Didnt get to have much breakfast even though it was only 8:30 and they closed at 9am. Got woken up from staff banging on the door to tell us someone needed to come in the room to clean the AC....said person never came to clean.

easy check in and building is very secure when it comes to not just letting anyone in lots of slamming doors and got woken up by the police knocking at someone else’s door, also after check out i realized i had bedbug bite :/

The guy at check in was nice but that was it It didnt match the photos, very outdated. Bed was incredibly hard. Air halfway didn’t work.

Staff at the front desk were friendly and helpful. The hotel room and bathroom were clean and furnished/equipped for comfort and convenience with reading lights near the bed, a coffee maker, fridge and hair dryer. The bed and bedding were comfortable, the shower worked well and there were room darkening shades. The hotel is located on a busy commercial strip. My room was on the second floor at the back of the hotel so noise was not a problem. It would have been nice to have decaf coffee at the continental breakfast. Also while there was bread, there was no toaster.

Completely different from what the pictures show online, and in a very sketchy area. We went elsewhere.

Booked through Expedia and had a very disappointing experience at this Microtel. We were told the deposit would be released within 2 days, but by day 3 it was still pending with little communication or documentation provided. The property also had concerning activity outside around the hotel that made the stay uncomfortable. Customer service was inconsistent and it felt impossible getting clear answers about the refund process. I understand authorization holds can happen, but guests should be given accurate timelines upfront instead of being left waiting and confused. Definitely recommend getting all deposit policies in writing before staying here.

Which is also shared with a convenience store. Loud music accompanied by tricks twerking on each other on top of vehicles. A food truck in the convenience store parking lot which was open until 2 am. Not conducive to a decent night's sleep. I did not have an expectation that hotel staff was responsible to handle what is a police matter. Although, it is was obvious they don't do anything to discourage it. I would not recommend this establishment to anyone. It is.not safe for any patron.

Within 2 minutes of walking into my room I saw a roach. My family was staying in the room next door and ALSO saw a roach. This place is roach and bug infested. We checked out without staying the night and found another hotel. Don’t waste your time/money. Place def looks like it has bedbugs, DEFINITELY has roaches, and a lot of unsavory characters hanging around.

Super creepy area! Did not feel safe one minute. Always people outside the hotel just hanging out even at 4am.

I’m shocked that Wyndham has attached their name to this place. Whoever they hired to do their photos should win an award. The photos were great but in person this place is a dump. The hallways smell like pee. The pillows on the bed were small square pillows. They were like something you’d expect to see on a couch. The breakfast was hilarious and certainly didn’t look like the pictures. The loitering going on in the parking lot was nonstop and involved people doing drugs and selling drugs. There are people living in the hotel and the hotel next door. Absolute ghetto!

Overall it was a good stay in the hotel. They(staff) did accommodate me with a handicap accessible room.

The hotel smelled strongly of cleaning chemicals. There was a large crack in the bottom of the bathtub which was "fixed" with roofing tape. The vinyl faux-wood flooring was a little sticky, but the surfaces generally seemed clean and it was quiet enough. There were no outlets close enough to charge phones on the bedside tables.

horrible location. charges extra $50 deposit on top of what you already paid for your stay, they tell you wait 2-5 business days but the money doesn’t come back. breakfast wasn’t good , only waffles available. employee was really rude when I was inquiring about my check out.

The place was so nasty i left after 10 minutes and they still charged me for a 5 day stay. Nothing but prostitutes and drug users stay here.

When we arrival we found hair on the face towel. The bathroom door would not close properly. The shower head had rust on it that came out when turning on the shower. One of the blankets was ripped. There was a ironing board but no iron. The elevator was out of order and we were on the 3rd floor. No offer to help us carry up the bags. The receptionist wasn't friendly. No smile or friendly greetings. I was so disappointed with this hotel. I will definitely not go there again.

Property is not well-maintained- elevator was broken, shower dripped, no warm water, breakfast was completely wiped out, no cleaning services with 3 night stay, uncomfortable beds More importantly, safety is a major concern. The hotel property is located behind a convenience store that was well beyond shady. Cars at all gas pump, but no one pumping/buying any gas all night. People walking back and forth between various cars, behind the store, and across the back parking lot to adjacent hotel. Very suspicious and untrustworthy. Recent significant criminal activity in area. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!

