Reviews
The hotel is generally praised for its proximity to the airport and helpful shuttle service. The staff is often described as friendly and accommodating. However, there are frequent complaints about the cleanliness of the rooms and common areas, as well as issues with amenities such as parking, breakfast, and wifi. Some guests have also reported poor customer service and unprofessional behavior from staff.

The parking was unexpected charged.
- 2/5
I arrived on Monday only to find out the restaurant is closed on Monday. I also was not told what to do with the parking. If it weren't for a nice young man that helped me check out I would not have known what to do about the parking. They told me that a shuttle runs every 30 minutes in the afternoon to pick up people from the airport. I waited for an hour. Nice staff but I don't think I would stay there again

A very unfortunate stay at this particular Holiday Inn. The hotel is clearly older and needs a makeover, which being older but clean if just fine. It was the dirtiness and the utter lack of response from staff when requesting things like toilet paper that has caused me to encourage all to stay away from this hotel. The first hint of trouble started at check-in when using the toilet for the first time since check-in and discovering there was no toilet paper and then making four requests for toilet paper and nothing being done about it. Finally went to Fred Meyer and bought a 4-pack of toilet paper, something I have never had trouble with any hotel I've ever stayed in. There were strands of hair in the bed sheets, so it was clear the bedding had not been changed from whenever the last person stayed in the room before us. The dining area had several leaks where the skylights clearly were cracked, so depending where you sat to eat, you got dripped on. The final straw was the room had been booked for a Wed through Sunday stay, but the hotel cancelled parking on Saturday and then sent a text saying we would get a ticket, and when asking the manager Ihab (spelling?) he was rude and curt with his responses. His staff member was more helpful, but to have management be that rude, I will never stay at another Holiday Inn and will encourage others to steer clear of the hotel chain if that is how and who they hire to run their business.
- 5/5
Everything was good.
- 5/5
The hotel also has a small bar and restaurant. The service was a little slow but after a very long travel day it was nice to have dinner right there. Affordable and good food.
- 4/5
The gal was running herself ragged trying to provide good service to all of the folks who were waiting, some of them left before she had a chance to take their orders. I would encourage the hotel, again it may be a moot point if this is not under your control, to see about working with the new management to staff accordingly. I did not get her name but she was amazing.
- 5/5
Nice airport shuttle, but you have to pay for parking. They have a huge parking area.
- 5/5
Friendly staff, fast check in, room was clean.
- 2/5
The location and room was clean but they will keep your security dep
- 5/5
Great place to stay!
- 3/5
front desk receptionist on thursday (6/4) around 3 pm was very rude. he raised his voice when i paused with tap instead of card.
- 5/5
The property was clean and safe. The staff was helpful and very nice.
- 2/5
A few pros and several cons with this hotel. The bed was comfortable and the shower worked well. However, we couldn't get through to the hotel for the shuttle and had to use Uber from the airport. Breakfast was an additional $16/person. Biggest issue was the cleanliness. We discovered ants in our room in the morning, for which the hotel offered a 15% refund. Overall we're probably not staying here again.
- 4/5
The hotel and room were excellent. The only problem I had was that there was no hair dryer in the room. That would have made the stay nearly perfect.
- 5/5
Shuttle was great for flying out
- 2/5
Instead of free breakfast they were greeted with a $16 pay here before entering the continental breakfast area. Definitely not free and surely not worth $16 for some prepackaged pastries and over ripe fruit, fake sausage, and make your own waffle with expired fermented batter. Previous communication attempts with the hotel staff have been ignored, maybe this review will get their attention. Fix the listing and do better.
- 1.5/5
The uo keep ofbthe room was very warned out. The bathtub was stained. The living room furniture was badly use took away from the comfabilty of the room. Wanted to change rooms but I was only there 1 night so I tolerated it. Bedroom was fine and clean.
- 2/5
The room was clean. In the bathroom the thing you put up for the shower was broken, shower curtain ripped. The window was open but I couldn't get it shut. Had to call the front desk several times and no help. Would not stay again.
- 5/5
Lovely staff, very accommodating of our pet.
- 1/5
Close to the airport.
- 3/5
Ok if you’re in a pinch. Everything seemed to be closed or out of order. Room had tape around the door frame for an unknown reason, carpet very warped, elevator floors always wet (I’m assuming from people getting out of the pool - speaking of which, the whole place smelled very strongly of chlorine), coffee bistro in lobby not functioning, restaurant not open and no great food options nearby. I’d stay elsewhere.
- 2/5
Staff and sevice was very good but the location is terrible: trucks and freight trains running all night long under your window. Hotel to be avoided IMHO
- 3/5
The room was fine. They charge $12 a night just to park even when you are staying there. I thought it meant extended parking, but no. Also there was no hairdryer, and the young lady at front desk couldn't get me one, which was very disappointing. I wouldn't stay here again.
- 2/5
When booking it was said complementary breakfast, heated pool and hot tub non of those amenities where available to us the pool was cold, no towels available, we requested towel never showed up.
- 5/5
Parking free for one night
- 5/5
The room was pleasant and we had a quiet, pleasant rest!
- 2/5
During the evening the fire alarm sounded and most people exited the premises. After being outside for a short time the alarms stopped and guests headed back to the rooms, no explanation from staff, no clarification if there was a fire…… The coffee machine in my room didn’t work, and the coffee I bought at the front desk was like warm, extremely disappointing! The room smelled, bad, and I asked one of the housekeepers for some spray, which she supplied to me. This helped somewhat. I’ve never written a review like this. I stay in Portland, in the airport area, frequently as my son and family live near by. This is my first review that is so negative that I won’t be returning to this hotel again. The one great thing about the hotel is the staff, who were respectful, helpful and allowed me to rate this stay at 1-2 star.
- 5/5
I stayed 2 nights. The room was very clean, and comfortable. The front desk staff is cheerful and friendly. Room had a mini fridge, a microwave, and a coffee maker. No blow dryer to dry my hair. I liked the Dove bath products. Only an indoor pool, no jacuzzi. The restaurant has a small menu for now, under new management and closed on Sunday and Monday. They sometimes charge for parking, however they waived it for me.
- 4/5
Ninguna en especial
- 3/5
We stayed for two nights. Having a pool was nice and it was well maintained. Restaurant was great but understaffed, the lady working it was great but clearly overwhelmed by doing it all alone. She was very apologetic but great service and food overall. The rooms carpet was ripped up in areas, the furniture was old with lots of wear and tear. The worst part of all was I needed to work while my husband had business and the wifi was horrible. To avoid having to buy a coffee at a coffee shop and deal with the hustle and bustle I used my phones hotspot the entire time. Our remote was broken or dead we swapped it out and that one didn’t work either. ALSO the parking isn’t validated. I wouldn’t stay again.
- 1/5
Que ya había pagado por 2 personas para el desayuno y me volvieron a cobrar al bajar a desayunar en el hotel

$12 a day for parking was ridiculous ?

