I like the staff when it’s first checked in around 3 PM there was an African-American gal that was pregnant that was amazing and another lady with her that I think for the manager they were great We were in room 125 and the entire room smelled like marijuana all night long people were partying and smoking marijuana and people from random acts of life hang out in the front and the staff in the evening is not friendly. Also they say it’s a grab and go breakfast but there was barely nothing left except the muffins when we went in there

The hotel itself was awesome as well the staff was top notch. Only downfall is the amount of homeless out on the main road along this hotel. Which the hotel can not help. I would certainly stay here again for its warm welcome plus close proximity to the max(light rail).

The staff were a pain to deal with, said they’d compensate a lost passport after a cleaning lady went in after I explicitly told her no. They then backed out and were incredibly rude. They did not need to say they would cover it if they weren’t going to.

This is not a like! They charged me a late checkout fee when Priceline screwed up my reservation. I tried everything to see if we could make it work I got constant 15 minute warnings even though we were trying to get Priceline to transfer the reservation. Then i got all my stuff out in 15 minutes and she remarked I owed a late fee. She said I would not be allowed to stay in the future if I didn't pay. I said that is fine with me and then still got a late fee charge. That was one of the most petty bullshit charges I have ever seen. I asked to talk to the manager who was there and she said she was too busy. I will put all of this on Yelp and any other site. I also have no problem standing in front of your entrance and tell any possible customers to never go to this place. Everything

Please be careful with this place if you happen to have any delays I’m checking in. They will literally cancel your reservation if you arrive a bit late. Even if you say forget the reservation, I would like to book another room. There was say no it’s too late. We can’t rent out rooms after hours. They are so f…. Up. Specially a guy NAME SIMON, he thinks his the boss. He would not try to give you a room even if in the website shows that there is more rooms available. He would say no there’s not and not even try to help you. STAY AWAY

I really enjoy staying at any Extended Stay America. They're always clean. The rooms are larger than your typical hotel/motel. Most important, the beds are comfortable! In addition, you get lots of in-room amenities. Of all the chains I've stayed in, this is the only one in recent years I've considered joining their club. It's really just that comfortable and reliable.

I would point out that I chose this place because it had arguable the best price of places in the area and Google images showed it looked fine from the outside Buuuuut unfortunately the outside of the hotel is plagued with the homeless at night and mist everyone we saw there looked shady and unfriendly. However, this isn't the fault of the hotel so I don't hold it against them Out room had a few quirks but generally was clean. We noticed little areas where paint had been smearing in areas outside the was, such as in the trim, but you would only notice them if you were looking for them. Only major issue I can hand to them is the fact our bed was rich hard. We slept on it for one night and then reached out to the staff to ask if we could upgrade or if they could make it right. They immediately got us a new room with a bed that had far more cushion and was even cleaner then the first. So, very big props to them for putting in the effort and helping us so soon. Staff was very good. Desk ladies had good adittudes when we made requests, had towels at the ready when we asked and again made right on our bed issue. Only other issue I can think of was the water pressure in the bathroom was wonky. Shower was weak in pressure but the sink was very powerful. Not a huge issue though. Hot water cane when you asked for it so that's great in my book. For anyone who is wondering, we did get free wifi it worked well

  • Richard Sep 2025 · via expedia
    2/5

First off, the staff is friendly and provides excellent service. Unfortunately that is the only positive. The property is in the middle of a homeless area (probably like most of Portland) and the presence of that population dominates the area. When we arrived, the power to the area of the hotel was out but the staff still managed to get us checked in and into our room (though we were surprised there was no emergency lighting in the hallways). Also be aware the smell of marijuana is prevalent from the time you leave your car until you enter your room. The room furnishings are at best meager. The kitchenette for the "extended stay" property contains only a refrig, micro oven, sink and hot plate. No dishes or utensils unless you specially request them at the front desk. There's not even a coffee maker in the room or an ice machine on the property (make your own in the freezer). But there's no table to eat on anyway unless you use the desk. The only chair is a beat up desk chair and the bureau only had two drawers but shelves and cutouts for a refrig and micro which are not needed. The "healthy breakfast" is a total joke. Coffee, oatmeal (in a cup), fruit bars, yogurt or hard boiled egg. THAT'S IT! Finally, be prepared for the gatherings in the parking lot. People were just hanging out by their cars drinking beer and smoking pot. Did see one security guard but he parked his car, got out and stopped to have a smoke with the other patrons hanging out by the entry door.

