Very bad smell bad and the room was not cleaned

My door lock for inside was broken and my room had a lot of bugs in it. Not cleaned at all.

This hotel was perfect for my needs close stay to the airport and easy early rental return for my flight back home. Room was ready on time check in with MD at the Virginia location was super easy he was so kind and friendly made everything simple for me to enjoy my stay before returning home. Check out was even easier with Sharon she was so sweet and i just loved her i would bring her back with me lol. Staff here got my vote i would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for convinces at a reasonable cost just book. MD & Sharon got you thank you again guys sending my love from Hawaii.

Shops and restaurants close by . Booked 2 rooms they put us on opposite ends of property. Confusion upon check-in one room was already occupied when we enterd it . Could use some cleaning and painting.

nothing The hotel was an unwelcoming shelter; it was not a safe place. The first night we got there, the staff just left the front desk and never came back. The rooms had issues; they smelled like weed, due to the fact that there were unhoused families living in the hotel. I had to wait 2 hours for someone to come into work for their shift to be placed in a room, and I was NEVER compensated for the inconvenience. NEVER AGAIN!!!

Disappointing

No elevator and marijuana stench in hallways and rowdy, patrons, slamming doors and yelling, but otherwise a very nice place, excellent staff and upgraded facility

I liked the accessibility and the kitchen area. I did not like that the rooms did not have smoke detectors. The sprinklers were not working. The rooms were not assigned and organized for us since it was paid for. I was told that they were out of rooms and tried to give me another room with a different bed which I did not pay for.

I liked the area it was in. I didn’t like the front desk staff that did not help our group with appropriate customer service. Her attitude was nasty. When asking her a question she would answer in a snappy tone.

The Location was less than 10mins from my event!! Very Noisy during the night ,sitting area in lobby wasn’t clean (sofa day 2) woke up room smelling like (LOUD aka Weed) every conversation was heard throughout the rooms!!

I liked that it was in close proximity to the base, food, activities & shopping centers I didn’t like that we didn’t have access to the elevator, hotel was under construction (the men walked into our room after we said the room was occupied) & we didn’t know where the breakfast room was located(we asked several staff but a visitor showed us & another man where it was located).

Didn’t have the balcony room I booked, didn’t refund my money after I left early.

We got to the suite and the room itself looked beautiful and had plenty of room. However, the heaters in the rooms sounded like they were from the 1900's and were so loud that we ended up shutting the one off in the front room and turned up the one in the bedroom until it was time for bed. Once we got settled into the room, I then discovered that the television in the bedroom wasn't working and there was no remote. Didn't complain to anyone because we were so exhausted from the trip, we went straight to bed anyways. We soon discovered after using the restroom that there were no trash receptacles and made do with a couple of bags we had from the trip in. A very concerning issue that I did raise was the fact that there were no smoke alarms in either room, simply a wire that hung down from the ceiling. This my friends, is completely illegal and I made that very clear the next morning. I also made it clear the next morning that I was canceling my reservation for the next night because of all of the issues and the fact that we had ZERO HOT WATER to shower with, very disappointing. This was not only an issue for our room #238, but our friend room #218 down the hall. Even after complaining and cancelling our reservation we received ZERO compensation.

Room was dirty. The toilet was not clean at all. There was actual visible defecation. The floors throughout were dirty especially the bathroom with hair and a pill on the floor. The young man at the desk was very polite and friendly. The heater in the room clipped and made a very high pitch noise. We didn't shower because we felt it would be safer not to. There were no toiletries such as shampoo conditioner and even soap. I highly recommend to look for a different location to stay. We were lucky to have our hand sanitizer.

The property was lovely considering all the snow and ice. My room was excellent. The bathroom was a little small but that shower head was amazing for a person that was in pain. The king size bed was so comfortable. I slept like a baby. The only thing I didn't like was the stairs. I have bad knees and having to walk up and down the stairs we're kind of hard. Oh and the only ice machine is on the first floor. They're should be one on each floor.

Staff were nice and attentive. The room was freezing… the AC unit Wasn’t fitted to the space cut out in the wall and cold air was pouring in which made the heat cut on and off all night long

Easy access from highway, big room Heat wasn’t working and I did not alert front desk because they gave us a first floor room upon request and my husband is recovering from knee replacement so it would’ve been more of an inconvenience to move rooms. Then the power went off this morning so we had no electricity in our room to get ready to leave

Clean, comfy and safe

around the the building to the front lobby to gain access inside the building.

