Reviews
The hotel is generally clean and comfortable with friendly staff. However, some guests have experienced issues with parking fees, uncleanliness, and lack of amenities.

- Parking fees
- Uncleanliness in some rooms and areas

Made a compliant twice. Noise level was an issue. Delton and Aden were awesome!!! Food was good! Amenities were great!
- 2/5
The reality is if you stay more then one night your better off with separate reservations so you get a fresh room when you return from a day out.
- 2/5
Our room was dirty. Long silver hair on the floor all over the place. Spots on the chair and walls. It seemed that it was not cleaned before we arrived. When we tried to talk to someone about it they were always on the phone and didn't want to be bothered. The breakfast that was available with the coupon given to us at check in was very limited and not at all full meals. And we were questioned about where we got the coupon as if we had not be given it. Overall rude morning staff and not a clean room. Disappointing because we spent an extra $150 to stay there instead of the place closer to the event we were attending because we expected it to be a nicer/cleaner place to stay.
- 5/5
Nice place. The only negative comment has to go to the 10. per day parking junk fee!! It is absolutely ridiculous to charge guests to park a car!!!
- 5/5
Nice clean hotel. Nice lobby and bar area with pool table.
- 4.5/5
Room accommodations, staff friendliness and professionalism was great
- 5/5
It was good location. Lots of food options down the street and easy to get back on highway.
- 4/5
The hotel was amazing and smelled like a 5-star property. It was probably one of the best-smelling hotels I have ever stayed at. The only issues I experienced were seeing a couple of ants in the bathroom throughout my stay, the sink water pressure was very low, and there was no hand soap bottle—only a bar of soap. Other than that, my stay was excellent.

All good thanks

-charges fee for parking $10 a night -incidental charge of $40 -can hear everything outside -noisy upstairs children all night -charges for breakfast -attempts to up charge for internet -annoying plumbing -uncomfortable bed with lumps and the pillows were just air -ancient tv that tries to be a smart tv but fails -toilet paper that falls off the fixture randomly Booked through Expedia based on price and having read other reviews of other hotels. I didn’t read this one after I got tired of looking but I sure wish I did because for the price it was not worth it. No free breakfast. Paid parking. You can hear everything outside on the second floor. Someone thought it was funny to place kids on the third floor. They cried and banged on the floor all night and if they were doing that they were bouncing something on the ground. The shower while hot and decent pressure was annoying because it dripped on the weird drain fixture causing a ringing noise constantly while in the shower. The toilet paper hook seemed like it just wanted to fall off the wall. Staff were rude when checking in and laughing about the extra charge for breakfast. Also got to kill two spiders I found in the room. Not worth the money or ever coming back to stay at again.

The rooms were clean and staff lovely.

Everything was good
- 2.5/5
It was clean and comfortable. Not a good value. No tissue, or glasses in the bathroom. The refrigerator is strange. You push a button for it to operate for 2 hours. So don’t bring food you want cold over night. By the time you pay for parking, and the breakfast that’s offered you could have stayed at a really nice place for the same money

The room was clean and the building was average, we have stayed here before so we knew what to expect, the front desk ladie who checked us out was rude, we had a billing issue with the restaurant and instead of helping she laughed and implied that it was all my fault, she proceeded to call her manager on the radio and I can clearly hear them taking crap about us and and they both laughed, when the manager come down they both were not only making faces at as but also laughing as if our issue was not big deal, horrible horrible customers service. Never staying here again.

The lady at the desk was super friendly they had good food the environment was peaceful quiet The room was clean nice I would totally stay there again
- 4/5
Pros: seven eleven with gas station is next to the hotel . The best is the parking fee is very affordable. Still convenient to get to downtown Portland. Room is clean and quiet during night. Cons: booked of 4 but not only this hotel , bath towels were not enough. Found a couple tiny sugar ants the desk under TV. Overall we’d like to stay there again : )

- 5/5
The staff was great and I really enjoyed my room
- 4/5
The property was lovely, a pool table available and a nice courtyard, comfortable room. The only down side was the room doors slam shut so hard the could be heard at all times
- 5/5
Great place!!!!
- 5/5
I didn't eat breakfast. I'm guessing it's pet friendly, as the throw pillows in my room had dog hair on them.

Amazing staff and pool was nice also has a nice hot tub
- 4/5
The guys who checked us in on Wednesday was outstanding!! The gal serving coffee on Friday is rude and disinterested in her job. Had to get her off her phone to do ANYTHING. If I was her boss she would have been done after her attitude and rudeness.

