Best Western Plus Puyallup Hotel

The entire hotel was immaculate.

Staff was friendly and helpful! Interior/lobby nice & clean. Pillows great! The suite was well laid out and loved having 2 TVs. The a/c bedroom unit makes a loud ticking sound when the fan is on in room 111. Rooms need better detailing. Pullout sofa beds need to advertise what size they are and not just say “variable”. We paid extra for kids even though they should be free per adult. The giant jetted tub/shower required scaling a 2-3 foot wall to enter, which wasn’t disclosed. The pool area was too small. 2 kids with pool noodles and toys were taking up most of the space. Noodles and toys at least shouldn’t be permitted. There were kids racing up and down the hall upstairs for the entire time we were there- unsure why staff didn’t stop that.

We had a great weekend stay.

The bathroom bath tub would not drain properly. When taking showers the water would come your ankles even after assuring that the stopper was properly set.

There were the same ppl in the pool the whole time we were there so we couldn't get pool time

The breakfast staff person was very pleasant, worked deligently to assure tables wiped down immediately after guests left. She made sure food area was kept clean and fully stocked.

Night staff was great! Very friendly, gave us a one hour late checkout so we could shower after a soccer game. Breakfast was okay. This is the first property we've ever went to that doesn't have breakfast potatoes and as we're vegan we tend to rely on that for our morning meal. We did call ahead and were told you did have them so that was troublesome. The soy milk helped so thank you for that.

it was hard to top the breakfast here great assortment. my teens loved the pool area. Hotel team was good, comfy beds. small shower area, but it was nice to have the sink outside of the bathroom. Great location close to the mall (coffee) and our volleyball tournament.

The check in staff/ check out staff when I checked in was personable and friendly. The overall building was presentable and clean unfortunately The room was a little rough the counters and night stands didn’t look like they had been wiped down in quite some time there was quite a bit of dust but overall my experience was not terrible.. just a little more TLC in the actual room specifically the night stands and high touch surfaces would be HUGE!

Now being from the hotel myself Wyndham trained Hilton trained frontsesk supervisor night auditor sales and reservation manger.sometimes and not what you say and how you say it. As well having more of a pleasing in authentic tone versus aggressive and snarky. Other that place was awesome ohh and hottub advertised in the pool area.But unfortunately, no.Access to activate the jets.It's literally just a pool of hot water but parking was great, denny's.Just right there in the same parking area, two chevron stations chevron gas station right there around the corner.Very clean hotel bathrooms are a little small.You have to get around with it.Toilet kind of takes up the whole door area.So you got to step into the bathroom, close the door and then sit down kind of claustrophobic,

Wonder atmospheres

The property elevator was down during our stay. All staff has grear attitude, very courteous, personable and kind and most of all considerate. Property is located in a nuce quited area with access shopping malls, restaurants, airport!

The lobby was clean and welcoming. However, our room had hair in the bed and in the bathroom. Shower was clogged so had to stand in the water when we showered. Hotel fire alarm went off in the morning so everyone had to evacuate. When we weee let back in, there was no offer of extended breakfast or even waters. No refund or even partial refund was given. When I asked I was basically laughed at.

The water in the gift shop was overpriced which is kinda predatory. They buy the cheapest water and sell it for $2 a bottle if you need it. There is no room service. Don't ask for a rollaway bed unless you go to a single bed suite room. I probably wouldn't have cared so much if I didn't pay $252 for the room. I picked a more spendy place because I really thought I was going to get more. I did not.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The staff was exceptionally helpful and friendly. The room was very clean and comfortable. I would stay here again and would recommend it highly.

Staff was awesome

The property was clean and the room was spacious. A drip coming from the bathroom kept me up, but no real biggie. The rooms and furniture are worn in and could use a refresh. The towel hook was broken in my room as well, so just a few updates could be used. Guest services was excellent, breakfast was great, and you're right by a Target and a Denny's, so you can easily grab essentials or a quick meal without going far. I stayed five nights and enjoyed it. Would definitely book again.

Lobby was modern and beautiful. Room was musty smelling, early 1990s decor, tiniest bathroom ever, and mattress was a rock. Hotel staff very friendly and clean hotel. However, very overpriced for the quality.

Got there and the property was nice. Everyone was friendly. Hot tub jets were broke so it didnt work. Put all of our food in the refrigerator in the room only to find out it all went bad because you have to push a button every 2 hours to keep it on. Realized this after our day trip so all the food we took was bad and stinky. Toilet was clogged when we got back so i called the front desk. They literally dropped off a plunger at the door for us to plunge it ourself. It was nasty and ridiculous. We definitely will not be back to a best western plus. It was not worth the 650.00 i spent to stay there 3 nights. Also the pool is a small one that only goes to 4.5 feet deep. For some reason its not letting me add photos but i have proof of everything. Dont waste your money here. Go somewhere else. I will say that the employees were amazing here. And the hotel was very nice inside but its all the little things that matter. We wont be back.