The hotel itself and staff were great, but the surrounding area has a lot of drug users/homeless roaming the area. I didn’t see any in the parking lot for the hotel itself, but they were close by in the adjacent parking lots (especially the Burger King.) They didn’t bother us, but something you should be aware of if staying there. The parking lot is well lit and there’s a private security car that frequently patrols the area.

The reception was always unattended, which made it difficult to get help or resolve any issues that arose. The breakfasts were practically non-existent. We were only offered coffee and a muffin, which was very disappointing considering the price we paid. Additionally, there were many homeless people in the surrounding area, which made us feel uncomfortable. The worst part was when the power went out on Friday morning, and there were no emergency lights. They didn't even notify us of what had happened, which left us in a very uncomfortable situation. Overall, my experience at this hotel was very bad, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

Power outage happened during my stay. No staff on premesis. All hallways dark without illuminated Exit signs and stairwells were pitch black. Used cell phone flashlight to get downstairs and exit building. No one at front desk. Front door open and ajar and anyone could enter building undetected. Security guards were out at far end of parking lot chit-chatting and not working. A lot of vagrant and homelessness in the area. Unsafe situation for several reasons. I would have hoped that property management would bring in battery powered lighting for hallways and stairwells to help guests exit. It was a ghost town and apocalyptic. Property management needs to reconsider safety protocols. I won't stay here again.

We use to love to stay in extended stay properties, but this one was a bad experience. Staff was so unfriendly, unwelcoming, our room was fairly decent, clean, but the shower curtain was almost falling off. The smell in the building and hall ways was horrible, smelled like smoke and weed made me very sick. They say no smoking but obviously they do a horrible job to ensure that for everyone. The area was so scary too many homeless all around the property. I highly recommend booking elsewhere!!!

The neighborhood is not the best. There were many people parked in the parking lot sleeping in their cars making it somewhat uncomfortable going into the hotel at night. The staff was great and very friendly. The room was very spacious and had a refrigerator and sink which was great. We unfortunately did encounter a little visitor in our room. When I got there to check in they stated I had to wait because there was a shift change. They were having a farewell party at the desk while people were waiting. After they started to complain about a negative review they got and how it wasn’t their fault. The places smelled of weed in the whole hotel. It was giving me and my kids a headache. We had to stay out of the hotel and just come to sleep. It smelt really bad. I was upset about it because it looks like the are remodeling it and it looks nice but the smell just over powers. The breakfast was just a muffin oatmeal and a fruit. That is not a breakfast. I feel they could specify what their breakfast is like other hotels when it not a real breakfast.

Convenient location for trips to National/State Parks in the area and Interstate access. Very convenient food truck center in the area for some meals. Some of the area not the best, but wasn’t too bad while we stayed.

Our room was a decent size. Two queen beds and it had a little kitchenette in it. Room was clean. Beds are just ok. We seen at least 25/30 homeless walking around outside. There was security present but make sure to lock vehicles. There’s a cute little food trailer park nearby. The breakfast was not good. Only had muffins, nutrition grain bars and oatmeal. ZERO drinks other than coffee. No juice, milk etc for kids. If you’re considering this because it claims they serve breakfast I’d look elsewhere.

Good spot for a few night stay. Better than average Extended Stay Property in a quiet industrial-ish area about 12-15 minute drive from the airport and few minutes walk from light rail. Good food truck park right at the front of the property.

Breakfast was disappointing. Tiny vending machine type individually wrapped muffin and a small granola bar….. Area is depressing with lots of “unhoused” loitering close by. Not a place you want to be walking around after dark. Some of the hotel guests look like they’re residing there. I t worked for our need but for the price $ 228, I would pick another option next time. On the positive side, my car was not broken into!

