Very nice hotels today, I slept very well. Their pillows could be firmer and so you will need 23 pillows to be comfortable. I also have a room with the bathtub that was very comfortable. However, I asked for bath soaks and they receive them. The front desk agents appeared to be confused by this and stated that they did not have any and they were never delivered. However, there was a small bag of bath salts in the bath.”

I will never stay anywhere else in Raleigh other than The Renaissance.

Wonderful front desk staff. Upon check in my bank had locked my card thinking I may have a fraudulent charge. The front desk staff was very patient and helpful. Room was huge! I had a small concern which was addressed immediately and staff gave me points on my loyalty card. I didn't ask for anything they immediately took care of the concern. Bar closes at 11 pm on weekdays....but market was open.

Staff were great. Hotel was nice but there were loud drunks in the hallways all night. Made sure to get a room for the wife with a tub and the tub wouldn’t hold water. Finally the parking is under the hotel and it is terrible. If you follow the signs you will just drive in circles all day

Very late check-in - 1 1/2 hours after the check in time we were given.

Room was a little stuffy overnight. The hotel charges a $10 fee to connect to wifi too...so we didnt. We used Valet parking and they make you pay on an app. Why cant people.pay cash for valet parking with the person working? Room was nice and we felt safe there. We just felt nickle-and-dimed at a very popular hotel.

Restaurant and room service were delicious. Service was good here. Biggest issue is room feels so old and outdated and not well thought out and put together along with lots of stains on carpets in hallway and in rooms.

Fabulous property in the heart of North Hills! Everyone there was SO NICE and eager to help in any way. Everything is CLEAN and very nicely appointed. The breakfast and bar were great with exceptional service at every turn. Parking was FREE in the garage below and easy to find. LOVE this property, definitely recommend!

Ice machine outside room made a lot of noise all night

The staff was amazing and loved the food. But the room was very congested and not much ventilation. I have bad allergies and I was sneezing and sniffling a lot. I left the hotel early due to this. Other than that it was good.

Fantastic location, free parking, comfy rooms. Only drawback, very few charging stations if you own an electric car that is not a Tesla. And the machine are very very slow to charge.

Rooms are a bit tattered and refreshment would be much appreciated. We paid for premium accommodation by booming Renaissance, however, our stay was not as expected. Carpet, bathrooms, and room was worn and in need of updating.

Well laid out and easy navigation. Front desk staff was wonderful. Easy free parking and access to hotel. Will definitely stay again when visiting a friend who lives within walking distance.

The room didn’t blow me away at this price point.

Right in the middle of North Hills means lots of shopping and restaurants right outside the hotel. Front desk staff were excellent. Towels are scratchy, only one hook and one short towel bar in bathroom and our keurig didn’t work but there was coffee in the lobby in morning.

I absolutely loved this hotel because of how it was right in the center of the North Hills Shopping Center. It was also beautiful inside and very well kept. My only complaint is that there was no fitness room, but it’s not a necessity just a nice to have.

However, anytime I use hotels.com there is an issue. No matter how nice the hotel, I always get a room that feels less than. And if something goes wrong and you book through a third party, the hotel can’t do much. For example, house keeping never turned off the alarm in our room and it woke us up at 6am. Then at 9 am, house keeping just full on came into our room, despite the do not enter door knob sign. I did mention it to the front desk and they said they’d give me 3,000 points, but that’s 18 dollars…but they never did add the points. I plan to contact hotels.com customer service, but I don’t have much hope! The hotel was in a fancy to us area. Beds were comfortable and rooms were clean. The air conditioner was very loud and road noise was also loud, so I’d request a room not on the highway side. All in all, I’d stay here again, but would not book through hotels.com.

I had a room at the end of the hall above the roof w/HVAC units and right beside the interstate. I'm pretty sure the entire back of the hotel is on the interstate. It was VERY loud. Really hard to sleep, bathroom smelled like mold. Food at the Italian restaurant connected to the hotel was 2 stars at best. I didn't stay long enough to check out the amenities. Nice location

The hotel is located in a very nice area with a lot of options for shopping - all price points - dining and entertainment. Parking in the lower deck vs. valet parking is a plus because you can park and take the elevator up; no hotel key needed! Be sure to ask for the North Hills view side of the hotel because it is prettier than the interstate side. Breakfast was good for the $20/pp rate.

The front desk staff were super helpful, especially Emily. I had to call down at 1:45 am because the room next to me was playing music so loudly it woke me up. The front desk promptly took care of the issue and it was resolved effectively. The breakfast buffet was well stocked. Shopping and dining nearby was excellent. Super convenient to walk around and get fresh air. Target is also close by if you need any supplies. There is ample parking in the attached garage, as well as valet if needed. Overall, the stay was lovely and I would go back.

So hot all night. Told staff next morning not even an apology. Will not be back.

Couldn’t sleep past 6am, people slamming doors, talking loud, you can hear everything outside. I wouldn’t choose this hotel again for my stay.

The hotel said you all didnt book my room correct and when i arrived they didnt have a room. They then gave me a downgraded room and when i went to pay for the incidental deposit they recharged me the full price of the room again $317 extra an then tells me they issued a refund and its up to my bank when the money returns back to my card. This was a horrible experience!

