Reviews
Guests generally have a positive experience at this hotel, appreciating the cleanliness, comfortable beds, and friendly staff. The breakfast, while appreciated, is sometimes criticized for its limited options. The lack of an elevator in a multi-story building is a common complaint.

- Friendly and helpful staff
- Limited breakfast options
- No elevator in multi-story building

Check in was good. Checkout is 11 am at 8:45 am with a do not disturb on the door We had loud knocking on the door for housekeeping. Told them no. We were still there. Went to leave our room for checkout at 10:40 am and there was a large trash can blocking our door with the housekeeping cart next to it. Not a pleasant experience leaving.

Location Old and dirty, in disrepair

I waited for over an hour, and no one came out to assist me. Furthermore, the entire hotel reeked of marijuana. It was a terrible experience; I would never recommend that place to anyone.
- 1/5
Upon arrival we had issues with the bed, it was broken. There was no option for maintenance to fix or another room to go to. Additionally, the fire alarm went off from around 6:15 a.m. through 8:15 a.m. with no communication from the front desk regarding what was happening. There was no communication when it was happening nor afterward.

Things might be changing - you absolutely cannot check in at 2:30, no one is there to help you. Yes, check in is 3, but apparently there is no flexibility. The bedding is not as good, but the bed is comfortable. The food is the same everyday

Our room was superb when it came to cleanliness. Smelled good, fresh bed. Breakfast had wide variety, something for everyone. Staff was easy to find if needed. There was a pool to relax in. Love this place, will be back if traveling through again.
- 1/5
The first room was beyond filthy. The floor, bedding, and bathroom were not clean! Asked to be moved to a new clean room, and the second room was not much better. Ended up sleeping on the top of the bedding. The walls are super thin, and you can hear everything from the rooms on either side of you. Will not be staying here ever again.

Check in was easy went to use the pool and the hot tub was out of service but it has been for over a year now bed was comfortable and the shower was nice

I had a very brief stay. The people at the front desk were helpful when I forgot a razor. My room was clean and adequate and I got a good night's sleep. The breakfast was good as well. It is a 3-star hotel and does a good job at that.
- 1/5
I ended up only staying 1 night and ended up leaving around 3:00pm the following day. I had to stay there until I was able to check into my new room I booked in Colorado Springs which was about 45min away but definitely worth the drive! The beds made me and my kids highly itchy and they aren’t comfortable at all the breakfast is not that great either. The pool was like a hot tub 😭 the room we ended up going to had an indoor pool to but their water was just right. The bathrooms are also nasty. I’m sorry but I wouldn’t recommend this place.

Very convenient and pleasant facility. Clean and comfortable, at a very reasonable rate.

This was my second time staying at this holtel. The staff remembered me and were so welcoming. Clean rooms, amazing beds, and even better people. I won't stay anywhere else when I'm in town!"
- 5/5
Was good could use better breakfast and fix their pool
- 3/5
The staff was very friendly but the hot tub and pool were not available. The sign said it was shut down since September by Pueblo Health Department. The sink was slow draining and dirty - which was repaired but I had to report it twice to get it addressed. They had no change for the vending machines at the front desk. The manager brought change from his room. The tib spigot leaked. It was okay but I would not stay here again .
- 3/5
"temporarily closed". You shouldn't actively advertise it when it is closed.......so disappointed.
- 5/5
The staff was extremely courteous and attentive The room was very clean
- 1/5
The towels were stained. There was what looked to be like feces on the wall near bathroom. The lights flickered when the the plug in was used near the sink. When I asked for full service of the room they refolded the dirty towels it appeared and did not change the sheets, just made the bed.

Clean, quiet and comfortable. Staff was friendly.

Food was your standard quick breakfast options, staff was quiet, but fine. Rooms were clean, AC worked. Only bummer was no elevator and their inside pool/spa was closed
- 3/5
Room was not all that clean. Bathroom floor and floor inside the door desperately needed mopped. Bottom of tub did not look very clean either. The pleather on the chair was worn and peeling.

