Facility and rooms are very clean and pleasant. The food from the restaurant was delicious. Only not so positive thing was a staff member entered my room without knocking or checking to make sure the room was empty.

I love this property. I love my room. I was able to upgrade to a higher floor without any additional charges. I will definitely be coming back to this Marriott in Raleigh for my staycation again the front desk concierge’s were all very nice including the lady that I had.

I had a wonderful stay at a beautiful hotel in downtown Raleigh. The location is perfect—there always seems to be something happening nearby, which makes the atmosphere lively and exciting. During my stay, I even got to witness a wedding, which added a special touch to the experience. The highlight for me was definitely the breakfast buffet—it was a solid 10/10 with plenty of delicious options to choose from. Overall, a fantastic stay, and I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area!

The property was nice overall but one of the main reasons I picked this property was the hot tub and upon arriving we were told hot tub was out of service this was a major disappointment. The beds were comfortable and location was great.

There were not enough staff available at check in. There was a super long wait. This is not bad on the folks checking us in.... they were working very hard. They were just overwhelmed. Management should have staffed the front desk better

The hotel was good but one of the reasons I picked this hotel was for the indoor pool and hot tub. The pool was great but the jets for the hot tub were not working the 2 days/nights that I stayed there which was very disappointing. Everything else was fine and the staff was great.

They don’t answer messages on the Expedia app or the phone. Total nightmare. Hire more people to communicate with your guests!! Totally ridiculous!!! Otherwise all was good but Lordie….

Very nice room and the hotel is beautiful. We had an event at the convention center so the location was so convenient. There are a decent number of restaurants within wlking distnce and parking was easy in the garage. The breakfast buffet wasn't cheap but it was convenient, delicious and had a good variety.

Convenient to our destination of the Lincoln theater. House keeping came in the room next door about 730 or so in the morning and sounded like they did a complete remodel of the room. Banging of trash cans and dropping off brooms. Glad my wife is a sound sleeper.

The staff was very helpful. The room was very clean and comfortable. It was easy for us to attend an event at The Raleigh Convention Center.

I liked the size of the rooms because I feel it helped control the desired temperature. I liked being on the 12th floor, just the elevation and to look out the windows. Great viewing, scenery. Nice fitness center. We had a double queen bedroom, and one of the beds should be replaced. The bed with the mattress next to the window popped and felt weird to my roommate. The room with the pool was very hot and stuffy, and the water was very warm too. We wanted to swim but it appeared like it would be too much like work versus relaxing and enjoying. Maybe an industrial fan could help, idk. But the place is nice, really nice.

I reserved and paid for 2 nights in a room with a king size bed. When I checked in late the first evening I was given a conference room with a foldout couch to sleep on. When went back to complain, I was told that I was assigned to that room and that no other room was available. Then, the night manager came out and told me that if I accepted that room I would be moved to another room for the next night and that I would receive a “substantial refund “. Still waiting on that refund. The first night was miserable. The mattress was about 4 inches thick and I could feel the metal frame underneath it. That will certainly be my last stay at that hotel.

I really loved the pool—it was my favorite part of the stay. The property was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and the staff was polite and helpful throughout my visit. There was nothing I didn’t like. Everything met and exceeded my expectations.

The room was small. The water never got hot just warm. Toilet was hard to flush. No sugar at coffee station in room or cups for coffee or tea in the room. Tv didnt work properly. Just 3 or 4 stations and they played the same shows over n over., we let the front desk know and they replied it was bc of rain. We stayed 3 nights and it was every day. Hot tub was not working properly and had floaties and debri init all weekend. We purchased a with breakfast option and it wasnt included. 27 dollars per day. Also had to pay for parking which wasnt revealed til we got there. Over all the price and location and service was not what i expected from a Marriott. We will not be stay there again.

