Poulsbo Inn & Suites

Next night...same thing. Occupants left, dog started barking non-stop, until the owners returned about 3 hours later. We again contacted the front desk, twice, and again they said they'd call the room (unoccupied) at the times. Totally unsatisfactory. Doubt we'll stay there again!

Everything was great! Used the hot tub,very homey and fresh baked cookies on check-in.

Great stay, easy access, staff was quick to fix a problem when our key cards no longer worked. Fortunately it was the simple fix of replacing a battery. Would definitely stay there again.

We arrived several hours early and they found us a clean room and allowed us to check in. We also had to check out a couple days later at an early hour. They were always pleasant and accommodating.

We had a delightful one-night stay. The place is not new, but it was comfortable and exceptionally clean. Although located on a busy street, road noise was not an issue at all. The staff was very friendly and accommodating and the price was right. What more do you need?

Only a couple issues with the property. When I arrived I asked if there was a ground floor room but was told there wasn't one available. Our room key didn't work so I had to go back to the main office and the person checking in was given a ground floor room. After they programed the key again but still didn't work, I was told the door needed to be repaired and then was given a ground floor room. The door didn't seal all the way and so bugs were also in the room.

Check in was easy and convenient. There is someone available at the office 24 hrs. The room was comfortable and clean. The hotel is on a busy street, so there is a little noise in the morning. It is a convenient Poulsbo hotel and was fine for my needs.

It is reasonably priced for the area and offers good value. I'll be back.

However, clearly no elevated experience is to be had here or any any comparable property. For a motor lodge, you cannot go wrong here. Nothing offends, just as nothing will wow or woo you. Clean, dry, and serviceable as we used to say in the USAF.

My room smelled like old wet blankets and my windows didn’t open. People smoked everywhere on the property, including outside my room. People wet loud and obnoxious. I was there for two weeks, so this wasn’t a “one off” experience.

The person working the front desk was very pleasant, polite, and helpful. The room was clean. I would recommend the Poulsbo inn for a place to stay.

The staff is extremely pleasant. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was coffee and bagels with cream cheese, butter or jelly, which was perfect for us. It's not fancy, the price is right and we would not hesitate to stay next time we are in Poulsbo.

Ice machine was locked at 10pm sad and there was a huge open space in our door cold air was coming in not at all worth the price was my first time staying here I usually stay at the guest house same price and so much nicer I feel we were robbed of at least $40 extra on this hotel I will never rent here again. I come out once a month so it’s going to be the guest house stays for me.

This is the third time I've stayed on this property and it's like being home. Though it looks old school, it's clean, convenient, has friendly staff, is comfy, and is reasonably priced.

We live out on the peninsula so we have to go to Silverdale for shopping and this is our spot to stay.

This hotel is always a great stay. This was the first time we had an issue. I went to the breakfast area to make a bagel for my son and one of the managers was completing the hiring process for a few employees seated at the eating tables. I overhead the manager talking about waiving the 30 minute break and audit implications and telling the new hires that they could take a 10 minute break if they needed it in their car or wherever they wanted. The manager went on to say that if 30 minute break was really needed it could be taken and at one point there was a comment about signing out. I was just trying to toast my bagel and put some cream cheese on it for my son but it was impossible not to overhear the conversation. To me it felt really unfair as I don’t think these new hires could say anything otherwise to these comments because they were accepting the job. When I left I asked a room cleaner about it and she said yes it is a labor practice issue but then said she likes working here very much and her boss is great. I asked because I really like the staff here and I was hoping I was just confused about what I thought I was hearing. Upon check out the manger in a very aggressive manner showed me the law about how an employee can waive their rights. I let her know my concern was that her new hires might not feel comfortable speaking their mind. She responded by saying they would feel comfortable and that she mentioned that aspect in the very early hiring stage too. She went o

The building itself is definitely older and the furniture inside as well as the bedding. The staff was amazing so nice so courteous. The room was really quiet and very spacious. Bagels, coffee, tea, and juice in the morning was an extra benefit. I look forward to staying there again soon.

We have stayed at Poulsbo Inn and Suites several times and they always meet our expectations. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Everything works. We appreciate the microwave, small fridge and Keurig machine in the room. The complimentary bagels in the morning are quite good. Staff - including housekeeping - has always made us feel welcome. Very convenient location within walking distance of Poulsbo shops.

