working vent fan in the bathroom.

Did not want to even work on making accommodations. The employee said because i was a 3rd party customer. Guessing because i used Expedia he could not accommodate a late check out

There were many things in disrepair. Door going into Lobby broken, about to fall off. Ripped carpets in hall, broken hand held shower wand in our bathroom, no hooks in bathroom for used towels or robes. Microwave didn’t work, was unplugged for that reason, also words on front of microwave NOT in englis. Plumbing dripping from faucets on top of sink and somewhere on floor under sink. Room 214. No hot tub even though pictures show one. The bed was very comfortable though!

Property was clean and accessible parking from the freeway. The rooms were clean and had toiletries such as hand soap, towels, shampoo and body wash. The indoor pool was clean and had a great temperature setting to be comfortable.

The room itself was super clean, jet tub very clean and in great condition. Our room was on the first floor, very conveniently located near the pool, breakfast room, lobby, and exit doors. My ONLY issue was the bed. It was awful. Neither my husband or myself could get any sleep. ODays later, it still hurts.

Only two tiny gripes. For a non-smoking property, they have a lot of people who smoke right outside the doors (even blocking the doors). Also, several guests decided they would make as much noise as they possibly could. That's not the fault of the staff, but it's worth mentioning.

We were woken up at 4:45am Sunday morning by a guy looking for a friend. He knocked for a while. I called the front desk and no one answered. Used my cellphone and on the third call, the front desk girl finally answered. She said she would look for him. Heard the same guy knock on other doors in the same hallway.

This is a great location and it it preferred by our staff when they are in Redding. Breakfast is good and there are many dining options in the area. It is not the newest hotel but it is well maintained.

Sheets are rough and the sausage at the free breakfast has no taste other than too salty. Some idiot above be was exercising and stomping around at 4:00 a.m. Ugh. I stay here 2-3 times a year but may try somewhere else next time.

The property was good enough to stay in for 1night. Our bedsheet had a stained and we exchanged it for a new sheet. I dislike that the bathroom had no blower/fan as it got too hot.

Paid 140 for a room with stains everywhere. The chairs were filthy with stains everywhere. Felt disgusted to sit any where in the room. The room was so tiny, it was nearly impossible to walk without bumping into something. The pool was foamy with the last thousand guests dead skin and oils. Yuck, no thanks! We will never book a room at this hotel again.

Where to start coming into the room, the bathroom floor is dirty. Open the fridge. There’s used water bottles in there with a bunch of ice. We especially get a jetted tub. There’s toilet paper in the jetted tub. We have to take out first and the top it off the plug in the jetted tub doesn’t work so I’m not very happy at all.

The old bad smell in the hallways I had no clue n forgot to check reviews the fires were going on :( the outdated carpets the hairs in the old outdated literally looked like a 70’s tub N the ice machines were not working unfortunately it’s outdated if you want a great experience this is not the place but if you want a quick lay meaning the sex capades going on this is your place! Respectfully

We had a very nice stay at this hotel. The room was very clean and Arlene was so accommodating since we were traveling from out of town. Nice breakfast. Nothing bad to say at all. Looking forward to our next trip. So much more to see.

The hotel feels very outdated, although the rooms were ok , the common areas were disastrous and the location feels unsafe, we saw lots of homeless people around. The breakfast was terrible also, no healthy/ fresh options.

Do NOT recommend staying here. Our room was dirty, smelled moldy, and had COCKROACHES coming out of the bathroom. They wouldn’t even agree to provide a discount because of this. Horrible customer service.

It was a great room for the price. The staff was very accommodating and polite. The room itself was very different. It had a balcony that was actually inside the building overlooking the indoor pool. It also had a jacuzzi tub that easily could have fit an entire family. I was ready to stay a few more days, but unfortunately we were just stopping by for one night on our way to southern CA.

Our first room was not clean. We let the front desk know. The staff apologized and put us in a new room immediately. It was clean and everything else seemed clean. Would stay again.

The hotel was clean and well kept, enjoyed the pool and the staff was very helpful and friendly. Great place!

The beds were super comfy, like sleeping wrapped in a cloud but the room smelled a little funny, like the air conditioner was off for too long.

The only cons are the main floor hall carpets are a bit worn/ dirty, but upstairs hallway carpet is in great shape. There’s some wear and tear, likely from suitcase caddies hitting doorways, but the place is clean.

Close to the freeway, gas, fast food, grocery stores nearby. Pool and breakfast privided.

It smelled truly foul in the downstairs corridor… I do not exaggerate this! It smelled like a decaying body. Our toilet was broken so you had to lift the lid and manually flush and our television had been cracked. Beds were very clean and comfy and the staff was so kind.

Really clean room, super comfy beds. Not far from the freeway but far enough that you don’t hear it at all. Highly recommend as a stop for the night. Lots of fast food around. Free breakfast, was very basic and not many options but did the trick and my kid liked the waffle machine. Lots of parking. Requested ground floor when I reserved my room and I got it even at 10pm on a Friday. Check in was easy and the lady was nice and efficient (3/14 and 10pm) Housekeeping does a great job too. Will stay again.

I had an overnight In Redding because my alternator went out on my car. The hotel was 1/2 mile from the auto shop! They let me check in and early as a room was ready! The staff was lovely! Its a place I will return to in the future! Can’t say enough good things about them!! Lovely!!

Everything was excellent. The only issue I had is with the bed, but in saying that I have a bad back. The staff was excellent and the room was quiet!

I booked for 17 night's and requested a late check out because my flight out didn't leave until early evening. I was told the latest check out would be noon and i had to reserve the room for another full night costing 120 dollars. At no time in my stay was the hotel operating at any where near full occupancy and an extra few hours wouldn't have been too much to expect as a courtesy. There wasn't even anywhere to store my luggage where I could collect it near my departure time.
