Guests generally appreciate the friendly and helpful staff, as well as the hotel's location. However, parking is a common issue, with many guests finding it expensive or difficult to find. Some guests also mention cleanliness issues in the rooms and common areas.

Hotel is immaculately designed and clean. My room was spacious and had everything I needed.
- 3/5
Everything was five stars except for the parking situation and the bums rush we got from the cleaning crew starting an hour before checkout time.
- 5/5
Staff was super friendly, and the room was neat and clean and spacious.
- 4/5
Excellent location. Room was clean and very quiet. Easy walk to the riverfront.

The property was in a great location, close to good restaurants and coffee shops. In addition, it was within a short walking distance to the Willamette River waterfront with a nice park, marina and excellent walking paths. Unfortunately, the breakfast fell short of my expectations. They ran out of food, juice and and most importantly coffee before the end of breakfast and did not bring out more.
- 4/5
Everything was fine. Convenient location ... clean rooms ... helpful staff. We stayed a week and had one week end day where the breakfast was not good as it seemed they were short-staffed and food service was not very good. If not for this one morning foible the stay was "excellent"!
- 5/5
Kitchen was great to have and was well stocked.
- 1/5
Hall way cleanliness and room cleanliness were absolutely poor. Breakfast was mere made shift
- 1/5
A wonderful stay for my first visit to Portland. Glad I chose Hyatt House, rooms were spacious and very central to all the hotspots of Portland. 10/10 would book again, staff were extremely helpful. Great stay.
- 5/5
Pull out bed was uncomfortable but other than that the hotel was great.
- 5/5
Everyone was very nice and welcoming
- 5/5
Perfect for business travelers. Nice room layout. Breakfast was the perfect start to the day.
- 5/5
Our room needs a little extra attention to cleaning but bed was clean and comfortable

M first time in Portland. The hotel staff was a great help with ideas on places to visit. The hotel was conveniently located near the Trolly.
- 5/5
Clean and great service
- 4/5
The staff was wonderful and gave us an amazing room with a river view. I would have loved to give this 5 stars across the board but the kitchen and bathroom floors were very sticky. The breakfast was cleaned out with no food, plates or coffee but the staff was working very hard to try and keep up. My biggest complaint is allowing pets on upper floors(they should only be allowed on the lowest floor for a number of reasons). The first night the dogs on the top floor directly above us had the zoomies several times between midnight and 3 a.m. Running so fast and hard that they were moving furniture across the floor. When they started howling on the second night the hotel finally talked to the owners. I love dogs but they shouldn’t be on an upper floor, not sure why all hotels don’t put them on the lowest floor.
- 5/5
Because the staff was not Prepared for the guests . They ran out of food and plates and silverware. The couch in the room is really low To the ground so hard to Get Up. Positive checking in and out was east and simple. I enjoyed the pool. Being downtown Portland the hotel was not that hard to get to.the bathrooms in the room were clean and had the showers were refreshing to take a shower after a long day.
- 5/5
Great room, location, and breakfast. Clean, comfortable, and spacious rooms.
- 5/5
Very polite staff and very helpful and promp with amenities when asked
- 5/5
Beautiful hotel with prime quiet location. The room felt like an apartment with a lot of space my family (3) love it. Our two year old loved the window shades!
- 4/5
Hotel was great. Clean, updated, and all around nice hotel. Parking is a royal pain. Street parking almost non existent. Valet parking at hotel. Public parking garage just down the street. Beautiful area. Easy walk to the river and park.

great staff; nice breakfast; convenient location
- 5/5
Breakfast included suites were big and comfy and well designed Value for money Comfy beds Kids and pet friendly Pool was good tongs in the kitchen for cooking in apartments ist morning very busy and all food ran out and was a mess but staff were good organising food and extending breaky time. More kitchen staff needed to cope with the hotel being at high occupancy. Food was beautiful and great variety when available. Parking was expensive should do a package with it included especially for people travelling and the exchange rate isnt great for us,so makes parking fee unaffordable and a deterrent from staying. If we didnt have a disabled pass and could utilise the free parking on the streets surrounding the hotel. Although that was also difficult to navigate with all the rules and regulations.
- 5/5
So comfortable and had great privacy. It almost felt like home will stay again when visiting Portland.

Keep in mind the valet parking cost of 55 dollars per night which seemed expensive to us and that is the only one parking optipn available in the hotel.

Great place to stay!
- 5/5
Beautiful rooms. Great workout room. Helpful staff went above and beyond. Located next to a trolly stop right into downtown! Right down the street from river walking path and beautiful public garden. I wish I had asked for a room with a better view.

Everything thing was wonderful, breakfast was disappointing! Miss the omelet bar!
- 5/5
It was a nice stay and close to downtown would definately stay again .
- 5/5
Great place, great staff, and everything was clean and well maintained. Also, the free breakfast is a great value—it’s a full spread.
- 5/5
Clean facility, clean room, helpful staff, can’t ask for more than that when staying at a hotel. I would definitely return.
- 4/5
Booked this room after staying at a very sub-par hotel a few miles away. This was a welcome reprieve from the prior experience. The staff was helpful and although parking was sort of spendy, I was glad to have the valet experience. We stayed in the multi-bed suite with two young children. We enjoyed the pool although we were somewhat disappointed there wasn't a hot tub.
- 5/5
Kept area and not in the busiest side of downtown. Coffee and restaurant downtown the street, quiet neighborhood. River walk to ride bikes or walk.

Great location, clean and really specious rooms.!! We loved our stay here
- 5/5
I don’t like that you can’t take breakfast to your room and there’s no to go containers. I was very disappointed that the room it wasn’t cleaned properly with Tylenol pills on the ground and the cups in the cabinet were dirty.
- 5/5
The location is great, a few min walking to the water front and it’s in a relatively new, clean and quiet area of downtown. The property is maintained well and comfortable. Staff are friendly.
- 4/5
Studio suite wasn’t really equipped for four people as advertised. For example the kitchen island only had one chair.