- 4/5
Clean room, comfortable bed, and friendly staff. Good choice to stay overnight to fly out of PDX in the morning. Great that they offer extended parking too!
- 1/5
.
- 3.5/5
The location is great for a PDX flight out. Very good staff however my room showed wear. On site parking says $12 but I got charged $13 no big deal. Breakfast ok if included but I would not recommend paying extra for it. Overall ok for a night.
- 4/5
It was a good place to stay. I was assigned a handicap-access room which is never my favorite. The location is convenient for airport shuttling and the hotel is reasonably priced.
- 1/5
Property was under remodel. Breakfast was very expensive for what they had available. Would never stay there again.
- 3/5
Don’t buy the parking through this. I googled parking and got it for less that $15 when the hotel was charging like $50. If I’m already staying here why am I paying for parking????
- 0.5/5
Charged $13 extra for one night parking, which ridiculous, plus no fee breakfast offered. Also the paid breakfast was expensive!
- 4.5/5
Construction and paid parking.
- 5/5
It was a good stay
- 5/5
Great stay overnight so we could catch a morning flight.free shuttle was nice. Make sure you arrive early to get your shuttle to the airport It tends to take off fast.
- 4/5
Price wise was excellent. Location not exactly in Cascade station but close to industrial area. The kids loved the pool and breakfast. We paid extra for the high floor and had the view of Mt Hood.
- 2/5
Front desk staff was extremely rude and snappy, not willing to help or accommodate a request whatsoever, let alone simply have the conversation.
- 1/5
The problems did not end there. One of the rooms was clearly not cleaned when we entered. When we reported it, instead of helping us or arranging housekeeping, the receptionist asked us to “sleep in the room as is.” Later, he came to inspect the room and simply said they were short-staffed and that the room “looked okay.” This is completely unacceptable for a property under IHG and Holiday Inn, especially after paying more than $100 per room. He did not even bother calling the cleaning staff. After waiting nearly 30 minutes, the room was quickly “fixed,” but it was obvious that no proper linen change or cleaning had been done. Very disappointing customer service and overall experience. Definitely not the level of hospitality expected from Holiday Inn.
- 1/5
They don’t tell you there is a 50 deposit for each night until check in. Doesn’t reflect it anywhere on the receipt. It says no smoking but when you walk out of the elevator all you smell is cigarette smoke.
- 4/5
No morning shuttle and unapologetic front desk.
- 5/5
Nice place to stay.
- 3/5
didn't know i had to pay for parking not going there again.
- 0.5/5
The guys that checked me in was rude. Stay for 2 nights beds where night made and I need it to go ask for clean towels.
- 5/5
Restaurant was closed
- 3/5
Very noisy from truck and train traffic. $25 parking fee makes it comparatively expensive and annoying not knowing about that before arriving. Long line to check in.
- 2/5
I selected this location because it was advertised to have an onsite restaurant and bar. Imagine not surprised, when I arrived and was told it was closed for a few days. That really should be something that is disclosed to customers ahead of time. I never would’ve stayed here and it was a huge inconvenience.
- 5/5
The room had small sugar ants in the refrigerator and crawling across the desk, the carpet was in rough shape and really needed cleaning. I couldn’t be upset, because they appear to be in the middle of a remodel.
- 4/5
Left too early for any breakfast. Airport shuttle was overloaded, so volunteered to wait for next shuttle which was also full.
- 4/5
some items in room need replaced. curtain panels torn
- 3/5
1. I booked this Holiday Inn because it had a restaurant; but the restaurant was closed. 2. Was required to make a $50 deposit when I checked in. Will I ever see the refund? 3. Checking in, I verified that breakfast was included in my prepaid bill. Next day at breakfast was told I should have been given a voucher for breakfast. 4. In first even, the second time I went down was informed if I didn’t want to take a shuttle out to a restaurant, there was frozen food in a freezer. Sigh. It all contained meat and I eat only seafood and vegetables. One very nice employee gave me yogurt and a muffin, which helped my tired body get thru the night. Very unusual experience. Appears to be management issues.
- 5/5
A very good place to stay at a great rate. Lots of parking. Breakfast was good and friendly staff there & front desk. Only 1 (sorta) dawn side - its located near railroad tracks so light sleepers will hear train coming thru a night. I would stay here if wver back in Portland.
- 5/5
Safe and nice
- 4/5
Niceccomodation Clean
- 2/5
Inside the desk drawer there was a sticky substance. I was charged a $55.06 incidental fee on top of the $50.00 deposit. I checked in around 8pm and checked out the next day around 11am. The only thing we did was shower and sleep. The floor in the bedroom had stains.
- 4/5
The renovations to this older building are well done, especially in the bathroom. Entire room was very clean. Mattress was fairly new and comfortable. Appreciated the single breakfast items at the front desk instead of paying $16 for the breakfast buffet. Enjoyed having a Keurig machine in the room for coffee. Didn’t have any sugar though. I will likely stay at this hotel again this year.
- 3/5
Things that could have been better. The hotel appeared to be short staffed and the room that they gave me was not well prepared. The room did not have a tv remote control, and both the microwave and coffee makers were in areas that did not reach outlets so I had to move them. I had to ask the front staff for a remote control 3 times over a 2 day period and had the same experience asking for towels. The bathroom ceiling had 2 unrepaired areas of water damage. The biggest disappointment was breakfast. Expedia shows this hotel as breakfast included, however the hotel charges $16 per person for a minimal buffet. Overall it is a nice hotel with comfortable beds. I will likely give it another try.
- 1/5
By far is the worse place I’ve stayed! I checked in went to my room and the room was not even cleaned at all beds were undone called front desk they brought some sheet and some pillows which smelled not washed. I called also and requested to get a new room because of this and they stated they were sold out no other rooms available because the room also had a bad moldy smell and my son is allergic to mold then the next day we leave around 9am come back around 6pm and my room was not serviced no new towels or room cleaned and then the whole hallway smelled like marijuana the front desk guy had an attitude when I called saying that he can’t do much because they are so busy told me that the housekeepers are still here someone will go up shortly to clean my room no one ever showed up the worse experience ever and my son with his mold allergies couldn’t really sleep at night terrible place to stay
- 4/5
Walking in, the staff was very pleasant to work with. The room was clean, and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was offered, but it appeared there was a charge for it (I may be mistaken). There was some work underway on some of the rooms (window replacement/repair), but it didn't stop us from enjoying our stay. I would stay here again.
- 4/5
Breakfast was good
- 4/5
Did not like having to pay to park at a motel i just paid for a room at. And signage showed breakfast starting at 6:00 am but front desk told me its not til 7:00. That was one of the reasons I chose to stay there was early breakfast before my departure.
- 5/5
가격대비 청결하고 친절합니다.
- 5/5
Good service
- 5/5
Our flight was scheduled before breakfast was served.
- 3.5/5
We were not told that parking was extra. R u kidding?
- 3/5
Nice people , comfy bed
- 4/5
Pay to park. If I can I stay elsewhere
- 4.5/5
The location was great, except for the railroad running by, which I know you can't control. I didn't stay long enough to try the breakfast due to a very early flight out. The train noise, but I know you don't have any control over that.
- 2.5/5
The room and bathroom were standard. There was a lot of dust under the bed and an unopened drink can that the last guest left! We spent $32 on and "All you can eat" breakfast and the bread was stale eggs were sitting for a while the attendant was working alone and run off her feet! And I had to pay for parking!
- 2/5
Disappointed
- 1.5/5
Room was hot and stuffy upon arrival. Musty smell. Unable to sleep due to traffic noise from highway
- 0.5/5
It was the worst holiday inn I’ve ever stayed at. It was moldy, dirty and very sketchy, I felt unsafe and would not recommend to anyone. That said, the staff were great. Everything else sucked.
- 5/5
Clean and kind
- 5/5
The hotel was undergoing renovations, but this did not affect our stay at all. Our room was obviously newly renovated. It was beautiful and the beds were incredibly uncomfortable. Also, the shuttle from the airport and then back to the airport to pick up our car rental, went without a hitch. The staff was very polite and helpful. We just stayed the night, but it was very enjoyable.
- 0.5/5
Went to booking . Com was told I could book a room for 89 dollars a night and they charged me105 per night and never returned my fifty dollar deposits and u can’t get ahold of anybody from booking.com there as bad as yelp online it’s a scam and the didn’t honor the continental breakfast either will never recommend or go there again
- 3/5
Barebones on the amenities like no shower cap. When requested at front desk there were no shower caps.Breakfast not included
- 3/5
It was not very clean (stains on wall, dingy tub), and many things seemed old and run down, broken drapes, old furniture.
- 5/5
clean room. not bad at all
- 2/5
No room key first night, supposedly in renovation, rooms outdated minimal staff
- 3/5
Between the lights from the parking lot and the noise from the trains, it was hard to sleep. There were also insects in the room (I counted three plus a small spider).
- 5/5
Very quiet and relaxing stay
- 4/5
Great shuttles to and from the airport.
- 4/5
It was a great stay! Would recommend!
- 2/5
this property is supposedly under construction and renovation however, didn’t really see anything going on, and it is quite dated and kind of depressing
- 5/5

