Nice area to stay.

Everything was perfect, except I had to take showers with lukewarm water.
- 5/5
This was a great place. Convenient location parking was great. Staff is amazing. Definitely recommend.
- 5/5
Clean rooms cheap parking and helpful staff.
- 5/5
Staff was very welcoming and helpful from the moment we walked through the doors. Every time we left the hotel and came back, someone at the front desk always greeted us. Self-parking was easy. We had a queen sized bed. Shampoo, conditioner, body gel, hand soap, and lotion all had the same great scent. Towels were luxuriously thick and absorbent! It did take the hot water a few minutes to heat up during the day (we ended up turning on the water while getting ready to shower), but it wasn’t an issue at night. The AC control was an older box with a knob that we weren’t quite sure worked? but it was always a comfortable temperature in the room, so we didn’t need to bother with it. The bedding was as comfortable as I remember when I last stayed here in 2022. I LOVE that they have a water refill station in the lobby with options for still, fizzy, and hot! They even had yummy decorated cookies out in the lobby one day. The water bowl for pets by the front door was a cute touch. We noticed that they rented out bicycles and while we didn’t do that, it’s something to remember for next time! Downtown Portland is the most bike-friendly area I’ve witnessed. Tipping for housekeeping can be done via QR code on a card that is left in the room- yay technology! Don’t forget to use your welcome drink coupon. Overall, it’s lovely place to stay and I will come back for my third stay, and all future ones! (Oh! And the breakfast downstairs in Bottle + Kitchen was great!)
- 5/5
Older hotel but was in a great location next to shopping. Quiet and nice. Super friendly staff.
- 5/5
Die to the festival or roses parade we were able to check in earlier than normal. And the notification prior about the road closers was a huge help NA
- 5/5
Close to all the fun stuff! No complaints!

We were absolutely blown away by our stay at Staypineapple. The front desk staff was insanely helpful and sweet. The hotel is quirky and has lots of character, but it is still clean and very comfortable. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Portland. Great location, too!! I would definitely stay here again
- 5/5
Great location, amazing staff!
- 3.5/5
The location was great, right across from the Willamette River, so the area is really walkable. The city fair was happening across the street when I stayed, which was a pleasant surprise! Close to the MAX, which was a plus. Fixtures were a little outdated. Otherwise, no complaints.
- 5/5
Air was not needed and could not park the first night had to park in ramp across street for $50 in 24 hour. The next night the hotel comped us parking. The rooms are clean and the staff is very nice.

Parking was convenient
- 5/5
This hotel is in an excellent location right on the waterfront. The rooms are beautiful, and the beds are super comfy—I had a great night's sleep. Another major highlight is the on-site restaurant; the food is excellent, and the early morning operating hours are incredibly convenient.

- 5/5
Great location, cute and cheery atmosphere with great perks like a complimentary drink! We had breakfast at the restaurant and the food and coffee was great! Kyle was a joy to chat with and a great server. The front desk staff were so friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and modern and beds cozy! We had an excellent stay!
- 5/5
We loved the Pineapple theme so much, my friend and I went and got a matching pineapple tattoo!!! Second time I've stayed there, and just love it. It is a bit small, but it has what you need. Location is not bad, I'd say the worst thing is the parking garage is not my fav, but everyone was very nice.
- 5/5
Our bed was in great condition, the bedding clean and well done up, and the bathroom clean, all which are important to me. We booked through expedia which did not indicate the bar/restaurant on site would be closed the days we stayed. There were food options close by , so not a big deal, but expedia should have included that info.

Staff. Micka and Kennedy were great
- 3/5
Highlight - incredible staff, with great recommendations and very friendly! Lowlight - Bathroom sink would clog during ever use, drawers didn’t fully / properly shut, our hotel fridge made our food soggy because the bottom would flood, bedding was strange and uncomfortable individual, twins sized covers, extremely thin pillows. Hotel restaurant closed two night of our stay, house keeping took a lightly used toilet paper and never once refilled it. We stayed 5 nights..
- 4.5/5
It’s was fun (children loved the gimmicks) and the staff was friendly. The walls are thin, so we heard the neighbouring room enjoying themselves…!
- 5/5
Hotel Rose is all about the location.
- 5/5
An amazing time as always with our family away from home at the Pineapple Rose hotel. The staff go above and beyond at this hotel every time we have the pleasure of staying here. Thank you guys for all you do.
- 4.5/5
The staff were very kind and helpful. The location was ideal for the events that we were attending. The bathrooms were a bit dirty. There was hair on the ground and in the towels from the last guests. The mini fridge was not cold enough for items, would not stay closed.

Only stayed 1 night was very Clean room and friendly staff was nice having check out at noon. Was able to sleep in and no rush to get out. Beds were pretty comfortable could have had a few more pillows. I probably should have asked overall was a good price on the room the 25$ parking was a little much but the parking did feel secure. I would recommend the place especially is you have your fur baby’s In tow. 😎

Incredible hotel right at the edge of downtown and the river. Very walkable to tons of great restaurants or the farmer's market on a Saturday. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful and offered tons of great suggestions for what to check out in the city. The hotel really was a highlight of our visit to Portland and made us love our stay.
- 5/5
This is our favorite place to stay in Portland!