We had a great stay at the hotel. We were greeted by friendly staff, had a nice room with lots of space and comfort. We enjoyed the generous breakfast and the proximity to OHSU. We hope to return soon to this lovely hotel.
- 5/5
Our stay went very well. The room had a glorious view, with floor to ceiling windows. There was a living room and bedroom so I was able to watch TV late into the night while my roommates slept. I would definitely stay there again.

The outside BQ area needs to be tended to. I had to clean it myself. It had not been cleaned in awhile. Other then that it was very nice.
- 5/5
The hotel is on a safe, quiet street with self-parking close by. It was walkable to the downtown area and along the river. There were several restaurants nearby. A public transportation spot was just across the street.

Breakfast was top notch!

Loved this hotel and the guy at the bar was very cool
- 3/5
We have stayed here several times as our son lives in Portland. This time was very different. Our room was cleaned one time in 6 days. Had to keep asking front desk for towels. When we td them what was going on they just oh. No apology or I will take care of it for you. Didn’t clean the next day after that conversation. I finally spoke to the manager on our last night there and she apologized. She said the least I can do is have someone empty your trash, that didn’t happen. I think it’s time to move on from this hotel.
- 1/5
- 4/5
It's a nice place. comfortable, clean, you feel safe, a good price, nice breakfast, great location.

Muy limpio, pero no tiene estacionamiento y sale muy cara el valet parking
- 4/5
It was a nice stay for our family. I know they offer a restaurant but it has very limited items so we ended up going down the street to eat. Staff were nice and professional.
- 5/5
Every time is a great place to relax, everything is clean, friendly
- 5/5
Hotel was clean and staff was friendly. The surrounding area was quite and felt safe.
- 5/5
All staff were helpful and courteous. The room was spacious, the kitchen was fully stocked with supplies, the bed was firm and comfy, and the bathroom was huge and came with amazing amenities. Breakfast was free, but did have some questionable foods (powdered eggs), but it was clean and well-maintained. The location was perfect, offering closeness of downtown, but quiet and picturesque views of the south riverside. 10/10, would recommend.
- 5/5

- 4/5
I would stay at this hotel again.
- 5/5
Good location, clean
- 3/5
The hotel is an older building in need of being upgraded. The pool looked nice but the top from water line had enough scum on it for someone to be able to scratch in a message in it. Carpets were loose in areas and the bathroom door was difficult to open and close. Had a bit of an odd smell. The best part were the staff very kind and engaging.
- 5/5
Nice location
- 5/5
Room was great, hotel has a really nice location and easy to park. Staff were great.
- 5/5
Food great , staff very friendly
- 5/5
Overnight curbside parking is free!
- 5/5
good variety at breakfast—appreciated the turkey sausage that was served one morning.
- 5/5
Great stay! Our room was clean, staff was friendly— only thing that was challenging was parking. $50+ for parking was wiiild! Thankfully there were 2 parking garages across the steeet for half the price. We got lucky the other 2 nights we found street parking which was free after 8pm-8am.
- 5/5
Very clean. The staff very helpful.
- 3/5
Property was well kept. Staff very attentive to issues parking is terrible unless you valet.
- 4/5
Everything was great— big clean rooms, friendly staff, good location. But breakfast is terrible. Like so bad. We couldn’t believe how great everything could be but breakfast was inedible…
- 4/5
This place is clean and a nice walk along the Willamette River is nearby. Lots of restaurants and shops ad a nice outdoor vibe when the weather is amenable. However, Expedia should warn customers that there is only valet parking or fee parking nearby. Depending on when you arrive or how you play the game, this can range from $8 to $50.
- 5/5
It was wonderful, slightly dirty, but nothing too serious. There was blemishes and hand prints on the walls/ windows or mirrors. The shower door wouldn't shut all the way. But other than that, I loved it
- 4/5
Parking is a pain. Valet was $52 a night.
- 5/5
It’s so nice and in the middle of everything so u cna ride scooters as soon as u get outside and the breakfast is amazingly good u wont regret getting this hotel
- 5/5
Everything and everyone were amazing!
- 3/5
Breakfast was okay, but not great. Only 2 coffee spots made it very hard to get coffee.
- 5/5
Super convenient location & nice property- definitely recommend! 👍
- 4/5
早餐差了一点!
- 3/5
Days we were unable to shower due to the continued problem. I complained again at check out with a response that it will get checked out. I have my doubts since the kitchen faucet also kept coming off in my hand. The problem with prepaying for someplace is then you’re locked into it. VERY DISSAPPOINTED but had a great weekend with family celebrating regardless.
- 5/5
Great place and spacious, clean rooms
- 5/5
Place was amazing I will recommend this place to friend and family. It’s close to everywhere and great costumer service Christine is amazing. Thank u for everything.
- 5/5
Excelente propiedad bien equipada y amplia.
- 4/5
The room was nice, the toilet was not working. Well it kept running even after we had left toilet tank and tried to push the plunger down to seal so the water can fill the tank. That was quite annoying to listen to for four days. Staff was very nice. The breakfast was OK. Nothing that I would want to promote buying if it is not included in your hotel state room cost. Pool is very small enclosed, and when their children in they’re way too loud there is no hot tub no sauna. The restaurant was never open inside the hotel. It’s called the H. They have a nice complementary hot water, coffee and tea bar. Parking is not included in this day. It’s $52 per night. Do not park in the public structure cars routine will get broken in there so you’re kind of forced to pay to have valet parking.
- 5/5
Jaden was an amazing at check in and was very helpful! She has a kind personality and was very welcoming after a long drive. She informed me of all amenities and I had a very swift and easy stay! I cannot wait to return, Thank you so much Hyatt House!
- 5/5
I like the location of the hotel. Close to downtown Portland.
- 5/5
Helpful staff. Front desk staff buzzed us in as soon as they saw us coming to the doors late at night after bar hopping.

Overall, a great choice if you want a convenient and comfortable stay in Portland. Highly recommend.”

