Fairfield Inn & Suites Rancho Cordova

Family arrived at 5pm and was told that room was not ready and need to wait another 30 minutes. Suite was not ready till after 530pm. Very disappointing after being stuff in traffic to find out room is not ready. -Breakfast - waffle maker is not working properly -Room microwave is not functioning right -Toliet in room is not flushing properly -Door does not close properly, it does not shut properly -Family was moved to another room (smaller) the next day after toilet still not flushing properly. -Was not able to get a credit for the smaller room because I booked with Hotel.com vs direct with hotel, but did offer food credit -Staff was very kind and friendly -Unfortunately this is the worst experience thus far with any hotel -Will not recommend this for anyone at this point as there were too many opportunities -Will not be my hotel of choice at this time -I am a Marriott Rewards member and am disappointed with the experience

I stayed at this place before but this time the room I was given the microwave did t work . I told the front desk they sent this lady with another microwave and she was so rude it seems she was having a bad day and took her anger out on me and my son. Worst experience.

Forewarning before you book and you have to cancel because of an abrupt issue. When you check out at the hotel desk, IMMEDIATELY contact Expedia to request a refund for remaining time. If you wait a day they will not refund you even if you had physically checked out at the hotel reception with staff!!

I had an issue with the front desk rep telling me that I would have to use the restroom in the lobby (3 floors down) because it was after hours and no one was there to fix. On a better note, the manager was great! She had someone come right up to fix the toilet but it was almost check out time, so she made accommodations for us that we didn’t have to asks for, but we’re deserved due to the inconvenience. I thanked her and told her that she is the reason the establishment didn’t get 1 star

Everything was great except for getting the normal housekeeping service every other day as stated on their hotel directory.. I stayed 6 nights and only had one service to my room even after I asked for it for one more time. When the second time was missed i asked again and was informed my room would be freshen up that day but still it did not happen. I was disappointed as I had stayed here before and had excellent service. I was informed that they were short staffed.

The showers are just a tub shower like home. The breakfast was only soso and the front desk person was a bit scatterbrained the night we arrived. Don’t do what she said she was going to do. But the people were nice and everything was adequate.

The staff was really nice and helpful. They went above and beyond to ensure my stay was good. I will come back. Shout out for Jennifer who was helpful and a delight to have a conversation with. Everyone was smiling here!

I just loved that place

Wanted to create a draft to air out the room and it turns out the nail in the window was removed—the nail that would have only allowed the window to be opened part way. Would not have mattered as the frame of the screen in the window was damaged (as if someone had tried to remove the screen from the outside) and would have allowed bugs into the room if the window was open. So, either way, I wasn’t going to get a draft going. Management sent someone to come look at missing nail and broken screen. No one addressed either issue. I then asked for fan. No fans available. I then asked for another room. No other rooms available.

Great choices for hot breakfast. There was always enough choices and items were replenished quickly. Food was good, dining area was kept clean. Although there was a busload of guests, there was room to eat and enough food for all. No complaints. Christine and Darlene were fabulous at their jobs. Made guests extremely comfortable. Guests that arrived late should be more sensitive and reminder from the front desk would help. Although it is difficult to control big groups, reminders to the chaperones helps.

Christina helped us at the bar with dinner and always greets us so warmly. Not only was she there working at 8:30 at night but we saw her at breakfast as well. Every single interaction with her has be so warm, welcoming and enjoyable. She’s such a magnetic person.

Everything was clean. Staff was very friendly. Breakfast was served at 6:30am instead of 7am.

Very good property with reasonably clean and quiet rooms and common areas. Everything in the room was in working order. Shower water was a little chilly in the morning but no biggie. The breakfast was very good with hot egg and sausage options. We’d be happy to stay here again whenever we’re in the area for volleyball tournaments.

First, we were bumped to a King, when we made a reservation for a Queen room. Second, the room smelled weird, triggering allergy problems for me and my daughter. Third, the sink did not drain properly. Fourth, the shower curtain fell on the last day. I've requested a partial refund and I'm waiting for the manager to call me back. I would not recommend this hotel for my dog to stay in; therefore, we will not be back. Beware...the pricing is reasonable because it is a subpar hotel!

The location of the breakfast was great. However, the oatmeal was extremely runny and starchy and not well cooked. Also the bran muffins were almost inedible. Other than that, everything was fine. The building and cleanliness were very good and it was nice and quiet.