- 4/5
Staff was great!
- 2/5
Bed was clean and well made but there was dirt on the walls and the shower walls and floor had something on them. When I came back to my room at the end of the night to my card did not work due to an issue with the latch, very frustrating, staff was extremely helpful with getting it fix and me in my room, but it was a frustrating thing to deal with at the end of a long night. Shower was awful for heat, took 15-20 minutes just for the water to get somewhat warm and the water pressure was awful.
- 4/5
Nice comfortable hotel about a 10 minute walk from centre of Portland
- 5/5
Loved the free water bottle, water filling station and coffee maker in the room. Great location.
- 5/5
Temp was great, best sleep i had all year, staff were friendly
- 2/5
It took hours to get our room. We had to downgrade so that we could be accommodated sooner. Staff did the best they could.
- 3/5
When we went to check in at 4.30, we were told our room might not be available and told they were understaffed. While I understand this happens, we weren’t offered anything and the front desk woman wasn’t very friendly. The room was a bit dingy but the location was great. All the other staff were very friendly!
- 4/5
Nice spot and clean. Water pressure was not great and the heating/cooling system was frustrating. We love how pet friendly they are and the staff was excellent.
- 5/5
The room was clean and comfortable. Loved the water bottle and refill station in the lobby. Enjoyed our free drink when we checked in. Easy self park. Will stay here again
- 5/5
Perfect hotel for traveling with my dog.
- 3/5
We have stayed at this property 4 times before and this was definitely the worst. Not horrible but can clearly tell things are getting dirtier and not as well taken care of. Our bathroom sink was clogged and didn’t drain the entire weekend. Shower head didn’t work properly and the water pressure was horrible. The lack of a refrigerator is less than desirable, would have been very helpful.
- 5/5
The beds were a bit small BUT we got the best comforters for each of us (4 girls in a 2 bed room) which was a pleasant surprise. Literally silk on my feet we all fan girled over the bedding. Area felt safe. Would stay here again if I traveled solo.
- 5/5
The room was spacious with a waterfront view, which I found out later was an upgrade specifically for me. The A/C and sink drain weren't working, but that got fixed on the same day. It was cool enough outside not to need the A/C anyway. You can't beat the proximity of this hotel to the water front parks and the rest of downtown. Just about everything I did was within walking distance. That was a major plus. All in all, I would recommend this spot to my friends when they visit.
- 1/5
There was no heat in the rooms and lack of portable heaters for guest
- 5/5
What a fun place!!! Bedding 2as amazing, fuzzy housecoats, in room coffee...delicious. Quiet, amazing staff. Easy to get location, onsite parking..easy walk to restaurants and shops. Onsite restaurant was really good!
- 5/5
Great!
- 3/5
The conditionig was not well. It was too cold and no way to control it in the room. They charge an additional $25 per night for parking.
- 5/5
My favorite place to stay
- 5/5
Friendly staff, nice rooms and location
- 5/5
It was great and close to a lot of great activities like the Saturday Market.
- 5/5
The room was nice and clean. Very comfortable bed and duvets. I brought my 2 dogs, and they loved it since the hotel is across the street from Waterfront Park. It is walking distance to Keller Auditorium. I definitely will be back! ❤️
- 5/5
Older property but the staff, especially Luz, were amazing! The bedding really is superb.
- 4/5
I enjoyed the dining in the hotel. The food was good. The shower gel smells amazing also. It's in a good location as well. I would stay here again
- 5/5
We were so pleased with their super clean rooms, European style comforter with freshly washed covers and a freshly washed cover for the throw pillow. Not one piece on the bedding was used by à previous guest! Also wonderful restaurants within just 2 or 3 minutes walking distance. Will make it a point to stay in their other locations too.
- 4/5
The staff was really nice and helpful! Very friendly for solo travelers! You’re near the park and some coffee shops are in walking distance! You get a complimentary drink, and the room was perfect for what I needed!
- 5/5
Strange and thr Tv didnt work either staff was great and the beds were great as well as the locetion
- 5/5
Good hotel
- 5/5
We had an amazing time staying at this hotel. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. If you’re looking for a great place to stay in downtown Portland on the west side, this hotel is definitely worth checking out. Thanks again for a wonderful stay, and I hope to see you again soon!
- 2/5
Check in is 4pm… our room, as well as many others had to wait. We weren’t able to get a room until 5pm. My friends had to wait up until 7pm! None of the TVs worked. No channels, nothing to watch. It wasn’t just our room our friends had the same issues. We had stayed here many times over the years. I think this was our last.
- 5/5
Most comfortable bedding ever!
- 3/5
The bad: The tv didn’t work as far as a channel or to cast my phone. I was told it was the whole place and they were working with the provider. The mini fridge didn’t work well. Small room and no fan or vent in the bathroom. Not enough towels, no washcloths. Charger stand’s usb-a ports didn’t work. Coffee machine in the room was inefficient and extremely messy, also doesn’t work well with the pineapple mugs. No creamer. No ice machine so we went down to the front desk for ice. No bottle opener for the complimentary beer (beach beer tastes like coors light). Men’s restroom in the lobby/restaurant was unpleasant and smelled awful. Sinks in the public restroom are set way back against the wall and have a lip of probably a foot- there is no way a wheelchair user could use them. Staff: check-in was super easy and the person at the desk was very kind. When I informed them about the tv, they explained and removed my amenities fee. They also very kindly and quickly provided ice. Check out, I thought was going to be a problem, but the person at the desk apologized for seeming to ignore me and addressed the other problems I reported & they comped my parking.
- 4/5
Clean room, staff was good.
- 5/5
There was an extra level of hospitality that I felt from the staff. I felt very welcomed and would stay again thank you.!
- 4/5
The staff was very welcoming. Loved the free water bottle in room, water refill station in lobby for sparkling or still water as well as the voucher for a free drink. The hotel itself is a bit tired and could use with a refresh. The hallway to room is a bit depressing in decor. The room was clean and bedding was comfortable. Lots of street noise during the day, but noise level went down in the evening. Overall, I would recommend this hotel because of proximity to downtown. Good value overall.
- 4/5
Lovely place outside of the unexpected fee.
- 1/5

The location is a major highlight—right in downtown and within easy walking distance of many attractions, restaurants, and things to do. It made getting around very convenient (e.g. Powell’s is a 15-20 minute walk). What truly stood out for us was how exceptionally dog-friendly the hotel is. They go beyond just allowing pets—they welcome them. From dog treats at check-in to a fun toy in the room (available for purchase), it’s clear they care about making pets feel at home. We needed to store our dog’s food in the freezer, and the staff handled that without hesitation. Speaking of staff—they were outstanding. Friendly, accommodating, and very willing to help, they elevated the overall experience. Parking felt safe and reasonably priced, which is always a plus in a downtown location. And the complimentary welcome drink for each guest was a nice touch that set the tone right from the start. Overall, this hotel combines great location, thoughtful amenities, and genuinely warm service. Highly recommended—especially if you’re traveling with your dog.
- 5/5
The staff was top notch and were incredibly nice and helpful. When I arrived the very nice woman behind the counter greeted me “you must be the birthday boy!” I was in town for work but it happened ti be on my birthday. She gave me an extra drink ticket for the bar and a parking pass. Would definitely stay with them again
- 5/5
The bed was so comfy!! We enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back. The breakfast was also amazing!