Great mountain views on a clear day.! Clean room, plenty of towels (pool towels are a plus). Not much to not like....a suggestion for breakfast...offer a protein (meat, etc.) with the bagels.

The front desk staff is very nice, and you get a cookie upon checking in. I’m not looking to be spoiled by any lodging business, and Poulsbo is a great low cost option that treats you well and has comfortable amenities.

Staff was great, rooms were clean. The entire property is in desperate need of an update. It is just a very old, yet quaint hotel. Pillows, bedding and overall sleep comfort was not good. Loud and uneven heating/cooling. Location is good. Overall it is still a value, but the sleep experience, bathroom fixtures, decor could use a refresh.

This is our second time staying here. As with the first visit, our room was tidy, clean, comfortable and cozy at a reasonable price. The front desk staff are professional, polite and helpful. The breakfast area was tasty with the various bagels & cream cheeses. Overall, the Poulsbo Inn & Suites is a great local, family owned property. I'm coming back here if I ever need to stay in Poulsbo!

Place was dirty, old and smells, we had ants infection and had to be moved to another unit. Whole place looks rundown old and in need of upgrades!

I left something behind and they did not steal it. They kept it behind the front desk and when i called they let me know they would hold on to it till i picked it up. They also let me have a cup of coffee when i arrived to pick it up. This is a a solid hotel and no issues with noise or cleanliness.

The room was clean. The check-in and check-out was simple and quick. Friendly lobby service, overall we would definitely recommend.

Had all the necessities, fridge, microwave, coffee, tv, was a good room. Hot tub was closed even when earlier I asked if it was open, no extra pillows, the pillows we had were rough, breakfast was a bagel lol, staff was nice though.

We left an item in the room when we checked out. They kept it until we could return to get it! We normally get a better breakfast at a motel like this.

Staff are always very nice and accommodating. The hotel is older but in a rustic cabin vibe way. There’s excellent restaurants and coffee just across the street and healthy walking distance from the waterfront if you don’t mind a stroll. We’ve come back here at least five times now because the price is right while still being comfortable.

Staff were very helpful and welcoming. Bed was too firm. My wife was uncomfortable and did not sleep well. Room was spacious but quite dark and could stand updating. Toilet is old and flushed poorly, requiring several flushes to “come clean”.

The housekeeping people were friendly, helpful, and kind. The room was clean. When the housekeepers, I think her name was Christy, knocked on the door and asked me if I needed anything. I told her that I was going to be leaving in about half an hour if she wanted to take care of the room, even though there was nothing much to do in there. She asked me if there was anything specific I wanted done. She was very sweet to my little grandson. We talked for a minute in the doorway and he ran out the door to hug her, so she gave him a hug. Thought that was very sweet.

I’ve stayed 3 nights here in 3 different rooms. All the rooms were clean, quiet and comfortable. All the staff I interacted with were friendly and helpful. The rooms are not necessarily newly renovated but very well maintained and clean. Think ‘cozy cabin’ more than Ritz-Carlton. 2 rooms were standard hotel sized double queens with all your typical amenities. 1 room was single queen, very large with a full kitchen (full size fridge, stove, etc.). There was plenty of free parking. The pool was open in early fall. It was warm and clean. I’ll definitely stay again when life brings me to Poulsbo.

This was a very nicely decorated location with older units and newer units. We stayed in one of the older units. It was very nicely updated. We loved the look of it, but the wall was so thin we could very clearly hear the neighbors talking...at 1:00 in the morning. We will definitely stay there again but in one of the newer units. The reception staff were extremely nice. They also offer chocolate chip cookies!

The staff was great. The riim was clean. Mattress and pillows were very comfortable. The tiwels were bright and soft and absorbant. The grounds of the property was lovely. I spent alot of time sitting outside and the areas were all well-maintained. I always choose to not have housekeeping clean my toom during a stay, but they were all very friendly when I would see them. Staff at front desk was also nice. It seems to be underrated in my opinion. Ive stayed in "fancier" hotels and I have to say that this was just as good and in some cases way better than the options i have chosen in the past. I was visiting my son and did not rent a car. It was a close walk to so many things to do while waiting. Its a great location. A big Thank You to everybody there. The stay was wonderful.