I had a very comfortable stay. Staff was really nice and approchable. I was impressed by the levell of cleanliness as well.
- 4/5
Clean room pleasant front desk staff
- 4/5
Room was clean and the team at the hotel was polite but not overly expressing willingness to help. We were disappointed that the advertised pool and hot tub were not available because the county had closed it down 3 months prior and nothing has been done to fix it. The pool was not the reason for our stay, but definitely wish they would have that removed from their Expedia listing if it is not going to be available.
- 2/5
There was old food and crumbs all along the side of the bottom of the fridge, trash wrappers next to the bed frames. Our trash wasn't emptied nor did we receive more towels after the 1st night of our stay. There was no pride in caring for this hotel. Don't let the pictures deceive you, the rooms don't really look like the pictures advertised. Unfortunately we won't be staying here again which is a a shame since this is the only hotel in Pueblo West.
- 5/5
The front desk clerk showed us to our rooms to make sure it met our needs. Excellent customer service.

- 2/5
Room was dusty.

we cancelled our reservation due to no pool and was still charged for the room after being told we could cancel with no penalties
- 5/5
Clean comfortable bed and good breakfast options. Plenty parking for trailer. Pass key excellent food and service right across the street. Staff were helpful and good customer service. Downside, no elevator and I was charged full price even though my $125.00 + key dollars were applied when I reserved room for 4 nights. They said I had to call the admin office to get a refund
- 3/5
The room was reasonably clean; staff was friendly. The breakfast was not refreshed with whatever they offered and the pool and hot tub was not functional. Very disappointed.

We’ve stayed at this property several times. The main reason was while moving to Florida and having things done on our Pueblo West property. This was before the ownership change. Property was maintained, pool was open and side door was accessible. We’ve stayed several times since while returning to Pueblo to visit my mother. With this last stay, we probably won’t return. The pool again was not working, side entrance not accessible. No housekeeping. Breakfast was consistent with a couple of items missing. Fortunately we did stay in a somewhat updated room, but one of the sheer curtain panels was missing. We were happy to see it at least had laminate flooring. We’ve stayed in the business suite, but the couch is very dated and damaged. Staff prior to ownership change was always visible, friendly and willing to assist. Staff now is never visible and answers to request are always negative. The price was nice especially since we’ve seen room rates posted at twice what we paid during certain times. There is no way this hotel can justify 2+ the price we paid in the condition it’s in. A little TLC and friendliness would go a long way to improve the property. We travel to the area about every 6 weeks and will seek other lodging in the future.

My room was fantastic! Garreddy at the Front Desk was awesome. Seems like he does everything there, including the breakfast buffet! It’s a small hotel but I felt very safe and the bathroom amenities were great.

Very convenient for my stay in town. It was a nice hotel and room was a great value. I will return when I need to stay in Pueblo West.
- 1/5
Housekeeping entered my room 2 different times that I am aware of with the Do Not Disturb sign on my door The pool was out of service and has been for awhile. I never would have stayed there if I had known that. ( False Advertising) I told the manager before I ever entered my room that I didn’t want to stay there and I wanted to transfer my booking to another hotel since I booked through Expedia and she said I couldn’t and talk to Expedia. I contacted Expedia and they said I had to deal with the hotel. What a scam…. I paid $2300.00 for this crappy hotel All Quality Inns are terrible and I will let everyone know and Expedia is just a scam and everyone will know that too.
- 3/5
The room is outdated and needs some renovations on the furniture. However, the bed was comfortable and I slept so good and the water pressure in the shower was amazing. I was also really dissappointed that the pool and hot tub were closed due to them being unsafe to occupy, whatever that means.
- 5/5
Great place
- 1/5
Terrible hotel!! First room we were given smelled of disinfectant and when we turned on the AC to help there were what appeared to be rodent droppings in the vents. The front desk reluctantly gave us another room that also smelled strongly of food. Beds were awful. Property is old and does not have an elevator. Do yourself a favor -spend more and get a better room somewhere else. This was at best a $50 hotel not $165!!
- 4/5
Clean room and i loved the breakfast. Quick check in. Would definitely stay here again.
- 1/5
Had to wait 20 minutes for someone to show up to the desk for check in. Even called the front desk while at the front desk and still no one showed up or answered the phone. The rest of the stay was fine.
- 2/5
This place needs a serious upgrade! It stinks, it’s very rundown. The pool was actually condemned!! No joke, there was a sign on the pool entrance that the pool has been condemned. Don’t stay here. Expedia needs to step it up, they have no business advertising and allowing customers to book such a shabby property!!
- 1/5
Tried to check in and no one was at the desk for 30 minutes. Pool was closed by order of the health department. The remote control for the TV was broken. They ran out of food at the free breakfast.