We didn’t use parking. The AC was very loud

The ac did not cool the room
- 5/5
Great location and staff. Loved the pineapple touches!
- 5/5
Bed is so comfy it’s easy to stay in bed . Staff are helpful and friendly . I would definitely come back to HR .
- 4/5
The one star off is just for no coffee/tea. We were here during a coffee upgrade and they had removed and not replaced the coffee machines on our floor. Wouldn't be so much of a big deal if it wasn't apart of the daily charge for special amenities on top of the hotels.com price. Overall a great stay and look forward to staying there again on my next Portland trip.
- 3/5
No clue as no one said no word about anything.
- 5/5
No pool. Moderate gym. Property small overall. Good food at restaurant
- 1/5
Really happy with the room, until we figured out there is no heat at all, and only 1 chair for two people, the sink didn't drain, very little light except bathroom and entry. Balcony no good at night, flood lights from parking lot across the street blind you. I paid 25 dollars to park and people parked so close to me I couldn't get in my car. Luckily and very helpful front desk clerk was able to get in my car and back it out for me. The guy named Kennedy gets 10 stars and the rest of the staff was excellent. I always leave a 20 dollar tip but not this time only because they couldn't break a 1 hundred dollar bill at the front desk. Maybe in this part of town they don't allow more than 20 dollars in the till due to high security risks. The neighborhood is unsafe. The parking area is unsafe.
- 3/5
Arrived at 4:30, check in is at 4. Room was not ready until after 5:15 which left me 5 minutes to change, do make up and hair for the event I arrived to attend! There was no promised robe in the room, no coffee maker, and other than two packages of Starburst and a Twix there were no other snacks available despite them being advertised as such. I was HIGHLY disappointed!
- 2/5
I took the train a very short walk to the hotel. $2.80 from PDX airport. Everything within walking distance. Parking garage seemed safe.
- 4/5
No air conditioning is rough when I sleep hot. Had to close the windows due to noise so the room became stuffy. Found out they dont actually have air conditioning when i asked, just fans they can supply.
- 5/5
Staff was great. Very good downtown location.
- 5/5
Stay there one night with my daughter we went and checked out voodoo donuts which was only about a 12 minute walk close to a lot of restaurants and there was an anime store My daughter wanted to go look at
- 5/5
Yes
- 3/5
The amenities were not available when promised. One of the robes had a stain on it before we even used it. There were two t-shirts from the previous guest under the bed when we got there. The balcony was filthy. The hotel TV channel showed an ad depicting room service (meaning food delivered to the rooms.) There's not. The building was being cleaned the day we arrived and was very loud and I couldn't hear a word the concierge said. But the location was excellent and the beds were super comfy.
- 3/5
Air conditioning wasn’t working, neither was the mini fridge
- 3/5
All in all, I feel what I paid didn’t exactly match up to what I was expecting. Our shower was not exactly clean, wasn’t the worst, but there was a particle that looked like a booger which I don’t prefer. There was some dirt/ fuzz under the two duvets they give you on each bed. Not the worst ever, but I do prefer extreme clean for how much it cost. The front desk, I did get helped by a very nice person, and I am so glad, because the other person seemed kind of dismissive. I like sheets! I really should have paid more attention to the description of the hotel, they do state that. But I do believe that’s the case because they just cover the mattress with flat sheet, and then a duvet. I’m not going to stay there again.
- 5/5
Nice, simple , and comfortable
- 5/5
Our room was so clean and fresh, super comfy bedding and the staff were amazing. Saraya at the bar was so friendly and helped us find a great spot for dinner!
- 5/5
Nice modern room. Great bed. Fun concept
- 4/5
The robes in the room were a nice touch
- 4/5
Staff is very nice and the food is good.
- 5/5
Love it there
- 2/5
Room did not have shampoo or conditioner
- 5/5
Was very convenient with onsite parking and staff was very friendly and accommodating
- 4/5
No microwave in room. Mini fridge didn't work. Room not swept/vacuumed well. Sheets were stained.
- 5/5
Staff is really graceious, friendly and helpful. I brought my dog and found that they provided a lot as well to help dog owners feel welcome. The only thing I could add is that you have to use QR codes to look at the bar menu and provide tips to staff.
- 4/5
Very nice but we had a ceiling fan in our room that we couldn't because according to maintenance there was no switch for the ceiling fan
- 5/5
The room was very comfortable and it's location is outstanding!
- 3/5
Parking is very limited here, which was annoying. If you can’t find a spot, you have to park either at a spot on the street or at a different parking garage. The hotel is dog friendly, which is awesome if traveling with your dog, but they don’t have a place on their lot for dogs to relief themselves, you have to cross the street to find a grassy area or walk to the waterfront park, about a block away.
- 1/5
Not good lots of crazy noice all night long
- 5/5
Fun place. Clean. Greate beds. Night life close by.
- 5/5
SIDE NOTE: Double check amenity fees and charges at check in and check out. I explained at check in that I did not have a pet and still had a charge for a pet on my reservation until Kennedy helped have that reversed and returned.
- 4/5
The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and this was a great location to be close to everything. Our room drain was clogged; that took two days to correct. The walls were also very thin. We had stayed at StayPineapple in Seattle... the quality of Portland just wasn't what we were expecting. We would stay again because of location- just need to have different expecgtations.
- 5/5
Great location. Super comfortable bed lives up to hype. Amazingly friendly helpful staff. Good coffee and free water.
- 5/5
The front end people are so awesome ❤️ it’s a great hotel in a wonderful location, but again, it’s the people at the front end, Elle or possibly Ellie, I’m so bad with names, I’m so sorry, but what a great experience she makes it.
- 3/5
The waterfront view room is very spacious, and the view is very nice, but it was a hot room.
- 5/5
Excellent staff good food
- 5/5
Absolutely loved this day! The facilities are super clean, the hotel is very clean, staff was super nice, and located in a wonderful location walkable too many things. Would definitely recommend and stay there again. Loved the pineapple theme adorable!
- 3/5
It’s a 3 star
- 5/5
Great location across from the waterfront park. Very dog friendly!
- 5/5
For people: The beds are comfy and we had a great view of the river. My only wish would be to include microwaves in rooms. We will definitely stay here again.
- 5/5
Probably my favorite hotel in Portland. Close to the food truck alley and shopping. Staff are amazing! I came down for my daughter’s soccer games and left my Kindle in the room. The front desk gentleman was amazing enough to mail it back home to me with a few cookies! We will always be back!
- 4/5
Everything was great except the hvac system
- 4/5
VERY comfortable beds & bathrobes. I enjoyed the complimentary beverage per guest at the bar, the refillable water bottle & filtered water dispenser in the lobby & the coffee & tea station in the room. Manager was very helpful & kind and was working all departments when necessary.
- 5/5
Clean rooms, comfortable beds, great professional and kind staff. Great option if you need to be close to OHSU (10 min drive) and right next to the trolley and MAX
- 5/5
Friendly staff. Clean rooms. Great location
- 3/5
They tacked a $25 amenities fee and parking was $25 a night when the listing didn’t indicate that was extra. The bar was also closed by 9pm. Kind of disappointing. Stumptown ‘view’ has lots of road noise and trolly noise.

fee) a stuffed dog named Dash for your pets which was waiting for us in our room when we checked in. They also provide you with a branded water bottle and have a water refill station in the lobby. Nice touch! Will be back soon.
- 4/5
The staff here is SO nice and friendly! Bed was comfortable, location was very convenient, overall lovely place. The only thing to note was that the room was loud and you can hear everything happening in adjacent spaces. We'll come again!