- 4/5
Great staff! Nice room. Parking is a bit expensive.
- 5/5
We only stayed for a very short time, arrived late and had to leave early, but really liked the room, the layout, shower was amazing! The bed was comfy! Staff were pleasant and the breakfast had a lot to offer! Near OHSU waterfront and tram to the hill; super easy for medical visits. Valet is a little spendy but very quick and really convenient!
- 5/5
Clean room ,nice breakfast ,nice staff. Only once house keeping is a bit pity when we return back home and found dirty towels.
- 2/5
Overall, the property served its purpose. We just needed a place to stay for one night. We were traveling with our dog and the hotel does allow pets. The pet fee was $75 per night, which was quite steep. Not only do they charge that fee but they indicate the fee is “a cleaning fee“, while their pet policy that must be signed, indicates the hotel at its soul discretion may impose an additional fee. I found that to be ridiculous. There is absolutely no parking unless you’re willing to pay $52 per night for valet. I was not willing to leave my vehicle parked on the street in downtown Portland as there were many unsavory characters strolling around. The staff were kind and the free breakfast was decent. The hotel is laid out very oddly. It almost felt like you were roaming the halls of a hospital with no idea where to go. Also, because it’s downtown Portland a guest needs to use a card key to access any guest floors via the elevator. This hotel accommodates many guests so therefore the elevator was in high demand and the key card didn’t always work so you may find yourself making multiple attempts to access your floor.
- 4/5
Breakfast was so so. The fake eggs are not good. Maybe a waffle maker or pancake maker would help.
- 5/5
Yes
- 5/5
Everything was good one thing when I entered my room the wood floor was sticky like it was not mopped besides that I have no more complaints
- 5/5
Breakfast and awesome room with kitchen. Perfect for our stay
- 5/5
Everything was fantastic!!
- 5/5
Breakfast was delicious
- 2/5
Staff was very unprofessional and unfriendly There was not enough towels in room So when I called they said they won’t come So I had to go main lobby to collect
- 5/5
Breakfast had a good variety, kept stocked well. Loved that the pool was not too cold!
- 5/5
Clean room, they had games to borrow which was super fun, convenient location close to the waterfront.
- 5/5
It's very good to eat. Maybe you can add some other menus. thank you
- 5/5
Great value in a great location!
- 4/5
One area that could use improvement is housekeeping. It would be better if room cleaning was consistently done when requested or scheduled. I wasn’t entirely sure, but it felt like there was some hesitation with service, possibly related to tipping expectations. I had planned to tip through the hotel’s online tipping service after the room was cleaned, but the service didn’t happen as expected. Overall, it was a pleasant stay, and with a bit more consistency in housekeeping, it would be an excellent experience.
- 2/5
I was really sad that the pool wasn’t open at night on Wednesday and only had 45 minutes in the morning that it was available for my kiddos before we had to leave to check out. The rooms were nice, but the lights in the bathroom did not work, the elevator went out of service while we were trying to get to our room, and the bed was droopy in the middle. Overall I was disappointed with my stay for the cost of the room and the extra for parking.
- 4/5
Free breakfast, Clean Gym and pool and plenty space for drinks/meals.
- 2/5
The internet was very slow and unreliable during my stay. It made it difficult to use for basic tasks. Overall, not a good experience with the Wi-Fi.
- 5/5
Yes the welcomed my small shih tzu. They were super nice. Even had a treat for him in the lobby
- 5/5
Would definitely stay again
- 5/5
Our first experience staying at a pet-friendly hotel was AWESOME. This hotel is close to the riverfront, perfectly walkable — Saturday market, china town, pearl district, we kind of walked ourselves to exhaustion. Kids still had energy to swim though. Such a fun & memorable visit.
- 4/5
Clean room, kitchen gets overwhelmed on Saturday mornings
- 1/5
They should advertise this as 50 bucks more expensive once you get there because they want to charge you 50 bucks to park your car. Or you can park on the street but you have to pay for that too and you can’t start paying till eight in the morning, so you have to get up early run out there pay come back in and there’s a bunch of dog crap all crap all over the sidewalk while you’re trying to park your car would recommend would not recommend staying here not even a hot tub. What’s going on?
- 3/5
Room was filthy stuff all over the walls carpet torn up we stayed last time was way better then this time we stayed tried to call front desk no answer it was not my favorite stay.
- 5/5
Very clean room , nice staff , convenient location
- 5/5
The hotel was beautiful! Great food. Clean. Night staff wasn’t friendly but everyone else was wonderful.
- 4/5
I’m not sure if they purposely group rooms together if they have kids but it felt like our strip of rooms was all families and it was pretty loud later than I’d like (11pm and later) with older kids running and playing in the hall and such. Other than that everything was great and we’d continue to stay here in the future!
- 5/5
Staff was the best always available with a great attitude they helped make the stay super smooth.
- 2/5
There was a wad of hair in the shower. Valet attendant just left my car partially on the street for an hour. No call or communication was made from anyone. On the day we were leaving he said he couldn’t drive manual and had me go to the garage and get my car. Makes sense why it was left in the street.
- 4/5
Good and clean room
- 2/5
Really the only reason why I gave two stars was due to the staff being very friendly and valet was professional/top notch. Lastly, prior to checking out, the floors by the entrance doors were getting mopped and without no sign to caution wet floors my 3 year old daughter slipped to her knees- thankfully not getting seriously hurt. The man said “sorry about that” Would I stay there again? Perhaps not. Maybe a different Hyatt if the great staff is the same at all hotels.
- 5/5
Good breakfast.
- 5/5
EVERYTHING was fabulous!
- 4/5
Hyatt house was overall a good experience. There was definitely some pros and cons to choosing this hotel. Some Pros are that they have free breakfast, indoor heated pool, near waterfront and have clean rooms. Some cons are that there’s no on site parking and rely on street meter parking that you pay hourly OR paying valet, and in addition they told us bar hours and when we went the bar was open and would close early.
- 5/5
Room was clean and spacious and staff was super friendly!
- 4/5
The bartender was great!
- 5/5
The pool was cloudy.
- 4/5
one thing is missing is that they do not provide slippers. in fact I called the customer service before I checked in the hotel and they said they would provide if you request that when you check in. So, I did not pack my slippers in my baggage. But this time they said they run out of slippers.
- 5/5
Rooms were exceptionally clean as is the entire property. The staff is friendly and very helpful. Lobby, breakfast room are comfortable and are also very clean. A great place to enjoy the area on the river and fun restaurants and shopping close
- 2/5
The lobby appeared clean, but once we got to the room, did not appear anyone had cleaned the floors. There were dirty dishes in the cupboards and silverware still in dishwasher. In morning at breakfast, a homeless lady wandered around the breakfast area. Staff was able to get her to leave, but it made us very uncomfortable experiencing that with our two young children. We checked out after one night.
- 5/5
Awesome staff and convenient location.
- 1/5
Need to mention about valet parking only with 55$ per car per night
- 5/5
I really enjoyed our stay. Breakfast could use improvement due to the French toast was dry and hard and it took 10 minutes for the scrambled eggs to be out.
- 3/5
Did not use internet
- 5/5
The room was spacious, clean and with great views of Downtown. Front desk was courteous and nice