Our hotel room floor was dirty with loose coins, price tags and receipts in trash. Otherwise, everything else was fine.

Room was clean and comfortable, staff was very welcoming and friendly! Only issues were the lack of supplies in the bathroom for two adults to be staying two nights, but more importantly, the lack of a bath mat in the showdr/tub. It was VERY slippery and could be a serious hazard! Otherwise a good experience.

The front desk staff was so helpful. The room was beautiful and perfectly clean. The kitchenette area was amazing and the ice machine was functional and clean! Breakfast was delicious and the drink options were great!

Nice look to the place inside and outside. Although in the rooms it smelt like burning wires and the concrete floor would have been more comfortable than the bed. They should invest in better beds and I mean nice pillow tow mattresses

Great trip and we loved the pool

This Best Western Plus was tired. The beds were lumpy, the carpet really dated the room. The neighbors could be heard thru the walls and ceiling.

All of the staff was amazing to us, except for one of the staff members. Emily on the night shift was very rude and disrespectful. And as for my opinion she should not be working in a hostel environment. And along with the staff member on graveyard shift was very rude too. They both were very much out of line. When i spoke to the manager and one of her staff members about this situation, they were absolutely floored and they apologized for the situation.

The Room (#123) was Not good at all. We left after one night. 1-Bed was hard and had lumps in it. Needs a new Bed. 2-Room wall Heater sounded like a truck was coming through the wall when it came on. 3- The Shower/Jetted tub was very hard to enter into! Very tall edge! Very slippery! I expected Better for a Suite at a Best Western! I Would Not Recommend This Room!! Thank you. Tim.

The King bed in Room 133 needs to be replaced! Sleeping on the right side of the bed was the worst night ever in a BW Hotel.

The hotel was in a great location, had lots of parking, was clean, big, open and clean. There is a small pool and hot tub and omg the breakfast is outstanding. Everything from sausage biscuits to cottage cheese. So good! We loved it!

Found trash in the room from previous bookers, bed sheets literally smelt like someone farted all over it before putting them on, breakfast was ok but short lived, pool and hot tub were great, very convenient location everything and anything you’d need within walking distance, staff were very professional and nice as well as informative, inside the lobby smelled very clean and looked put together I just don’t know what happened to my room and why it wasn’t like the rest of the hotel but i survived

The room was quiet while being conveniently located to everything. The ADA room was outfitted with everything needed which is a big issue for us. They are remodeling so the place was a bit “unfinished”, but the room was clean & pleasant. Breakfast & pool area excellent

Clean, well appointed, good amenities, friendly staff. Unfortunately, it fails at job one: Providing a quiet place to sleep. Soundproofing seems non-existent as we could hear normal volume conversations in neighboring rooms. Plumbing noise is also awful. Lastly, the blinds had huge gaps allowing parking lot lighting to pour into the room.

The breakfast was cool, pretty sure their coffee machine cost more than the mattresses though. Also there is literally like NO hot water, so the relaxing factor is pretty much non-existent. With the amount of towels they offer they should have considered re-adjusting their budget to allow more room to consider some pillow tops or at least a piece of cardboard to offer to sleep more comfortably on the ground. Seriously, I cannot express enough about how uncomfortable this place was, the staff was nice though you could tell that they never slept in their hotel. Pretty sure Tom Hanks in Castaway had more sleep than we did during our stay, just sayin.

I was shocked that the room did not smell clean as soon as we opened the door. Smelled like a dirty wet dog...and don't get me wrong I love dogs. I did not request a room that accommodated a pet. The lady at the desk said all the rooms are pet friendly and so they may all have had a dog in them at one time, really?? What if I had been allergic to dogs, why would any hotel do that to their rooms?? The second room was better, but I would not recommend or stay there again.

We visited Puyallup and reserved the suite at this hotel. I have no complaints. It was very roomy, and came with everything that I would expect. Also, the included breakfast was better than I expected. I enjoyed my stay at this hotel.

They had floor construction in the lobby. cones were spread all over. very hard to navigate with the room equipment transport cart. Room didn't have mot pad that I am used to in other best western plus Hotels.

Was a great stay

The staff was extremely helpful and caring for our family who were there because of the death of a close family member. I highly recommend this hotel. Also the breakfast there is amazing. We will be back.

We got the first floor. It was close to the dining room and the parking lot. They had multiple entrances so you didn’t have to go through the front every time. They kept it secure by having to use your room key to access the hotel.

Felt something biting my leg around 12am at night when we got to the room for the night and found a bed bug on the floor and by 5am me and my girlfriend wake up to a bed bug next to our faces . When I went to make coffee there was someone’s hair in the part you pour water into and then we went to take a shower after and the shower head was covered in greenish meldew and it just felt gross knowing all the bacteria growing inside it . After that we decided we didn’t wanna touch the bed or furniture we just ended up checking out at 6am really tired
