Hotel San Valentino

Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Small outdoor pool for the size of hotel - loungers tightly packed together. Air conditioning does not come on until 10th June but did not specify this on booking.com. However, staff promptly sorted another room for us as we booked a room with air conditioning. Breakfast was basic. Hotel very dark and traditional.

Great spot with a nice spa. Most of the staff was very nice but a few of the staff members were a little short with me. I don’t speak much Italian so that might have been the reason.

My husband and I had a lovely time staying at Hotel San Valentino Terme. We loved the pool and spa. The staff were super helpful and always friendly! The bar area was a lovely place to hang out in the evening with great cocktails. Our room was always cleaned really well. The breakfast could be better with more variety and choices. The bed was slightly hard for us but overall the room was great.

Very charming and peaceful with lovely staff. The Thermie spa was amazing and a great experience. The location, the facilities and the service.

Private rooftop terrace accessible from my room, great value for money, relaxing pool areas, comfortable bed Breakfast was in secluded dark tables because good tables were kept for full-board guests that never showed up. Pools opened late and closed early, which made it almost impossible to use. Room was noisy because right next to the lift.

This is a lovely old hotel which seemed popular with Italians who have been coming for years. All the front desk staff; in particular Allisa, went out of their way to be helpful with my questions and requests. Pool was nice (even with a charge for towels). Breakfast was good and serving staff was attentive! Spa looked nice, but I didn't have any service. Really appreciated the owner's motorbike collection in the Lobby and the shuttle to the shopping area/center city. :o) I checked into my room, first impression was the view was nice; bath was updated ... but furnishings were pretty shabby and minimal. Unfortunately the a/c wasn't working well, and the room was next to the elevator. I requested and was given another room in the older section - no view, a twin bed, bath from 50"s and half the size. BUT, the a/c worked great and no elevator.

I booked a single and requested to upgrade to a double when my partner decided to join me. It took so long for a receptionist to reply me, the doubles sold out. The hotel was inflexible in rearranging my booking and I lost the entire booking amount paid? BAD SERVICE!

You could hear people shouting in the corridors in the morning and in the evening. I never understood the breakfast system - many of the seats were somehow reserved in advance. Moreover, there could have been more fruit and better quality prosciutto.

I liked that it was quiet and the staff was hospitable. The hotel is quite old-fashioned and brought me nostalgia to holidays as a kid. It had a great, clean pool area with snack bar where you can order lunch and a spa. A lot of elderly people seem to come here to relax. Breakfast was great! Everything is a bit old-fashioned, room, shower, and bed could use an upgrade. Still, it's good value for money. They also could provide more free towels, for example for the spa. The room is quite small.