- 5/5
All the usual amenities were available and in good working order. Self parking was a little difficult due to none on site. A public parking area is available about 3 blocks down the road and they offer valet parking for a fee.
- 4/5
All the staff were great and very nice
- 5/5
Great location. Clean, staff was friendly overall very nice place to stay.
- 1/5
To make matters worse, only one of the two elevators was working during our visit. This meant long waits every time we needed to go up or down, often standing with several other frustrated guests who were dealing with the same issue. Parking was another major inconvenience. There was no parking available at the hotel itself, and we were told the only option was valet parking for $60, which felt excessive and frustrating, especially since it wasn’t clearly communicated beforehand. On top of everything, the hotel seemed overbooked and the staff did not handle the situation very well. The service we received was not helpful or accommodating, which made the experience even more frustrating. Overall, this stay fell far below expectations, and unfortunately we will not be staying at this hotel again.

Heard loud noise came from room above…reported to staff who was very understanding but they couldn’t help stop it! Overnight parking very expensive for area.
- 5/5
They staff was amazing! I had to book another room coming from another hotel with the worst experience and the Hyatt Staff made sure we were taken care of from the start. They upgraded our room to make us feel more comfortable and even made a to-go breakfast bag for our girls. Which was very thoughtful since we had to leave before the breakfast area was opened. Will definitely stay there again. Thabk you again Hyatt for the amazing experience.

Incredible room, sweet staff, pool was great, everything was completely seamless!

Our room was awesome and the staff was great.

The friendliness of the front desk workers. The clean atmosphere of the room, gym, and the food area. The breakfast was delicious and offered great selections.
- 5/5
Clean room, friendly staff and hotel is in a good location
- 5/5
Great room, great staff. Great time at the bar, even left my jacket and phone there overnight and staff/management was nice enough to keep it safe for me when I went to front desk to retrieve it. I recommend Hyatt House best hotel for me!!!!
- 5/5
It was gorgeous parking sucked
- 5/5
Nice room
- 1/5
Staff was wonderful but the hotel is far from comfortable! Beds are lumpy rocks rooms are cheap and outdated, hotel is in the middle of nothing. Save yourself and just don’t go.
- 5/5
Great location and Clean room. travel with dog and park in the area for walking. We stayed there every time when visiting Portland.
- 5/5
Please give your staff a raise. Everything else was excellent as always.
- 5/5
I want to express that the room was spotless, the breakfast spot on specially the potatoes, the coffee and the eggs. Never disappoints the time they have open the breakfast buffet! We were also kindly supported when we requested to keep our rooms for a second night and this was done by: Christine and her manager (please forgive me I forgot the name of the manager). So staff, staff and staff the stars of the hotel. Thank you!

Nice area to stay
- 5/5
Awesome staff and love the hotel
- 1/5
By far the worst place we’ve ever stayed in Portland. No heat. Cat piss drenched blankets, ripped carpet and a moldy shower that we wouldn’t use.
- 5/5
Room was clean, staff was competent and courteous, and the breakfast was very good.
- 5/5
Was a good stay
- 5/5
Front desk very friendly, room was ready at check in and clean! Bed was comfortable and the shower water pressure was amazing!
- 5/5
The hotel itself when you first walk in was beautiful the evening staff and the morning staff were just lovely and extremely kind. Pool was great the workout room was great. Our room was amazing it was clean and The beds were comfortable. The free breakfast in the morning was also just perfect

Excellent service, comfortable room, great staff
- 5/5
nice staff nice amenities good breakfast and a located in a good areas
- 5/5
Have stayed at this hotel several times, never disappoints!
- 5/5
This was our first time staying here and it was amazing. What especially enjoyed was the restaurant and bar. The bartender said his name was August and he was amazing. Fast, friendly and a great person to talk to. We will definitely be staying here again
- 3/5
We rented a room for 3 and 1 of us had to sleep in the couch. The couch was so used and old that it sank in the middle horribly. Worst sleep ever. No matter which direction you try to sleep in the hole in the middle sank my back into the mattress making it impossible to sleep in
- 5/5
Great stay very accommodating,