Staff were extremely friendly in the hotel was clean

Thank You Ellie, for helping to make each trip awesome!

- 4/5
We attended a special event nearby (Portland Winter lights festival) and wanted to walk; we felt safe as long as we were near people at the event. Glad to see Portland starting to recover from its recent homeless chaos and random violence! Our only complaint with the hotel was about the thoughtless, noisy people in the room directly above us.
- 5/5
Staff were all friendly and welcoming. Room was perfect! This is my favorite hotel in Portland!
- 5/5
Nice staff clean room. Comfy bed
- 5/5
Soft blankets, great staff
- 4/5
Staff was friendly
- 5/5
Staff was very kind and accommodating to my Grandson's.
- 4/5
The staff was very responsive and helpful. The room was clean. The bed was comfortable. The amenities were good, I especially appreciated the water filling station in the lobby.
- 5/5
Very inviting and dog friendly. They welcoem your furry family member and do everything to make your stay enjoyable. They were also within walking distance of everything I was there for.
- 2/5
The AC did not work. The bathroom did not have an exhaust fan. Early check in was a joke. Hidden fees not shown on this app. $25 a night parking fee. They charge you about $65 more over your room price for holding fee just in case you spend more.
- 5/5
Clean and cool place.
- 2/5
Need overall deep cleaning
- 3/5
Garage.. time to pressure wash
- 4/5
Great location for downtown events. Welcome drinks were appreciated.
- 5/5
Great bathroom and novel, inviting, cozy bed with a view. Staff were capable and gracious - thank you!
- 5/5
Clean room, great staff and perfect location for our weekend stay to check out the town.
- 5/5
Great service and amenities at a great price!
- 5/5
Room clean everything we needed.
- 3/5
The hotel, room, and staff were really nice. The area around the hotel has a lot of homelessness and drug use. My car was broken into in their parking lot. Staff helped me put plastic over the broken window and clean it up.
- 4/5
Staff was nice and the room and hotel were nice. The location was great for getting to and from local restaurants and bars, but there was a lot of homelessness and vagrancy in the area around the hotel.
- 5/5
Our family with our 2 dogs have been so welcomed here! We felt like family immediately, and all of the staff has been just amazing! Ellie, Luz, and Julie have been the best!
- 5/5
The room was spotless, the dog beds and puppy gear was very appreciated! Kennedy and his staff are amazing, and so warmly welcoming! Ellie was on staff the night we arrived, and several nights after that, we felt so at home with the hospitality shown to us! Julie working day shift also made us feel like part of the family! Can’t say enough good things about this hotel, but it’s definitely the staff lead by Kennedy that really make it extra special.
- 5/5
The room was very clean and the staff was awesome! I had a canceled flight and they were able to accommodate an additional night for me and provided any needed items. It's convenient for transit lines also.
- 5/5
It was fun. The amenities were great. Great price. Location was beautiful. Bed was VERY comfortable. And staff was incredible. Absolutely phenomenal. Parking was a little difficult but we found a spot and it didn't diminish the experience.
- 4/5
The check in staff was friendly and efficient in getting us checked in. She made the process smooth, and the drink coaster was a great touch. As I got to room the bathroom door wouldn’t close and the track needed to be screwed back in. The maintenance was fast at getting that taken care of while I ventured out. As I went to turn in a free drink coaster that was given at check in - was met with a rude bartender whom just assumed the coaster was the only drink I was gonna have, pointed to Lexi and said these drinks. Rude and unprofessional, definitely wanted to check out of hotel from that alone. Ended up finding cool bars around to make up for that. Will definitely stay somewhere else on next visit to Portland in a few weeks. Other staff was great at greeting us daily and bringing extra towels as needed.
- 2/5
Hallways need to be renovated and cleaned better. Beds were ok to good. Cleaning me general was really bad. Parking rules were not enforced, meaning there were non EV cars parked on the charging stations. Not going back, but if you only want to sleep a night, go for it.
- 1/5
AC was turned off due to weather. Understandable. Staff was friendly and welcoming. We were offered coasters for our complimentary drinks. When we went to trade in coasters bartender had a horrible attitude. We were going to start with our coasters then order more cocktails. Needless to say we left after our first drink. She needs a class in customer service.
- 5/5
Clean room and friendly staff! We look forward to staying again
- 3/5
Amenity fee charged upon departure! Hidden hotel rate. Be sure to have your free drink! Ask for a odd number room otherwise you will have the street noise to deal with. Hotel is older & feeling tired. I don’t like European style sheets (no top sheet) because you are hit or cold. Beds are otherwise comfortable.
- 5/5
Great place to stay! Staff was super nice and helpful. Bed was comfy and cozy. It was freezing outside but the room got toasty quickly so it didn’t take long to warm up. I hate picking hotels when I don’t know the area and you have to rely on pictures and descriptions but all were accurate. The only drawback was the stuffed puppy left on the bed. My kid had to have it. Now that I know I’ll request there isn’t one waiting to welcome us if I end up there with another one of my kids. My kid is super happy and my stay got $25 more expensive. Ha! I will definitely return if we ever end up in Portland again!
- 4/5
Staff was great, ac wasn’t set up but they gave us a big fan for the room. The bed had a damaged leg but they took down the info and sent the repair guy up. Honestly it was nice relaxing stay
- 5/5
The view of the Morrison bridge on-ramp is an entertainment HUB when on the 5th floor. Would request that room every time
- 1/5
Too loud
- 5/5
Bed and linen were super comfortable. Staff was very attentive.
- 5/5
Friendliness of the staff and their being so accommodating to our needs!
- 4/5
The staff was really nice and the bed was comfy. The rooms are fine but nothing special.
- 3/5
Just OK, old and little noisy, have to pay $25 for parking but still no hard to find…
- 4/5
We have stayed multiple times, and always enjoy it.
- 5/5
Super dog friendly and close to dog park!
- 5/5
We particularly enjoyed the dog-friendly rooms and overall atmosphere. The room was spacious and clean. The location was perfect.
- 5/5
Very dog friendly and very friendly staff!
- 5/5
Nice stay, helpgu
- 5/5
Friendly staff and nice rooms. Location and river view was excellent.
- 5/5
Yes
- 5/5
The rooms are clean, the robes are comphy, and the beds are comfortable.
- 5/5
The staff is always very nice and welcoming. We love the duvets
- 5/5
The staff were all very welcoming and kind. The room was clean and very comfortable. They also treated my dog like a rockstar. Loved it, and will stay again!
- 5/5
We love Stay Pineapple hotels! Super clean and trendy decor, incredible staff and service at every one of your locations we’ve stayed at! Great food on site! We love the bikes and water station, dog friendliness and the beds are extremely comfortable! When I stayed previously with my kids they especially loved the Dash Pineapple stuffed animal, we’re proud owners of two of them LOL
- 5/5
time staying here, loved the clean room A very relaxing, quiet and welcoming hotel. I recommend!!
- 5/5
everything was perfect! Very friendly staff- room was spotless!
- 5/5
The best!
- 5/5
First time customer. Very impressed with the hotel. Staff very friendly and professional. Check-in was fast, and we were greeted with two complimentary refreshments and pineapple-shaped cookies. The room was great and the view of the river was amazing. Location was excellent for our needs, with many eating establishments within walking distance. Loved the self-parking, and the $25 per night charge was well worth it and much lower than other places in downtown Portland. Will definitely stay there again.
- 4/5
Excellent value for the price of stay in downtown Portland. The staff was friendly and check-in was easy. In and out access to parking is seamless. Several restaurants and bars within walking distance. The bedding is a bit odd, no top sheet and two individual twin comforters on a king bed. Incredibly lumpy pillows and a very slow draining tub basin, but we made it work and overall had a nice stay.
- 3/5
Friendly and helpful
- 5/5
All was good
- 5/5
Great hotel, hotel manager is an awesome person. Kennedy’s great we will be going back there definitely.
- 5/5
This hotel is absolutely lovely. The staff was very friendly and helpful and room was perfect for our needs.
- 5/5
Great location near the river
- 4/5
Clean room and friendly staff, appreciated the welcome beverage. Hotel is centrally located an in walking distance of many eateries and cafes.
- 5/5
Love the StayPineapple brand hotels. Hotel Rose in Portland was fantastic. From friendly and helpful check-in staff to the comfort of the room and the location, everything was awesome.
- 5/5
The staff was extremely friendly and helpful with all of our needs. We asked for extra pillows and extra coffee and tea in our room and the staff had no problem with our requests. We had food delivered to us and we didn't have a plastic fork delivered with it. My husband went down to the front desk and the staff member found a fork for him, which was much appreciated. We had our dog with us and they welcomed him and we're so excited to see him every time we went by the front desk. They provided a bed and treats for our dog as well as doggie bags and a water dish. Unfortunately, the restaurant wasn't open the two nights we were there, so we didn't get to experience dinner in the restaurant. We didn't go down for breakfast either. But the restaurant/bar area looked like a really nice atmosphere, with a fire pit as well.
