Nice place, no complaints

I stayed for one night to watch a sporting event the following morning. Front desk check-in was fast and welcoming with a bottle of water and a small snack. Very friendly people work there. Room was going with strong AC and bed was very comfortable. Easily could’ve slept two more people in the fold out queen couch. Kitchenette was well equipped even though we didn’t really use anything but the fridge to keep drinks cold. The three minute drive from the property to Starbucks the next morning was helpful before the sporting event, as we ordered to-go travelers for the spectators of the sporting event. Came back to enjoy a peaceful and satisfying buffet breakfast in a clean and updated dining area and then checked out.

My bathroom floor was visibly dirty when I arrived and I asked to have it cleaned the next morning. They brought in clean towels but did not clean the bathroom.

The room was simple, neat and clean, and the bed was quite comfy. What really stood out to us, though, was how incredibly kind all of the staff were. We were greeted as we checked in, greeted any time we passed staff - everywhere we turned there were friendly employees eager to answer questions or give directions. It was so very nice. On top of that, the breakfast provided in the morning was delicious - sausage, eggs, biscuits and gravy, cereal, yogurt, fruit, juice, and a make-your-own-waffle bar. Thank you so much for an incredibly pleasant stay! We'll definitely be back!

The property was very well maintained. Check-in was easy and the staff friendly. The room was clean and well appointed. My only complaint is that they now charge $10 for parking. But then it seems almost all motels are now doing that. I would definitely stay again.

This is the worst Residence Inn we stayed. The bedroom was very small. The bed is too soft, very uncomfortable. My partner and I had bad sleep. We were tired in the next morning. Will not stay again

I was displeased with my room. I found weed on the floor and I had my 2 year old with me, imagined if he ate it. Then the top drawer didn’t stay closed and my son did bump into it. I called at the front desk and asked them to fix it at first. They were trying to fill the next day but I told him no they had to come now so they stuck paper towel in there. The pool was indoor and the water was very cold. My son was only able to swim about 15 minutes before he started shaking. I won’t be returning here

The property was clean and nice, and the breakfast was pretty good. It was extremely difficult to find the location. Even with the GPS it took us two or three times in the general area before we actually found it.

The Inn was very welcoming This was our second visit this month, and the office staff recognized us immediately.

The place was very clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was good. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the location was excellent. Our room had one bedroom and a fully equipped kitchen, which made our stay even more convenient. What I didn’t like: the smell in the elevator, the TV remote didn’t work, so we couldn’t turn the volume up or down, and the sofa bed mattress was not very comfortable.

Dirty, broken AC, facility was dirty, sticky doorknobs, broken AC panel, the shower head had yellow caulking around it like a kid put it all around, not pretty, the closet only had one door that kept sliding making it very inconvenient to put a suitcase in. I booked a one bedroom suite none handicapped, I specifically book the none handy cap suite. The manager Jeremy, terrible customer service and attitude, assigned me a handicap suite stating that they are fully booked. If they were fully booked they needed to reserve a none handicap suite for my arrival. My husband is 6 feet 2 inch and the lack of space in the shower and a shower head shooting at his belly was not convenient or comfortable to have to shower holding the shower head high up.

The breakfast was always very good. The room was very comfortable and it felt like home. All the staff was very friendly and helpful. The room had an offensive odor, like fish. Efforts were made to remove the odor, and it helped. But the odor would return.

There was a 10$ a day parking charge that was not known to I arrived. I don't recall seeing it on the bookings site.

The room was so clean! I loved the full kitchen but wish it came with an oven. I thought the indoor pool would be heated but it was pretty cold, still had fun! The breakfast was great everyday! I loved the rotation of food everyday.

I did not stay in the hotel on Nov 30th-Dec 1st. I had book to stay at the hotel for the same niggt it was booked. When I got to the hotel-Residence Inn by Marriott Sacramento Rancho Cordova that night, I was told that I did not have a reservation for the night. That the reservation was for Nov 30th-Dec 1st. That I am going to have to pay for that night, if I want to stay. I ended up paying for that night at the Residence Inn by Marriott Sacramento Rancho Cordova. I told them to cancel the reservation for Nov 30th because that is not the night I needed a room at that location. Please refund my money, because this should have been cancelled.

mistakenly requested handicapped access room. drain didn't drain water when showering, blinking light on phone as though a message was left, one lamp didn't work. overall pretty clean but bath fixturea s showed age. the worst was someone cooked fish and kept their door open which stunk up the entire corridor. will never book at this location again.