The room was decent. The man at the desk was rude when I came to check in. He put me in a room that had a broken bed then his attitude got worse because I requested to be put in another room. The breakfast was not what was shown online. They told me that me and my wife could not take our breakfast up to our room but he let 2 people leave and take their food up to their room. Lastly someone side swiped the side of my car. First time in this city and had the worst experience.

Clean room, staff was quick and efficient, not too much in the surrounding area but if you need a place just to stay for a night or two I would recommend, good pricing too.

The elevator had stopped working which became an issue for my disabled wife! The the day of check out at 8am the property people came INTO my room as I was undressed and accused me of smoking.! As a single women with me and my son being the only guest. It’s weird that a grown man would walk in while we were asleep!

this listing could not have been more deceiving. the photos do not match the hotel I stayed at other than the orange chairs in the lobby. front desk service was bad, whole hotel is out dated and smelled in such a way that I washed everything I brought the second I got home, including my duffle bag. they hand you a long list of rules upon arrival and do not allow visitors at any time. you cannot even enter the building without scanning your key card which stops working after the first 24 hours so you have to ask the front desk person to let you in. hotels.com should require you to update the photos of your property more often so that whatever experience I just overpaid for does not happen to someone else.

They’re not clean the room

The floor was dirty near the beds, sticky film. One bed by the wall was hanging off the platform which was open and could see the dirt/garbage under the bed. The mattresses were very hard and pillows were stained.

The cost was decent. Breakfast. Water in the pancake batter, so it didnt cook right. No toaster to make toast. No Grits. No butter. Coffee was empty, Out of Orange Juice. Milk was warm

Very nice hotel. Clean room. Very nice front desk attendants. I slept well so it was a good stay. There were 2 food trucks real close to the hotel property. I wanted to indulge but I had a meeting first thing in the morning and have a sensitive stomach. When I return, I will try them.

The stay was less than expected the hotel was dirty the tub had hair in it the hallway was nasty carpet was dirty and stained everywhere and the staff was not willing to do anything about it I told them to give me my money back and they said no they don’t do refunds for any reason at all so I lost the money because we went and stayed at the holiday inn and had to pay more money and they charged me a 50 dollar deposit and wouldn’t even give it back to me after we seen the room that was supposed to have two queen size beds but they weren’t queen size beds at all and the parking lot had poeple doing drug deals right in front of the hotel

Nothing When I arrived at the hotel there were police, forensics, and homicide detectives in the room a couple a doors down from my room . It was like an episode of First 48 in there . Mold was in the first room they gave me and I had to change rooms. Prostitution, and rude front desk workers. People were arguing in the hallway in the middle of the night, loud talking and laughing while people were trying to get rest during the night.

I came back from downtown and the cops surrounded the hotel 3 cars and a bunch inside. Felt super unsafe the whole time with homeless people surrounding the hotel

My mom and son had to wait outside the entire time (10-15 mins) until I came back from taking our items from one hotel to the next. They consistently provided subpar service, making our family’s four-night stay a disappointing experience. We will not be returning to this establishment.

The room was clean. The problem came when I was going to my room after checking in and the hall had a bad odor. Then the elevator was slow and had a loud beep. During the night and early morning there was loud arguing in nearby rooms.

THATS ALL!! this was at 815 and breakfast ended at 9. Would never stay again and super devastated about my car damage. Thats not the hotels fault, but its definitely in a very rough area and me and my children felt very unsafe.

The room was filthy. Smelt musty, the tub had weird brown liquid on it, behind the toilet was dirty. One of the beds had a cigarette burn on the covers along with other stains. The pillow was absolutely filthy. The nightstand in between the bed had a massive burn and grime around it. The beds were hard as a rock. Went to grab some breakfast at 7:30, the only thing they had was waffles and slices of bread. Disappointed and dissatisfied to say the least. Will definitely not book again!

found a great price . i left early drove home before staying hotel scary ! clerk was smoling weed at his desk when i came in at midnight. not clean . dirty floors . dirty scary people yelling. my room smelled. the whole hotel smells . i left asap . drove home at 2 am becaus it was i did not feel safe !!!

found a great price . i left early drove home before staying hotel scary ! clerk was smoling weed at his desk when i came in at midnight. not clean . dirty floors . dirty scary people yelling. my room smelled. the whole hotel smells . i left asap . drove home at 2 am becaus it was i did not feel safe !!!

