Stayed overnight while in the area for training at Multi Care. Very accessible and there is food and the mall nearby. The Continental breakfast had good choices and opened early. Room was nice and was very clean.

Everything was clean. We had a room in a perfect spot - close to a door where we parked near, right across from the ice machine. The snacks/food was stocked up very good, which was important to us because we didn't always have the time to go out and eat. The staff was great also!

When we were looking for a hotel in Tacoma, we saw this Holiday Inn was rated 9.6, so we expected a pleasant stay. However, we had a very disappointing experience. From the moment we arrived, the front desk staff felt robotic; we didn't feel welcomed. When we raised an issue about not being able to connect to the internet, the desk staff offered no solutions and showed zero initiative or willingness to help, just standing there looking at me. This was especially frustrating as the Wi-Fi in the room never worked and the reception was consistently poor throughout our stay. Our room location was also terrible; we were placed on the ground floor right next to the common eating area where parents from a visiting soccer tournament stayed up drinking and chatting loudly until midnight. We could hear their entire conversation clearly from our beds. Then, because breakfast is served at 6:00 AM, we were woken up shortly after by the loud noise of the serving preparation right outside our door. To top it off, the shower head was not working properly—it wouldn't stay up and the water just sprayed outward. The only saving grace was the breakfast, which offered a nice variety of hot, quality selections. However, a good breakfast doesn't make up for the lack of basic hospitality, broken facilities, and a sleepless night. We won’t be staying here again!!

The sink was clogged and would overflow while brushing teeth or washing hands. Hot tub was broken (main reason I booked this stay). Pool was full of hair and unknown floating objects. About 15 unsupervised children were in the pool being naughty. Belligerent guests above our unit kept us and our 3 kids awake all night until 3AM, as they were running in their unit, banging items and being loud. Staff was called multiple times and ultimately nothing changed. I do appreciate the gluten free options and go bags for breakfast. We paid for the stay to relax instead of having to drive almost 2 hours back home and we didn't accomplish that goal. Would not stay at this branch again.

Everything about this hotel was super except for one thing. I chose this hotel because it advertised a short walk to the Washington State fairgrounds. It was in no way a short walk. Their website should make this clear.

I would not recommend the driver to sleep on the hideabed because it’s is incredibly uncomfortable and they wouldn’t get any sleep.

The only cons I would say are the black mold all over the hot tub and one of the towels in our bathroom had some red sticky substance on it but we just threw it aside. Other than that the stay was pleasant and we will definitely be back.

We had to leave another property because the bathroom did not work. Holiday Inn got us in quick and fast without any problems and on short notice.

The hot tub wasn’t working and the kids were so excited to go in the pool and dressed and ready to go and got down and the pool was closed ;(

Convenient for Mt. Rainier

The upstairs room leaked on me from the toilet upstairs. Overnight, it leaked in the hallway and when I went to the bathroom in the morning, I did not see myself stepping water, and I fell to the floor. Then while sitting on the toilet additional water was leaking from the toilet upstairs onto me. I’ve been waiting now for a couple weeks for a refund as a front desk person guaranteed, but nothing has happened yet. This is very unfortunate.

We enjoyed our stay. The staff was cordial. The room was clean. Lots of parking space. Breakfast was okay but not as good as in Europe. Security cameras well placed. They had all the amenities I expected. They feature Dove products. A brand that is milder and better suited for sensitive skin with a light fragrance would be better. There is a McDonald's and a covvenience store a few steps away. Across the street is Subway. Denny's is a few minutes walk away. It is a moderate hotel we would choose to stay at again..

Nice place to stay.

The hotel was very clean. The staff was very friendly. We arrived very late after midnight, and the staff welcomed us warmly and quickly handed us our room keys. The location was excellent for us. Mount Rainier was only an hour and fifteen minutes away. I recommend the hotel and give it the highest rating.

Friendly staff. Comfortable beds in clean rooms. Despite its location, no noise complaints. Convenient, close to mall, and of course hwy access is right there. Appreciate the little "snack shack" they have set up. VERY minor frustrations: hot tub out of order during our visit (but nephew had a blast in the pool!), and only the first floor has an ice machine. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

Other than the clogged toilet on arrival all was good. It was quickly fixed and staff very responsive.

The couch bed was very uncomfortable. I could let my two girls sleep on it. My husband slept on it in a reclining position which worked out great for him. The three of us girls slept in the king bed.

We have stayed at this hotel several times. It is always so clean. Staff has always been very friendly. Traffic is a little noisy, right next to freeway, on backside of hotel.

Excellent customer service and a clean bedroom made for a pleasant stay, though the AC and bathroom could have used more attention. Breakfast exceeded expectations with a wide variety of options. The location is very convenient. However, parking was tight—reconfiguring the lot might help alleviate this issue

We had several children staying with us, the hotel was very family friendly, however, the room was never actually cleaned, just trash was emptied and towels were replenished. Also, the pull out couch/bed was broken and was very uncomfortable to sleep on.

This a clean and well located hotel. As far as included in the price breakfasts go, theirs is exceptional. The only drawback was traffic noise but I think that’s just the way it is in any city.

This was our second stay at this hotel. It is very clean and the staff is efficient. The beds are very good and the breakfast is a little above average at this price point. Our first stay was very quiet- we had a room on the backside of the building. This stay we had a room on the front of the building overlooking the gas station. It was quite loud with traffic noise. We would definitely stay again

All and all it was a pretty good property. Comfortable beds. Good breakfast for a hotel and the staff was friendly. The only thing we didn't enjoy was the fact that all of the rooms were very muggy and moist.

We really liked staying here. The staff are excellent efficient and very nice people. We had a clogged drain in our kitchen sink but they fixed it fast. My only complaint was the loud traffic at night. Maybe put up a noise barrier to keep it down. I used ear plugs so I could sleep. The breakfast bar was excellent. They always had fresh coffee cookies and Rainier apples! Every day!

Construction going on but never heard anything. Didn’t really like that you had to drive through a gas station to get to the hotel. People just went their own way, so it was a little frustrating coming and going.