- 5/5
Great atmosphere and good location. Friendly staff.
- 5/5
Nice clean efficient stop.
- 4/5
There was not air conditioning but the windows opened and that was good enough. Rooms were clean. Parking was less expensive than other hotels in the area and easy to get in and out. Staff was fabulous.
- 4/5
My biggest complaint was about the noise. I was in Room 501. There is no window soundproofing and I was facing the river. Trains kept passing through at all hours. Had I not brought ear plugs, there was no way I would have been able to sleep at all. One of the windows (the right) did not open. Bed was comfortable. I appreciated the style and interior decoration of the room. I was one person so it wasn't too small. Clean. Thank you for the free water bottle. Charging amenities available. TV worked though not many channels offered. I didn't feel unsafe walking around the property at night. The outside noise was the biggest complaint.
- 5/5
Clean room. Great parking. Everything wonderful and loved the decor!
- 4/5
Room was clean and service was friendly although didn't care for the daily amenity fee of $25. We didn't use $25 worth of amenities.
- 5/5
Everything was perfect. The hotel was beautiful. The beds were so comfortable and the service was great from the hotel staff, the bar staff clearly hated their jobs. But everything else was perfection
- 5/5
Great location and the staff is always the friendliest
- 5/5
Loved this boutique hotel! All the little touches were great, including linens, complementary beverage, and beautiful view of the river!
- 1/5
The room was really hot no fan option. The cleanliness has gone down in quality from the last time I was there. The worst part was there was a dog that barked and whimpered all night. I understand this is a pet friendly hotel and I love seeing the animals but my lack of sleep was really upsetting. Owners need to control their pets better. I was very disappointed on this trip.
- 5/5
Great service. Clean room.
- 3/5
Room was clean albeit well worn. I found the bedcover origami frustratingly tough to figure out, even with instructions. Staff were friendly enough. Good coffee in dining area (complementary) and delicious breakfast (had to pay).
- 3/5
It was very noisy and there are amenity fees when you check out. Parking is $25 and the lot connected to the hotel is very small so don't expect to find a spot every night in the immediate parking on site.
- 5/5
The rooms were not as big as it showed on advertising
- 3/5
Room HVAC didn’t work effectively. Weak water pressure in shower and very slow to heat up. Staff very cordial.
- 5/5
Staff is amazing!
- 5/5
Spotless room
- 5/5
We had a great time. Thank you again
- 3/5
Second time we’ve been here but we’d go again for another downtown experience. These things were very minor. A cute place, fun atmosphere. And they care about the animals. 💜
- 4/5
Everything is good
- 5/5
Staff was nice
- 5/5
Everything was great
- 3/5
When we arrived we were told that there was no HVAC.
- 3/5
The air system was antiquated, the area was sketchy, the property was rundown, but the staff was very nice.
- 5/5
This place was so cute! Loved the reusable water bottle and buyable stuffed animal that donates to an animal shelter. I will definitely be staying here again!
- 5/5
Listen the Rose Stay pineapple is my go to Hotel when I'm visiting Portland and travelling through. I LOVE this hotel--the location a stones throw away from the Waterfront, free bike rentals, complementary drinks in the bar/restaurant, the friendly staff, the free stainless pineapple water battles and refill station, the free cookies and even moreso the super comfy beds and duvets!! Ahhh..those beds holds me hostage!! PINEAPPLE me plz and Thank you!!
- 5/5
Great location and staff
- 2/5
AC was not working properly. Carpets looked like they haven't been vacuumed in a month. Toilet moved when you sat on it. The more expensive room with a view over the river was very noisy because of the heavy traffic on tjat side and you could smell car fumes inside the room.
- 5/5
Extremely friendly staff! Really loved the quirky but extremely fun pineapple theme!
- 5/5
Cute rooms
- 3/5
Little bit of an older hotel. The rooms are simple but very clean & the beds are comfy. Parking is a breeze and great shopping & fun restaurants are just up the street. Great If you want something in the heart of downtown Portland!
- 5/5
Great staff and unique
- 5/5
staff was amazing room was clean and comfortable
- 1/5
Rooms smell pretty bad. Overall very rundown place. Bathroom outdated
- 3/5
On top of room payment thru Hotels.com, was charged a guest amenity fee amounting to over $24.95. No explanation.
- 5/5
It was clean and quiet
- 3/5
The air conditioning wasn’t working properly and it was extremely hot and muggy in the room.
- 5/5
Room was clean and had a coffee pot, but no creamer. Room was updated and in good shape. Heard train whistles all night long though. Good sandwich at the bar! Parking ramp very tight and reeked of pot. I had to fold my mirrors in to get into a spot. Word to the wise - back in!
- 3/5
Nice enough hotel in a easy to access location. My main beef is they charged $25/day for parking although this wasn’t stated on the hotel description. Additionally, all bedding is down, so my allergies were in overdrive. They have a restaurant but it was closed on the Tuesday evening we tried to eat there.
- 5/5
Great
- 1/5
I thought this would be cool to experience. It looked fun online. However they charge a fee for the area you’re in. And I’ll tell you what, it was awful. There was someone in a bush screaming and there was yelling all night right outside the window. The parking lot is really small. It’s just way over priced.
- 5/5
Great!!
- 5/5
We’ve stayed at this hotel before, and we always have a good visit. The hallways may be old but the rooms are very clean and nice. It’s easy walking access to a lot around Portland, we never felt unsafe walking about the area. Big shout out to Kennedy at the front desk - he was wonderful!
- 5/5
Staff was very friendly, and our dog went with us.
- 5/5
This hotel is in a great location. Unfortunately the downtown area is a GHOST town at night. The unique location is an excellent value. Rooms are spacious and comfortable.
- 4/5
Staff was wonderful, parking was convenient, room was clean. air conditioner could’ve been better.
- 3/5
A lot of hair in the shower. Hallways were very dirty. A lot of noise.
- 5/5
Stayed for 2 nights for Portland marathon. It’s a perfect choice for the race. Starting and ending spots are both right at the hotel. Easy in and out even during the time of blocked traffic during the race time. Staffs are super nice too.
- 3/5
There was no heat or a/c. They said they are “between seasons”. It was freezing and no one was ever at the front desk or around the hotel. It has huge balconies but they are filthy and littered with cigarettes. There are limited food options, and the mini fridge was useless - it barely fit 2 water bottles. Incredibly dog friendly and spacious room. Could be a nice place if they had a staff to take care of it. They never said hello when I walked through the front lobby, they were always on their phones.
- 5/5
Hotel was in a great prime location. Loved the complimentary drinks. One thing, the air vent and ac were very bad. We ended up waking up sick- stuffy. I think the hvac needs new clean filters. Overall, would stay there again.
- 5/5
Parking was convenient and rooms were clean
- 3/5
No screens on windows, no AC (they did provide fan), the safe didn't work and 1st and 2nd room smelled of cig smoke. But it was very clean, the staff was friendly and id stay again.
- 5/5
Very clean, super friendly staff, and easy to navigate the area. The hotel restaurant was closed while we were there, and they offered a complimentary drink from the cold case. It was fun to try something new. There’s a lot of good dining options that are within a 15 min walk. The park overlooking the river was well lit and had many joggers, even in the evening. Convenient location to the airport as well. I would definitely stay here again!
- 5/5
Friendly staff, clean rooms. My only suggestion is to have the hallway carpets cleaned.
- 4/5
Na
- 5/5
Way better than expected from start to end. They had one of, if not the most, comfortable beds I've ever slept on in a hotel. Highly recommend.
- 5/5
Otis, my lovely black Lab enjoy staying at Staypineapple Rose Hotel! The rooms are always clean and the staff is the friendliest of any hotel we have stayed in! We will be back!
- 5/5
You can never go wrong with a StayPineapple hotel. Great stay. Great sleep, great everything.
- 5/5
Clean rooms, hall way carpets could use a clean
- 5/5
This is my favorite weekend getaway place. It is luxurious and casual at the same time. the little touches that make you feel special, the water and cookies, the doggie bowls everywhere, the fantastic front staff and bartenders -- all so good. And the location allows for me to get to the Rose Garden or Zen Garden easily, or just walk to an incredible massage at The NOW, or fantastic sushi at Hamano, all walking distance from the water front gem. Love this place.
- 2/5
Room was not clean, and there was hair in the shower. Cabinet door was falling off.
- 4/5
The open windows option wasnt enough for this perimenopausal woman 😂
- 2/5