The accommodations were very good and everything was clean.
- 5/5
Nice property, rooms were very clean. Beds are a bit hard for my liking, but not terrible. Staff was friendly and helpful. My only issue was the tile around the inside of the pool is very dirty as is the floor tiles around the pool. But the pool and hot tub water were clean, the hot tub was hot and the jets worked well, most hotels usually have a issue with them working and in my experience, either the pool or hot tub or both are closed oftentimes, especially in the winter. This was a great stay for us and our two grandkids and we would be happy to come again.
- 5/5
Stayed for a business trip, quick overnight. Reception was pleasant, room was clean and comfortable. Low maintenance trip but everything I needed. I’d stay again for similar trip.
- 5/5
so peaceful and quiet. loved the room!
- 5/5
We had a fantastic time. It was refreshing to see the hotel match the pictures they advertise. Our room, bathroom, elevator and lobby were spotless. Parking was convenient, and we felt safe in our location. The staff was friendly and helpful throughout our stay.
- 3/5
The room was decent, the cleaning staff needs to do a better job. There was an obvious soda or some other kind of “sprayed” substance on the AC/Heat unit and on the wall next to it and another similar spray mark on the wall next to the bed. Someone left crumbs under the coffeemaker tray and there were ants crawling all over them. The bathtub drain hole plate was uncovered/missing, looked like it fell behind the tub somehow. And the air freshener in the lobby and hallways was WAY too strong, overwhelming. We got headaches from it, it was that strong. Carpets in the halls need a good steam cleaning. They charge an extra $10 per night for parking in the hotel parking lot on top of the room rate which is just ridiculous.
- 5/5
They light up the outside of the building so the parking lot is well lit for safety of property and vehicles, it was quiet and peaceful. 10/10 we loved it! We’re trying to find a reason to come pack to Portland just to stay here again!
- 3/5
The room was clean and in good order, however the toilet paper holder was broken and appeared to have had suffered at least one failed attempt to repair leaving it hanging and holes in wall. It's unfortunate that guests don't treat hotels better. This is a very nice new hotel and already beginning to show wear and tear.
- 5/5
Clean & safe. Good location for airport hotel.
- 3/5
I was bummed that we had a room reserved for 4... but not extra bedding ect. The younger gal working swing didnt seem like she wanted to be there. Headphones in ect. I had to ask for multiple towels for the pool.
- 5/5
Kid loved the pool As well.
- 1/5
Horrible GM, Fraudently charged me 250 when I stay there every other week, called and demanded a refund, never returned call. Literally spent about 2k a month here and now myself and my team will no longer be staying there
- 5/5
Nice, clean hotel! Staff was very friendly.
- 4/5
the bed sheet smell not good so I asked for change it before I left in the morning. When I came back it nothing change. So I have to ask the front desk again and they give it to me to change it by myself

La comodidad y limpieza estuvo muy bien

Really good place
- 2/5
The room was organized and decent there was just an overlooked on some of the details like hair in the tub, the complimentary shower dispensers were all empty and there were stains on the curtains.
- 5/5
Really a good place
- 5/5
nice staff, clean room, quiet location

Nice people. I just wish the person at the counter stops giving me a handicap room.
- 5/5
the front desk staff are great
- 5/5
Great staff, clean room, and easily accessible parking lot, and felt very safe.
- 5/5
Everything was great!
- 2/5
We noticed someone had used an ice bag to cover a bright flashing light coming from the smoke detector. Was actually glad the hotel didn't remove it. However, day two of our trip we came back to a huge fan in our room. There had been a leaf from the room above. No one called or said anything until we called the front desk. They moved us..just annoying that they couldn't call or say sorry. Just yep we moved you.
- 2/5
It’s the front desk lady. She messes up everyone check in.
- 4/5
Nice
- 2/5
Had to look at three rooms before I found enough to stay in … on second day asked if someone would take my trash out and was told no I’m not scheduled for any service. The next day was Thanksgiving so of course no one came then. For three days I took my old trash out, no one ever came and replaced tissue with not a typical Marriott experience and I will not stay here again. From desk person on last day was very rude.
- 2/5
Stayed 4 nights and asked room to be serviced twice. The first time they made the beds and swept the bathroom but did refill shampoo, body wash or conditioner. Also didn’t leave any toliet paper. 2nd time
- 5/5
Great workout room. Pool and jacuzzi were fun. Wish the lobby provided coffee in the morning.
- 5/5
The service attendant was very pleasant and provided excellent customer service when I arrived.