Staff was great and helpful

The room was very nice and the bed was very comfortable. The gym has lots of equipment and the pool temperature was perfect! Breakfast was delicious too!
- 5/5
I will stay again in the future (June 2026).
- 5/5
Was clean and well kept
- 5/5
my friends and i really enjoyed our stay here, th staff were very welcoming, the area is super safe and the pool was awesome
- 5/5
Great room.
- 5/5
It was a nice space for having a 10 year old and a 18 month old. The accommodations were wonderful, the place was clean and the small suite had everything we needed. Breakfast was ideal for the different energies in my family. Hahaha.
- 4/5
Valet was helpful and efficient. Housekeeping could use some help, they never did service our room
- 5/5
This was an excellent stay and the room was spacious. Great free breakfast in mornings and we did street parking no problem.
- 5/5
It was so peaceful studying here
- 5/5
It was wonderful
- 5/5
Just an overall great place to stay close to OHSU
- 5/5
Breakfast menu was good
- 5/5
Clean room. Friendly staff. Good breakfast. Peaceful stay.
- 3/5
Room was in average condition toilet didn’t work.
- 4/5
The room was clean and very nice. The only negative comment I have is related to parking. The website says there is "free self-parking". It should say the property only has valet parking. The "free self-parking" is not true. We were referred to a parking garage down the block which was not free but cheaper than the valet parking.
- 5/5
Clean and friendly staff
- 4/5
Got there 15 minutes before breakfast was done and food was cold.
- 1/5
We were very disappointed in the cleanliness of our room. We have stayed many times at Hyatt houses in Hawaii in Anaheim and in Portland and Beaverton. This was our worst experience! Greasy handprints above the bed, dirty bathrooms with dirty, grout, mold, growing near the shower, grime on doors, ripped and shedding blinds, carpet frayed near door edges, bathroom door that wouldn’t stay closed, loud heating noises coming from the roof we assume? We are really disappointed because we are a huge Hyatt house fans and specifically choose it almost every time we go away. I hope something will be done to make this right.
- 5/5
I was incredibly impressed with the staff from check in to check out! Very clean property, lots of options during the free breakfast, and everything was so clean. Would absolutely stay again. Great option for families.
- 4/5
Kitchen was not cleaned out
- 5/5
Location, staff was great, and we appreciated the breakfast and the clean rooms
- 5/5
Friendly, helpful staff. I borrowed several needed items from the front desk, had above and beyond help with a Netflix problem.
- 5/5
You can't beat the location! You're super close to lots of food/activities and right on the max line. We also loved the pool.
- 5/5
The lobby was decorated perfectly. The check in staff were so helpful with all my questions and the check out staff rocked! My phone battery died and the staff took care of me professionally and proficiently. My room was so large and comfortable. Real glass glasses to drink from. That was a nice touch.
- 5/5
Easy in/out, close to events we were attending, good breakfast with staff that worked hard to keep up with the rush. Rooms were clean.
- 5/5
Room was clean, staff was very friendly & we had a great view. Loved the location, there was a coffee shop just a few feet away from the hotel! Would definitely stay there again
- 5/5
I really appreciated the great breakfast included, super nice rooms with all the windows, pool and amazing shower! Plus all of this at a good price. We were really happy.

Great service! Front desk and staff went over the top
- 5/5
Reception folks are helpful too. Jaden took leaps to find me a chopping board. Only to find out, there is actually one in our room. Gym is the right size…. Pool is heated. And so we got our daily exercise in and enjoyed ourselves. Breakfast is available for guests. Pretty good buffet. This could be my hotel for long stays in Portland.
- 5/5
Clean and friendly establishment! Great for families!!
- 5/5
Breakfast was good!
- 4/5
Room spotless, stuff very courteous and helpful.
- 5/5
It was another nice stay and this is def a property we enjoy coming back to time and again.
- 5/5
Friendly staff, clean room, great price
- 5/5
I was pleased with the convenient location near the river but separate from downtown. The room was large & clean, with an excellent view. The kitchen had all the key utensils. The pool was warm and big enough to enjoy a daily swim. The breakfast, though generic, was all-you-can-eat and I'm glad it was offered. The staff was always courteous & helpful.
- 5/5
Great reception service. Staff are very friendly and supportive.
- 5/5
Wonderful stay! Booked 2 rooms for the in laws & ourselves. Had a family member at OHSU. Rooms were king bed suites with a little kitchenette. Staff was amazing, indoor pool was a hit for our son, continental breakfast was great! Lots of choices for food. I was really surprised. Parking the hotel only offers valet, but not even a block down is a parking garage that we used. (Height of parking garage ceiling is 6’5”). Easy walk to the water front with a few stores & restaurants. Great stay & will definitely stay here again!
- 5/5
Amazing stay, beautiful property rooms were very clean as well as the rest of the hotel. Breakfast was good a lot of variety!! This is the best spot if you’re wanting to explore Downtown Portland. Everything is max 10 min away from this property. ONLY DOWNFALL IS THEY DONT OFFER PARKING AT ALL. PARK DOWN THE STREET NOT AT U PARK PEOPLE BREAK INTO CARS THERE. CLOSE TO THE DOUGLAS ON THE LEFT SIDE IS A PARKING GARAGE THAT IS GREAT.
- 3/5
Soap was so small.should have packed my own..ate there. Had chicken salad. It was disappointing and fries were overdone. Drove up from So. Oregon and arrived at 1:00..,had to pay extra 30 for being early and last but not least toilet was acting up. Room was good. Expected better for a Hyatt.

Yes
- 5/5
The entire experience was great
- 5/5
Everyone treats me like it’s my home. This is my 4th trip to Portland and I stay here because of the staff and proximity to the River Walk and gardens.
- 5/5
Front desk staff is amazing!! Friendly and very helpfull
- 2/5
Our first room had some interesting stuff going on. Bed sheet was pulled back and ripped. We could see the mattress. Someone had been in the bathroom. They upgraded our room but the bathroom lights didn't work. After talking to the front desk, apparently there is a master switch in the kitchen area that had to be on for the bathroom lights to work. Ooook... The next morning as we left, there was a pile of dog puke in front of the elevator. Needless to say, even though the staff was great about trying to make things right, it's just not the sort of hotel we would visit again.
- 5/5
Great customer service very polite and professional.
- 4/5
Comfortable bed!
- 5/5
Enjoyed staying here again. Got a parking ticket, though, so remember to pay for parking!!
- 4/5
Breakfast not really good, just an average motel breakfast with 3 things changing every day, turkey sausage, chicken sausage and sausage patties… not even a bacon by mistake smh
- 5/5
Note: I rented the room under my name, listing my daughter as the 2nd adult on the reservation, but because it was my card, she wasn't able to simply extend (booked through Expedia versus Hyatt direct, which may have made this element moot), I had to come to Hyatt and navigate the check out/check in on the new reservation. It would be lovely if policy would include sending the reserving party a credit card authorization form if they cannot be physically present - or simply to simplify the process. Besides that, again, everything was lovely and this is a location that we will gladly return to.
- 5/5
Very clean room and the amenities were excellent. A very positive experience.
- 5/5
Courteour and efficient staff. Comfortable room.
- 5/5
Clean Room, Amazing Vallet and staff