We decided to give the pineapple rose and another chance. This time during our stay, we had another leak. Water leaked all over our luggage and clothes. Someone needs to check on all the piping in this hotel. It was the second leak in three stays here. We usually love this place but lately it’s been a little disappointing.
- 4/5
The Bottle + Kitchen food was so good!! Highly recommend the nachos and spicy chicken burger. The only complaints we had were that the walls have next to no sound-proofing (and we unfortunately had neighbors arguing all day and night), and that no one answered our calls from the room when we tried a couple times. Otherwise, great stay! Clean rooms, comfy beds. (We unfortunately I didn't see any dogs 😔😉)
- 5/5
Love there naked blanket
- 5/5
It's such a great spot in a wonderful town. forget the Faux News lies about Portland, the people here are beautiful, friendly, vibrant and they love their community. That attitude is reflected at The Rose and I will definitely stay here again.
- 5/5
Adorable rooms with very cute pinnapple accents everywhere. The beds were extremely comfy! Rooms were lovely and good size. Free beverage and waterbottle was a nice touch. The area is ok, walkable to everything downtown but many streets in surrounding areas do have homeless population, although seems it might be quite a large area of that. We still walked around at night and felt fine, but were somewhat cautious.
- 5/5
Hotel is easy to access and staff is friendly. Due to location, the road noise was loud. Bed was comfortable.
- 5/5
Staff was cool it took my deposit
- 5/5
Only feedback is food should be available later in the evening. Even a simplified menu would be appreciated. Sucks to work late then have to go back out for food because you missed the 9pm dinner cut off.
- 5/5
I love pineapple hotels! The toiletries are stocked and they have the most luxurious towels. Afternoon desserts in the lobby, complimentary beverage, pet friendly, comfortable bed with down comforter, spacious room. Will definitely stay again.
- 5/5
Perfect location for our Portland stay. Walking distance to so many restaurants and attractions. Hotel is clean and vibrant. Front desk staff are wonderful. Room was beautiful and the bed was super comfy. We enjoyed our stay and if we get back to that area we would definitely stay there again. I highly recommend this hotel.
- 4/5
The staff was very nice. Parking was easy. Enjoyed being able to walk and get to food or shopping without having to take the car.
- 5/5
Everyone we encountered at Hotel Rose was incredibly friendly, welcoming and accommodating. Love the philanthropic mission! The robe and bed were super comfy and I really loved the reusable water bottle and had my fair share of sparkling water! Location was awesome, close to the Saturday Market and Tri Met stops for anywhere you want to go! We'll definitely come back! We appreciated the welcome drink! Saraya in the bar/restaurant was very friendly and we enjoyed visiting with her - the food was good, too!
- 5/5
The staff were very accommodating and conscientious I appreciate them to the utmost!
- 5/5
Loved being able to use the bicycles to ride around town and the staff was very informative and helpful!
- 5/5
The Front Desk Staff were terrific and very helpful with good places to go, and good places to eat! I appreciate their attentiveness.
- 4/5
Nice place but they charge an extra $25 for parking and $28 for hotel fees after you pay Expedia for booking? $53 dollars extra plus what Expedia charges? Not a good deal…. All the fees should be included Expedia….
- 4/5
Bike loaner was great
- 4/5
The staff was very helpful and welcoming. The room was clean and the bed was one of the best on our trip down the west coast. I like some of the extras provided by Pineapple hotels. Bikes were provided for free to explore the city.
- 4/5
My room was not ready and waited almost 2 hours past check in time
- 5/5
Nice
- 5/5
It was a good location- easy to get to from the airport. Very friendly staff- rooms were great and very quiet. One elevator was not working-- only negative. I would highly recommend.
- 5/5
We stayed with our dog and it was a rad pet parent experience. We will definitely always rebook when we’re in town.
- 5/5
Great, welcoming hotel! Super convenient to downtown Portland and easy to get to the highways and out to the surrounding area. Afternoon snacks and coffee were great, and staff was wonderfully helpful with recommendations. Highly recommend!
- 5/5
Very corteous and responsive staff.
- 5/5
Rooms were very comfortable. The only thing we didn’t like was the bar does not open until 4 pm
- 4/5
Nice spot.
- 4/5
The street along the river had some traffic, so there was some loud car noise till past midnight. Parking spots are very tight, more for compact than mid-size SUVs, and not enough. The hotel has some way of finding more parking though. After checking in fairly late in the evening, found the toilet kind of blocked with very slow draining. Mentioned it to the front desk, and they gave me a plunger to clear it myself. Well, I'm capable of doing it and did clear it, but would expected the hotel maids should have found and fixed the issue before guests' arrival, hence deduction of a star.
- 4/5
In addition, the room was very comfortable, very clean, and very well equipped. The device-to-TV streaming mechanism was not working, but that was the only (extremely minor) thing that wasn’t perfect. The parking was a little sketchy, but it’s Portland. The space I pulled into had someone’s sandals, a bowl, and broken automotive glass. Didn’t like that, but someone cleaned most of it up the next day. They have four EV charging stations, which is great, and there was a cone with an old note that looked like they’d block one off for you if you asked. Price wasn’t amazing, on top of the parking fee, but mention that at the desk and see if they’ll help you out.
- 5/5
We were on the fifth floor with a river view, which was pretty quiet. It was easy to walk to downtown and Old Town plus over to east Portland. Great customer service and they make you feel very welcome.
- 3/5
The bedding is comfortable and lobby ambiance pleasant as with all pineapple hotels. But this hotel itself is old and a bit rundown. Hallway carpets old and stained. Walls are thin, we could hear the noise outside and our drunk neighbors all night. The bathrooms lack ventilation and the grout looks old/dirty/patched with wrong color. I expected more.
- 1/5
This hotel does not have ac. Its old rundown and dirty. Would stay absolutely anywhere else. Fire alarm went off multiple times overnight and had to evacuate rooms. Homeless in parking area. AVOID!
- 5/5
Such a cute hotel! We had a great stay. Sadly missed out on the cookies by minutes (3:30-6:30pm) but the complimentary beer/wine, the soft bedding and towels, free water bottles/easy refills and more made this a unique stay that stands out compared the to other hotels. The location is an easy walk to the river and to restaurants downtown. Super friendly staff. Wish we could have stayed longer to take advantage of the other amenities. We would 100% return and look for their hotels in other cities. (Note - parking on ground level was tight but the underground level accessible from the side of the building had plenty of space. Since it isn’t accessible from the ground lot, it made us panic for a minute that there was no parking.)
- 3/5
Shower pressure could be better but a excellent staff
- 5/5
Hotel was super cute, room was really nice. The only thing I’d say is the lighting in the bathroom was really dim which sucked for doing hair/makeup for a night out. Theres homeless people everywhere but you’re in Portland so what do you expect I guess. Otherwise the food was fantastic and the staff were friendly.
- 5/5
Everyone was sweet! The cookies were delicious, rooms were clean and cozy and the view of the river was glorious to wake up to every morning. I hope to get to stay there again!
- 5/5
Staff & service was top notch! Rooms were clean and quiet. Biggest downside was parking was pretty limited.
- 5/5
all good
- 5/5
.
- 5/5
Convenient to places we were going and transportation links. Just remember that housekeeping only performed after 2nd night; so, don't automatically toss that comfy bath towel to the floor.
- 5/5
The staff are incredibly helpful with the whole process & offering support. The facility is clean and well kept. It's in a great location and walking distance to most things you're interested in.
- 5/5
This was my 3rd time staying at the Portland Staypineapple. They have ample parking for less than other hotels in the area. Just don't park right behind the laundry room because you're car will be covered in lint. They give you a free refillable water bottle, and they have a filtered water dispenser in the lobby with cold, sparkling, and hot water options. They also have free pineapple shaped sugar cookies in the afternoons. The rooms are not carpeted, they have luxury vinyl flooring which feels so much cleaner. The room and bathroom seem a bit more spacious than other hotels I stayed at in Portland. The staff is also very helpful and friendly. The cons are that the mini fridges in the rooms are very small. The water pressure in the shower isn't too great. But they remedied that for me by changing the shower head. The rooms don't have microwaves, but they have some you can borrow if they aren't already taken. The gym is extremely small. It has 1 treadmill, 2 ellipticals, 1 weight bench and a small assortment of dumbbells; either very heavy or very light, but none in between. I extended my stay in Portland and booked a different hotel. I'm writing this from the other hotel now and am really regretting that I didn't just extend my stay at the Staypineapple. I just booked my next trip to stay here again in 2 weeks.

