I liked the friendly office staff, clean room, comfortable bed, the small table with 2 chairs was very convenient for me.

Older hotel but very clean. Check in was fantastic with Brenda. Hotel was quiet. Beds comfy.

Very comfortable and convenient. If you need a place to shower and sleep, it is perfect. Love the free parking. Staff very friendly.

The clerk was friendly and very helpful. The room was clean and comfortable.

Misleading article About there continental breakfast they offer not lots of choices. Its better to buy your own breakfast. And no on site staff after midnights. Terrible Aladdin hotels
- 5/5
The heater didn't work, but coming off of summer they probably didn't have time to check yet. Told them though. I would definitely come here again the next time I am in Portland. Access to I-5 made going everywhere in Portland a breeze. Highly recommend.

We were presently surprised with our stay. The room was clean, parking was easy and convenient to our room, and, although they had coffee and a coffee maker in the room, they also had some drip coffee in the lobby all day. Staff was friendly. Lots of shops within easy walking distance. Neighborhood felt safe. We will stay here again.
- 5/5
I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of this property after my last couple of budget stays. The location was convenient and easy to reach. Parking was good. The staff member I dealt with on Saturday who took my phone call and checked me in was great. The man who checked me out on Sunday am was grouchy to the point of hostility. The only negatives in an otherwise excellent stay. I will book here again.
- 4/5
The front desk/check in and check out staff were great. The room could have used some maintenance and a bit better cleaning. There was some paper trash under the bed. We stayed in an large handicapped room, however, there was no place to set your toiletries in the bathroom. Some sort of shelving would have been very helpful especially by the bathroom sink for room for a waterpik or other bathroom appliances.
- 1/5
1st room had a weird smell (used to be smoking room??), ants climbing all over the wall, linoleum peeled clear off the sink counter, holes in the ceiling. Got moved into a room that appeared fine at first glance, no ants, at least. Moved all our stuff upstairs and settled in. Had a different weird smell, like faint mens cologne. Kept windows open all night. Discovered what appeared to be black pubic hair on the bathtub drain and found a long black hair in the bed. I wiped out the tub with the disinfectant wipe they provided for the tv remote. The linoleum on the sink counter was peeling, the door to the fridge cabinet was off the hinge a bit, the ac hadnt been wiped down and the bathroom door would get stuck when opening and closing, producing an awful noise. And there was an almond under the bed. I was too exhausted to complain and request a 3rd room change, so we made do. The only good thing I have to say is the water pressure for the shower (we wore water shoes lol) was incredibly strong. Provided a great laugh when my daughter turned on the shower and it knocked her in the head. Got the room for $132 through expedia, it was definitely overpriced by about $90.
- 5/5
They are renovating and updating the rooms. But nothing to crazy, I would recommend it to family and friends.
- 5/5
Love this place very safe wuiet and clean
- 5/5
Very perfect
- 5/5
The staff were very nice the 2 lady's that helped us were very patient and understanding.
- 5/5
Renovations were going on but was still quiet and kept clean.
- 5/5
Very clean and quiet spartan room. This no frills retro motel provides all you need for a great nights sleep. Staff are congenial and helpful. Note: toiletries are sparse and a minimal continental breakfast provided. If you sleep better having a more secure room, bring your travel door device. Priced right and bed is comfy.
- 4/5
Nothing fancy. Clean. Everything works. Toilet whines when flushed.
- 2/5
It’s supposed to be a non-smoking room but the bathroom smells strongly of cigarette smoke and there is no bathroom fan for ventilation. The bathroom door is also not hanging correctly on its hinges and needs to be pulled up to close it. There is an old musty smell throughout the rest of the room- it’s just very outdated. The tv doesn’t work.
- 4/5
Property is definitely on the older side. Staff was very nice. Room floors could be cleaned quite a bit better, but otherwise it was a decent place for the cost.

I usually stay in this area when traveling. The price was great for an overnight stay. Front desk gal was friendly and check in was essy. She gave me a room on the back side which was quiet.
- 2/5
The room was minimal which is ok. But it was gross. There was something on the ceiling and weird crusty grossness on the bathroom walls. All the bedding smelled gently like human sweat. Sadly I won’t be back. My prior stay was actually ok. But not now.
- 5/5
I have stayed here a few times now. Rooms are always clean, location is key, parking is great, beds are comfy, rooms are spacious. I recommend staying and I will be back.
- 3/5
Stale smoke smell and heater/air conditioner was very loud
- 5/5
Definitely not a fancy place but the plumbing work, electricity works, and beds are very comfortable. But if you want big fluffy firm pillows, I would recommend bringing your own.
- 5/5
Just as expected! Clean, covenient, and wrll priced for this short trip 🙂
- 4/5
The property is a hint older but it was clean and did the job for an overnight stay. Great location. I’ll be staying there again.
- 5/5