Fabulous
- 5/5
Fantastic
- 5/5
Nice room
- 5/5
Very convenient!
- 3/5
Didn't have breakfast
- 4/5
It was a nice stay, but I really think breakfast should be included with the stay and the parking fee was a little over the top. Especially when your only staying overnight
- 5/5
The airport shuttle was excellent, thank you for the service
- 1/5
Hotel looked beautiful upon arrival. Staff was rude and short. Rushed through check in without giving any information on amenities such as pool hours, parking, breakfast etc. went into room and it smelled horrid, like stale cigarette. No exhaust fan In bathroom. Breakfast was cold with minimal options
- 1/5
Room is too old, smelly, towels still had residual spot. Pillow covers had hairs
- 5/5
Clean room, kind staff. Airport shuttle great.
- 4/5
The hotel was nice, but it was hard to get to from where TriMet let us off. The room was clean and comfortable but the exterior doors looked like someone had tried to whitewash them with thin paint, making them look like they were under renovation. Staff were excellent.
- 3/5
Accidentally left my blanket in the room, noticed about 2 minutes after I had left and was already on the shuttle to the airport. I called them and asked if they could hold it until I got back, the person at the front desk said yes. Got back 4 days later and my blanket was not held. My guess is someone from housekeeping took it.
- 5/5
Clean room, really comfortable bed
- 4/5
Unfortunately dinner wasn't available but there were microwave items. Breakfast was very nice. Clean rooms accommodating staff. Reasonable price. Great!
- 3/5
The shuttle was terrible. Waited an hour.
- 2/5
Because they previously shared a regular shuttle with Embassy Suites, I waited for that vehicle, but was then told they now had a different bus and that I would have to call them for a pickup. I should have been made aware of this ahead of time. I went to the bar to order food to take to my room. One $12 item was charge at $14 and when I asked about it I was told the system had incorrect prices. He cancelled the charge and corrected it. But I'm sure other customers are getting overcharged. The water in the shower was not hot. It was tolerable, but I definitely like to take a hot shower when travelling. On my next trip out of PDX I have booked a different hotel. I hope the Holiday Inn PDX corrects some of these issues.

Clean room.
- 5/5
Great stay
- 5/5
Stayed one short night. Clean and quiet, didn’t need parking. Appreciated the free shuttle to the airport.
- 2/5
Staff: Inexperienced and ineffective. Hotel: The property is badly outdated and appears to need a complete gut renovation. Parking: Additional charge for parking. Coffee: Additional charge for coffee.
- 5/5
Very clean, great breakfast, airport shuttle, friendly front desk
- 5/5
5 stars!
- 5/5
Excellent
- 5/5
Rooms were clean, spacious and parking was easy to find.
- 1/5
You have to pay $12 each night for parking per car that’s in your party. The buffet breakfast is $16 per person. Snacks were expensive, $4 for a small bottle of water and $4 for a tiny bag of chips. The room was small and very run down. I’m extremely disappointed and will never return. The hotel is entirely too expensive for what you get. Go anywhere else!
- 2/5
No OLCC card for the restaurant and that was a deal breaker. Staff seemed annoyed with questions. Received several texts after checkout inquiring about how “I was enjoying my stay”. Would try the Raddison before I stayed here again. Also, AC was noisy as hell, rough night.
- 5/5
Be aware, no free breakfast. The staff was very friendly and the area around the property was easy to navigate.
- 5/5
I the parking a bit of a problem. I think there were a total of three spots left to park when I arrived. I ended up parking a long distance from the hotel entrance, which after a long day of travel was not great. The parking lot also felt under lit for someone arriving at night in the rain.
- 5/5
Check in was a breeze. Staff was friendly, room was clean and comfortable. Appreciated the free shuttle service to the airport.
- 2/5
Breakfast good. Parking, horrible, Karu charged us and made us move after we found out it was included
- 4/5
Clean room. Nice breakfast buffet. The shuttle driver was quick, friendly and efficient. The hotel is a bit run down looking and could use a refresh. I think they can afford it after what they charge.
- 4/5
My review is four stars due to the lack of security. The elevators do not need key access and it is not a very secure parking lot. I trust the hotel staff and they seemed friendly and made me feel welcome. I do recommend a stay here, but would just prefer a choice of free continental breakfast and another layer of safety. (not visible security guards)! And perhaps there is safety measures in place that I am unaware of. Also early check in was unavailable which left me in the lobby for a long time. A clean lobby with water and bathroom options, but still, a large hotel with no early check in? Even to pay for? It was also an extra fifty dollars for incidentals which I have not been refunded. Overall a great place to stay with shuttle service to the airport.
- 4/5
The buffet did not have many options for the price but was still good to have a hot breakfast in the morning just should have more options for $11 to $16 a person.
- 3/5
Window in our room most screws removed. Draped tattered old and torn, appeared to have a fair amoun
- 5/5
It was easy access to and from the airport
- 4/5
Parking was safe and easy. The rooms weren’t the cleanest like the carpet had stains and the tub looked a bit dirty. However bed was comfortable and it’s close to lots of restaurants and stores. Target was a 6 min drive, shopping plaza also about 7 mins away and lots of restaurants to choose from around the hotel area. The shuttle really does run every 20 mins they were punctual and easy to find. Overall it’s cheap, close to the airport and close to lots of places.
- 3/5
Room had a leak in the walls - we noticed because carpet was wet against the wall. Tub floor was in poor condition.
- 5/5
Breakfast expensive with no choices Parking expensive
- 3/5
The front desk person took 20 minutes to check us in, the rooms are not that cleanly, and we asked for a crib because the property description said the hotel offered it and the front desk staff said they didn’t. But we asked a nice lady from housekeeping and she kindly got us a crib for our room.
- 2/5
Our first room smelled like smoke then was moved to a better one. Not enough towels in the room for four and then no towels when we went swimming. We called and then they came an hour later. The staff seemed tired and not enough help - everyone was doing their best.
- 5/5
Nice
- 4/5
Internet worked and front desk were ok assisting me.
- 5/5
IT was a clean room. staff were friendly.
- 5/5

