This was my second time staying here and the experience was just as great as the first time! Their staff is so friendly and helpful. The hotel is very much centric and near so many points of transportation it made it easy to get around.

The price. The location. The restaurant. I have nothing bad to say. There are two charges on my credit card that are expected to fall off but nothing other than that.

Friendly and helpful staff, valet parking was $65 but they recommended us to park at church (a block away, secured) for $10 for twelve hours. Modern rooms. We didn’t utilize any amenities. They have coffee, restaurant and bar area at lobby though.

The room, lobby, and bar were all very clean. The room itself has a very odd layout for the bathroom sink (in the hallway), the shower wall with frosted glass exposed to the hallway, and barn door for the bathroom door. This gave very little privacy.

Comfortable bed and pillows, they gave a lot of towels, and the shower pressure was good. The design of the room looks unconstructed especially with the flooring and ceiling. I felt uncomfortable walking without shoe with the flooring looking dirty (weird marks everywhere on the floor), and no slippers were provided, we bought our own. There was specs of white paint, and red paint (reminds me of blood) which makes me feel uncomfortable. I understand if it’s part of the design but it’s definitely not for me.

Room is clean, staff are helpful, and I like that they have a water dispenser in the lobby where you can refill your water 24/7. The location is great, close to everything. Will definitely come back next time.

Plus: Rooms is nice and the staff there are great ++++. Close to pretty much everything in downtown by walk or tram. Its super quiet on the 15 floor and you don't hear traffic or trams at all. Cons: - elevator is slow, and the house keeping uses the same elevators so you have to wait, the card reader doesn't work sometimes. - valet overnight parking is insane for $62 per night, or you can park yourself for $30 across the street. I like my car so we opted for valet. - Couldn't get TV streaming to work even through we are World of Hyatt members. The wifi didn't display and we didn't bother calling front desk as there was enough to watch on regular channels in the evening time.

Restaurant, coffee bar was available for breakfast, lunch, and dinner but only at typical hours and they had closed breaks in between so if you wanted a late lunch or breakfast or coffee you were out of luck unless you wanted to go out. There are at least 3 coffee shops within a half mile of hotel and tons of restaurants nearby however. The hotel was very modern and clean. The biggest negative is on the website it said "parking available" when I get there its VALET ONLY for 60 bucks a night!!! No garage to self park...you can "park on the street" but I wouldnt in my car there. Break ins are very common...so I paid 120 for the 2 nights which was almost the cost for one night. I felt a little misled by the website and forced to pay a huge parking fee I wouldnt go there again just for this reason

Great location, easy walking distance to several places. Staff was friendly and welcoming and they had several recs for places to go. Room was great too! No complaints.

A very nice hotel but staff was late for us and we had to wait to check in for about 30 minutes with no one at the counter. We arrived at 7ish, well after check in time. This could have absolutely been an emergency that we weren’t privy to. There is one ice maker at the bottom floor for use and drinking glasses were limited in the room. We also ended up using the ironing board as a table because there were only nightstands that were attached to the bed for use. The room as a whole was fine, the bed was comfortable, enough pillows, no noise. For the most part, just a sterile feeling.

Great location, right in a puppy part of downtown, great food and breakfast and coffee in walking distance. Even though it's a hyatt, it has a lot of Portland funk in the decor and ambiance. Highly recommended for the price.

I originally booked a hotel with ended up being terrible and made me feel unsafe so I did not want to stay there. I was stressed about finding another place and this hotel was heaven sent. They booked me immediately, staff was fantastic and the rooms were terrific. Comfortable and relaxing. It was worth it.

Everything from booking was smooth and pleasurable. When I inquired about dog policy before booking the staff was helpful over the phone, during check in we got upgraded to a better room with stunning views of downtown Portland ! During our whole stay the staffs definitely made us feel like valued guests. The hotel itself is modern and clean our room on the top floor was urban and chic! + my dog absolutely loved the room.Parking situation is not ideal and we struggled to find parking when we got there but ended up finding parking garage just half a block away for $35 a night (7pm-6pm next day!)