Left a day early but they would not refund that day. They told me they could not refund it because paid to a third party. I wonder if Courtyard was paid by the "Third party"? So, in my view they should have refunded my money! Won't be staying at a Courtyard in the forseeable.
- 3/5
I paid for a king, got a queen and it does not feel good when youre 6ft 4
- 5/5
Staff was nice and friendly, room was clean with no difficulties on our stay
- 3/5
The property was very updated and nice. However there was a no smoking or vaping policy on the entire property and our room smelled like marijuana during the night while other customers in the same floor were smoking. So not sure they actually enforce that policy.
- 5/5
Great room very clean and quiet good amenities also!
- 5/5
The room was clean and comfortable. Nice and modern in decor. Our room was very quiet. We really enjoyed our stay here. We would definitely come back.

Very nice and modern facility with suburb cleanliness and amazing staff. Comfortable beds with convenience written everywhere! Great freeway access close to the airport.
- 5/5
Amazing stay. Friendly, clean, comfortable! Great value for price!
- 4/5
Just wish the beds were alittle comfortable and pillows. Other than that. I will come again and stay in RM101
- 1/5
Apparently the hotel was oversold and my reservation was cancelled without any notification to me. I was moved to a lesser quality property nearby. If I would have known the reservation had been cancelled, I would have found another property of similar or better quality myself. I was not pleased.
- 3/5
The “King” bed is actually only 72x79” which apparently hotels can list as king size. It feels like a queen. The walls are VERY thin and not soundproof. Our neighbors next door were laughing loudly until midnight when I went over and asked them to quiet down. They did, so I assume they weren’t aware how the sound traveled. FYI: ADA rooms are typically on the ground floor, but here they are on the 3rd floor all the way at the end of the hall.

Awesome
- 5/5
Hotel was great except you had to pay to park.
- 4/5
Great property, exercise room better than most. Staff was super friendly, only a couple little things but not enough to put my off recommending it.
- 5/5
Always welcoming! Great location!
- 4/5
Booked room with sofa bed in case son joined us on trip. Given room with a chair and no sofa bed. Son did join us and had to sleep in floor.
- 3/5
Price was very high for the quality. Pay to park is a joke at this hotel. Over time our travels have always included free breakfast. And, the quantity was terrible for the price. It is making us think twice about Marriott.
- 5/5
Comfortable rooms and way better than most other local hotels/motels !
- 1/5
They had a serious noise issue. we asked the stuff to change the room they said all the rooms are full. We checked out two days earlier. It was really bad.
- 5/5
Property was very nice guy at the front desk was very helpful
- 4/5
The Staff was great and helpful. The rooms were clean. The king bed was a bit uncomfortable and slanted inward toward the middle especially on one side. The sofa bed was also not very comfortable

This place is incredible. One of the nicest hotels we've ever stayed in. The personnel were very helpful when I needed help with something and accommodating in every way. The price was even quite incredible especially considering the high class hotel that it is.
- 5/5
Overall feel very safe.

- 5/5
The shower floor could have use a little more of elbow grease.
- 5/5
Staff was friendly and hotel was very nice, great value for the price
- 5/5
The room was clean and the bed comfortable. We didn't use them, but the pool area and gym looked nice.
- 4/5
great staff, very clean. quiet location. only issue was only coffee(except in room drip) was $5 cup. should at least offer free coffee when cafe is closed
- 5/5
Very clean and great service!
- 3/5
I am Disabled and your wheelchair accessible room was very far away from the elevator. Your front desk would not allow delivery drivers to bring food to my door which meant that I didn’t get fresh food every day because I couldn’t go down to the lobby. The accessible hearing function on the room did not work. I found used tissues under the fitted sheet on my bed. I requested supplies from within the Marriott Bonvoy app and didn’t receive anything. The room was very noisy with obtrusive sounds not only from nearby airport but also a train track right next to the property.Restaurant didn’t have any vegan options. Not impressed. Won’t be back.
- 5/5
They have plenty of parking, very quick elevators and being right off of i84 and 181st makes them the perfect hotel. Oh! And the rooms are SUPER CLEAN and I should probably mention the full bar.
- 5/5
Everything was great!
- 5/5
Nice building
- 1/5
Found a hidden camera in the smoke detector. Manager, Michael, came up to room with masking tape and I had to cover it in tape. Terrifying!
- 5/5
Overall good hotel with affordable rates and nice room finishes.
- 1/5
Staff was not eager to find a ADA room (I already booked the room) for my disabled son. The room I booked was occupied by someone else.
- 5/5
Great place
- 5/5
Great location!
- 5/5
The rooms were nice and clean, the hotel was quiet. They have a great fitness room, pool, and hot tub. The staff was very friendly and helpfu. We will stay there again.
- 5/5
All was good. Room very clean. Beds very comfortable. Only issue: no mat in tub to prevent slipping!
- 5/5
Friendly staff, clean room and lobby.
- 3/5
The staff didn’t notify me that the television in the rooms i reserved had absolutely no channels only but a blue screen for 4 days and no explanation other than it’s corporation issues and out of their hands
- 5/5
Tv was inoperable