- 5/5
Very much appreciated
- 4/5
Carpet had steins; the room was in a far corner
- 4/5
Carpet had stains; room was secluded
- 5/5
Did not have breakfast but seem to end up here each time I’m in the area. Hands down trusted budget friendly location that you know will be clean and provide what you need to get a good nights rest.
- 2/5
We have stayed at many Holiday Inns over the years. This one is shabby. The carpets in the hallways and the rooms are disgusting. The chairs in the dining area are falling apart. There was trash under the beds. I read many reviews so I expected it to be the usual standard of a Holiday Inn, but it most definitely is not. Also, be aware that you have to pay to park, even for one night.
- 3/5
Breakfast buffet was lukewarm and an extra charge. No bar available. Room hadn’t been vacuumed very well. Shuttle driver was very friendly and efficient.
- 5/5
It was a good stay. The kitchen options were good, food was tasty. Bed was good, and room was clean.
- 2/5
The only thing good about this hotel is the proximity to be airport and the very friendly shuttle driver. Our room is very small, dated, terrible bathroom and horrible noise from the train and the road. Paper thin walls and uncomfortable bed.
- 4/5
Very quiet. Helpful staff. Great airport shuttle.
- 3/5
Airport shuttle was good.
- 4/5
Be prepared - you have to pay an extra $12/night to park your car! Someone on our floor was smoking pot even though it is a non-smoking hotel, management reacted quickly.
- 3/5
We would recommend this hotel to anyone looking to travel.
- 5/5
👍
- 4/5
It was a quick ride to the airport. Staff tried to double charge me for parking. They quickly corrected it.
- 5/5
Yes was good
- 5/5
Overall the stay was perfect
- 2/5
Many people complained about their reservations while we were at the desk. The staff was helpful but nothing they could do to fix the restaurant.
- 1/5
Wish I could upload photos to prove myself, please check the Kurig before using and pain patches were found in my sisters room. Two examples that say rooms are not cleaning properly!! All just for them to say we’ll give you a breakfast voucher to a complementary breakfast you can get for free at any other hotels! Very disappointing!!
- 5/5
Yes
- 4/5
Breakfast wasn’t worth the extra charge it should be included. The room was comfy and the check in process was easy. The staff was a little rude the next day when I went to extend my stay and I thought it was unnecessary to charge me for another deposit. I ended up paying three separate deposits during my stay… other than that it was a great place and I would recommend it
- 5/5
My room was clean and comfortable. I would recommend adding a black out curtain because shear curtain let in a lot of outside lights from parking lot at night.
- 5/5
I came in to the hotel very stressed and the lady behind the counter at the reception was incredibly kind. Iso very grateful to her.
- 4/5
Nice room. Newer property. Restaurant still a work in progress. Have to pay to park. No breakfast
- 3/5
Internet was weak maybe because our room was at the very end. Paid parking? Really? Breakfast not included? Really? We could hear outside noise at night.
- 5/5
Hotel was fine. Shuttle to the airport was great!
- 5/5
We needed a pet friendly place to stay on our way through town. Check in was quick and easy and our room was very quiet and comfortable.
- 5/5
Good place to stay for a long layover wouldn’t want to spend more than a night there staff was chill smelled kinda weird but the shower was hot and they had a free shuttle
- 3/5
Bedding could have been cleaner. Room had a smell to it.
- 5/5
Super staff!
- 5/5
Yes
- 4/5
The check in clerk was sub par. She left us standing at her desk for several minutes while she was on her computer . No explanation and there was a long line of other guests waiting behind us. Some of those guests were starting to get upset at the long wait with no explanation.
- 3/5
Could be clearer bedding. Curtains are falling apart
- 3/5
Getting ahold of the front desk was difficult. I rang for over 10 minutes and never got an answer or call back. They didn’t have shower caps either which seem like a basic item to have on hand for guests. Cigarette butts all around the front and in the planters.
- 5/5
Great check in. Friendly staff. Helpful late at night. :)
- 1/5
Room & bathroom were dirty! Shower curtain had holes. Shower had brown all around . Two Towles for a 4 person room. The beds are full size not queen. The staff at the front desk were flat out rude at check in. Could not even tell us how to get to our room and charges us $100 more than what was originally quoted.
- 4/5
clean room, shuttle on time but driver not very friendly. good wifi
- 5/5
Good safe spot
- 2/5
Dark, smelly hallways, no glasses in the room, so-so restaurant with no alcohol, carpets with tape on them. Pleasant staff.
- 2/5
They were doing construction, and we didn’t know that and they had wet paint on the walls. It was not good.
- 3/5
Parking was full due to shared lot with off airport parking.
- 4/5
Initial room had some issues but the staff promptly moved us to another room which was very good in all respects
- 1/5
Very outdated hotel. The room had a musky smell that was so strong I couldn't sleep.
- 4/5
Room was not cleaned every day.
- 5/5
Location and nice shuttle.
- 3/5
Strong smell on the hallways, old carpet
- 3/5
Small but clean room, decent hotel, easy access to the airport
- 5/5
Super clean room, very spacious and long term parking. Also the shuttle great driver.
- 3/5
N.C
- 5/5
Staff was helpful, affable, courteous and professional.
- 5/5
Clean room
- 5/5
Clean and comfortable.
- 2/5
First, the website's listing of amenities was very inconsistent with what was actually available (for example, no lounge/full bar - no alcohol at all, restaurant had very limited hours). Second, over the three days, the room was never cleaned so no fresh towels, limited soaps and shampoo and no additional coffee although that was unimportant as the coffee maker did not work properly. Third, the front desk simply ignored me when I came to check in. Fourth, portions of the hotel were undergoing renovations leading to dusty floors and generally dirty conditions. All in all, a very poor experience and I will not be back and will not consider Holiday Inn again under any circumstances.
- 5/5
The room was spotless!!! The staff have been amazing!!! Everything is going great so far!!!
- 4/5
Room was good...staff pleasant and helpful
- 1/5
My reservation was for a two night stay while my dad was having surgery. I got to the motel after a long day at the hospital during surgery. I was put on the 7th floor, it was very creepy and felt unkept. I ansked about moving to a lower level, they moved me. When taking my things from floor 7, a man, assumingly on drugs was outside his door looking and talking to it. When I walked by with arms full of luggage he continued talking to his door which was closed. I’m pretty sure we were the only two on that entire floor. When I got to the first floor room where they moved me, it was way back in a corner, my gut told me to get our, I had to step over tons of painting equipment and paper, got in the room set my things down on the glass table, looked at the bedding and saw what I’m sure were bed bugs. I immediately grabbed my things and went to my car. Drove to the front and took in my keys card.
- 2/5
This hotel is very dirty. As soon as you get to the section where the rooms are located, the walls have patches on them. The floors were completely dirty walking through the hallways. There were homeless people roaming the floors no security was present. It was honestly not a pleasant experience at all.
- 4/5
It was a very nice stay.
- 4/5
Was ok
- 4/5
Positive changes since last visit. Kitchen set up is ideal.. Dated property but I am seeing improvements being made, i.e. painting. Safe and the property suits my traveling schedule. Appreciate the free shuttle.
- 3/5
Staff and house keeping
- 5/5
Staff seemed courteous
- 1/5
But they did have two vanilla creamers with the coffee machine.
- 5/5
Room was clean and staff was very friendly. I normally have trouble sleeping while traveling, but the bed was very comfortable that I didn’t have that issue
- 5/5
It wasca clean and comfortable place.
- 4/5
Everything is fine but the pool is dirty
- 4/5
The room was nice and the staff was good too.
- 4/5
The room was nice. Staff was helpful to live me when the oerson in the room next to me decided to smoke cigarettes. The airport shuttle was timely and everyone was friendly.
- 3/5
Didn't care for the third party parking fee. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was adequate.
- 5/5
Everything was perfect and the shuttle was on time
- 3/5
I had to pay for parking when i stayed the night...never had to do yhat before
- 5/5
The room was very clean.
- 4/5
short stay. Everything was very clean and beds were comfortable.
- 5/5
Efficient and friendly staff. Comfortable bed
- 4/5
excelent staff, clean room. just what i needed
- 5/5
A young lady named Remi (sp.?) checked me in on 1.23.2026 and then when I went downstairs a little later there were no guests at the front desk, so we chatted for a while. The check in was flawless and we had a great chat. She is bright, professional and just a great person and the kind of person who well represents the hotel. Please tell her I said hello. My name is Bob Bass.
- 5/5
Super Courteous staff, spotless room. Allergen air filter was running upon my arrival. Five stars!
- 2/5
Old Hotel very noise no food or even coffe
- 4/5
The staff was nice and courteous. The room is clean.
- 1/5
Hotel was nice, but we left our car in the long term parking area! The whole reason we choice this hotel, And our window got mashed in! Don’t know when it happened was not notified that it happened, but they do have cameras! And was told that we have to make the police report! Why offer this service if you don’t care about you customers property! Happened some time between 1/18 and 1/26. Don’t offer it if you don’t check or care!
- 3/5
Amenities not super. Cheap toilet paper, shampoo in both the shampoo and the conditioner bottles—beware! No free breakfast, restaurant closed for dinner. You have to pay $12 to park overnight. Tissues ran out -only 2 left! Didn’t try pool.
- 2/5
The room was very small and cramped. The hotel is right by the freeway. This is convenient when driving, but not for sleeping. The shower was curved and felt unsafe. I am disabled, and required a second person to climb in and out. There was a grab bar in the shower (good) but no bar to climb out (bad). The only thing to hold on to is the towel rack, and that looked flimsy. There was a breakfast buffet.... For money. I didn't buy it. There was a coffee maker in the room, but it was stacked up in a corner like an afterthought (the room was small). It felt like the room was inexpensive because of everything else was an extra fee. This hotel should not have a high rating on your site. I wouldn't stay here for free.