Came in town for a concert, hotel was 12 minutes from the venue. Staff was nice, clean and comfortable stay, great for the price. Would definitely stay again.

Unfortunately and completely out of the hotel’s control; it is located in an area that has a lot of obvious drug/homeless/prostitution. Raleigh PD (quietly) made a few appearances. This is is really unfortunate because the hotel has no control over that; but it makes the hotel feel unsafe for my vehicle and if we were planning to leave. Safety is a huge part of choosing a hotel; especially when you have children. So it was a big deal. We felt very safe in our room, but I was glad to have an alarm on my car and we didn’t have to leave until we checked out. We were even a bit worried about using the gas station in the parking lot because we saw other guests being approached. Unfortunately the hotel is a victim of circumstance, but it is something to consider. It is a good hotel for someone on a budget (we got a very good rate) and doesn’t have to worry about being approached or worse; that sort of thing. Like I said, we felt totally safe IN the hotel. But totally Sketchy to leave hotel -!even in the morning/day time.

The room was clean. Staff was hard to get ahold of at front desk, would have to knock on window to get someone to come half of the time. Parking was decent. You really get what you pay for. We stayed 2 nights for a concert and it was decent enough to sleep in. The hall had a musky smell but the room had no smell.

The area was okay! It was beside a Red Roof Inn that was clearly unsafe. My room was nice, but it had cobwebs on the wall. The staff was excellent and courteous. I would stay again.

Came into town for a concert with family, My boyfriend came to surprise me and he would only allow him to come into the room for 15 min. I’ve never heard of such a thing! We got into the elevator, and it smelled awful, but only got worse once we got to our floor. The smell of urine hit me in the face as soon as the elevator doors opened. The floors were very dirty, the room was extremely hot and had a bad odor. The bed was so close to the ac that it wasn’t cooling the room down. The head board was visibly dirty, as were the mirrors. There were bugs and dirt in the bathroom floor, as well as a busted vanity. We stood in the room long enough to book a different hotel and then left immediately. I would not recommend staying here, at all!

I was apprehensive about some of the reviews, but I have to say, I had a good stay at Microtel Inn. The grounds outside were clean with good smell of food from a couple of food trucks in the parking lot of the two gas stations. The hotel is situated with in 5 minute drive of several good restaurants and shopping centers like Walmart. The hotel was quiet when I was there. My room was very clean and had no smell of smoke, as it was a nonsmoking room. The bed is very firm, a little too firm for my liking. There was a bench near the window, which made for extra seating and a desk with 2 chairs for eating or working, so I didn't need to be on the bed that much. Breakfast was they typical bread and cereal with a waffle maker. Nothing special, but the area was clean. I even noticed the ladies cleaning and mopping within 30 minutes of breakfast ending. They even cleaned and disinfected the trash cans! The front desk being encased behind glass was a little unnerving, but I did not feel unsafe while I was there for the 2 nights I stayed.

It wasn’t the worst place I’ve stayed before but when I walked into my room, you can tell they didn’t do a good job cleaning it. The staff there was very nice though. The area is a little on the sketchy side and especially at night. You definitely get what you paid for here

Had to switch rooms as the first room was infested with black mold on the walls. Room 130 for anyone who’s curious. The room was hot and sticky and had an unpleasant smell. They switched us to room 128, floor was equally sticky, bedsheets had stains on them. We checked in around 9pm and left around midnight. The lobby smelled like weed. The hotel shares a parking lot with a gas station. Lots of people walking around at all hours of the night - when we left we were approached by someone. Didn’t stick around long enough to find out what they wanted. To the hotel staffs credit: they did refund us for the remainder of our trip without question or raising a fuss, but you couldn’t pay me to stay at this hotel again.

The room was clean. Front desk staff was very nice. However the walk from the parking lot to the lobby was uncomfortable. There was constant loitering including prostitution. There is a gas station in the parking lot and people constantly outside asking people for money and things. I would not recommend for families or females traveling alone or with children and no male. Had my husband not been with me I would have canceled the reservation and stayed somewhere else.

The scenery around the hotel is scary and unsafe and the inside of the hotel room was filthy like a motel 6. I checked into my room and saw the conditions and tried to cancel my reservation and get a refund but the staff didn’t allow me to. I had to pay for another hotel in a completely different area and pay for this hotel and I didn’t stay there at all not for 1 night. The hotel was so nasty I checked into my room and then left to go reserve another hotel. There were stains on the comforter on the bed and stains on mirror above the bed as well as stains on the chairs. I didn’t even sit down in the room or put my bags down. Not to mention the lobby is also filthy as well.