Sounds like there was a bull in a china shop above us from 7pm-3am asked front desk at 10pm if they could ask to have them quiet down and nothing changed. Beds were very very hard. Bathroom was not cleaned. It is not a safe to park your car as lots of homeless are in the parking lot and close by.

Upon arriving/checking in at about 6:45pm, I waited for a good 10 minutes for the front desk person to show up. There were 2 people waiting in line already, one of them said the front desk person was gone for half hour. I was put on the second floor in a room near the elevator facing the lobby. At night I could hear people talking loudly in the lobby. On the other side of the room, I could hear people talking loudly downstairs from the window side. The fire alarm beeping happened to start that night and kept going on for the ENTIRE night because it was STILL beeping in the morning by the time I checked out. Fortunately I had a pair of ear plugs that I could use. I did sleep OK.

We did not like the hotel at all. First, at the entrance there were a lot of homeless people there. We felt unsafe there. Secondly, as soon as we entered there was a very bad smell in the halls and rooms. Third, the bedsheets, chairs, and tubs were dirty, too. Fourth, the curtains had mold. Lastly, they took three hours to come to replace the bedsheets. We do not recommend it at all.

I arrived at 3:05, check in is 3pm. I get there and staff is helping someone for over 10/15 minutes as the line gets longer. Then I finally get to the counter to check in around 3:25ish or so and the woman is rude. Tells me there is no room ready for me cuz I have a pet with me. Apparently booking thru 3rd party is cumbersome. The 2 staff members stood there talking to each other for almost 10lbs before even starting the process to check in me. The woman talked bad about other guests and stated people were gonna complain about rooms not being ready. I called her out for talking like that in front of guests and was immediately spoken down too. Then the young man at the counter proceeded to show my room number (using my key card jacket as the example)to the crowd of men behind at me as he explained the check in process. I am a single female traveling alone and this was extremely unsafe thing to do. Also the bathroom light was broken. And the door to the room didn’t fully shut. For a quick over nigjt stay it was fine. But never again.

The room as very nice and clean, the only issues I ran into is the front desk receptionist questioned myself and my service dog. She tried to charge me a pet fee and I said that my dog was service dog she even had a vest on stating service dog. But because my service dog got super close to me a cried, the lady said “that’s not what a service dog does, what service does it provide” very rudely “then stated that her manager was gonna have her ass” I replied that “her and her manager can see my documents if it’s that big of a deal, even tho by law I don’t have to show any documentation! Other than that it wasn’t a bad hotel, lots of homeless around so just be aware.

My card got charged even though I clicked Pay at property. We were disappointed with the grab and go breakfast. Barely anything there probably some coffee and cereals. We didn't see any bread or fruits to go. We opted to eat out instead. The room looks clean although we had to open the window and air it out. It smelled kinda funky in there like a mix of maybe something in the carpet, cigarettes or maybe the last person cooked something and just stuck in the room. I recommend a deep clean for the carpet/entire unit. Can't really stream our own Netflix account there, Internet was slow even after we called their IT department. On a good note, The staff was nice and professional. Easy check in and check out. I like how they framed a piece of law article by the elevator. Twas a nice read while I wait.

After all this in night, got up on morning and went for breakfast and saw there was only muffin and energy bar for breakfast. They have free breakfast and only have muffin and energy bar. That too we had to keep calling the front desk person to refill that also as she would put o my 15 packets at one time. Would not recommend this hotel for stay at all. Location was good where the property is but that’s it. Nothing else was good here.

The lobby wreaked of pot smoke when we arrived. The key card machine was down, so we had to be let in our room by the desk clerk. Our room’s smoke detector was going off. The desk clerk (who was great) changed the battery. Twice. Still wouldn’t stop going off. So we had to switch rooms. But, because the clerk was there alone, checking people in, this whole process took over an hour.

There was only one visible employee at check in. After waiting for several minutes she showed up carrying cleaning products. Was she also the ckeaning staff? She was cordial. The neighborhood was very scetchy with a visible police presence and bright lights outside all night that our blinds barely blocked. The property itself seemed clean and once inside I felt safe. I did keep peeking out at my car several times throughout our stay. I definitely wouldn't stay again.