- 3/5
Location was close to freeway. The rooms were clean and comfortable beds.
- 5/5
Location is good
- 2/5
Floor in room above us was creaking so had difficulty sleeping mid-night/early morning. Room appeared to be clean but killed a couple of silver fish in bathroom. Description when choosing our room said breakfast included but not much of a selection.
- 1/5
There was a army of motorcycles. As one of the members was inquiring of if there was a available room the price told to him was 50 dollars less than what i paid. So i paid 1 and a half times to be around a motorcycle club. We were told that they housed vets in the hotel we were in. The whole experience was strange but colorful
- 5/5
Easily accessible
- 4/5
Staff was super friendly and room was comfortable. Facility is old and worn so I had an "oh no" moment when I opened the door, but honestly the room was more than adequate.
- 3/5
Concrete on steps to second floor was badly spalled, posing a tripping hazard. Needs to be replaced. Carpet stains in room were due to pets. Carpet had a residual odor, despite cleaning efforts. Hallway carpet was dingy.
- 2/5
Building is super old , very limited services , no hair dryer , noisy air condition , Breakfast includes pieces of muffin with cold coffee and banana . No room service ,No regular cleaning , In my option over priced for what they got to offer . Even the name of Aladdin is missing on the building .
- 5/5
First time staying here and no problems so far. Good customer service and they're attentive to the needs of the people staying there. We were just surprised at the breakfast offering but its not a big deal. Thank goodness that there is a breakfast place nearby. The hotel is accessible to groceries, transport, a mall and restaurants. We'll be booking again here soon whenever we're in Portland.
- 5/5
Hotel was fine. Hotel manager Brenda was very friendly and helpful. Gave us a quiet room.would stay here again.
- 4/5
Older but good hotel. The AC unit was probably too small for the room size, and it took about 12 hours to cool the whole room. Otherwise was a good hotel, would stay there again
- 4/5
The room was clean and we were comfortable. It was a good stay overall.
- 4/5
Everything was great.
- 4/5
One night stay
- 3/5
The doors need a secondary lock. And breakfast needs milk and juice available.
- 1/5
We arrived late and there was a note on the door that they were closed from 12-7am. “Sorry for the inconvenience”. We had to find another hotel.
- 3/5
Basic old hotel, nothing special. Very clean but odd smell in the room.
- 4/5
Location
- 5/5
Very clean and quiet. We put the sign for don’t change the sheets. I just wished the room and floor would have been cleaned and new towels left.
- 4/5
I didnt like the florescent lights.
- 5/5
Nice location and good staff
- 5/5
Super easy check in. Room is really clean and brand new white fluffy towels. Shampoo and soap. Comfortable bed with soft sheets.
- 5/5
Quite area easy to walk around
- 5/5
Lots of dining options in the area, if you have a car
- 5/5
Great place, excellent location, great coffee in the lobby, great area to go for a refreshing walk or jog!
- 4/5
Great location and comfortable beds
- 5/5
There were people loitering around outside and it was a little sketchy to park our ride
- 1/5
The pungent lingering cigarette smell coupled with the stains on the box springs were a turn off. We left and forfeited the payment.
- 2/5
Bathroom door was falling apart, surfaces in room didn't appear cleaned between customers.
- 2/5
I know it was cheap but it was not clean. Shower had hair in it. Bugs were coming out of the overflow drain of the sink.
- 5/5
Surprisingly wonderful! Exceeded expectations. The check-in process was pleasant. The room was clean and spacious. The staff were friendly and engaging!
- 1/5
Our room was so dirty and nasty when we got to it and when told the front desk person they said they would send housekeepers and take 20% off our stay and we paid a lot in which I think they should’ve had it cleaned top to bottom which when they did come in and “clean” it was just a lite mopping and no clean liens and no cleaning of the floor or table top or walls at that!! We were there for a medical appointment at OHSU For my 3 yr old daughter! I believe we should be refunded our money for our whole stay! Oh the towel that is black is from my children’s feet after 30-45 min of being there! I will be contacting the health department!
- 5/5
Was a quiet place to rest and really clean
- 2/5
The bathroom fan was broken and no good ventilation foe the rest of the room.
- 5/5
The room I’ve got for my family was very clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful as well!
- 3/5
Breakfast was not good
- 5/5
Pleasant stay at this property.
- 5/5
Very friendly, accommodating staff.
- 5/5
Nice and quiet. And clean 👌 😌
- 1/5
The floors were disgusting, I requested a king and got a double. The place was just gross. The coffee maker didn’t work. Construction woke me up at 4. Would NOT recommend. Not worth the $120. Charge should’ve been no more than $45. Spend the extra money and don’t stay here. YUCK!!!!