The staff (Mickey?) was very friendly and accommodating and helped us secure a room on the ground floor. The other lady in the morning was also very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is perfect with grab-and-go options as well as sit-down options. We will definitely be back!

Expedia said it was free parking all over the page in bold to entice you to book, but when we got there, we were charged for parking and the desk just blamed Expedia. That was incredibly offputting.

This was a nice hotel ! For the price , it was definitely worth it and I plan on coming back again! The service was good, everyone was very friendly . The property was nice , lots of beautiful trees surrounding the hotel and they have a delicious continental breakfast for their guests that was great! Lots of options for breakfast. The indoor pool and fire pit are so fun and a nice touch! My room was awesome! It had a living room, tow bedrooms , and a whole kitchen with a stove , dishes , pots and pans , and a fridge ! Most definitely worth every dollar spent !

We applaud the team at this hotel for highly responsive plus superb customer service. The amenities are very good, parking is easy, and the price is quite reasonable. Also, the location is excellent for getting around the Sacramento area.

We needed to stay close to the hospital to support a family member's critical surgery and hospital stay - to have quick and easy access to the hospital. Residence Inn was accommodating in allowing us flexibility to extend our stay as well as watched out for our our adult disabled daughter's safety while we were going to and from the hospital. It was a very clean and safe and quiet facility.

Cons- small swimming pool with high smell of chlorine, unfriendly service and limited (2) bath towels when requested, the place can use some remodeling and cleaning.

The front desk staff was especially nice and helpful, which made our stay really enjoyable. I will book this hotel again if I return to this area. Highly recommendable.

No hand lotion supply

We had an interesting development in the evening where water suddenly started flowing out of the bathroom ceiling vent. It wasn’t a deluge ( I’m guessing the room above us must have overflowed their tub?) a bucket under the vent and it soon stopped. The folks at the front were very apologetic, but no harm done. An unexpected something to laugh about during our visit.

One of the best stays I have had with Redidence. My daughter turned 5 last Saturday on 3/16. Upon check in the staff left my daughter a bday card as well as some treats. Super appreciative of the great service given and my daughter was happy.

I lived staying here. The staff were very helpful, I felt safe, it’s super clean inside the rooms and outside on the property. I slept like a baby lol! I’m retiring to this hotel in 3 months.

The room was clean & very spacious basically a studio apartment. Full fridge, stove, dishwasher, full kitchen with dishes, very convenient since we had our daughter with us. We were visiting for Disney on Ice and this hotel was definitely worth the money great stay!

Air conditioner quite loud turning on and off throughout the night.

Booked two rooms for college visit for our daughter, both rooms were clean and nice as expected. However one of our rooms did not have a normal land line phone to use to reach the front desk or house keeping. Phone wasn’t a necessity as cell phone service was good.

My stay was very good. I enjoyed the breakfast that was provided. The staff were friendly. Free parking was appreciated. The indoor pool was a plus. Due to COVID-19, room service was limited and on one occasion, I didn’t receive towels as scheduled. This was a non-refundable hotel so I purchased insurance which was an additional expense,

My stay was not pleasant from the day I arrived. The customer service was horrible when I went to check in. The room was not clean not the guest bedroom or the first room both of the bathrooms were not cleaned their rooms could’ve been dusted and the vet the floors could’ve been vacuumed it seemed as if I was in a room that hadn’t been rented for sometime. The amenities were not all available. When I went down once for breakfast I felt like I was being watched as if they didn’t want me to touch the food. I will never stay At this establishment again I feel I should be given a refund for my stay because it was that horrible there was not very much accommodating services some of the room the phones in my room did not work. Or not plugged I’m not really sure but they did not work I was not able to dial only from one room in the living room area. Very disappointing

I like it because it had a refrigerator and a electric stove so I was able to save money cooking my own food.

Very clean and updated hotel. The complimentary breakfast was by far the best I've seen in any hotel I've stayed at during Covid. The beds are comfortable and the hotel is quiet other than some background freeway noise. I was traveling for business and while this was a bit further away from my work destination, this will now be the hotel I used moving forward for any business I/we do in the Sacramento or Elk Grove area. It was truly exceptional especially in comparison to some others we've stayed in around that same area.