The room was very clean and cozy and the window view was so relaxing (i was on the 9th floor). i really enjoyed my overall stay! This will be my choice everytime when i visit the city :)

I truly appreciated the room's interior design, the see-through glass shower, the wall art, the desk design, and the light behind the TV, which was truly remarkable. The bed is modern as well, and I was super happy about the updated TV with Netflix. Checking in was brief, and the staff were kind.

Visited Raleigh for a concert. The hotel was a perfect location and all I could have asked for my overnight trip. Honestly, I had such a great experience (and the water pressure was amazing), I wish I could have stayed an extra night.

Our stay at the Marriott was very nice. We was there for a concert and the location to everything was so convenient! They have a nice restaurant and Starbucks in the hotel but also plenty of food locations in walking distance. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. Very quiet in the evening which was nice. The staff was really friendly and valet parking is a nice touch. There was mix up with valet and them misplacing my car but they where very apologetic and even credited the valet back to me for the inconvenience which was nice. We only stayed one night but overall I will definitely stay at this location again if I need to stay in Raleigh

Ideal place to say if going to a concert at Red Hat Amphitheatre. Zero complaints and will stay here again.

The hotel is great. The parking is very hectic. If you don't want valet parking for the extra charge the parking staff outside the entrance is very dismissive towards you. You have to find parking and then lug all your items from the car to hotel unless you want to give your keys to the valet to hold even though you don't want valet parking. The unloading at the entrance could be managed better so there is not a pile up of cars that can't move.

A good stay. All was as expected. Room was updated and clean. Location was convenient. Staff were friendly. Only issue was we were given a room that had the option to be an adjoining room and we could hear just about everything that went on next door.

Amazing as always, stayed from Wednesday to Sunday for annual SAFRE conference and Marriott is always friendly and helpful cannot say enough good things. I will always recommend you stay here for this time of year.

The staff had very conflicting information on self parking. The beds were not comfortable, pillows very flat. The shower drain was almost completely clogged. One quick shower had you standing in at least ankle deep water, we had two adults and two children so even worse. These are $60/night hotel issues, not $200+/night hotel issues. We feel robbed.

The room was nice. The common areas (restaurant, lobby, bar) are outdated and in need of a refresh.

This was wonderful property. The staff were kind and helpful. The restaurant was delicious. I had two small grandchildren with me and everyone treated them nice. We visited the gym and the pool both were clean. It was very close to downtown near the museums. We went to visit. I also enjoyed the concierge parking. I’ll be back there.

Lobby and rooms were BEAUTIFUL! Everyone at the front desk was helpful and pleasant even though they were overwhelmed being sold out and trying to cater to multiple guest needs. I was a bit leary staying in downtown Raleigh again after a bad experience last month with The Residence Inn 616 Salisbury Street down town. I’m glad we decided on the Raleigh Marriott Center. 5 STARS! I will definitely stay there again.

The hotel is well appointed and is in a great location, in the heart of downtown Raleigh. We could easily walk to places like Morgan Street Food Hall and the Videri Chocolate Factory. The only drawback was the front desk staff. Something was wrong with the computer and check-in took a while. Bothe the front desk clerk and her manager weren’t rude but they seemed a bit hapless. We had to go back down to run the credit card one more time. Also, when I called to ask when the construction noise in a nearby room would stop, the same clerk said she didn’t know because mine was the first complaint she was receiving about it. She said she would find out and call me back, but she never did.

Quick stay (one night). Great and convenient location.

Great downtown location within walking distance to the convention center. We came from out of town and stayed there to attend a concert. The hotel was clean, updated and the lobby was buzzing with energy. A few other pluses include - One, we valet parked and avoided any potential traffic/parking issues during our stay. Two, while the hotel has a restaurant, there are plenty of good restaurants within walking distance. Three, the staff was very courteous and helpful. Four, the location put us in the mix of local culture events happening in the area just outside the hotel. I would definitely stay there again.