Terrible service and area

The staff were very friendly. I felt the amenities in the room were basic. The refrigerator did not work. Or was working but not cooling well. I don’t think I’d stay there again. I think the price is attributed to the location rather than the quality itself.

We were very disappointed with our stay. We were traveling for our anniversary and were referred to this hotel. Issue #1. The elevator from the parking deck was out with no sign to indicate this. After a night on the town, we returned to the hotel and had to walk around to the front of the hotel with luggage in tow from the parking deck in the cold at midnight. We complained to the front desk & he casually advised the elevator was down. I explained there was no sign posted which was so upsetting. Issue #2 When we get to the room the heat in our room was out and only blowing cool air. The maintenance guy came to check it and it resulted in us having to pack up and move to another room after midnight. Issue #3. We had to call to the front desk because our room had no wash clothes only hand towels and towels. Overall this hotel is too pricey to deliver this mediocrity. I doubt I will be returning and will certainly share my experience.

Costumer service was excellent. Room was very cozy and clean. The front desk had made a mistake on our room number but after realizing it, they gave us a complimentary breakfast for there mistake, which was super nice of them! Would definitely stay here again and recommend to others!

My heater would not work, reported it once, they fixed it and it went out again around 3am and it was 22 degrees outside. The maintenance man said they have not been on all year. Recommend they run and fix units prior to the upcoming cold season, as in be proactive rather than reactive

Small issue at check-in, my website and yours didn't communicate well, however it was fixed in a few minutes. All amenities explained, enjoyed the 10th floor privacy and valet parking! The location is awesome, everything in North Hills shopping is a short walk away, great food places, great shopping, felt safe!!

We have stayed before and enjoy the location being convenient to shopping, but this time we tried the new restaurant and were happily surprised. Leo’s has fantastic Italian food and the waitstaff are outstanding!

We stayed one night for my husband birthday and the lights were off at 7 in the morning and we didn’t have any hot water. We called the front desk and we were told that Duke energy was going to fix it. We did a late check out at 1pm and the problem was never fixed. The staff were very nice but having no lights or power for majority of our stay was a bummer. I could apply my make up and he could shave for our dinner reservation.

We really enjoyed our one night stay here. Staff was friendly, and hotel was clean and easy to navigate. Very short Uber ride to downtown and located in a very walkable area. Rooms were decorated simply but modern, and had a very cozy feel. Beds were comfortable. No complaints! ☺ would definitely recommend.

Hotel staff was very informative

I stayed 2 nights for an R&R getaway, and unfortunately it wasn't very relaxing. For such a highly regarded, and pricey, hotel, the accommodations were average and I had many issues with my room. First, the hotel backs up to a major Raleigh highway. I could hear road noise, especially with loud sports cars and after-market mufflers, at all hours even from the 7th floor. Second, my toilet kept running about every 20 minutes. This woke me up several times in the middle of the night and I eventually turned the knob to cut off water supply to it while I slept. Third, my in-room fridge was barely cold with no visible knob to lower the temp. Any leftovers from nights out were not kept cold enough for me to feel sure they didn't go bad. None of this was worth $230/night. And no, I never called down to complain because I had no interest in switching rooms or going through that trouble.

I booked through Expedia and requested 2 adjoining rooms or 2 rooms next to each other. I called the morning of my arrival to confirm this request and also request a crib. The gentleman I spoke with let me know I would receive a call back. I never heard back so called at 2pm asking if the rooms would be ready. I waited in the hotel lobby with my 4 young kids until check in at 4, at which time only one room was ready. My next room was ready after we went to dinner around 7 but no one called to let me know. I believe they are very short staffed. The valet was excellent and very friendly and professional.

I loved the food, the people, the convenience of the kitchen on the top floor and even the TV in the mirror. The beds could’ve been more comfortable but all in all an enjoyable stay.

The AC seem to not work for me maybe 72° max is the lowest we can get the room to be at. Hotel was fully blocked so they came out to another room. He had to park under a garage which was pretty far from the hotel so I decided to valet. The staff was amazing.

The property is in a great location at North Hills in an area called Mid-town Raleigh. Great restaurants, shopping, movie theater, and many one of kind shops. It was great for me with Tesla Superchargers just outside the garage. We’ll stay there again when we return to Raleigh, NC

From the moment I arrived, I was greeted by the friendliest staff! Cye and the entire team were helpful and knowledgeable and always seemed interested in helping me enjoy my time here. The room and property were clean and well maintained. I enjoyed using the gym next door and really had fun shopping and dinning… there were so many excellent choices! I will definitely return to this location next time I visit the Raleigh Durham area.

The checkin process was smooth. I got there a little early and my room was ready. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. I had lunch at the hotel’s restaurant and it was amazing. The bartender was nice enough to make me a mocktail (they aren’t on the menu), which was amazing. My room was clean. I thought the pillows were a so soft, which is my only complaint. I had the buffet breakfast which was really good. Also, they had turkey sausage which was a plus. Restaurants were in walking distance. I would stay at this hotel again.
