    Nothing It was dirty. Everything was broken fire alarm wires were hanging in the ceiling so I would say it was unsafe refrigerator was stinky because they had it off. TV didn’t work and it was just overall completely dirty.

    The hotel has good and Kind Staff, but I have to say the one guest thing is a bit disappointing I mean at least three guests hell just do two guest and see how it goes. My fiance son couldn't come see her because of the one guest rule.. Still though excellent hotel to book specially if you want quite and remote. Haha get on the odd side of building your always in for a show before work haha if you know then you know. We just got a puppy gonna see how she likes it soon.

    The location was decent in regards to being close to area restaurants and attractions but the neighborhood is considered not a good area. The staff was friendly and helpful The room was in bad condition, a hole in the shower ceiling, and the painted tub was peeling. Only 2 pillows per bed. Found a dirty washcloth in the shower. No tissues in the room, the provided wall attached shampoos, hand soaps, etc were empty. The lobby and parking lot reeked of weed but the room did not which was good.

    The staff was friendly It’s not in the best area. It’s somewhere to lay your head for the night and take off in the morning. It would just help a bit if the walls were wiped down and the dust is wiped off the headboards, or you didn’t have to question whether you should wear socks or shoes when you walk around.

    The room was adjoining another room with a door between the two rooms. I could see the light from the neighboring room under the door and hear everything going on in that room, including a loud TV and loud conversations. In my bathroom, the baseboard molding behind the toilet was hanging off, laying on the floor. The hallway outside my door had trash items on the carpet. The bed was comfortable and the shower was fine, so not everything was bad, but I wouldn't stay here again. There was never an employee at the front desk. I had paid in full for the room in advance, but they still required a $100.00 "Deposit" which was refunded when I checked out...never had this happen before and I've travelled a lot.

    The beds are horrible! They were so hard and uncomfortable. We weren’t charged correctly but it wasn’t worth trying to talk to them. The bedding had so many cigarette burns in them it was crazy. There was 4 of us in a room and we had to go to the front desk to get additional towels because we were only given two for the guy to walk out and say he’d back back in a minute and then not come back. When we came back from our cruise we had to call because our $100 deposit wasn’t returned to us. I do not recommend this hotel at all.

    Pet friendly I would guess is all on bottom floor . Already my room was. The noise from floor above was so noisy. My cat did not eat the 4 days there. Had to call about noise on floor above . Had to check out 3 days early because of pet being petrified. I would suggest peds be top floor.

    the toilet flushed with a round push button on top of the tank and the sink countertop extended over the toilet tank so we could hardly get one finger under counter to flush.The sink spigot would hardly let any water through,had to rinse toothbrush in the shower spigot. Tv remote wouldn't work from the bed.Beside these issues the room was nice,and clean.

    Well this establishment only cares about getting money I get it but they have no care for it’s Patrons, Inwas visiting in Va Beach and I ran into a Beautiful young girl who needed a place to stay a few nights so Being a good citizen I paid for a room booked on line and Paid 50.00 in the Payment. The Woman at the front desk would not allow this young girl in her hotel because she didn’t have 50 mind you which was paid in the total according to a representative at Hotels.com which turned out to be a fraud number, the Rude attendant was adamant about 50.00 and never mind the safety of A young girl being on the streets, I tried talking to her she refused and turned around and said cancel your stay and Called and spoke to a legitimate Rep and they literally keep my money and lies and said I’d get a refund Hotels. Com never settled this dispute and did not refund my Money for that Cancellation I didn’t make

Stay was OK for just a night but not good enough for a vacation or a trip. When we finally got that figured out we went to our room and it just kept getting worse. The smoke detector missing but the wires hanging out of the ceiling for it. Stains all over the sheets and blankets. Burns in the bathroom soap dispensers. Tried to use the microwave and the food got stuck in it so we took the microwave to the front desk where we were told to give him 10 minutes he will get it out. Oh, and the toilet paper that was left for us to use from the people prior. We are frequent flyers of Red Roof but that came to an abrupt end after this nightmare of a weekend.

    When we arrived, there was a sign on the outside of the hotel showing that it was recently remodeled when we check into our room you could tell that somethings were updated, but the room was not fully remodeled. The bathroom look like has been damaged and nothing‘s been fixed and the walls in the room look like that you were just painted over nothing like it feels fully remodeled.

    I get there check in management states no one is allowed in room but one person I booked 2 bedrooms and had my wife and 3 kids with me which was over the limit the hotel allowed unwritten and nothing posted stating that of such in lobby or online just want my refund for bad marketing

The TV remote didn’t work… so we just watched one channel. We were only given 2 towels, and everything had stains. It’s fine for a night though, we’ve definitely stayed in worse.