Hotel and facilities are nice. There was a very wide range of people checked in from those on business, military personnel, and what seemed to be those down on their luck but somehow could pay for these rooms to live in. The last group of people made the stay here less than desirable. Extremely loud and arguing in the hallways, smoking in front of the access doorways, and yelling at all times of the night into the early mornings. The rooms are fine and clean. The only issue inside the rooms are the lack of sound reduction of the hallway and other rooms. The refrigerator is a nice convenience but the motor noise along with the AC unit and fan motor are annoying.

But when we have the DND on the door while trying to get ready for my Dad's funeral and housekeeping was knocking on the door around 9:30, that was not acceptable. When they came back AGAIN 15 minutes later, I was beyond frustrated with the situation. We already had plans on checking out 30 minutes early, so to be rushed out the door after having to wait to check-in was a little infuriating. I get it that they might have a skeleton crew right now but I don't think they should be continuously rushing people out so they can stay ahead of the game. They have no idea why people are staying at their establishment and in my case it was to lay my Dad to rest. It's not like Rancho is some major tourist destination or anything. I would suggest they put their guests before their bottom line, to maintain their reputation as a decent place to stay, as the world opens back up.

If you're going to allow hand towels in the kitchen, then put them and the soap IN the kitchen; don't make people go downstairs to the front desk for them. You left 1/8 of a roll of toilet paper; same need to chase supplies. No facial tissues. No wastebasket in toilet area, and none in room itself. Sofa was the most uncomfortable thing I think I've ever experienced. Desk lamp was brightness of a single candle. Two plates, forks, knives etc. in kitchen; if a guest came in you had to eat in shifts. Coffee in kitchen but no tea, popcorn, etc. LET ME GUESS: THIS ALL HAD TO DO WITH COVID-19 SAFETY? Have stayed in Residence Inns in four states. Yours was by far the worst. If I have to be in Sacramento again and HAVE to you use your hotel, I'll skip the trip.

The bathroom was leaking but otherwise it was good

My family has stayed here 3 times in the last 2 years for a little staycation. Its been almost a year since our last stay and it seems like the quality of product has gone down. They are in the middle of renovations so hopefully the end result will be better. Let me start by saying the staff is always friendly!! But we were given an ADA room at checkin which was surprisingly small. Requested to be moved and and was put in a queen but paid for a king. Too tired to move again... was so looking forward to their hot tub to make it all better. Good thing I came this week because renovations include doing away with the hot tub!!!! No!!!!!! There was confusion between the front deck and kitchen on what time breakfast would end since its a holiday. The food quality was a bit lacking as well. It just wasnt as smooth a trip as we have come to expect from this property. Really bummed about the hot tub. Maybe we will give it another chance after renovations are complete. Hoping this was just a one off and not the new norm!!!

We always like staying here with our grandchildren for Christmas visit. This year we visited after Christmas. The staff is excellent. We were a little disappointed that we were given one bar of soap for the suite to wash hands and only conditioner for hair. We did not feel like we had enough toiletries for four people. Also, we requested the upper floor and were placed on first floor. It was okay, but would have liked to have been informed about construction. However, the staff really worked hard to make sure we were comfortable.

The room was not as advertised. My family's holiday was totally ruined and they gave zero accomodations. There were not willing to help us at all due to our family booking through Hotels com.

There was a dog barking the entire night and kept up our entire room awake. Two dogs actually which was very inconsiderate of owners to the pets cause we were in a hotel for rest and two sons with games the next day . That’s the entire reason we were in Sacramento. So not sure how good of an idea it is to have pets in an area with rooms without pets

The hotel was the best experience we have had at any hotel we have stayed at. It is tucked away behind the hotel we normally stay at but oh so quiet and convenient.

They were really nice help full and the room was nice pull was heated and had the spa. Only problem we had was the Little league team that was also staying there but that's not on them.

First time staying at a Residence Inn. I like the suite arrangement, especially considering how inexpensive it is. Lots of room, very comfortable. Highly recommended!

The beds are badly in need of replacement. The pet feels is extremely expensive for staying in a room whose bathroom smells like pee. The staff is absolutely the best part as they are all very friendly and gracious. The pull out bed didn't have sheets but, we were able to get extra blankets.

The suite was nice to have for family members to come over to visit. It was also convenient to have breakfast included with the room price.

Customer service exceeded our expectations by far! Room was excellent and so was the pool. Very rare do I feel like I get my money’s worth when it comes to hotels, but not in this case. We will definitely be staying with this chain more often.