The area it is located in is interesting, wouldn't recommend it for ones that have higher safety expectations. I sleep soundly, but my buddy said after dark it's very loud traffic wise, but are room faced the highway. For one night and the price, it's alright, not great and may spring for the extra money and longer drive time to the event next time.

The floors weren’t mopped when you walked barefooted in the room and then took a shower there was dirt in the shower from your feet.

You get what you pay for. It was cheap and the area is a bit sketchy but the room was clean, the bed was comfortable and firm.

It was in a noisy neighborhood, lots of people yelling in the hallway and it was hard to sleep with the noise outside with cars, talking/ yelling/ and slamming doors and people yelling inside. Breakfast was minimal.

The rooms are updated and clean but the hallways need a lot of work. The hotel is on a main road with tons of traffic, so getting in and out can be challenge.

Gave the wrong key at check in, walls are thin (could hear a phone vibrating in neighboring room), dirty floor, hole in wall. Sketchy people everywhere in parking lot. Did not feel safe. Will never stay there again.

Could only enter from the front of the hotel with a room key. My room key deactivated twice while I was there and I had to show my ID both times to get a new card. I’ve never been ID’d 3 times in 2 days at a hotel until this trip. Our bathtub did not work properly, we told the front, they said they would send someone to fix it and no one ever did. The hotel shares a parking lot with a gas station which I guess could be convenient. I never plan on staying again.

Everything about this hotel was good. They are doing some kind of construction around the property, which has it all inside of a fence. Took us a minute to figure out how to get in. There was a small bar area open till 10. Breakfast was fine. The lounge was large enough for families to sit around and get their breakfast meal and drinks in. Don’t know about any other amenities as we weren’t able or needed to use them.

It was already after midnight so instead of taking a deposit they just kept the double room charge as a deposit and said they would refund it the next day. Our room was nice and the price was right. Just a weird vibe from the staff.

The carpet in the hallway was extremely dirty so I was pleasantly surprised with how clean the room was. The bedding however was extremely stiff and rough and actually made everyone's skin itchy after sleeping in them overnight. When they say breakfast is until 9 am, they absolutely mean 9 am... everything was closed off and there was no access when a member of our group went down at 9:04, so plan accordingly. Aside from a member of the cleaning staff attempting to enter our room without knocking after we had checked in, there were no negative interactions with staff.

Don’t expect great breakfast, it’s only waffle, bread (no toaster), packs of peanut butters, juice, few cereal selection, milk and coffee, now the coffee was good👍.

It was better than I expected for a $70/night hotel. It was clean but a little rough around the edges. Employees were polite and helpful. Room was cozy but comfortable and clean. I did not receive my wake up call as promissed. Breakfast was MTO mini waffles, Raison Bread, and bread with no toaster. Overall better than I expected.

Once I checked in they said they needed to charge an extra 50$ and would return it if nothing was damaged. They said this was due to the type of people who stay there often. The area had people walking around outside everywhere homeless. The bed had two little pillows that's it and anything bed sheet no comforter.

The pictures did not show accurately how dirty this hotel was. I would say close to false advertisement. I immediately booked a new room at a different hotel

We had a very short time to sleep and we were able to have a good rest in a nice place for a great value!!

Convenient

The breakfast sucked. Just toast and waffles- not even juice to drink. My room was supposed to be pay on arrival but when I checked in, they had already charged my card. No big deal right? WRong! Because of breach of contract, I could not use the card I had set aside the funds for my trip. In the end, I didn’t have on me the card they charged so they made me pay AGAIN!

My son and I stayed this past weekend in Raleigh for Dreamville and our room was really nice, very clean and the bed was comfortable. The front desk staff was really friendly and I would stay here again if I return to Raleigh in the near future.