    We didn't expect a "luxury" stay given the price and location. To their credit, the room was clean but in serious need of an upgrade/renovation. The vinyl floors were buckled, the bed linens appeared to be clean but were stained in places, there was what appeared to be some sort of overspray on the cabinetry/drawers. The bathroom was clean but there was very little hand soap in the dispenser. What little interaction we had with staff was pleasant, check in and check out was fine. As stated, we weren't expecting luxury accommodations, just a simple overnight stay at a reasonable price. This property met that criteria although with some rough edges.     We didn't expect a "luxury" stay given the price and location. To their credit, the room was clean but in serious need of an upgrade/renovation. The vinyl floors were buckled, the bed linens appeared to be clean but were stained in places, there was what appeared to be some sort of overspray on the cabinetry/drawers. The bathroom was clean but there was very little hand soap in the dispenser. What little interaction we had with staff was pleasant, check in and check out was fine. As stated, we weren't expecting luxury accommodations, just a simple overnight stay at a reasonable price. This property met that criteria although with some rough edges. Based on our experience, we're not likely to use this motel again.

Location was very acceptable- only a half mile from bus and ferry stops into Norfolk etc, with numerous fast food outlets and a large convenience store within a short walking distance. Hotel is generally quiet as is the neighborhood. Lots of incredible historic homes and churches nearby to admire. Room had all the items I needed to feel at home- microwave and mini-fridge.

    The family who seems to own/run the place seem nice enough; friendly people. I would ask them to tone down the fragrance that permeates the entire hotel. It's a nice enough smell... up to a point. Also, at night, the area around the hotel is very poorly lit. Feels unsafe.

    The bath tub was filthy looking. There was hair in the small hole( overflow opening) in the sink. The soap and shampoo dispensers were not full and seemed cheap. Therefore, you had to be careful you wouldn’t break it or knock it off the wall. There was free coffee but no continental breakfast. The staff were pleasant and accommodating as possible. Not enough towels or washcloths despite my room being listed for 3 persons.

    The only thing that I would recommend is that guests on the 2nd floor be reminded that there are people below them. Every night we could hear people walking, running and jumping around in the room above us until well after midnight. We could also hear the full telephone conversation of the man in the room next to us because he was so loud. Other than that the stay was great

    I have been to third world counties with better accommodations. I am not a hard person to please. We just need a clean safe room. This was the furthest thing from that. The property was extremely dirty. We arrived at 3:05 pm for check in, we were turned away until 4:10 pm. The rooms were not cleaned from the night before. The hallway smelled horrible, the carpets were dirty. The room was a non smoking room, smelled like smoke. Ashes were on the floor near the nightstand. The toilet seat was so loose I had to tighten it down. There were absolutely no hand towels, the face cloths were dark and dirty looking. There were no plastic cups or commodities normal rooms have. We did not shower there, we were afraid to do so. Needless to say we will not be returning to this facility.

    I checked in but couldn’t stay at the property. The scent of marijana was strong in the check in area and the outside looked area looked very unsafe. I am asthmatic and had booked a non smoking room so this could not work. I had to get other accommodations for the night.😡

    It was very very dirty place. Roaches insects were everywhere in the room. Rooms were stinking like rotten eggs. I would not recommend anyone to book this property even with free of cost. Generally, i don’t write reviews but this place was horrible.

    Me and my familys rooms smell moldy and bad I was in room 122 and my brother was in room 113. It was hard to sleep in the room cause of the smell and when I woke up on Sunday there was a dead water bug under the desk in my room and the and dead roache by the mini refrigerator. And I have taking pictures. After driving back home I developed a very deep cough and headache. I know what mold is cause I remolding apartment and many house in my time. I am certified mold detector. And my stay wasn't happy at all and my family. This is unacceptable and unhealthy for anybody stay.

    This hotel was not clean and was very run down. The staff didn’t care that items in our room needed repair - light and refrigerator. We informed the staff multiple times but nothing was done. They could have offered us a different room if they weren’t able to repair them. But no communication from staff at all. I would not stay here again.

    The property allows tenants with dogs. Barking dogs kept me up until 2am in the morning. Limited lighting in the room made it dark and it smelled like cigarette smoke in a "non-smoking" room.

    The room was okay until we realized that they had roaches. There were two little ones and then a giant one seemed to crawl out of the wall. We decided to leave and the front desk clerk gave us what seemed to be a well rehearsed corporate notice saying we couldn’t get a refund and I told them I wasn’t leaving without the money for the remainder of the stay and eventually the deposit was returned. Will not recommend and won’t ever stay again.