The fridge is dirty & has some brown stains over it -

The staff were fine. It sucked that a $200 room didn’t have a working USB port.
- 5/5
Room was great. I get up super early and coffee was hot.
- 5/5
Clean room, safe environment and friendly crews.
- 5/5
We always enjoy our stay at Hyatt House. Very spacious room, clean, with great amenities.
- 2/5
Room looked unkept and dining I was not to my liking
- 4/5
Clean enough and feel safe in the area

- 4/5
First time staying at hyatt it was nice stay food was alright, beds are slightly uncomfortable not to bad, water pressure was excellent, staff was friendly, kinda didnt like the fact that animals where able to go inside where the breakfast was. Also if you dont get the valet parking youd be lucky to find a close spot near the hotel.
- 5/5
Large suite style rooms with kitchenettes also good for families with kids.
- 4/5
Overall the hotel was nice. We loved the layout of our room, the comfy bed. However, some of the furniture is visually worn and misaligned with the overall quality of the room. Lobby and breakfast area could also use more frequent sweeping and mopping. Again overall the hotel and our experience was good.
- 5/5
Perfect
- 5/5
Everything our family would need. Would stay here again, no doubt.
- 5/5
The staff was nice and the room was very clean.
- 5/5
Clean rooms, staff great, transportation to ohsu amazing, felt very safe while my husband had surgery, and great breakfast
- 5/5
Add was very delightful and had a wonderful free breakfast.
- 2/5
The room was not clean. The windows inside were very dirty. The kitchen was not clean (the cabinets and tile were not wiped down), the lamps were dirty, the bathroom fan didn’t work. Everything in the room was very worn down. In the breakfast area in the lobby, the utensils were all face down sitting in very very dirty containers which made me not want to eat the food so I didn’t. The elevators looked like they had never been cleaned before. Outside our room the carpet was filled with French fries and it was never vacuumed our entire stay. I had to turn heat off in our room for the night because it shook the door so badly it scared my son. There was hair on the bed over the sheets and not even a heavy blanket on top for sleeping. I will never stay here again.
- 5/5
Everything was great. Staff very friendly and helpful
- 5/5
Clean, convenient location!

The person who checked us in on Sunday was so lovely! The valet was incredible! The room was beautiful. Our only complaint would be the quality of the food laid out for breakfast. Breakfast was not up to the quality for a Hyatt.

everything was nicely done. I also thought the breakfasts were excellent.
- 4/5
Everything was fine… the sofa bed could use a new mattress..
- 5/5
The breakfast was great and so nice to have in the building.
- 3/5
Everyone was nice and very helpful. Except the cleaning staff. They were rude and the cleaning wasn’t good. I hope we don’t get any extra charges for them not doing a good service. A lady spilled something on the carpet didn’t bother to clean it up and she was very rude like if that was not her duties to clean. Front desk was informed of this incident.
- 4/5
Staff was very helpful and welcoming. Room was large and quiet. The linens on the bed smelled funky.
- 5/5
The size of the room

Nice room, but uncomfortable bed.

Front desk crew are friendly and accomodating.