- 5/5
Clean hotel. Great customer service. Great location to the airport.
- 4/5
The room was spotless, very quiet, great airport access and long term parking availabilities, wish we could have stayed here for our entire vacation!
- 4/5
The room was very clean
- 5/5
clean room friendly staff
- 5/5
It was well managed great pool
- 4/5
Wasnt told restaurant wasnt availabke for dinner, very disappointing after traveling all day.
- 5/5
Convenient 24 hour shuttle from airport,
- 5/5
Clean room.. great shower. Wished the resturant was opened
- 5/5
Staff was really nice and the place was clean 👍
- 5/5
Room was clean. Staff were outstanding.
- 3/5
Room was fine. Rooms was no cleaned daily, had to request.
- 4/5
Could not find any vending machine for night tiime beverage
- 4/5
Great place to stay. Close to airport and to the Portland area. Front desk very friendly and helpful.
- 1/5
Also when we arrived we were told parking wasn’t included in the hotel stay. This is ridiculous it’s not a downtown location. It’s a large parking area they make money doing park and fly. $12 a day is ridiculous would not have booked this hotel had we know.
- 3/5
Bathtub had hair left in it. Bed was horribly uncomfortable. Restaurant was closed. Not provided complimentary water bottles.
- 2/5
Staff was nice, room was ok, little dated. Extremely noisy and got no sleep at night with traffic.
- 5/5
Nice job
- 3/5
We were disappointed in our stay. We have used this hotel in the past and been very happy. To our surprise the restaurant was closed and there were only a few Stouffer frozen dinners on offer. They used to have a glass case where you could purchase a few food items but that too was empty. My husband phoned to get a wake- up call and it just rang and rang. We had counted on using their restaurant for dinner since we didn’t have a car. The room was very clean and the bed comfortable so we have mixed feelings about the hotel.
- 2/5
The hotel did not have a restaurant during dinner hours and a bar as advertised.
- 1/5
All just ok, misadvertised about breakfast and having a restaurant
- 4/5
Fine
- 1/5
The staff was rude, you had to pay for her dessert each morning, which was $16 per person. You had to pay for parking which was $12 per night that you were at the facility. The rooms were smelly and the carpet was absolutely disgusting.
- 5/5
Yes
- 5/5
Very friendly and informative!
- 2/5
We were put in room 636 and the room noise from the train and street was like nothing I have ever experienced. It was so loud that sleeping in there was NOT an option. The girl at the front desk was very nice and moved us but I can’t imagine if someone was forced to stay in that room.
- 1/5
Old, rust in the bathroom, doors banged, dirty walls, stained comforter...old carpet.
- 3/5
Staff mentioned they were short staffed. The only reason I booked this place was for the coffee bar so I wouldn't have to drive to get a latte.
- 1/5
Checked into suite, glass on the floor near the couch, dents on the wall walls above the bed, lamp was all dented, shower, drain backed up and flooded feet. Worst hotel I have ever stayed in my life.
- 1/5
It wasn't the hotel it was Expedia. I had a family emergency. My mother had a stroke and I needed to cancel the hotel because of leaving early. The hotel said they would cancel and but I would have to get reimbursed I'd have to go through Expedia. Because it was under 24 hours Expedia would not let me cancel or reimburse me. Thanks Expedia for taking advantage of a medical situation and not reimbursing for a hotel that we couldn't even use. Don't use Expedia. Heartless company! I will use a different 3rd party from now on.
- 4/5
Room was adequate and the food was good.
- 5/5
Great night
- 5/5
Great day
- 1/5
I’m disabled and had to drive my own car as the ADA shuttle never arrived. I’m never using that hotel again.
- 2/5
No continental breakfast and the advertised on-site restaurant is indefinitely closed.
- 2/5
One dirty towel. Showerhead flew off when I turned the water on. Only one coffee cup
- 5/5
Friendly helpful staff. Efficient dependable airport shuttle.
- 5/5
Everything was perfect
- 2/5
The place feels generally rundown. It’s apparently pretty close to some train tracks because I was awakened a couple of times by trains. I was perturbed to find out upon arrival that there is a charge for parking. It’s kind of close to the airport but there are lots of motels which are closer.
- 4/5
The Staff was fantastic
- 4/5
The room was clean, but a bit dated in the restroom. The hallways appear to be under repair with the walls seeming to be in active remodel/painting. Overall for the convenience and price this was a good deal.
- 5/5
Staff was nice and kind. Did have to pay for parking so that was wack. And breakfast. So more wack. But clean rooms and amazing staff
- 4/5
When a paying guest stays at your hotel, parking should be free. We should not have to pay to park and to stay at your business. Also it was ridiculous the cost of breakfast buffet, $16 per person?!
- 5/5
Spacious, clean, quiet hidden corner room. Another Portland hotel where guests have to pay for parking...unless it's a city code, seems exploitive. I joined IHG to get parking waived.
- 5/5
Good
- 2/5
Warning to others - parking and hotel stay packages offered on Expedia are not valid at this property, and front desk clerk was snarky about this, as though I should have known not to book it. She did accept it this time but said in future they wouldn't allow long-term parking because Expedia "doesn't charge enough". Perhaps the hotel should work with Expedia on that, and not take it out on unsuspecting guests. Otherwise, hotel is fine.
- 4/5
It was fine.
- 5/5
We had a suite with small kitchen but it had no dishes or silverware but they gave us some when we asked.
- 5/5
Great room
- 3/5
Building in need of some refreshing. Hallways with multiple paint patch marks. Window frames growing algae. Wall paper separating from wall at back parking lot entrance. Breakfast buffet only, no evening dining or room service. I have stayed in other Holiday Inns that were 5 star plus, this one needs some love. That being said, good dollar value, served it's purpose. Room was clean, allowed pets. No tea in room. :(
- 3/5
It was really hard to get extra towels and everything at this hotel is closed, no services except the invaluable airport transport. Since I was only there for that I'll give 3 stars for the efficiency.
- 1/5
Awful service and you’ll have
- 5/5
Yes room was spotless. Loved that the hallways were always clean.
- 5/5
I stayed 5 days. The bed was so comfortable. The room was very clean The front desk was very helpful. I was a bit disappointed the coffee machine was broken at the front lobby but that aside I highly recommend.
- 5/5
Overall good
- 3/5
Check in rules regs not guest friendly….
- 1/5
Room was stinky and noisy
- 3/5
It is a strange place
- 5/5
The room was spotless and the woman that checked me in was very helpfull. The only negative was that it was very difficult to enter the parking lot. If you miss the one entrance you have to drive several mile to try again.
- 4/5
Great stay. On time airport shuttle. Staff are accommodating. Fast and easy check in and out.
- 2/5
We have stayed at this property 2 other times and this time it is showing some wear/neglect in the rooms. Worst part was the staff at the check in desk upon arrival that was very unwelcoming to several guests, which set a tone for the evening. The additional parking fee that was implemented at some point is also a future deal breaker. We paid for a room already and you aren't storing my vehicle for a flight or anything. For the added price we paid for a run down, wet floored (leaking window), broken glass on the night stand (presumably from a picture that was missing over the bed), damaged walls, terrible hide a bed/sofa, top floor king suite and then parking. We could have gotten a nicer room with free parking and a cool view downtown. I chose this place because a year or so ago there was no additional parking fee ($13), the room was nice, the staff was friendly and inviting, and i felt safe leaving my wife and kids there when i went to work 10 min away.
- 4/5
Yes
- 3/5
Room was fine staff was helpful
- 5/5
Great stay
- 4/5
Everything was good but breakfast. Few options and waiting time for restocking was long.
- 5/5
Room was very clean and nice. Staff was very helpful.
- 5/5
Staff was very friendlyand the room was nice and clean!
- 5/5
The man checking us in did the very minimal service. He did not share with us any amenities or tell us our room number! We head to figure out where the elevator was and locate our room. When we asked where to get something to eat he said i funny know. Not very helpful.
- 4/5
Paying separately for parking was annoying and the lot was very full. The room itself was good and clean. It would be helpful to add luggage carts near the elevator entrance.
- 1/5
First I got walked in on by cleaners after I’d already been in the room for a few hours, kinda weird. Secondly, there was some group with many people. They were all polite but their kids (like 20 or more) were playing in the halls and elevators the entire weekend. One time it took me 15 minutes to get from the 4th floor to the main floor. Being in a wheelchair I couldn’t use the stairs. The front desk people didn’t seem to care when I notified them of the problem. The place was whatever, nothing special but the service was horrible. I didn’t even receive a door hang to tell them I didn’t want my room cleaned the second day so I came back to my room and stuff all out. Never staying with this hotel again.
- 5/5
Amazing, clean, easy
- 5/5
The room was vlean and the staff was awesome! I will definitely stay again if I need to.
- 3/5
The first room I was given had not been made up by the hotel staff. I was given another room that was an upgrade over my original booking. When I booked, free buffet breakfast was included. When I checked in, it was no longer included. No adjustment was offered. Shuttle drivers were friendly and efficient
- 5/5
Wonderful stay, no problems!
- 5/5
Great location and love how big it was
- 4/5
Rooms are always nice and tidy. And I enjoy staying at this motel because it has a pool , easy access to outside because they have a dog and they don't harass you
- 5/5
Excellent front desk staff, great shuttle service. My room was small, but very clean and good value. The hotel felt very safe as a single female traveler. Would def recommend for those flying thru PDX.
- 5/5
Great place to stay! Fantastic customer service, the rooms are clean and comfortable, breakfast buffet was terrific and the proximity to the airport, as well as convenient shuttle service, was a huge bonus! Would definitely recommend!
- 2/5