We had a nice start, breakfast was good - other than they ran out of biscuits and gravy.
- 5/5
We were able to check in at 10:30pm, after being at the state fair all day. Check in was fast and easy and the lady at the front desk was amazingly friendly. They also had hot coffee which made my night.
- 4/5
The staff was friendly. Not exceptional, but friendly. We needed another night and they gave us a good price.
- 4/5
The area around the property wasn't all that appealing and there is not a lot of dining options.
- 1/5
Customer service is horrible.
- 3/5
TV, Phone, and hair dryer didn't work. Tried calling front desk from our cell phone but no one answered. Room is very dated, had yellowed pillow cases and black stains on towels.
- 1/5
I think the family who bought it lives there when we asked for a king bed they told us it was sold out. Smelt like curry.

I had a demanding week, and the Quality Inn graciously offered my kids, pets and I a week of comfort. I felt safe and secure, and the rooms were impeccably clean, with service that was friendly and welcoming. Moreover, I would like to express that, having stayed in many high-end hotels, this one truly exceeds them all! Thank you to the team at Pueblo West Quality Inn!
- 1/5
The bed wasn’t finished being made at least I hope that was the problem. There was urine on the toilet. I dirty towel left on the sink from maybe wiping above the light or something. It just wasn’t clean. We came and checked in them left and came back late and didn’t want to bother with it. Will not be back!
- 2/5
The customer service was great appreciated the EV chargers, unfortunately everything needed updated. The beds were horrible to sleep in. You went to the middle. They are old and outdated. The room carpet is dirty and nasty and outdated. Some money needs to be put back into the hotel for upkeep.
- 3/5
I appreciated how all of the staff even housekeeping was friendly and helpful. I appreciated that there was electric EV plugs for my car! Unfortunately, our bed was not very good and needs to be replaced. There was lots of things like the ice machine that didn’t work in a hotel without an ice machine what? There was little things that needed to be maintenance like dirty carpet, stains, and updated bedrooms. Unfortunately, some money needs to be invested back into the hotel for upkeep, but all the people that worked there were great and friendly to work with.
- 5/5
The staff was friendly and polite
- 4/5
We booked 3 rooms for a family weekend in Pueblo West. The rooms were clean, the breakfast was simple but good with waffles, eggs, sausage, hash browns, yogurt, breads and good coffee. We enjoyed our stay. The ice machine was out of order so we had to do without ice in our drinks.
- 2/5
✔️ in was lengthy due to comp lags? The king size bed was exceptional. Lrg ottomon and 2-3 person sofa. Desk. Ample sparkling white towels for a one night stay. Breakfast offered eggs sausage. Waffle maker, biscuits & sausage (not too salty.) Cubed potatoes. Bagels cream cheese, PB and honey. I did not try the coffee. Plenty of shamp & cond. + makeup removers a tiny coffee pot and hair dryer. A/C unit worked well and on low it was not too loud. TV remote had weak bats. carpeting in halls and room/ tile in full bath/ rain fall shower hd. Weeds were prevalent with also some debris from previous guests. In my rm I found one finger nail clipping and a piece of a French fry hiding behind the TV cabinet. My service animal was welcome with my provided paper work. (Rabies Certificate and US Dept of Trans Service Animal Air Transportation Form. ) Otherwise a $20.00 fee is added (Not stated on hotels.com website listing) Italian Sausage Sandwich Restaurant located right across the street. Also located nearby a Jimmy John's and several gas stations. Noise level from other late night guests (after 10 on a Saturday nt) was loud. Hot tub was not working and the pool was pretty small but clean and refreshing. Business office has a working p.c. and printer. Laundry was also available. Ice maker also o.o.c. Two smoker friendly areas located on both ends of bldg. Two levels (no elevator) with 22 rooms on each. RM 123 roomy / 2 windows / b/o drapes.
- 2/5
This establishment is the quintessential today's Quality Inn. I'll let you sort that out for yourself. The exterior was attractive and in a semi business mixed occupancy district. Check-in was good with a friendly clerk. Immediately the problems started. The hot tub was out of order (don't know how long it had been but wasn't noted on the Choice Hotels website). The ONLY ice machine was broken, had to wait on the desk clerk to bust up ice from a plastic bag from the store. The hotel, while attractive, it was obviously cheaply built. There was a small child romping around in the room above us late in the evening. Very loud! We tried to call the front desk but found out the room phone didn't even have a dial tone. Glad it was just a child romping around and not a medical emergency. Breakfast had a very minimal selection and not exactly well maintained and restocked. Our room and the entire facility was very clean however some of the furnishings had seen better days, some time back. Attached is a picture of a chair in our room. On checkout, the front desk wasn't even attended so that some of these issues could be brought up with the management. Needless to say, this was the last chance I'm ever giving Quality Inn Hotels.
- 2/5
Air conditioner broke in exercise room. No elevator, run down, hot tub not working. And MOLD on the biscuits for breakfast. Needless to say I won’t be staying there ever again. And hotels.com gave a very good rating! ????

