The refrigerator froze everything. This room needed some serious work. Big stain on rug and the bathroom was in shabby condition for the money we had to pay. Most Holiday Inns are immaculate. This one was not

Pool closed at 8:00 PM while it’s still light out. Pool was not very clean. Not many seating options in the dining area for people to eat. Lots of dogs barking at 9:30 at night. We called and it seemed to help. Front counter staff was not friendly at all. The location was nice. We most likely won’t stay here again.

This property was fantastic, however, Expedia was not. I followed their regulations set forth for cancellation of the last night and am still attempting to get the last night refunded. Expedia continues to delay and repeatedly ask the same information, which I have provided numerous times. While I will absolutely stay at this hotel again, I will NOT use expedia for any future travels.

Everything was perfect from the time I walked inside the doors and smelled coffee. I was met immediately with a smiling face. My room was clean and perfect for what we needed. Location is wonderful as well. Very close to Walmart and sheets (less than 5 minutes).

Room smelled like hot dogs. Tub faucet dripped loudly all night. Other hotel guests used their keys to enter our room 20 min after we just checked in. Conflicting check out times. Texts from the hotel say 12, then an email says 11.

booked a handy capped room and it was not available. The shower head would not stay in place spraying water out of the shower.

The walls are paper thin and you can hear every little noise in the hotel. Kids were running up and down the halls at night and it was loud. The parking situation is a problem, the over flow parking is a paid parking lot.

The pictures shown are not an accurate depiction of the hotel. The pool is nonfunctional and has no water in it. The grounds are unkept. Our bathroom was not cleaned very well and there was hair everywhere. No shampoo in the shower. I had booked the room for 2 nights and they had deactivated our room keys after 1 night’s stay. I will say, the staff was friendly.

Overall the experience was good. But maintenance needs to work on the electrical outlets on either side of the bed. When I unplugged something, the whole box was coming out of the wall.

This was a good HI Express in a pleasant mixed office/retail and residential community. It is difficult to spot because there is no signage on the road, and it is at the back of shared commercial driveway.

The showers had lukewarm water. It was not hot and the breakfast was terrible eggs were cold trays of potatoes and sausage were empty and not refilled in a timely fashion. The check-in staff was very nice. The room was very clean. The bed was very comfortable, but there’s something about the hotels in North Carolina especially Raleigh. I’ve stayed in four and all four have had issues with hot water getting a warm or hot shower is very important to a lot of folks to stay in these places it needs to be fixed

The breakfast was great - something to look forward to each morning. Although bottled lemon juice and honey was available, a slice of fresh lemon would have made that cup of tea into something extra special!!! See my comments above about lemon ? and honey ? for the tea each morning.

The room was very clean, exactly as advertised, check in as easy. Breakfast area is lovely, clean and spacious. The food is kinda eh, but edible. The only real issue was the male housekeeper busting into the room about .2 seconds after he knocked, finding my naked husband chasing him back out the door. 😂😂😂

She said that would not be a problem and made a note on their reservations. When my mom and sister checked in, it was a different receptionist and she told them there was no 1st floor availability so my they were placed on the 2nd floor. Also, one night the fire alarm went off multiple times and my sister was very stressed wondering how she was going to get my mom down the stairs since she can’t walk without her walker.

For the price the room and overall facility felt a bit dated. Breakfast not starting until 7am was not helpful either. AC was turned off in our room when we checked in, so we walked in to a HOT stagnant smelling room.

This hotel was in a great location near many stores and restaurants. The staff were very nice and inviting. I didn’t get to experience the pool but saw many people in it and it looked very clean. Breakfast was good and very well kept, the staff made sure nothing was empty during the breakfast times and checked to make sure every customer was happy. The reason I didn’t give the review 5 stars was because the property needs a lot of physical maintenance. There was a smell of wet moldy carpet in the hallway by the ice machine on the way to my room on the second floor. Inside of the room the ceiling was peeling down, and a lot of the paint was cracking.

Make sure you double check your receipt if if you’re traveling with a service animal. They charged me for my service animal, it had to be reversed. Front desk staff was amazing. Breakfast is ok, could be better however it’s not a deal breaker for me. The room and pool is more important. I was satisfied.

We were greeted by a friendly host and it was immediately obvious how clean the lobby and dining area were. Our room was so clean feeling. So thankful for such a nice hotel!

The only con for me was the mattress i felt sagging a little bit in the middle but it was queen size and i was able to adjust with it. Other than that everything else was great.

Property was clean, great bed in the room. Only negative was the room next door. There was a connecting door between my room and theirs. The gap at the bottom of the door allowed light into my room and I could hear the guest on the phone clearly.

First thing is first, I booked this stay for the wife and I for Valentine’s Day. When I get there I wasn’t aware that I would be sharing a whole floor with a teenage wrestling team that wound stay up all night long. Making all times of noise and it was not! a good stay for us. Then asked if we could change room the lady that was checking people in rudely says”No” and I was just like I have to change this to her response “Do what you gotta” which ticked me off something bad however I kept my cool. This was a horrid experience!!

The room next door ceiling fell and the pipes burst in my room I have photos and honestly I asked for a discount I was willing to stay another night because I needed it and the manager declined did not accommodate my things got wet. I was with a new born And my 12 year old. Extremely disappointed I never wrote a bad review in my life.