Don't worry about fresh sheets here. The sheets are so old and decrepit that the fabric has pilled and there are little brown balls all over the sheets. Hotel is OLD and likewise so is the room. Furniture is dated (New Mattress). Electrical outlets are loose. Bathtub is grubby. Mildew and rust are evident in the bath area. The stairs leading from the upper floors to the parking lot haven't seen a broom in months much less paint! Parking: they have some sort of third party doing their parking extortion for them. You can't even pay on property; it must be done via app. This hotel SHOULD NOT be charging for parking. I suspect there are some long term residents here based on some observations in the hallways and around the property. I needed a bed before an early morning flight and chose sleep over trying for a better room (not actually sure there are better rooms here). Next time I'll stay a little further away from PDX. Even with the longer drive I'm sure it will be a better stay. Disappointed that Holiday Inn would keep this as one of their properties because it certainly doesn't meet expectations.
- 3/5
Hotel was old smelled of weed and the rooms were pretty run down. Will probably pic another hotel next time.
- 5/5
Thank you again for a very pleasant stay: the room and its amenities were very satisfactory!
- 4/5
Shuttle was efficient
- 5/5
Front desk staff were friendly, the room was clean with everything in good condition, the bed was comfortable with 4 pillows, and the free airport shuttle was great. This is a convenient place to stay near the Portland airport.
- 5/5
Great room and great staff
- 5/5
Everything was delightful
- 4/5
STAFF was great, the room was clean and quite. the coffee bar was out of order for coffee.
- 5/5
Comfortable bedding
- 5/5
Quick attentive service
- 1/5
We stayed at the hotel for shuttle service. No one told us to reserve it for a 5am trip. We get there and there’s no room. Too risky to wait so we Ubered. Contacted hotel, no reply. Won’t stay or use their parking service again.
- 5/5
Super nice helpful staff, room was great, shuttle was very helpful to get from airport and back
- 5/5
Love this hotel! Very comfortable beds and the staff is very nice and helpful
- 4/5
There was just one server/bartender/busser in the restaurant and she was excellent! She handled the workload with good humor and grace. I think her name was Katherine; she should receive a commendation medal!
- 5/5
Love this place !
- 5/5
There was a BARRR !!!
- 2/5
I ended up not staying at Holiday Inn and was given a full refund, which I am very thankful for. When we checked into our room the front desk clerk was very nice and very very helpful. Unfortunately we very briefly got stuck in an elevator that didn’t go to the 8th floor. When we got to our room the temperature was warm, light switches wouldn’t work, and mini fridge was not working.
- 5/5
Close to airport and appreciate the shuttle
- 1/5
Rooms dirty. Dog poop spots in room. Total garbage hotel. Another room we got smells like tobacco factory. Hair everywhere in room on bedding.
- 2/5
Stains where
- 5/5
Clean room, front desk friendly and accommodating
- 2/5
The whole place was very inconvenient and the service was terrible I had to pay for parking and the buffet breakfast was bad limited choices and it cost $16:a person
- 5/5
The property is fine for me and suits my needs. May not be everyone
- 5/5
Staff were all very nice and helpful.
- 4/5
The airport shuttle was easy to find and the timing was good
- 4/5
Better coffee in the room
- 4/5
Clean rooms. Nice beds nice staff. No coffee at front desk
- 5/5
Room was comfortable, shuttle to the airport runs every 15 min which was really nice. Left on time.
- 2/5
the room next door was very loud.
- 4/5
The room was spotless
- 1/5
Terrible experience- you can do better. Using a cheesy app to PAY for onsite parking. Being charged $5 for a blah, cold breakfast. And having a loud fan in the heating system that kept me awake half the night. If never go back
- 5/5
The stat was absolutely amazing Even the restaurant was amazing. My son is severely autistic and they made him feel so special. They saw the healing stones around his necklace that I had gotten him for his birthday and they blessed him with the healing stone and just really made his birthday everything. Thank you so much. I will definitely be staying again. Could’ve been a warmer though. It was kind of cold.
- 2/5
Staff was polite and helpful. Halls smelled like marijuana and cigarettes. Paid parking was communicated in the ad. So that great rate wasn’t as competitive as the others with free parking.
- 3/5
Room was very outdated.
- 5/5
We always stay here when we have an early morning flight.
- 3/5
The room was fine, clean etc. But there were no black out curtains on the window! My window faced the parking lot. I couldn't sit on the bed to vhange my clothes and the light from the parking lot was right outside shining in. Black out curtains are a must!!!!!!!
- 5/5
The staff was very kind and accommodating, I was able to secure an early check-in at no charge, and the facilities were nice and clean. Convenient location and the free shuttle from the airport was a bonus. Will definitely choose this location again the next time I'm in Portland
- 2/5
The hotel was dirty felt like i was in 1 star motel. The food was cold witch i oaid 16 dollars for.
- 4/5
Great Hotel
- 5/5
Shuttle is easy - no breakfast
- 5/5
I always stay at this hotel when I am flying in or out of the Portland airport. I find it very comfortable, with clean rooms, comfortable beds, and I never have any issues with loud noise or disappointing facilities. I think it is a good quality for the cost, and I will continue staying here when I am in need of a hotel near the airport.
- 5/5
Simple, easy for using PDX
- 5/5
Very good, but the parking are 24.99 per day
- 5/5
The front desk attendant was excellent and very kind was able to check us into our room a little bit early!
- 4/5
Great hotel by the airport. Shuttle was on time and the staff was very friendly. Had a nice place to grab a drink and eat in the hotel.
- 5/5
My only complaint would be the breakfast potatoes were cold.
- 5/5
Good nice and clean
- 4/5
Clean but outdated. Close to the airport. Staff at desk were fine but not
- 5/5
Clean room, fresh smelling sheets, coffee in room. Night check in was friendly and pleasant, morning check out was absolutely pleasant, courteous and helpful. Enjoyed my stay and recommend highly.
- 4/5
It was good
- 4/5
Shuttle service was great
- 5/5
Love the stay
- 4/5
The hotel itself was great, location to airport, staff and shuttle all excellent, my only concern was that I received email confirmations that gave me the wrong holiday Inn phone number, so it took a bit of jumping through hoops to find the number to call for the shuttle. I do not think that was the fault of the hotel staff but an issue that should be addressed
- 5/5
Clean and good value
- 1/5
Immediately after leaving the motel I realized I left my favorite shoes in the room. The motel had been texting me during my stay. I texted the number about my shoes and no reply. I tried to call the motel but my call went unanswered several times. I filled out the lost item form on their website and still nothing…beyond disappointing!
- 2/5
Carpet dirty, pillow case smelled like a dirty head and not fresh sheets. Desk lady wasnt friendly! I wont stay here again.
- 4/5
Free shuttle service was greatly appreciated
- 5/5
Room was spotless and we got a great nights sleep.
- 5/5
The shuttle service was great
- 3/5
One of your security guards is kind of creepy
- 4/5
Convenient. Near the airport.
- 4/5
Clean very convenient
- 4/5
Staff great. Decent restaurant and cocktail bar in hotel. Convenient to airport and airport parking available. Bathroom needs updating and room needed repainting. Room was definitely worn. Bed comfortable. Significant homeless problem in surrounding area.
- 5/5
We stayed one night before an early morning flight so we weren’t able to experience the included breakfast. Our room met our expectations and was great for what we needed.
- 3/5
Airport shuttle was fast and convenient
- 4/5
Clean, safe, friendly staff, perfect for our late night arrival in Portland.
- 4/5
Clean
- 3/5
Decent rooms but terrible prices for parking
- 4/5
Hard to find at night. A little noisy outside.
- 5/5
Shuttle service to Pdx is a plus!
- 1/5
Staff didn’t answer the phones, had to pay for parking, had to pay for breakfast. Musty smell in hallways, room was next to a train that ran in the night.
- 5/5
Yes room of spotless and Andy at chicken was very friendly and helpful.
- 5/5
Excellent service and cleanliness
- 3/5
Very old
- 5/5
Room was spotless, beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was very good, and the pool was great.
- 1/5
The noise was unbelievable. How is anyone supposed to sleep with all the noise .
- 5/5
The stay was great and good location
- 5/5
Good and very nice
- 5/5
always a great place to stay close to the airport.. booked a handful of times already
- 4/5
Nice & clean, near the airport & the falls; very reasonable price for a night stay. Oh , and the parking lot had a beaming red beauty of maple trees.
- 5/5
Convenient
- 2/5
Room always clean. Driver from the airport was not friendly. The driver to the airport was very friendly.
- 3/5
Was OK
- 5/5
It was very nice and quiet. After a long day of travels by, it was nice to go to our room and relax.
- 4/5
The property needs updates. However it was a decent stay for a short term layover.
- 5/5
room was lovely. Everything was perfectly placed. The facility has wondrous character.
- 5/5
Always amazing they are so sweet and so wasy if toy need t9 parj and fly!
- 3/5
Also, the shuttle is convenient but something needs to be done about airport pickup scheduling - I waited 25 minutes after calling for a pickup and when it showed up, the people who got there after me tried to cut the line. The shuttle phone line requests that you give your name, but the driver accepted whomever pushed onto the bus first. Very frustrating at 11pm after a long day.
- 5/5
Convenient and cleanliness.
- 5/5
Staff for the most part was superb.
- 5/5
Awesome staff
- 5/5
Easy to get to! Nice check-in staff. Good price!
- 2/5
The reservation was very very misleading. Breakfast was not included. There was no whirl pool as stated.
- 4/5
Solid for the price
- 4/5
I'm going back to the shilo inn airport way rd soooo much better first time here and my last time never again
- 3/5
The property looks dates and like an incomplete conversion. The rooms are fine, but the beds appear smaller than advertised. Everything looks older and worn.
- 4/5
I would stay here again.
- 5/5
Airport shuttle. Clean comfy nice rooms.
- 5/5
Rooms were clean, the staff were courteous and helpful. Liked the shuttle to the airport, very convenient
- 5/5
Airport shuttle was easy and fast
- 4/5
Room a/c unit was a bit noisy.
- 5/5
Great
- 5/5
The staff bent over backward to accommodate me. Clear room, comfortable bed. Very quiet. I appreciate that!!