Nice hotel. Convenient with truck/RV parking
- 4/5

The shower sis not drain, ice machine not working properly , refrigerator not working. Ice and frig needed after a long hot day. Ratings did not give accurate descriptions. Won’t stay again.

Already did
- 5/5
Great place to stay with kids. Be aware the pool goes from 4ft to 5’6”, there is no shallow end for little kids. Still a nice small pool though.
- 4/5
Everything is nice but arrived and our room was hot!
- 1/5
Upon arrival hotel staff said they had no reservation. They had no supervisory staff available to resolve the confusion. I communicated with hotels.com immediately, and they simply deferred to the hotel and charged my credit card for a room reservation the hotel claimed they didn't have. I've had to file a dispute with my credit card company. I'd never do business with hotels.com or this hotel again.
- 2/5
Overbooked King Rooms so had to take 2 Double beds, room smelled like body odor, there is no elevator and room was on the 2nd floor which was up a flight of about 14 stairs (straight up), whirlpool was down, for breakfast they ran out of hot food and didn't replenish, no fruit/no muffins, basically cold cereal, bagels, and yogurt. This place has gone downhill over the past 2 or 3 years.
- 4/5
The room was clean and cozy, breakfast was good, management and staff, kind and courteous. Swimming pool and hot tub, clean and open. My only knock was a lack of elevator.
- 3/5
This has always been our go-to place to stay when visiting our family in Pueblo but it truly needs some TLC!!!!! We will be looking for another place to stay going forward.
- 2/5
This was where we always stayed while visiting our family in Pueblo but it is no longer our go-to location after this visit. We will be look for a new location going forward. This hotel seems to no longer pay attention to the small details, such as cleanliness.
- 4/5
The beds were extremely comfortable. Overall, it was a clean and safe location. We would stay here again. We did not eat breakfast as we had plans with family. It is an older hotel, but definitely worth the stay.

Bed and bedding were fabulous!! Bathroom is dated. The fitness room was locked twice when I went to use it. Turns out is was unlocked all the time. Card jey dif not work since it was unlocked. They should post hours or say it's unlocked. Perfect location for our purpose. No other hotel in area.

- 3/5
It’s an older refitted motel. The bedding was very comfortable. The bathtub had tons of black curly hair in it, the toilet wasn’t secured to the floor and I waited about 10 minutes for someone to come to the front desk to check me in.
- 4/5
It was good for my purpose but paid the same in another area of town that was newer
- 5/5
Very nice one night stay. Very quiet, which we appreciated. Breakfast was good, and the staff were very friendly.
- 1/5
I am a frequent traveler and check reviews before booking. It is beyond me how their rating is so high. The common area was dirty, the room was dirty, the odor eliminator spray they use smelled nauseating, the linens were old, thin, and worn, and the walls are paper thin. I could hear every word of the conversation of the people in the next room. The highway traffic is very loud. The person at the front desk did not appear to be computer literate and needed to call someone for help which greatly extended the check-in time even though I had paid online. There is no elevator which makes having multiple pieces of luggage very inconvenient. The whole property is aged and could really use an upgrade. I will definitely never stay here again.
- 3/5
The pool was broken and the breakfast was little to none. The were out of almpst everything
- 3/5
Everything was clean and rooms were nice. The only thing was that the pool was closed and our kids were so sad about it.
- 3/5
The property is out dated and in need of a desperate upgrade. Couch was worn and dirty. Carpets in need of cleaning Bathroom sink very inconvenient to use. Breakfast can use an a variety of food items. It was the same items being served everyday. Matress pad kept coming off the bed.
- 3/5
Nice quiet area. Some small little things fridge did not work had a smell, light in sink area did not work.

Breakfast was really good. Had sausage patties and sausages. Scrambled eggs hash browns. Biscuits and gravy. Plus all the other usual cold items. Great value. Highly recommend this place. Will come back again.

Most of the stay was great. First morning, guests were talking loudly in the hallway at 5am. They were talking to front desk/dining room staff. Last night, a guest next door had tv on loud until 3am. All other days were great.

We liked the nice room, the clean pool and hot tub.