For a quick last minute stay, this is fine. While my room was clean, ample storage, bed very comfy and eco fixed toiletries - the TV youtube and netflix did not work, tired bathroom floor and bath tiles. No sitting area in lobby other than the breakfast area. Lobby and elevators could use a good cleaning/update. However, the staff was incredibly kind and helpful. The complimentary breakfast was very good and all and it was fine. The price is low, and considering the room was comfortible and the breakfast was included; I was content.

I was a little disappointed, sheets and pillows were missing and there weren't enough towels in the room.

So Noisy. Did not get much sleep due to noisy rooms next to ours and really no sound barrier. We could hear everything going on next door and across the hall. We will not go back.

Still waiting for the $35 "incidentals" credit 3 weeks after my stay. I did not use any incidentals. Room was dated and not comfortable.

I ve been staying at this property several times a year for over 10 years. On this stay the single elevator did not work for several days. The attitude from the front desk was rude and disinterested as we had large suitcases to bring down 3 floors. The hotel has gone down a bit especially the staff at front desk

Upon checking into our room on the 3rd floor we were pleased with the accommodations. However things broke down when it came time for ice. A machine was conveniently located but, alas, it wasn't functioning. No big deal, just go down one floor BUT the elevator was on the fritz at 4 in the afternoon. The elevator only worked intermittently through our check out the next morning at 9. Major inconvenience when getting luggage out. Obvious bad maintenance makes one wonder what isn't functioning behind the scenes.

Convenient to the event we were attending. Unfortunately lots of noise from the road. Also, the elevator was having problems and only worked part of the time.

I liked the layout of the room. It was clean and spacious. My only problem I had was that I requested an accessible bathroom due to me needing double hip replacement surgery. I reserved the last one they had according to the site but when my wife went to check us in they said they only had one in the entire hotel. Needless to say that it took me an hour to shower.

Lumpy bed, leaky shower, TV with 2 remotes that needed to be explained. Just not a great experience.

Holiday Inn Express & Suites Raleigh North exceeded my expectations in every way. The property was outstanding, and the staff—from the front desk to the cleaning personnel and those who prepared the breakfast—were exceptional. I truly felt valued as a guest. Highly recommend!

My father slipped in the bathtub/shower it was very slippery. They did not have any grippers down or the bathtub mat I reported this to three different people and it happened to my dad again. Nothing was done about it. My 89-year-old father fell twice in that bathtub. If something drastic would've happened to him I would've been really really upset. Something needs to be done before somebody does fall and get hurt and they get sued.

Our stay was great. The room was clean and spacious. The breakfast was good. We are coming back and tell friends and family you are a first option in the area!

Great spot! Used it to transition to the area, had just moved cross country. It was a nice spot. The pool was CLEANNNN, very impressive. Breakfast was the best of the whole trip. The attendant was the sweetest little lady, love her.

You can tell that this is an older building that was upgraded fairly recently. We were satisfied with our stay. The staff were prompt and helpful.

a day our room was never cleaned, even though we were gone most the day. We had to call the front desk to get clean towels. The next day the room was cleaned, but no drinking cups were supplied. Thank goodness for coffee cups. Considering the cost of the room, I expected a little more.

This still was absolutely horrible, the room smelled like mildew and cigarettes. The front desk refused to change the rooms until we made a scene about it. The front desk is very rude, we ended up paying for the room and leaving that same night and going to another hotel.

It was very noisy, i didn't realize they had kid's birthday parties in the area considered business area and only place to reax in hotel, that's what conference rooms are for. Rooms were super loud to surrounding noise. Breakfast was nearly completely gone at 930am, just little things but they kinda add up.

We have stayed at a number of hotels in the Wake Forest area in the past few years. This is by far the most comfortable. It is a little farther out of town than I would like, but for the comfort, I am willing to make the drive in future trips. This is our new preferred hotel. Breakfast is good. It feels safe. Our room was very spacious.

The hotel was great. The only disappointment was the fact that the pool was closed on our first day there due to the water readings were not right. We chose this location so that my wife could spend her day at the pool, however, that didn't happen. The hotel itself was great, the breakfast was good, but the pool not being opened on a beautiful day made the first day there a waste.

Stay was just overnight and overall there was no issues and the place was comfortable.

Overall nice place to stay.

I understand that daily room service essentially disappeared post-COVID, so I was surprised to get a knock on my door my first morning there regarding any needs (I got some hand towels replaced). This turned out to be a false flag. I saw a cleaning cart a few doors down the next morning, but when I returned to my room that evening, the room was as I had left it, so I had to walk to the front desk to ask for some fresh towels. There was also an incessant clicking sound that seemed to emanate from my mini-fridge. Otherwise, a very nice facility.

Room was comfortable, had to change rooms due to shower curtain in bathroom not being attached to the wall. Lots of water damage in both bathrooms and the staff didn't seem surprised about it. Would definitely worry about mold exposure. Decent breakfast provided and staff was friendly

Good location

We travel a few times each year and only stay at places we expect to find clean, professional and friendly. Your premises provided and met all of those requirements. We never return to any place that doesn't meet those standards. We have elderly family in the Raleigh/Smithfield area and expect future visits. Your breakfast items were hot and tasty; however, there wasn't any bacon included in the serving trays. We will see you again.