I recently traveled with my son, and this place is definitely not family-friendly. The lobby employee seemed to be stoned, which was unsettling. The entire place smelled like smoke, and the room was filthy and disgusting. The sheets were placed upside down, and the overall cleanliness was unacceptable. To make matters worse, the photos online do not accurately represent the actual condition of the hotel. I checked out just 15 minutes after checking in and had to book a different hotel at 10 PM. I would not recommend this place to anyone, especially families.still working on getting my money back

Near gas station. Lots of homeless ppl around not a good location for travelers. Lots of noise. You can hear people talking to your next door. People next door were arguing, yelling, banging doors. Felt not safe

The area around the hotel was questionable. It is a busy area with heavy traffic and people panhandling at every intersection. The hotel entrance is locked down for safety of staff and guests. The lists of rules posted on glass at desk gave the impression that this was a rough area. I was concerned that I made reservations in a bad place. The staff were nice and the facility was clean. The room was comfortable and was in fairly good shape. The beds were a bit too tall for my handicapped sister. She really had to struggle to get on the bed. It was fine once she was up there. Bathroom was fine. Water pressure and temperature was excellent. Breakfast was sparse. There was sliced bread, but no toaster. Cereal options , but no milk available. My nephew did enjoy his waffle and juice. My coffee was ok, with powdered creamer only available. The hotel covered what we needed it to for an affordable single night stay that was fairly close to Duke Raleigh Hospital.

My check-in was seamless, smooth, and hassle free when I arrived Raleigh.

Most other motels in this area have cannabis smell in rooms. This one was smell free & cleaner than what I expected for this price. Would stay in this for future trips.

The rooms and outside of the hotel looked like nothing on the website. It was very small. The bathroom door was broke so it wouldn’t close all the way. There was a gap under our door. Overall was just not what we was looking forward to

I booked for king size room and they ended up giving me a double queen. Once I realized that they put me in the wrong room I requested to be put in the room I booked for. They told me it was unavailable and I requested to change the price of my stay due to me not staying in the room I requested. They declined and did not notify me of a $50 hold on my card prior to checking in. Not in a good area at all. There is nowhere to park when the hotel is fully booked. I had to park on the side and hoped my car wouldnt get hit/towed.

My husband and I checked in late, and left early morning. The elevator floor and buttons was dirty. There was stains on the sheets, carpet was a bit smelly and hotel is dated. No breakfast for me thank you.

This Property was clean and close to where we needed to go

The property was in a congested area that sat in the parking lot with a gas station. It was in the “hood” looking area and didn’t look ANYTHING like the “corporate” pictures on the website. I requested to cancel my reservations as soon as I saw the property and the inside of the property. It didn’t make me feel safe.

When I arrived at the property, there was a problem with my reservation, otherwise, my stay was very pleasant and uneventful.

Cleanliness was not up to par. There was food from previous guests sitting out in the open on the shelving by the ac unit.

This was my second time staying here however my experience was not pleasant as it was the first time i stayed. I’m not sure if staying on the first floor had anything to do with it however i woke up to a mouse on my floor coming out the bathroom to the main room. I ran out of my room to the front desk and let them know of the problem and I was met with the response management didn’t arrive until around 9 or 10 and i could speak with them then because he couldn’t do anything. It was 7 am. I checked it off the room shortly afterwards as i quickly grabbed my belongings because i didn’t feel as though things were handled at all.

The room itself was not that bad but the area was not good. There were people on serious drugs in the parking lot and the police were in the lobby one day. It is not a safe area. The breakfast was just waffles, toast and cereal. No protein. Would not recommend.

The property is a lot better than what it used to be even though there are a lot of drug addicts hanging outside. It makes you feel unsafe for your car, but the staff the daytime staff did not want to accommodate with towels and wash rags upon request and I had a three nice day they were supposed to come and change the sheets on one bed. We put everything out by the elevator they gathered it up. We told them what room they never came in the room so for the next two nights, we had one bed with the other bed, no blankets or anything and he kept saying that they came in there and did it but they did it. He said he was going to check the camera, but never did that is bad business.

A nice hotel with breakfast included was a plus.

It was good but there are transients walking around. Just be aware of your surroundings.

First off I did not stay at this property and would like my refund. I stayed 5 mins and left because of the uncleanliness. I have stayed at cheaper hotels in the past and was not as dirty as this. The towels looked discolored and the aroma was not welcoming at all. Police was circling the premises ever so often. I’m like this is not for me and checked out. I asked for a refund the front desk told me I couldn’t. I called customer care with hopes someone will call me back and refund me my money. I paid to stay at a nice hotel that night. Now I know being cheap isn’t everything! Lesson learnt!