Had to move rooms because of faulty smoke alarm. The second room had an air/heat unit that didn’t work so half of the suite was cold. The volume would not work on the tv in the living room nor the bedroom. The front desk said they would have somebody look at it, but did not.

The room could use a little sound insulation but overall I'm very pleased with my room and experience here.

The worker at the front desk was very friendly and efficient. Hotel location was very convenient to the military base. The Italian restaurant in the hotel was very good. There was also a very good Thai restaurant across street. Overall, for the price, it was a decent stay.

I honestly love staying at this hotel, but the room I got this time I stayed had a microwave that didn’t work and no forks or any utensils to use in my room. I called the front desk Saturday night to tell the clerk about the microwave and she gave me the run around about calling the manager that night. The next morning I called, there was another clerk who told me he was going to get the housekeeping crew to find another microwave. It took me about 5 attempts of getting in touch with somebody about the microwave. When I asked for a discount or something for my inconvenience, that’s when the situation was handled. It shouldn’t have had to take for me to speak with anyone more than twice about an issue I was having.

The staff is always welcoming and helping with the key cards. I wish they had another way to get into the rooms, but anyways. My stay here is always good. I never had too much of an issue with anything other than the key cards to get into the room. The bathroom is small though lol, but I have managed.

Check in was a problem and the next night about 1am the guy who was in shift opened our door claiming the he tough the room was empty no knock or call very bad experience

Wasn’t able to check in till 7 PM. Front desk representative was real rude knew didn’t know what she was doing and was calling her a manager back-and-forth and that I’m not getting into my room till almost 8 o’clock hot water was not working. The sheets were dirty, no towels in the room. My whole expense was terrible.

There are lots of options to fast food places to eat at nearby and shops to get things. I like that the suite had a full size fridge, a stove top, and glasses and plates. Overall we wouldn't stay again but it wasn’t a terrible experience just not as comfy as we’re used to when we stay at hotels. For the price, it’s worth it.

It was so bad that we didn't stay. Our first room had a balcony with glass doors overlooking a pool and looking across to other rooms. There were no drapes! Anyone in the other rooms could see in and there would have been no way to keep the room dark once the sun came up. We asked for another room. The front desk worker said they were full but then checked and found another room and moved us. It had 2 beds...no linens, just bare mattresses! The kicker was the lights didn't work. We were in complete darkness. At that point I was done. The hallways smelled like smoke. The desk attendant was courteous, but that was the only good thing. We left and I'm going to be asking for a refund

Good stay, hotel is newly remodeled. Great service. My only complaint is there was a slight smell of “sewer” in the bathroom at all times. Bed and pillows were comfortable and very clean. Towels fluffy. There were no hangers in my room so they got me some and brought them to my room.

Our room was nice, BUT as soon as i walked in it wreacked of cigarette smell. I called to have our room switched and that was handled very well. Rooms were new and non smoking, unfortunately you can't control other people's irresponsibilities, but the cleaning crew should have reported the smell so they could work on putting the room up to par again. The only thing negative about our stay was new room key was given to someone else and they walked into our room. That was awkward 😳 Good thing we weren't doing anything inappropriate if you know what I mean. And the hall ways were really loud with 2 other guest that carried on all night talking back and forth, no fault on the hotel of course. The pizza shop that was connected to the hotel had really good food. That was a plus. We will be using the hotel facilities again soon as our son is stationed at the military base right next to it. Overall I would give it a 4.5 out of 5 so not bad

It's all about the management. 5 stars. Look, it's a hotel/motel. And the condition is better than fair, but it's not the Ritz of course. HOWEVER, the owner and staff, are so accommodating and helpful and really care about you, that I can't even think to give it anything under 5 stars! It jus goes to show, when someone cares about their customers, it trumps everything else! You cannot be unhappy if management and staff actually care about you and your needs. 5 stars. Win win win.

A suggestion I would make to the property is put a key pad on the elevators not the exits or allow all key cards to open exit door but still unsafe in emergencies for all guests.

It’s a very nice place love the customer service given to me.