- 1/5
The room smelled badly. Only sheets no blanket. Turned the water on and there was a strong smell of sewage. The characters hanging out on the porches were out of a Quinten Tarintino movie-sketchy. Would never return there. Thank goodness I had bottled water for myself and my dog.
- 4/5
Our room was not the cleanest. It had stains in the carpet and there was a few ants in the bathroom. The wifi was very spotty as well. The location is ok. It is close to the highway and there are lots of coffee shops and restaurants nearby. However a car is needed to get to downtown.
- 1/5
First room was smelly and reeked of cigarettes despite being a non-smoking room. Was shown a second room on and it was no better. I asked for a refund and went elsewhere. Do not recommend especially for the cost. They shouldn't charge more than 70.00/night.
- 4/5
We just stayed overnight. It was clean and there was ample parking, with excellent service from the front desk. The name Suites was pretty misleading, however - we were expecting bigger rooms, but was explained that there was ONE room that could be classified as a suite. But the location was quiet, with easy parking, and the rooms were pretty clean if a little worn.
- 4/5
Location is good and central in Lake Oswego. Check in was easy and friendly, even if the motel office was a cluttered mess and the clerk looked exactly like Ace Ventura. Beds were clean (that's what mattered most) and the a/c worked. Carpet was stained and bathtub had been painted and was now chipped all over, as were light plug ins and light switches. We brought our own breakfast and so did not use the continental breakfast but I saw that it was some bananas and packets of microwave oatmeal. It was definitely nothing fancy, but it worked.
- 4/5
The room was clean and this was a great frills-free stay for our family. We essentially only came back to sleep. This was in a great location for everything we were doing and had convenient food options nearby.
- 2/5
Found old liquor bottle under mattress. I always check hotels for bed bugs. The sheets had hair on them. And my kids woke up to some screaming and it scared them. Front desk staff was nice!
- 3/5
bathroom need more privacy
- 3/5
Well located, but it needs an update on its rooms. Stained carpet, old tv.
- 3/5
Dated hotel and expected based on the low rate offered. I would rate as 2 star for overall hotel. Staff who checked us in was nice and friendly.
- 3/5
The breakfast was not so much, banana, muffins, yoghurt and oat meal only. Nothing to drink unless coffee Staff was friendly but would not stay again...
- 2/5
The room had a funky smell. A lot of stains on carpet & walls. Beds & pillows not comfortable. The AC unit was loud & barely kept riom cool but it was extremely hot day. Staff was friendly but would not stay again
- 4/5
Very outdated and carpets are dirty but overall was ok. Shower curtain was stained and blankets are very old and rundown. Very basic!
- 4/5
Excellent location. Great remodel. Comfy beds. Free ample parking. Not surrounding Portland homeless crisis so much safer than downtown. Everything was clean but the carpet was disgusting and stained.
- 5/5
Convenient. Affordable. Clean. Friendly staff.
- 5/5
This place exceeded our expectations. Very good competitive price, very nice customer service at the desk, clean sheets and room, but most importantly the room did not smell of toxic fragrances and cleaners. They use some kind of ultraviolet for part of their cleaning. I have a chemical sensitivity and am shocked more and more how many hotels use toxic cleaners and fragrances to cover up bad smells instead of actually cleaning the source of smells. The fragrances aren't healthy for us to breathe. Of note, the bathroom did have one spot of water damage near the bathtub that needs to be fixed so it doesn't become a mold problem. Overall would return here for the price, cleanliness and lack of toxic cleaners and fragrances used.
- 5/5
Staff friendly and helpful...beds and pillows comfortable....shopping nearby
- 3/5
Good service regarding the affordabe price.
- 3/5
The breakfast was not so much, banana, muffins, yoghurt and oat meal. Nothing to drink unless coffee
- 5/5
We stayed here because if it's proximity to OHSU and we're quite pleased. It's an older building, but very clean, quiet, and the neighborhood felt safe. I would absolutely stay here again.
- 4/5
$104 we had a clean, quiet room ten minutes from Aladdin Theater and downtown Portland stuff. Bed was comfy, pillows much much better than the gigantic rocks you get at nice hotels. It was super quiet and easy to park. Wish it was a little nicer looking in the room, lots of outdated stuff and colors and could use better carpet etc but overall clean. I wished there were more breakfast items.
- 5/5
Simple, clean, quiet, close to the highway and Lewis & Clark. Good place for the money.