The room was super clean. and the materials used for the wall decor and furnishings were of very good quality. The staff was friendly and very efficient. Heating and cooling unit worked well. The spacious frig was cold. It was a pleasing experience. I will definitely return.

Wondeful staff and beautiful lady at the front desk

Shower had no hot water. Front desk told me that I needed to fiddle with the tub handle to get it hot. This did not work. I let them know I would like to switch rooms so I could have a hot shower. They moved me to another’s room that…did not have hot water. The water would get like warm at best.

Nice little property. Nothing fancy but clean and in good repair. A little snug/tight by todays standards. We had a first floor room which suited us fine except the child or children above us was very active coupled with a lack of noise deadening compromised the stay and sleep. Continental breakfast was a bagel and coffee.

The Poulsbo Inn goes beyond to make things nice for visitors but the towels and linens are old and very worn. They offer chocolate chip cookies on check in, have in room coffee and bagels and coffee in the morning. All for a very reasonable price. Just wish the towels were thicker and that they would get rid of those old bedspreads.

The refrigerator was very tiny and the shelf and bars on the door were missing. It barely got cold, and I had to throw out some food I had. I travel a lot and this was the worst refrigerator out of any hotel room I've ever been in. Breakfast was a variety of fresh bagels and toppings, and coffee, tea, hot chocolate, or juice. The room that it was in was nice.

I like this property because it is clean and well kept. It's location next to a busy road and car wash, though, made for a restless night of sleep due to the noise.

Everything was pretty nice except for the hot tub was like a 8’ bathtub and the water was warm at best. I’m not sure if it was because of the lid being off from the family of small kids that were playing in it the hot tub almost the whole time we were trying to relax in the hot tub.

The room we had was nicely laid out with a large dresser, work table and chair, and a fridge concealed in a wood cabinet. The only layout feature that seemed odd was that you could barely close the door to use the commode. Ours was a very short overnight stay but we would stay here again to connect with the ferry.

Inn is on a busty arterial, so you will have road and traffic noise. Fixtures are dated, slow water flow in shower. But a fair value for location and season!

Nice price for city stop

Really enjoyed our stay at Poulsbo Inn and Suites. The rooms were clean, beds were comfortable, had nice mountain views, and the staff were friendly. Got a homey family vibe from the place, which after a few weeks on the road staying at bigger name hotels, was really welcome. Bagels and coffee were an unexpected perk.

We live staying here whenever we come to visit our family in Western Washington. Rooms are cozy and very well maintained. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

The price was good for the area but the room was a bit outdated. Rug had a large noticeable stain, the bedspread had a small but noticeable stain. The hot tub was not impressive at all.

I did a 5 star some may do a 4 but I had a nice stay here. The room had fully functioning amenities. Good water pressure with no hot water fluctuations during the showers. The rolling desk chair saved my back from uncomfortable bed sitting. Yes the bed covers were dated but I feel I really got my money's worth and had a wonderful stay.

Convenient location near downtown Poulsbo. The property has a pool and hot tub that looked inviting but we didn’t have time to use. Concrete steps to 2nd floor room. The room was fine, nothing fancy. The bed wasn’t comfortable but I’m not used to a box spring mattress. Appreciated the referral to Sogno Da Vino restaurant as the food and service was wonderful.

We've stayed here in the past, so had no problem booking another trip. What was supposed to be a three night stay, turned into almost a full week. The staff, and service, we received has quickly turned this location into a MUST stay for us. A medical emergency meant we had to scramble to find accommodations, and the staff here went well above and beyond to help us when we needed it. We were actually able to even enjoy the pool, and felt very comfortable. It is a little older, but still very comfortable. I recommend this to ANYONE staying in this area, and WILL be coming back in the future.

The front desk staff was friendly and accommodating. The facility is a bit dated and breakfast left a lot to be desired (bad coffee and only bagels). The room was mostly clean except someone forgot to flush the toilet (ew!) when we first got in the room. Otherwise, the hotel is clean and conveniently located. Downtown Poulsbo is very nearby and you can get to other locations on the Kitsap Peninsula easily.