Great service
- 4/5
This was our second visit, and once again, my family and I had a wonderful stay. The rooms were clean, breakfast was outstanding, and the staff was exceptionally courteous. Truly a great value.
- 5/5
Overall the stay was excellent. The male bartender (I don’t know his name) working this weekend nights on 10/24 & on 10/25 was very nice.
- 4/5
It’s close to the beach and good for stay.
- 5/5
We got the corner suite that had nice spacious and clean rooms, staff was excellent.
- 3/5
Breakfast was alright.
- 3/5
It’s not that clean
- 5/5
YES
- 5/5
We stayed in a family room and it was really spacious and comfy, had everything. Floor to ceiling windows were awesome.
- 5/5
Clean room with supplies, clean kitchen and living space. Downside was there was no access to streaming services, only local channels.
- 2/5
Breakfast was great , definitely the highlight of the stay.
- 5/5
Clean room great view alwyas come here love it
- 4/5
If you stay think about getting a bigger room it's only like 20 or $30 more per night it will be a way better experience stayed here three times only have been in the suites and it's affordable for a one time experience
- 5/5
Everything was excellent
- 5/5
Room - king junior suite was very clean and well appointed. Our only sticker shock came from the parking - which was Valet only and over $50 a night. We opted for a public garage that was a block away for $23 although there is street parking if you can find it.
- 4/5
Very close to riots at ICE facility. Not the hotels problem, but dud effect the feeling of safety concerns.
- 5/5
Staff helpful courteous. Kale in dining excellent.all of the Front desk EXCELLENT. I’m coming back
- 5/5
Very helpful staff.
- 5/5
Really friendly staff, very convenient for public transportation.
- 3/5
Staff was great and friendly, parking is a bit of a struggle, but the room smelled bad.
- 4/5
Everything was nice except the people next to us were super loud and we could hear them completely through the wall.
- 4/5
It was a clean room, bed wasn't too comfortable a little hard. The water from the bathroom wash kept coming out while taking a shower had to lay towels on the floor.
- 5/5
Modern, clean and bright The rooms are huge. Has a full bar also, which was nice
- 3/5
No parking
- 5/5
Bedding smelled dirty
- 5/5
Clean facility overall
- 5/5
One of the nicest hotels I’ve stayed in
- 1/5
It smelled so bad of fish. Our clothes smelled after and in the hall the smell would make us gag. Two days of the worst smell. Do NOT STAY ON THE SECOND FLOOR! Other guests also complained. No way to escape the rotten fish Odor on floor two.
- 5/5
Excellent place to stay, especially considering the affordable price! Very affordable luxury!
- 4/5
The breakfast was bomb.com and very convenient. Stayed a couple nights. The room was very comfortable for both my wife and I and very clean. Evan was really nice! He helped us with our check in to be smooth and easy. We enjoyed our stay here very much. Only thing i didnt like however was that there was no parking for the hotel aside from the only option of valet, we dod have to park down the street at a public garage which was fine but would have been cool if the hotel did a collab or some sort of agreement to discount rates for people staying there and self parking at that garage whish was only a short walk down the strreet.
- 4/5
Convenient to OHSU
- 2/5
Shower has lots of hard water stains and brown staining looked very dirty. No onsite parking, only expensive valet between 6am and 11pm, outside those hours you are on your own. Also $30 early check in fee before 2pm which wasn't mentioned online.
- 5/5
Friendly staff. Valet made balloon animals for kiddos.
- 5/5
The Staff. The Breakfast. Etc. Eyc.
- 5/5
The staff was friendly and provided great service.
- 5/5
What a delightful hotel! I stayed here to prepare for the marathon and recover afterwards. The bed was super comfy, the kitchen was handy for heating oatmeal, chilling drinks, chocolate, brewing coffee, etc. And the view was inspiring. Loved the pool - perfect temperature. And the staff were wonderfully helpful and friendly at all times, e.g. when I bought MuscleMilk to help my recovery. Fantastic.
- 5/5
Everyone was so friendly and accommodating. The price and cleanliness was superb! They also graciously allowed an extra hour to check out after my child unexpectedly was at the hospital longer than planned. Valet is worth it as well!!
- 5/5
Best breakfast ever, staff was very friendly, building was modern and rooms were unique and updated. Would definitely stay here again.
- 4/5
The hotel rooms and breakfast were very nice. The staff was excellent and very helpful, particularly the night front desk person. The only problem was parking: the valet was very expensive (starting at $65) and only open until 11 pm. I came in at 11:15 valet was closed and hotel did not have it's own parking. I had to walk to a nearby paid parking in the middle of the night to park for $25 in an unlocked parking garage of a nearby property.
- 5/5
room were very quiet and had great climate control.
- 5/5
The hotel itself was very comfortable and is in a good spot. But the staff are the reason worth coming back. Absolutely wonderful, kind, and helpful. I will return.
- 5/5
The staff were amazing- friendly and helpful. Felt safe staying there and the valet was so convenient. The rooms were spacious and clean. Recommend especially for extended stay in the Portland area.
- 5/5
Our hotel stay was wonderful! The staff was super friendly and helpful. Everything was so clean, everything about the hotel was welcoming
- 5/5
Friendliest staff and very clean ,comfortable rooms
- 3/5
TV was lame. Not a smart TV with hardly any channels. Luckily I had my firestick with me. Had a kitchen which was nice but had to ask 3 times for a sponge. Extra blanket was worse than hospital quality. Only onsite parking was Valet at $52 a night and then you are expected to tip the valet every time. They have an app for that to “help make it easier” but it charges you a “convenience fee” every time. So your $5 tip ends up $6.50. Dog friendly but you have to walk around the block for a spot for them to pee/poop.
- 3/5
My room was partially cleaned I cleaned it myself. The bed pillows were extremely flat and so was the comforter extremely thin. I’m so happy I brought my own blanket. The bed was extremely uncomfortable. Definitely not a Hyatt I am accustomed to.