Friendly staff was great!

Staff were really supportive and wonderful. We found a couple little issues with our room and they made a note of it, and offered us another room. We declined as we were already all setup in our original room. And the issues were very very minor. But wonderful customer service. The T.V. would not stay on and keep acting up, but since i was not there to watch the T.V. it wae nit an issue.

Only critique is that the windows seem thin as even on the 8th floor the sounds from outside were noticeable (cars, max, people). Would not recommend for light sleepers.

The hotel also doesn’t have stairs that you can use to get to your room. Stairs are exit only. The Fortune club and its crowd can be heard from across the street on the 10th floor. Those are relatively minor issues that I could have easily overlooked, however at 2:15 AM the most obnoxious sound from the vents kept reoccurring every three minutes for thirty minutes. At first I thought it was the keurig self cleaning but it wasn’t. I couldn’t go back to sleep for another hour or

The location was great and walkable to many downtown locations. I found street parking easily as it was off season but they do have valet for a high nightly rate. The staff was amazing! Friendly and very helpful and attentive to my needs. Room was stylish and nicely appointed. Bed was so comfortable I overslept! Overall I had a 10/10 stay and would stay again.

Ground and ceiling is cement. The parking situation is not good. Valet was $50. And if you don't want to use valet, you will have to use parking in a lot across the street and pay at least $35. Or, use street parking, which you only get 2 hours at a time.

This hotel Met my expectations! 10/10 I recommend. To start, the vibe once you enter was amazing, clean, presentable, & colorful! The staff wow! The staff were all so funny and kind. Great Location. Walking distance to good food and fun. Although was there for work, at night I felt safe to walk around. Lots of people walking around.

Only issue was parking; only offered valet for over $50 additional. We parked 2 blocks away and paid, $20.

I just did a quick overnight stay with my daughters. We used the over night valet service and walked everywhere as everything is within walking distance. The room was so nice, beds were soft and we didn’t hear a single noise throughout the night. The hotel dining was also spectacular, with excellent wait staff and delicious food & great coffee.

We had two rooms reserved, I called before noon to ask for early check-in, was told one room was available but the other wouldn’t be until 2:00 or 3:00, when we arrived I was told I’d get a text when our second room was ready. All five of us, including my 98-year-old wheelchair-bound mother stayed in the one room, waiting for the text. We had a wedding party to go to at 6:00. I kept calling the front desk for updates and finally was told the room hadn’t been cleaned yet and wouldn’t be ready until 5:30. We needed to get ready for the party so accepted a room 9 floors above my mother’s room. Worse still, elevator cards only work for your own floor so we had to play card shuffle to be able to go to each ofher’s rooms. I got a nonheartfelt apology, sort of, and no compensation for getting access to our room 1 1/2 hours after usual check-in time for a room we were told would be available for early check-in. The room was okay, not special. No glasses, just two paper cups for three guests. Not the best experience. Won’t be returning.

Very nice downtown hotel. It was literally 2 blocks from the train and down the street from Burnside, a main street in Portland. There were several restaurants nearby, Powell books was close. Concrete floors in the room which I appreciate. My only complaint is that there was only the lobby to hang or congregate, no balcony or deck or rooftop.

I asked for a late check out and the front desk was very accommodating! The bar area is lively with Amy at the helm. There are many areas in the lobby to sit down plus a little game area for the children. The area is full of shops and dining options.

I enjoyed the location of this hotel—it has a vibrant, modern atmosphere, especially in the lobby, which feels very fresh and welcoming. I also appreciated the convenience of having both a gym and a bar on-site. Parking was somewhat limited, as street parking is first-come, first-served, and valet service is available at $55 per night, which I found a bit steep. At check-in, there were unexpected holding fees, and unfortunately, the hotel was unable to provide receipts for them. Overall, my stay was pleasant, though there are a few areas that could be improved.

I had a great time there I had no car and was able to walk around downtown, shop and get food with no problem.

This was a great location for walking to tour pick up. Lots of gluten free dining options in and around the hotel.