- 4/5
The blanket style was...interesting, right by the on/off ramp so very loud but wasn't terrible
- 5/5
Great stay!
- 4/5
Very nice place with excellent staff. The room was spacious and the beds were amazingly comfortable. I was a bit disheartened to find out I was charged a daily “amenities fee” that was not divulged to me when I checked in and only made aware of after a deep dive into my original reservation upon being charged in excess after checking out. The area is also infested with homeless and drug addicts. Over all I do recommend this hotel but be aware of hidden charges that will out this property way more expensive than others nearby.
- 5/5
I love coming to Hotel Rose, Staypineapple. The check in is easy, the price is amazing, the place is spotless and luxurious bedding and a small restaurant on site. I was disappointed to find out after arrival that the restaurant was not open on Mondays and Tuesdays -- but the areas is safe and walkable so we went out and left the car at the hotel. There are wonderful places to eat nearby and museums etc. The bedding is to die for!! I always get waterfront view although the trees have grown to block the river, it is my preference --- AND they are pet friendly. Water dishes on the ground in the lobby, they are welcome... not just accepted. Great hotel!!
- 5/5
I love the comforters. I sleep so soundly wrapped up in one. I love the dog amenities.
- 5/5
Nice!
- 5/5
It was a very cool spot and the service was excellent! Such a cute area thank you so much :)
- 4/5
I paid extra for early check in and the hotel wasn’t able to accommodate, which was fine, they took the charge off. And we were able to park and wonder the town. However when we came back at 4 for check in our room and several others were still not ready. We had a couple drinks in their restaurant and tried again at 4:50 and our room still wasn’t ready. At that point I said that answer was not going to work. We had an event planned that night and needed to get ready and then they were able to switch us to a room that was ready. The rest of our stay was fine. Staff was nice, their restaurant was a little expensive compared to areas to eat around the hotel but it was convenient and delicious. Room was nice.
- 5/5
The complimentary cookies, coffee and refillable water bottles were a nice added touch!
- 5/5
Good location very friendly staff.
- 5/5
Was nice and clean
- 1/5
Pillows had horrible smell, shower floor looked like health hazard, room door continued to jam, no listing of TV shows- had to play wheres waldo, no Netflix, carpets in hallways stained, parking ceiling so low that when i opened back of my car trunk it chipped paint.
- 5/5
Helpful staff, easy access to downtown and river walk.
- 3/5
Love the location. The lobby and restaurant are great. The room was ok. It had a mildew smell. The bathroom was my main issue. The hair of the previous occupant was still lingering around on the tiles and on the shower wall. Otherwise it was clean and the staff are the best.
- 2/5
We had to move rooms because our room was basically falling apart , smelly and dirty. The balcony was nothing great , loud outside and the chairs were dirty . The lamp once moved had dust and dirt fall out of it and wouldn't stand stand up straight . The cabinet with thr fridge was wfling apart . The hallway smelled like smoke and had so much air freshener to cover up the odor. We were moved from a double to a single without being told . the view was better but the windows were covered in dust . The lamp shade had splatters on it . The elevator had a card reader but didn't matter , not very safe. We asked for our parking fees to be waived but she only took off one night out of two . No amenities here except free water bottle . There were way better hotels at the price point . This is a glorified motel .
- 4/5
The extra $25 to park is ridiculous!!!
- 5/5
Can’t say enough great things about this hotel! Staff, room, location, parking-everything was great. One of the best places I’ve stayed.
- 5/5
It was my first time in Portland ! I had such an amazing experience with this facility and staff ! They gave me tips on places to see and recommendations for amazing spots nearby !
- 5/5
This was our second time staying here and it was great both times. The beds are super comfy and the rooms are nice. There's also the restaurant and bar downstairs which has good food for a decent price. There's also plenty of other places to eat including a food truck area a few blocks away.
- 5/5
I loved the location. It was close to everything we wanted to do. Staff was very friendly and loved the bedding!!
- 4/5
If you’re looking for a place to stay close to the waterfront this place is perfect. The furniture in the room was pretty beat up. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. It’s a no frills hotel but the location can’t be beat.
- 3/5
Beds and pillows are extremely comfortable. Great customer service overall.
- 2/5
Car was broken into in the hotels parking garage. They did comp out stay which we appreciated but that does not cover the costs of the items that got stollen.
- 5/5
Stayed here on the 4th of July. Easy check in. Super convenient for Bluesfest and fireworks
- 5/5
I stay here every time I come to Portland. I love the staff, the location, and the free beer!
- 5/5
The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, always ready with helpful recommendations and a smile. The lobby and rooms are stylish, fun, and full of personality, just like you'd expect from a Staypineapple property. Our room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable, with cozy beds, high-quality linens, and thoughtful touches like the pineapple-themed decor and complimentary snacks. One of our favorite things was the naked experience—super soft bedding and individual duvets made for an amazing night’s sleep. The hotel also offers complimentary bikes, which made it easy to explore the city in a fun and active way. Everything about our stay felt relaxed and welcoming. It’s clear the team at Hotel Rose takes great pride in making each guest feel special. We’ll definitely be coming back and recommending this place to friends and family visiting Portland!