We liked the close proximity to the airport. The free airport shuttle was also a plus. The only downside we had was that the water in the shower drained really slowly. The water was way above my ankles by the time each of us finished.

When I checked in at 12:30 a.m. mistakenly to the wrong Holiday Inn the gentleman behind the counter told me the only room left was a king suite for 289 a night both mornings when I left the hotel and the one evening I came back to the hotel the parking lot was 3/4 full and most of those were semi trucks I have a hard time believing the hotel was full and the only room left was the one for 289 very disappointed
- 5/5
Great service just you have to pay for parking even if you stay there … crazy I’m already paying to stay there
- 1/5
Tried to kick me out after first night then charged my car multiple times including a deposit they tried to charge twice. Overall ruined my travel experience.
- 3/5
The restaurant/bar was cl9sed all evening. Had to drive to a restaurant for dinner. Wasn't plan and neither did i expect to pay for parking. Off columbia blvd. Industrial area. No place to walk either me or the dog.

I’m disabled and wheelchair dependent. This is the best ADA experience I’ve had. Everyone was so nice and helpful.
- 3/5
I did appreciate the kind staff. I would like to note that the parking was very limited. By 8pm the lot is full.

The location was extremely easy to navigate to, and parking was easy to navigate. We felt very safe - the lot was well lit.
- 4/5
great location and very clean.
- 5/5
The place is clean, the bed offers great comfort, and the water pressure is good. The staff members are friendly. Additionally, the shuttle service is outstanding!
- 2/5
Will never stay here again dirty and disgusting
- 3/5
Shuttle was hard to see...no signs listing names of shuttle they should be easily identified. Shuttle was crowded and uncomfortable.
- 5/5
Nice hotel to stay at flying in or flying out. Clean and comfortable. Shuttle pick up was super quick.
- 5/5
The front desk was great with explaining how to get picked up after we dropped off our rental. Also very. Lear about shuttle service back to airport. Both shuttle drivers were courteous and friendly
- 5/5
I loved everything about my stay. Staff were great. Rooms were clean. Swimming pool was very nice!
- 4/5
The hotel is old but wirh some updated features like soap and lotion on the wall and a giant tv.HVAC system is very loud. But restaurant food and hotel staff were great.
- 4/5
Bed was comfy.
- 5/5
Rooms are a little outdated but can’t beat the price. Clean and safe. No complaints. Staff were helpful and pleasant. Will stay here again.

