The manager sincerely strives in providing a comfortable and value-oriented stay. The free simple breakfast is nice. Several good restaurants are within an easy walking distance, and many more are only a short drive away. The large desk allowed me to work from the room.

Other than that, unfortunately everything else was very dissapointing. Yes, I know this is a basic hotel. But everything seemed poor maintenance. 1. The toilet was dirty. It had stain on it, we checked in late and there was no phone to call front desk, so I cleaned it myself n then the flush wasn't working properly too. Since it was a one night stay, we made do with it. It was a pain, flushing few times after every use. The toilet itself looked so dirty overall. I didn't shower as the towels looked bad too. 2. The breakfast area was so tiny. Only one table for maybe 4 people to sit. Ok maybe the idea is grab and go. But atleast have the bread or butter stocked up. There was just 2 slices of bread and 3 small butter and jam sticks. It looked pathetic. There was waffle and coffee machine but that's it. Nothing else. 3. This place is definitely not for a family to put up for even a one night stay. I've stayed in basic hotels for one night stays and never had complaint, but this place was so bad. 4. The room had bad flooring, the vinyl was already broken and coming off. The room we booked was smoking room by accident. But when the front staff told me I should I have selected for non smoking with kids, I agreed I made a blunder but thought for just one night it should be ok. I ventilated the room and sprayed the air refresher but the bedding had the stench and holes. No proper care for their room overall.

One of the beds wasn't entirely clean and the floors were dirty, this was an emergency pick because of scheduling issues with the hotel.

The desk had something sticky all over it. You could see something smeared that wasn’t cleaned up well. The floor was dirty and the room smelled like cigarette smoke in a nonsmoking room. I went to the front desk and complained about the smoke smell and he brushed me off and said it was coming from outside the room???? We left to go out and came back late. That’s when we realized how sticky things were. When we walked around the room before getting into bed, we had to dust our feet off because the floor was so dirty!!! The next morning I told the manager on duty and he didn’t care. He brushed me off. Very disappointing. Reviews made it sound like this would be a decent place to stay but it isn’t.

The room had a few details of cleaning that could have been better. The extra charge at time of reservation should be added at time of not at arrival it was an unexpected charge although it's returned immediately at checkout it wasn't expected.

Overall it was okay. Good for a night. Couldn't sleep though due to people yelling and arguing and listening to music at 3am what sounded like directly outside of my room. Some lights didn't work. Staff was not very attentive at all. Waited a while each time I needed help because no one was there.

Needs upgrades. Cigarettes burns in bedding on both beds. Changed rooms 3 times due to broken lock, then light wouldn't turn on.

Our room had a constant hum going at all times. We noted it with the manager when he came to hook up the tv for us. He thought it was the tv next door but it wasn’t. It was like a wind tunnel in the ceiling. Too noisy for my husband.

One of the worst hotels I've ever stayed in, rude CSR, dirty, nasty rooms - mold, floorboards coming up, rust, dirty bedding, just horrible.

Room was nice. But the staff that was working the day of my check out scammed me out of money. The day earlier I had spoken to the girl working about a late check out. She said that I could stay until 1:00 pm without an additional charge. The next morning I found out that I needed additional time because my client would not need me until later. I went and asked the guy working about staying a little later and he told me that for an extra $30 I could stay until 5:00 pm. I tripled verified with him that I would be good until 5. He said “yes”. About an hour or so later this same guy proceeded to tell me I need to go by 1:30. He said that to stay until 5, I would need to pay for another night. I had just paid him $30 to stay until 5 because he told me I could. But proceeded to kick me out. He never refunded me my $30. A scam artist!!!!

There is not much to say. It is a budget motel. It is close to RDU, and the location is quiet. Breakfast was ok. If anything, I would suggest that they speed up the check in process. The bed was comfortable.

Only place I could find for a decent price

The staff was fantastic and responsive but the property is very dated. Everything is patched or missing or shabby. Everything worked, but the toilet moved when you sat down, the tub had no stopper, the outlet didn't work or there weren't enough to have the lamp, fridge and microwave all plugged in at once. I'd stay again in a pinch.

This property had roaches and I also have pictures. They don’t treat there guests as if they are welcomed . Even someone comes to try and even break in your room or you are in danger they do not care if that is the case . Mike was very rude and I will not be going back again and I’ve stayed at many rooms . They were all so nice but this room employees were rude and like they were off of the streets somewhere . I will also be calling corporate to show videos and pictures of how nasty and unprofessional they are .

At least there were no bugs or roaches. The toilet needed to be bolted to the floor, the toilet paper roller was coming off the wall, one towel I used left lint all over me. A room next to mine had the TV on all night and it was still on when I left. I saw a homeless lady with a dog on the street when I drived up

The staff here are really great! Very nice. They carry excellent conversation. Room was clean. Sheets were clean and so were the towels. Before I ever put my belongings into the room, I always do a “bug” check. I pull back sheets, pillowcases, and mattresses. There were NO BUGS! came here for an event. Excellent place. I do recommend. It’s also very convenient for dining and shopping (all walking distance)

The bathroom light didnt have a lightbulb at all and the toilet didnt flush well but the shower worked well. The tv had lots of channels and the wifi was pretty strong but there were like no outlets. The place is still rundown though and i feel like i paid a bit much. But i chose a smoking room which was cool, one of the only hotels to still have those

The customer service of the staff was good. Breakfast options could be better. I'll suggest muffins and fruit. The bed slept well.