Urban and contemporary. The staff are very attentive. Heads up...concrete floor in the room I was in. Even in August with a heat wave, the floors can be cold.

The style of the hotel was industrial chic. The hotel is small and offers a small gym. It was clean . It is close to public transportation. There are a couple of restaurants nearby but most of what we wanted to do was on the east side of Portland.

This was a great hotel. It has a modern, yet Bohemian cool kind of feel. It was close to everything and there are lots of good restaurant options. Very walkable. The staff was pleasant and helpful, and the hotel was very clean (and smelled great!) It was quiet, too. I highly recommend this hotel for your stay downtown.

Valet is $65 night and only parking option. My room was right in front of the club across the street and I could hear everything.

I selected this downtown hotel due to its location with all the transportation available outside the front of the hotel. The suite was really the cherry on top with a separate living space with coach, tv, record player, refg.

The front desk staffs were very friendly, especially our receptionist Michael. The condition of the hotel was acceptable, could be loud at night with random people shouting from the street & car honking.

Modern, clean room, quality bed. Great attention to detail with room amenities. Helpful and friendly staff. Will stay here again, a great value and location.

The location was great, and the people were SUPER friendly. It was a big turn off to see dirty towels on both days, however. One had what appeared to be make-up streaks on it, and another had an orange crusted spot. :/

Overall, I had a terrible experience every night I stayed there. My key wouldn’t work, and they had a technician come every time to open my room. When I asked to be moved to a different room, they would tell me they didn’t have any available and that all the rooms were occupied. It felt like they never even tried to fix the issue.

I am extremely upset with my stay here. They knew they were going to have a big turn out and did not have rooms ready at check in. We sat in the hotel lobby for hours waiting. We had vip tickets to our event we came for and due to this error missed the beginning of the event. I lost out on so much with zero regards from the hotel.

The hotel was clean and in a convenient location. The staff were really friendly. We had been on vacation and stayed in different hotels throughout the week, and this was by far the best hotel we stayed in.

Property was in great location, valet parking, walking distance to providence park. Friendly staff. Only disappointment was room not ready at check in so we were late getting to concert. Didn’t get into room until 4:30.

Before this hotel decides to GUARENTEE check in is at 4PM, they should focus on ensuring that you can uphold that statement to your incoming, expecting guests. I was told that my room would be ready at 4PM and when 5:15 rolled around it was STILL not ready with no ETA of when it would be available. Not only that, but there was ZERO compensation for the inconvenience. There were so many families in the lobby without a room available just waiting to be given the room they paid full price for. If you’re looking to stay here don’t bother, find another spot unless you want to be disappointed.

Beautiful hotel

It's a very clean hotel with a friendly staff. My only complaint would be the obnoxious cologne fragrance in the lobby. Whatever sensory experience that was intended for didn't work for me. It just smelled like walking into a fragrance counter every time I entered the front door and I started to really dislike it after the first day. So, if you're sensitive to smell, maybe look elsewhere. Other than that, it's a Hyatt so it's fine.

Staff was all incredible. Everyone is so genuinely kind and patient, and they really helped make the experience nice. The location is perfect for exploring downtown Portland. If you enjoy walking, you have access to a lot of shopping, food, and venues. Everything else is also a short distance with their public transportation.

Limited place to park rental car so they point you to an on-site valet service which charges $55 per day so please factor that into your budget.

The hotel overall is beautiful and re modeled. The rooms were spacious and super clean. The bed was comfortable. Staff here are all super welcoming and helpful. The location of this hotel is perfect for downtown Portland. There are a lot of restaurants and stores at walking distance.(and metros/buses) There is a few homeless people but the hotel does a great job at keeping it safe and welcoming.

1. When I booked the room, it says breakfast is available, after my one night stay, I was told to purchase breakfast! Extremely disappointed, I had two kids. I told them there will be a breakfast that the kids were excited about staying at Hyatt Place! Hyatt Centric is not Hyatt place! Now I know that the two completely different! 2. I don’t understand why Expedia or the Hotel itself is refusing to refund my unused money for the third night? I will be seeking legal help if this delays any further Thank you!