Staff was welcoming and friendly

Nice hotel
- 5/5
It was very good and nice places to stay .. and also there is seven eleven in the front of hotel ..
- 5/5
Wonderful
- 4/5
The sink kept getting plugged otherwise it was a good stay
- 5/5
This hotel is fantastic! It’s conveniently located near the airport, only about a 15-minute drive to the city. Parking is easy, and there’s a gas station right across from the hotel, making it simple to grab a snack within walking distance. The hotel is budget-friendly and exceptionally clean. I would recommend it to anyone planning a trip to Portland.
- 2/5
Staff was very friendly however was not happy to find out we had to pay $10/day to park. Online said parking available but didn’t say there was a charge. Ants in our room at night. Something black on the sheets under the comforter, when I touched it, smeared. Hotel was full so we couldn’t switch rooms. Picked this hotel for the indoor pool, our daughter was excited to swim but someone puked in the pool. We realize that wasn’t the hotels fault but pool was closed for most of our stay. We chose this location due to high ratings but felt very misguided.
- 5/5
Great service and excellent amenities
- 4/5
What I really liked about the property was Jake at the front desk. He was amazing and went above and beyond to make our stay the best possible. Jake is a real asset to that company. What I didn't like was that the bistro was not open when we got there at dinner time. They were understaffed and did not open the bistro that night for dinner. We also were not able to eat at The bistro for breakfast because it closed really early..
- 5/5
Loved it!
- 5/5
5 stars. Definitely recommend if you have a car.
- 5/5
Great staff. Great vibe. I would definitely book here again

- 4/5
I dont like is have to pay for parking
- 5/5
Very nice and clean! Front desk attendant was great, it was very late when we arrived and he was super easy going!
- 5/5
Location is convenient, near airport, food and shopping. Easy access to downtown Portland and other major attractions. View of Mt. Hood from our hotel window was awesome!

Loved our stay there. The staff was kind and professional.
- 5/5
It was quiet and close to a lot of stores. I love the 711 across the street was convenient!

Great hotel for the price, plenty of places to eat near by rooms really clean and pool was also really clean l.
- 5/5
I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel! The property is newly renovated with modern decor. Bed was comfortable , staff very friendly. We were able to extend for a late check for a small fee ($50) so that we can catch the last flight out. I appreciated that they let us even stay even later than the time. Overall this was a great stay and I would stay here again.
- 5/5
Easy access to major road connection. Very clean and well appointed. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
- 5/5
Excellent location for the event that we were attending. Rooms were very small but very well designed. Not sure why there was $10 parking fee. It was just a normal parking lot, no underground or valley parking. Otherwise the stay was great.
- 5/5
Should have free breakfast
- 2/5
I stayed at the Courtyard by Marriott Portland East recently and was pretty disappointed with the experience. The room I got was dirty and noisy, and it took forever to check in. The staff was not very friendly and didn’t seem to want to help. I already shared my feedback with the property and at least got an apology letter. But it definitely left an impression that I wasn’t welcomed there.
- 4/5
Noisy area that with noise transmitted into sleeping rooms
- 2/5
On the outside it looked like a nice hotel, but the inside of the room was gross and poorly maintained. Our shower stall had what looked like razor blade gashes all around the basin and the towels and bed sheets were dirty. Gross.
- 4/5
This was a fun place. The staff seemed to know each other well and enjoy each other’s company. We definitely had problems, like our room didn’t have the pull out bed for our son and he had to sleep on the floor. It was pretty noisy right under a flight path and there were super loud doors, so we had trouble sleeping. But overall being around people who seemed happy and well connected made these problems feel smaller. Not the nicest place, but the nicest people.
- 3/5
The hotel is short on staff. We had to come to the reception to pick bedding for our sofa bed. Other than that, the staff present are polite. Room was clean. Breakfast options were good.
- 4/5
I didn't understand why there was a charge of $10.00 a day to park your vehicle when they have their own parking lot. Struck me as odd. It is surrounded by corporate warehouse businesses like Boeing and off the hiway. Seemed a bit greedy.
- 3/5
The property looks good and is clean. Staff was polite and friendly. Walls are extremely thin. You hear everything from the surrounding rooms and hall. Not very relaxing.
- 5/5
Great customer service
- 5/5
Everytbing was superb, the only thing we didnt get was the acsessible that we had asked for? But everything else was great, and the pool was excellent
- 5/5
This Marriott is a convenient location to the Portland airport, the Columbia River Gorge and the Mt Hood Scenic Loop which is why we were in the area. Very clean and what you'd expect from the Marriot chain.
- 3/5
My room had ants everywhere