I would have liked a room to stay in I arrived and was informed that they did not have a room for me and that they could not refund me my money because it was booked through a third party.

It was pleasant and not noisy.

The location, and the fact that it was clean and easy to find. For the amount charged it had no sofa in the room. It needs to be updated, old electrical plugs , etc. I was amazed that there was no butter at the breakfast. I arrived when it opened, and I was told that they ran out of butter. Really? That should never happen.

Also this morning they had only Fried Potatoes for me being a Vegetarian and had to make a special request to check with the Kitchen and finally got a burger bun with eggs. Loved the breakfast room and the hard working staff that runs it very well. Clean, great selection of foods and the presentation is excellent. Convenient, well-lit parking areas and security of entryways contributed to feeling very safe. Difficult to regulate the Heating/Cooling controls. We stayed over a holiday period, so we expected restricted housekeeping and supplies, but absolutely nothing was done to our room for us over a four night stay.

We’ve stayed here several times but this time was bad. We never got maid service; we were there 4 days! The toilet flushed occasionally. Ran out of toilet paper and had to go to the front desk for fresh towels. Never again!

Friendly and warm staff, an excellent breakfast, comfortable beds. The facility is pretty standard. Unfortunately we had a group of partiers in the next room beginning at midnight. I know this is not the fault of the hotel and the front desk was responsive when I finally called them to complain. If you are booking this hotel I would recommend asking for a room on the opposite side of Interstate 50 and not right across from the open balcony on the second floor, both for a quieter room experience.

Shower didn’t have hair conditioner, bath soap seemed to be watered down. Maid service was every other day and because it was the weekend we didn’t have service for four days. Overall hotel was nice and clean.

Thank you for being so courteous and making us feel like we mattered.

We usually stay at the one in Elk grove but this one was closer to the church that we were attending a funeral at. First off when I searched hotels that had a hot tub this one came up. When we got there we came to find out that they got rid of the hot tub. So after a cold plunge in the pool we went to take a shower. The shower drain was super plugged so our feet were bathing in dirty shower water. We woke up the next morning only to find out the waffle maker was broken so cereal it was. Before we left I mentioned the shower drain and they fixed it while we were gone. When we got back a huge clump of hair and whatever else they got out of the drain was just sitting in the toilet. So gross and can't that plug up a toilet too? Maybe use the garbage and/or don't leave it for your guests to see and flush themselves. then somehow we got locked out of our bathroom. Could have been our daughter but not likely. Anyway, next time we will most likely just stay at a different hotel in the area or go back to the Fairfield inn in Elk Grove. But this hotel was quiet and the staff was nice. Especially Jennifer. She got us more towels when we needed it and kept the place clean and was very friendly and welcoming.

Bed accommodations were firm yet soft and comfortable, with just right amount of furniture for comfort (couch, desk, available drawer space, etc.). Bed accommodations were firm yet soft and comfortable, with just right amount of furniture for comfort (couch, desk, available drawer space, etc.). Very nice hotel, very clean, check in very quick with competent and friendly people, ready to help. Environment calm and safe, parking free. Never been disappointed with Fairfield Inn hotel.

This property was a great and affordable location putting us in an area that was close to the things that we had gone to Sacramento to see. There was a ton of parking, the staff were super friendly, the room was spacious, and the shower had great hot water pressure.

We just stayed one night,but it was everything we needed. We checked out before the continental breakfast started, but the gentleman and lady working early Sunday morning allowed us to get fresh coffee and pastries for the road. Thank you.

Low end Marriott, ok for the area. Not a business hotel. Staff is nice and polite, clean but a little dated.

I stay there at least 60-70 nights per year for work.

It was the breakfast staff that most clearly exemplified what we want when staying at a hotel: in this case they were Gracious, friendly, and efficient. The breakfast buffet had clearly taken a hit (we’d-seen guests at the elevator with multiple plates piled high with food). The sole employee working the buffet (Christina) was simply overwhelmed…. I was tempted to offer my help….. then a member of housekeeping staff (Darlene) jumped in to help. Both stayed friendly and responsive to questions and requests while restocking everything as fast as they could. My 40 year career has made me sensitive to good & bad customer service — and this effort was a master class in keeping the customers happy while fixing a problem. That’s why I know these staff members’ names — they deserve to know that they are one of the main reasons we will look for a Fairfield hotel whenever we travel.