The front desk manager was exceptionally nice and friendly, and the surrounding area of the property was charming with a few restaurants within walking distance, as well as a hair salon. The room itself was spacious, but it was somewhat run-down and could benefit from a deep cleaning. The biggest issue was the noise from neighboring rooms, as I could hear conversations all night. For a one-night stay, the price might be considered high given these factors.

Check in clerk was rude, privacy curtains were torn and had to be rigged to stay closed. The faucet in both the sink and the tub were hanging loose and the tub and shower walls had mold. The area was very shady and the hallways reeked of Marijuana.

The room smelled of marijuana smoke when I was in the room. It was quiet, it was clean. But the smell of the smoke was bad. It was an OK stay.

The new room had no microwave; he brought 1 2 days later. The A/C worked- kind of- all the bed sheets were moist- felt cold and clammy. Faucet was loose. No soap dish/tray. No cold water; barely cool at best. Toilet was in the shower, which didn't drain; when you go to the bathroom your left foot will be in water. Just terrible- would be embarrassed to be manager/owner. Will be asking for a partial refund- definitely not a usable hotel room.

Our stay was quite nice. We had stayed there the week before for one night. The room we had the week before was much nicer as I think it had been recently remodeled. The room this time could use some redoing as the floor tile was peeling but everything else was ok. There was no iron but when I requested one, the clerk brought one to my room in just a few minutes.

Lets start off with, the rooms itself were horrible. They were dirty, the curtains and bed comforter, and tub was absolutely filthy. The AC was blowing hot air on one of the hottest weeks in NC and when I asked the owner to change my room he flat out told me no, he will not change my room and I just had to deal with it. Not to mention how extremely rude he was to begin with when we first checked in. Unfortunately for us, the booking was non-refundable so we had to settle for this slum place. About a few hours after my check-in and I had some time to settle, I get a knock on my door.. its the owner, kicking me and my kids out because he assumed there was more than 2adults and 2kids checking in (my MIL and Nephews was dropping me and my family off, stayed for a bit and then left). I cannot begin to fathum how horrible this experience was. Dont ever book with these people! They don’t deserve our business!

Looking for comfortable place to stay this is the place, if you need Wi-Fi go somewhere else. 5 megabits per second Wi-Fi is equivalent to going back in time 10 years. And it drops out so frequently that you can't even use it.

Terrible wall spackle jobs to cover old damage, boards basically nailed up and spackled. Nothing worked in room. Very noisy outside room with staff knocking and making tons of noise. Would not stay again.

We had stayed at this hotel before when it was under a different name and had not been rennovated. It is a very nice, quiet place to stay and now with updated facilities.

We were not informed of a $60 cash deposit on arrival until we got there. Had to use a shady looking atm to get the deposit. We asked for a non smoking room but I’m afraid that might not exist here. We got headaches from the smell of cigarette. The curtains smell bad of cigarettes. There were dirty marks all over walls. Toilet ran, had to flush multiple times to get it to stop running. Refrigerated has too much condensation. WiFi didn’t work on laptop, online on phones. And we tested elsewhere afterwards and it wasn’t the laptop, if was the wifi not working on a laptop period. You can hear through the walls the entire time, so it was loud through the night. Was a cheap stay, for sure.

I was looking for cheap and clean and this place was about as close as I could find to those two requirements.. It wasn’t the least expensive place I could find, but it was close enough. It was also not the cleanest, but it wasn’t horrible. The room initially had an unpleasant smell that. Never was able to identify, but my nose eventually became numb to it.

It took some time to get checked in. Twice I was confronted in the parking lot by strangers. The latch locks were missing. The bed covers had cigarette burns, as did the wood furniture. Floor tiles were broken, toilet didn't want to flush, faucett to the sink was loose. I didn't feel safe there.

I love this hotel very well kept and clean

The sheets were clean and beds comfortable enough. The floors were vinyl, I prefer that to carpet. The light in shower was so dim. The floors are very uneven and have many dips. The hot water in the bathroom sink took ages to warm up. The breakfast was minimal.

I dont stay in snythinh less than a 7. This is a solid 7. Clean. Comfortable. For a quick pitstop its prrfect for the right price. There is a $60 deposit taken though. Just fyi. Super nice night staff. Breakfast is sparce. But love those waffles.

They offered slices of bread to toast but no butter or jelly. No milk the 1st day for the cereal. He had to turn on the orange juice machine after we asked if it was available! We were able to make a waffle and there were some granola bars! Staff not friendly, the woman made us feel like she was doing us a favor. Did not feel safe at night, to many shady individuals lurking and yelling!

Vinyl floor boards torn up. Most plugs did not work. Wifi very slow. Room smelled like smoke. Residents and guests of hotel walking and talking loudly in front of room at all hours. Breakfast was lame and almost no existent. After first night of 2 night trip I asked if they could have the room clean by 1:30. He insisted I already should have checked out. I showed my receipt and my online payment to them for 2 nights. He was rude and indignant. This small family hotel is in a decent area but the owning family is in way over their head. Avoid this place at all costs. I did not feel safe either night.

This is an extremely run down motel.

Room was reserved for 3 people, for two nights. There were only two hand towels, no wash cloths or bath towels! Only one soap/ shampoo. No cups, or ice bucket. When I inquired at the front desk, I was given a trash bag with a couple handfuls of ice. Day two, arrived to find the key cards didn’t work. Same problem with towels and wash cloths, and no bath mats or soap/ shampoo! The only “breakfast” was either cereal or make your own waffle, nothing to eat on the run. WOULD NOT STAY THERE AGAIN!