O.M.G. I’ve stayed in my fair share of hotels but Hotel Rose by StayPineapple sticks out thanks to their amazing customer service and comfortability. From the complimentary water refill stations, cloud-like beds and blankets, bathrobes, and most notably the staff, we enjoyed our stay so much more than we anticipated. The staff was incredibly welcoming, funny, & helpful. I worked in hospitality for over a decade and can’t say enough how impressed I am with the guest service here. The location is also fantastic with everything you need in walking distance. Don’t skip a sunset walk along the river!!

Great location. Walkable to restaurants and it’s located in front of the river. Staff was amazing. Definitely will be staying here next time

It was a nice atmosphere and staff was helpful. Easy walk to everything in downtown area. Was a bit loud at night from the street side window but not awful. I would stay again.

We have stayed at this property several times. Always great staff and rooms.

Rooms facing river had lots of traffic noise. Pet perks nice.

Pros: the location was great and right across the street from the scenic river, the amenities are good, reusable water bottles are provided with coffee in the room, the bedding is always super comfortable, staff is always really friendly. Cons - the rooms were just ok, nothing jazzy at all, there wasn't coffee in the lobby in the am :( the restaurant had very limited hours.

I absolutely loved my stay here! I felt very welcomed and the beds were so comfortable. Will definitely be back

The property seems to be an older building that was updated somewhat. I’ve stayed at other Pineapple hotels that were definitely a bit more updated. This was an ok place to rest for one night to catch our plane. Staff is super friendly and helpful!!

I love the funky spunky feel of the space. Great view and staff. The restaurant that is connected has incredible food and the bartender was amazing.

Great, helpful staff.

It is in a very good downtown location, adjoining waterfront park. I found good dining locations. immediately next door is the access to the Morrison bridge so there is considerable traffic. However, I really did not hear the traffic. Staff were very accommodating, and I was even able to check in early.

I can’t say enough great things about this hotel! Welcoming upon arrival, easy check in, the welcome drinks were a refreshing perk to end our day. I loved the uniqueness of the hotel with the bedding and the modern bathroom.

Smells like cigaret and lots of added fees, $25 service fee (felt very sly), $25 parking fee, $30 dog fee. Make sure to add that to the price Expedia gives you. Adds a whole bunch more money!