We checked in and went up to our room to find that it was occupied. Luckily we walked into the room to find the luggage, clothes and ice chest of the occupant and not the people. We went back to the front desk and they were shocked and acted like they just couldn’t believe it. They sent a person to the room to confirm it and said they needed to find who was in the room as they had no idea. Not a wat to make us feel safe or comfortable from the start.

The room was fabulous! Great design layout with living area plus bedroom. Will only seek out this facilities going forward! GREAT VALUE!!

Clean, Convenient, and Comfortable - what more can you ask for?! A hearty, hot breakfast ready to wake you up, along with spacious rooms, a vibrant communal lounge, in addition to a courteous & personable staff! Shoutout to Jorge, at the front desk, for being very hospitable during our late check-in! We had a slight snafu with the room accommodations, but Jorge had cleared it up & even brought us extra blankets, duvets, and pillows!

We had a great two-night stay. Everything about the hotel was clean and comfortable. The breakfast had lots of options. The hotel is right off the freeway, so convenient for traveling 10 miles to Sacramento.

We stay here every time we are in the area and the Fairfield Inn never ceases to be just what we need. This trip we were celebrating our grandsons 10 birthday and he was so happy with the accommodations. Keep up the good work.

Nice location! Very clean! Staff was very friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed our stay at the breakfast. Well-stocked fitness center with machines and weights. Bar on site in lobby. Bathroom could use some updating but serviceable.

Great stay. We have stayed here before and loved it. Unfortunately, the sofa bed we had this time was too lumpy according to my daughters, you could feel the springs in it and uncomfortable to sleep in. Overall the room and hotel is always clean! Love the laundry room on site and gym.

Check in was easy. The continental breakfast was delicious. The three hot options were different over the two days we stayed. The first day options were delicious - breakfast empanada, bacon, scrambled eggs. Full oatmeal topping bar was neat, as well as the waffle maker and fresh fruit options. The gym was clean and the availability of machines / weights when I went was great. Parking was easy, even on a full capacity evening as it was during my late check in. Only complaint was blood/yellow spot stains in the sheets that were discovered randomly. Sheets appeared washed, stains were just present.

We were greeted with a no reservation available under our name or confirmation number and was told that they cannot do anything about it and was told to contact Expedia. We were told initially that there were no more rooms available. We told the receptionist/desk clerk to talk to the manager since we were elderly couple and had made the reservations weeks ago. We waited for about 45 minutes before the receptionist came back and said they were able to accomodate us. We were not given the room we reserved, which is a room with King side bed and a sofa bed. So, we were disappointed mainly due to not being given the room we reserved.

Check in was a breeze, got up to our room and it was clean, smelled good, and the bed was so comfortable. Will definitely stay here again!

We arrived early and they let us check in early, which was really nice. The staff was awesome. The breakfast was really good and lots to choose from the little bar was cute and the drinks were good. The rooms were clean one of our rooms. The sink was clogged and they were there within five minutes to fix it very nice and polite and attentive. Would stay every time I was there.

Staff were nice. Only con of stay, was body soap and conditioner were empty. By the time we found out it was late at night. Probably willing to stay again.

We booked an accessible room with roll in shower. Bathroom was large accomodating a rollater walker. Overall the hotel allowed for easy accesibility, very clean, employees were exceptional, providing excellent customer service. Appreciate breakfast included. It is obviously a well managed hotel. The room was spacious. Great breakfast each morning. It was awesome having a gym in the hotel. The pool was drained (probably because it was November) so i didn't get to experience that. The hotel was very close to family, making it a great location for us. Not a whole lot within walking distance of the hotel, though.

Convenient location in the heart of Rancho Cordova! Spacious (free) parking lot in a safe and secure neighborhood, and easy access from I-50 makes this place a great choice for accommodations! The hot breakfast is to-die for! From fresh-baked bread and pastries, to a heaping fresh bowl of oatmeal - including hot breakfast items that vary day-to-day, as well as cereal, different varieties of milk, and fresh fruit readily available! Amenities include an exercise room, as well as a pool and hot tub (that's currently under renovations). Make sure to present your Marriott Bonvoy account to avail those perks you might not know that you have! Friendly concierge awaits you at their front desk as well!