I like the location and valet parking. The plumbing in room was terrible, the shower would not drain, and the sink kept spitting out black goop. In addition, the safe would not open and required staff to fix it. The pool was lovely. Food at bar on Friday took forever to receive. Service was a little better on Saturday, morning buffet was not warm enough for the meats served and resulted in illness after consuming on Saturday. Will continue to stay there due to convenience but will eat elsewhere.

The property was the perfect location for our event on Fayetteville St. My partner and I were able to walk to the event and back to the hotel with ease even with the road blocked off. The valet service was awesome and the staff were friendly upon arrival. The room was spacious and conveniently located. The sink struggled to drain, but it was just slow. The bed was comfortable, too. The onsite restaurant served delicious breakfast. The only complaint I had was that the pool area was a little chaotic with kids not being watched. It was also really stuffy in there. Overall, it was a great place to stay and the convenience was helpful. I’d definitely return!

While staying in the room was enjoyable, hearing your neighbors at 2am through the walls as if they are in the room with you was not. I would suggest asking people about having rooms that have adjoined doors. Staff helped remediate the issue with the very rude guests next door, but I would have preferred not to have dealt with it at all.

Very nice hotel.

I chose the location in order to attend my niece's graduation at the Raleigh Convention Center, which was right across the street. The check-in was quick, parking was easy and the room was extremely spacious and clean. I especially loved the little touches, like the pillow spray and coffee condiments. The Starbucks in the lobby is very convenient too. I would definitely stay in this location again!

The people there are great. You can always tell a property that has great leadership because that facility has great staff and service. Highly recommend place to stay.

Pool & hot tub are indoors and open late…right next to gym. Great location and close to everything. Staff was helpful. Room super comfy. Big TV. Great view of city from window. Nightlife active but quiet in room! Will be back!

We felt very welcome and the hotel allowed us to check out an hour later! The pool was a relaxing setting. We also loved the ability to use valet and everything we did was in walking distance.

Amazing

I was very disappointed with the stay at this property. We did not find out the pool was closed until we were going to go in it on Friday night. Nothing posted on website or mentioned at check in, our room was not cleaned one day and when we asked for towels and coffee with coffee cups we did not get a full set of towels and received coffee filters with wine glasses and no creams/sugar. Plus one bed was so saggy and uncomfortable it was a good thing we had a room with two beds and able to sleep. No refund for inconvenience because I booked through expedia. I am hoping expedia can refund some fees otherwise I will think twice before using expedia or the Marriott again! Not happy with situation!

Check in was quick and easy with 10/10 service. Hotel is amazing, room big and comfortable. All the amenities you could ever wish for. Great place to stay.

Points for good were not added

I was able to do a pre check in the day before and requested an early check in which we were able to do. The location is great as it is within walking distance to good restaurants and shopping. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. We had no issues during our stay and would definitely stay here again.

The coffee maker was missing a piece, so no coffee. The room was average.

Close to convention center. We stayed for basketball tournament and didn’t have to drive anywhere

Other than that everything was great. The bed was clean and comfortable. The shower had great water pressure. The amenities were all there. Recommended.

Nice facility

It was clean and nice. A lot of coffee options. Parking was pricy if you leave and come back a lot.

Good location

One minor issue that we had on our floor (10th floor) was with the vending machines. The card reader on the drink machine stopped working. It was able to read my debit card, accept payment, and dispense a bottle of water with no problems. When I swiped my card a second time the card reader stopped working. It would not take my card as payment nor would it take my cash nor my change when I tried paying with change. We had to go to a different floor (at midnight) to purchase a second bottle of water. Like I said that was just a minor issue. Everything else was perfect. Very nice hotel, clean, new up to date furniture and lighting, ample outlets for charging electronics, and a friendly staff. I would have given this a 10/10 if they would have had a comfortable bed to sleep in. After having to lie in the most uncomfortable and extremely hard bed all night

Hotel was clean and modern. Lobby, common areas, and rooms were well-appointed and clean. Only suggestion I have would be to upgrade the mattresses and the pillows. Other than that, it was a great stay!