- 4/5
Not really family friendly . I had to take my kids from the garage parking lots to the hotel and it was quite a distance especially at night and it was quite unsafe in the downtown area . Overall the stay was great . Hotel says breakfast ends at 10 but closes 1/2 hours before
- 3/5
If you like kids and dogs, then this property is for you. My stay included breakfast. there were so many people at breakfast that you could not find a place to sit. The tables were not cleaned. Many breakfast items were empty because the staff cannot keep up with replenishing the food fast enough. You had to pay to park at the hotel, but just a couple blocks away was a nice parking garage for half the rate. My room was very nice. It included a kitchenette and was very spacious. The bathroom was nice and clean. But we could not get any maid service for four days.
- 5/5
It was great
- 5/5
The breakfast was so much better than other hotels I’ve been to! Also, the room was comfy, cute, and the perfect size for 2 people. The only thing I disliked were the windows, they barely open so there’s really no way to get any fresh air in.
- 5/5
I stay here whenever I visit Portland due to convenience and access to OHSU. Safe, clean neighborhood and river walkway are bonuses.
- 5/5
Staff was fantastic. Super clean room
- 4/5
The room & staff were fine and well worth the reasonable cost for my stay. However, the quality of the free breakfast buffet left much to be desired. Essentially most of the cooked food was inedible. I would expect better from a Hyatt brand.
- 5/5
Really nice breakfast included. The indoor pool was lovely I enjoyed walking down to the riverfront, felt very safe I would love to stay there again
- 4/5
No parking
- 5/5
xx
- 5/5
You have to pay parking it is a big inconvenient, noatter how good deal you get on rooms you always going to pay more because of the parking
- 5/5
great experience
- 5/5
Wonderful front lobby, sunny and great seating areas
- 5/5
The ftaff was very friendly
- 3/5
Nice hotel and nice hospitality. Only downside is when requesting for someone to come check my ac unit, no one ever came and I had to double call and was told that the “service team is pretty busy” with a slight chuckle. I gave up on escalating the service team come for the AC and let it be. Other than that the hotel is nice!
- 5/5
Great staff very comfortable spacious and clean room
- 4/5
The hotel is easy to get to and you can walk downtown for dinner. The area is less frenetic than other parts of Portland. Easy to walk downtown. Staff are friendly and the room worked well for my purposes.
- 5/5
Nice, clean comfortable hotel. Enjoyed our stay
- 5/5
My new favorite place to stay! Frank and Steve were exceptionally helpful!!
- 3/5
Good breakfast. No room service.
- 5/5
Nice place to stay, good breakfast, friendly staff. Would stay again.
- 5/5
Room very clean , excellent breakfast but overall excellent customer service from staff - from checking in to ordering a drink at the bar.
- 5/5
Down from Seattle for a memorial. One night stay. Everything was exactly as expected. Good job, Hyatt House Portland/Downtown!
- 5/5
Great location! Clean hotel. Staff was friendly. Would stay here again.
- 5/5
Great location, even better staff!
- 3/5
Good breakfast.
- 5/5
Happy staying 🙏
- 5/5
the service was great, everything was clean . the environment in the area was pretty nice for portland lot of activity on the weekends and fairly quiet during the week days
- 5/5
Staff was lovely, however prepare to spend $50-$65 a night on valet as parking is very limited. However, the valet staff was so amazing and kind, Steven especially. Hotel was clean with healthy breakfast options, all staff was accommodating and well mannered.
- 5/5
Excellent stay! Thank you
- 1/5
Check in staff very nice but night staff is rude I asked for a simple item and staff questioned me so much like if I was not a guess. Restaurant food is not good.
- 5/5
Nice hotel and nice breakfast
- 5/5
The room was very nice and clean. The location was close to the riverfront and very accessible to public transportation.
- 4/5
Very limited dining in area!! Places not walkable at night. Shopping was also pretty far. Needed to Uber everywhere.
- 5/5
Nice place to stay, easy walk to the water front.
- 5/5
This was my second time staying at the hotel. Location is walkable into downtown as well as quiet if that’s what you want. Staff continues to be great and very helpful. Valet parking staff is wonderful. Prompt and polite. There is a bar. Public transportation is right outside the door. Uber and Lyft was easy to access if needed. The area felt safe to walk in.
- 3/5
The room number 301, the shower room door was leaking water to the bathroom. That was the issue I had.
- 5/5
The best hotel, full kitchen and very nice hotel overall. Lots of room and enough sleeping space for the whole family
- 5/5
We stayed here to meet a cousin that lived near Portland. It felt very safe. It was very clean and breakfast was phenomenal.
- 5/5
Didnt like the kids upstairs jumping off the couch or bed abd the dog howling all-night from one of the units down the hall
- 5/5
Friendly staff. Nice rooms, excellent water pressure with ample hot water.
- 5/5
Todo el personal amable y ayudan en todo
- 4/5
The Hyatt House Hotel is located in a quiet riverfront neighborhood of Portland, Oregon. The hotel staff was friendly, and my room was well-equipped and spacious. The room included a kitchen, a little living room area with a wide-screen TV, and a separate bedroom. The hotel isn't really what I would call "downtown." I was a little disappointed that most of the shopping, restaurants, and tourist attractions were a long walk from the hotel. I ended up having to take several Ubers and public transportation to get to most of the things I wanted to see. Otherwise, I really enjoyed my visit to the beautiful city of Portland. Make sure to visit the Pittock Mansion, the Rose Garden, Washington Park, the Oregon Historical Society Museum, and Mt. Hood. I also must say that I found the people of Portland to be very kind, helpful, and friendly. They made me feel very welcome!
- 5/5
Great place to stay
- 5/5
Nice
- 4/5
Other than u have to pay for parking the stay was great. Great for walking around downtown Portland. Everything was close!
- 5/5
Very friendly helpful staff. Great breakfast assortment. Did walk by a few times to housekeeping hanging out in a room with door open just sitting at counter playing on their phones and we had to approach them for towels since they took our soiled ones and did t replace them
- 5/5
My family and I loved the hotel, it was clean and nice.
- 4/5
Location was great
- 5/5
Over all had a good experience for our first time
- 5/5
It was an excellent place to stay for my visits to the OHSU facilities. Would recommend it.
- 5/5
Liked the room layout with kitchen living area separate from bedroom. Friendly staff.
- 4/5
Ok
- 2/5
I booked rooms three for a business trip about eight months ago and confirmed that each room had two queen beds. Upon check in they informed me that they changed my reservations without informing me to a room with one king bed and a sofa bed. There was no explanation and informed me that they gave all the rooms I booked to other guests, handed me a pillow sheet set and comforter for each employee that was now required to sleep on an uncomfortable hide-a- bed. Very disappointed
- 4/5
The pool and close by coffee shop and food and walkable easy parking
- 5/5
Convenient place to stay. Next to river front. Good breakfast buffet.
- 5/5
Great stay, great value!
- 5/5
Enjoyed my stayed. It was close to everything.
- 5/5
I think Portland could do a better job with their waterfront park/walkway. No waterfront restaurants. Neighborhood felt a little unsafe - especially at night.
- 5/5
Everything was so good.
- 5/5
Room size pretty big.
- 3/5
The valets seemed extremely overwhelmed, one night the parking garage door broke, I asked the valet in the front desk. What I should do or where I should park, they shook their head and said they didn’t know, when I press them, they finally told me to park down the street. Would I go back and stay there? I’m not sure.
- 5/5
Great staff clean hotel
- 5/5
Stayed at this hotel several times and it never disappoints. Near the waterfront, convenient for families with children.
- 5/5
Great
- 5/5
Friendly avd helpful staff. Good location if you plan on going on a river cruise.
- 5/5
Very clean and staff was so friendly and helpful. The breakfast options were great and Valet parking (though expensive at $50/night) was very friendly and fast.
- 4/5
Staff and property were lovely and the area is nice. You do need to walk to get a variation of food options but it is very manageable. Breakfast was well organised and good value.
- 5/5
Great location close to the riverfront with a streetcar stop adjacent to the property for convenience. Tidy and comfortable.
- 5/5
Everyone was really nice, amazing service and great breakfast

- 5/5
A great place to stay. Excellent staff to meet your needs.

Breakfast included is sub-standard for this category of hotel. 7-10am, we arrived at 8:50am and they had already run out of fruit, pastries, and popular tea flavor bags. They could plan better for a weekend. The staff was nice. The room clean yet hard, uncomfortable mattress and down pillows (so bring your own if your neck needs support). The pool was great for the kids. Parking is tricky. The options are valet on-site for an extra $52/night or across-the-street in a separate building garage for $26 but no in/out. Do not count on street parking.

Complimentary tea and coffee in the lobby is a nice touch.

Very friendly staff. Just not happy to see all trash in the hallway and parking its not bad but you have to pay the ballet fee or search for a parking around.

Only negative… the bed however was not comfortable. Which made for a long night trying to get some sleep.