The carpet was ugly, old & stained. Parking was not as advertised “because there was a new company doing it” so it cost more.
- 5/5
Quick shuttle ride was nice after a late flight. Holiday Inn was fantastic.
- 3/5
Front Desk was not very helpful or did they acknowledge my status. Dinning was not great if you want to watch a MLB play off game. TVs in the room work half the time. Upgrade offered seemed like a down grade.
- 4/5
Weird smell in 1st/lobby area, parking not free
- 4/5
Great front desk staff service
- 5/5
I didn’t like the idea that I had to pay $16 a day for parking I’ve never heard of any hotel paying to park unless you were actually parking to catch a plane then that’s understandable but I only stayed the night and then you have to pay $16 for the not free continental breakfast per person
- 2/5
Room was clean, breakfast attendants were very kind. There is a shuttle to and from the airport. Another shuttle is advertised on their website but its just that, an ad. You have to figure out the company and contact them. Despite pre booking, there was a $50 per day incidental which was not made known, again per day. Ended up using some of that for frozen and pantry food from the hotel, since I couldn't use that $100 for good food around town, and my card was charged upon check, not checkout. The hotel isn't very fancy or new looking. Its a jaunt to the nearest bus stop to get around town. A/C and heating work well. The room was decent and the bed was clean, the bathroom was stocked with small hotel essentials. I traveled all the way from South Texas and definitely would have second guessed my stay there based on comfort, cost and convenience.
- 4/5
No ski facilities
- 5/5
Great customer service
- 1/5
Was close to the airport but thats the only plus, it was dirty almost every wall looked like it was dirty or has random paint brush strokes. Our room smelled like cigarettes and the sheets had stains on them. Would never set foot in here again
- 5/5
Convenient to airport
- 2/5
You have to pay for parking, breakfast, coffee. Nothing is complimentary.
- 5/5
Great location for early flights
- 4/5
Front desk staff....excellent, especially the (male) mgr.
- 5/5
Front desk clerk was friendly and professional, check in was a breeze. Room was clean and comfortable however the walls in the hallway need to be painted or have new wallpaper hung, very shabby looking.
- 5/5
Staff was friendly, helpful, quick.
- 4/5
Very clean rooms and bed was comfy. Staff friendly and helpful
- 5/5
Everyone was friendly. Restaurant was nice and reasonably priced.
- 2/5
I reserved a king bed with mountain view and got a view of industrial parking lot...no mountain view. When I questioned female at front desk she acted very put out that I questioned her about getting the room I reserved. She offered me aroom on higher floor with 2 double beds or $30 refund. I took the $30 off. They had no access to any water in hotel other than tap water! The frt desk attendant said they were running lot on water?!? They area the hotel is in is not what was advertised..Very unsatisfied!
- 1/5
Booked a queen room and got put in room with double beds. Had to request a room change and they used the excuse that they had an event and that’s why they put me in the double bed room. Very frustrating because we had a lot of luggage we had to tote back and forth. Was told we had to pay $12 just to park in the parking lot which makes no sense and the shower head was terrible with almost no pressure.

- 5/5
The rooms are very nice, the staff helpful, breakfast is good, other amenities are a plus.
- 3/5
A car is must to stay at this hotel there was nothing in walking distance. The staff was super nice. There were not any Mountain View’s I was looking forward to it.
- 3/5
The fact that you have to pay for parking at the hotel, is not optional. While the rate of the hotel room was good, you lost the savings because you have to pay for parking. The paying for parking is not well advertised.
- 4/5
Staff was friendly when we arrived. However the TV and several other electronics were unplugged and there were very few outlets. They did provide a plug in strip but why didn’t they use it themselves and have the room all ready?
- 5/5
Not the cleanest
- 3/5
Front desk staff did a great job but unable to meet the demand of the job without any additional assistance. Leaving 1 employee at peak check-in is not acceptable
- 5/5
Second time there. Easy for keeping car while on vacation
- 5/5
Clean room. Amazing staff. Target is behind the hotel. Easy airport parking in back lot. Feels safe to keep the car here
- 3/5
Staff was great!! Restaurant was closed and wrong directions were given for shuttle location when calling the automated phone # and not very clean but very close to the airport.
- 5/5
The those pillows absolutely amazing. The entire place was nice. I stay here in a heartbeat again for sure.
- 2/5
Warning $13 per day parking. This hotel uses their parking lot as park and fly and most available open parking is located in back side lot in unsafe area that hotel customers have to park. The hotel restaurant was close due to no cook available. The hallways are mismatch paint on walls that makes Motel 6 look much better than them. The cabinet in my room hinges are falling apart. This hotel was once a very nice place to stay now it is disappointing would never come back.
- 5/5
Very convenient
- 5/5
The pillows smelled dirty

No housekeeping performed on 2 night stay. Lacking room towels and toiletries.
- 1/5
The shower was disgusting and did not drain. The staff was rude and the breakfast which they charge $16 for had cold and hard french toast and slimy eggs.
- 5/5
Clean comfortable room dining on property & easy to get to airport.
- 5/5
Maid service was great. We stayed 5 nights even though we didn’t use PDX airport.
- 3/5
Room was clean, staff was helpful, and the location and shuttle were very convenient to PDX. Room smelled a bit smoky and public areas were in need of refresh and maintenance. Not a hotel I would stay at for fun, but worthwhile for convenience to the airport.
- 4/5
It was ok. Kind of a slightly run down convention center hotel. Great for airport access and parking.
- 2/5
This hotel is not very handicap friendly. The only rooms with bars were on the first floor and not close to the lobby. My husband had a difficult time walking with his walker to where our room was located, especially over the carpeted hallway. Upgrades are needed. The tub in our room was chipped.
- 5/5
View of Mount Hood.

So we were told to shuttle could be ordered to go to cascade station. The shuttle came partway down. The driveway turned around and left and we waited another 30 minutes for one to come pick us u. Then, when we were ready to leave the restaurant, we called the number on the car that the front desk had given us, and it only connected us for information for the shuttle to pick us up at the airport! I was finally able to get through to the front desk (after many tries) and the shuttle arrived 30 minutes later. From the time we arrived at the hotel around 4 PM until we left the next morning, we were so frazzled from the bad service that we felt like we had lived through a nightmare! Needless to say, we will never recommend this hotel. And the people we talked with as we waited for the restaurant to open and for the shuttle to come will probably never darken your door again, either!
- 3/5
Everything about this place is extremely mid. You could probably get more money's worth staying somewhere else. In addition, when we turned the heat on, it smelled like someone's hair / flesh was BURNING, so we just opted to be cold the whole night. When we woke up we noticed blood on the pillows and we were icked out. It was weird and thankfully it was a one night stay. A majority of the hotel is in moderate to poor condition, with much of the walls and such looking like it's been chewed on.
- 5/5
Staff was extremely helpful. Unfortunately, the shuttle driver would not take us to our cars so we had to walk.
- 5/5
Great room! Excellent location! Close to airport!
- 5/5
Great
- 2/5
Everything about this hotel was nice in terms of cleanliness pillows, comfort, etc. but one terrible thing stands out, which is that they advertise the room for a decent price and then they make you pay for parking! They even express surprise that you’re parking overnight at their hotel. I mean, what ?? It’s a HOTEL, of course you’re parking overnight there and since when was Parking not included?
- 5/5
Clean room comfortable bed
- 5/5
Room was clean and comfortable. Location is convenient to PDX. Shuttle service to PDX was superb!
- 3/5
Rooms are nice enough to rate about 7.5 on a scale of 10. I did encounter a couple of problems. #1. In all current online searches parking is advertised as free on site. It was not. You are required to download an app. and pay the current price of $12 per day. There is no alternative parking option so everyone is hostage to this. #2. My search parameters also included “ breakfast included “ and it was not. $16 per person for what is offered is ridiculous. I was very lucky to deal with employee Andi, who issued me 2 meal vouchers as I explained I knew for certain I had booked in part because of breakfast being included, but I had to pay the parking charge. I don’t think Holiday Inn will be the best value nearest PDX when forced to clean up the false advertising on the internet sites.

All the staff has been there for us, good food fast check in process and a lot of smiling faces willing to help to make our stay very enjoyable thank you very much and keep the good work

The holiday inn Portland was a great option for overnight stay before our early flight home. Reception staff friendly and helpful. Room comfortable , clean, and not noisy. Very efficient airport shuttle service.
- 4/5
It was good
- 5/5
Staff here especially front desk are courteous and respectful.
- 5/5
The hotel itself is fine. Travelocity made it arrival difficult. The Email Travelocity sends has directions, but no address. Address is far more important than directions as I wasn't coming from any of the options presented. The address is confusing because there are two HI Airport hotels (one is an Express). Even worse the phone number in the email goes to a third Holiday Inn in Portland. So no address and no phone number in the Travelocity email.
- 4/5
Our room needed the carpet to be washed. Looked very dirty in front of refrigerator. The drapes for black out did not close and I had to tape them shut and they were ripped. The bath towels were too small and there was only one per person.
