Location, large comfortable rooms. Key was very hard to turn.

Had the standard facilities in the room. Room was clean as per expectations. But while walking barefoot, the floor felt sticky. The room had all the appliances you would expect - Smart TV, mini fridge, microwave oven. The furniture were good. The bathroom was neat and clean. There was a small kids play area - swings and slides. Even had picnic tables and barbeques. The price was expensive for the location. This motel is located at Port Colborne, a small town. Also this motel was located on the highway out of town. So the price was expensive given these factors. The outdoor swimming pool was not usable, as it opens only in June.

Office didn’t open until 10 am on weekends. The building could use a refresh, ie paint, tidying in the hallway and the office.

Locations was great! Our door would not lock when we leave our room for the day at our Art workshop class. I had to give the owner our key to fix the door lock with all of our stuff inside. When we returned back after 4:30 pm . We had no key to enter our room. I went to the office in pouring rain and no one in office. I rang the door and knocked. No answer No Key. I went back to the car to wait call and then placed on hold then they try to get the owner of Port Motel and then shows up unlocks the door leaving key in door lock! We get out go and rest then leave for dinner and again the door lock does not Work! We had to meet our teacher at 6 pm and now door will not lock! We had to leave for dinner so we Turned on TV sound on high and light on when we left room unlocked with blinds closed! Back 9 pm door not locked and everything still in the room. Thank God! Walk in the room with white socks and they were black on my souls of my socks! Not A Good Experience or good recondition! 2 out of 10!

Nothing. It was all good, for the price point. If you want the Hilton, then go spend 400 bucks. But don't complain when your much more affordable room doesn't compare. It is what it is.

It was very convenient as we were attending a function at friends very near there. While the room was very clean it is in need of updating. It also would’ve nice to have 2 comfortable chairs to sit in I also need a bath stool for times when we stay longer and I want to shower as I’m handicapped and cannot remain on my feet in the shower.

The bethroom wasnt rrally cleaned where you put your soap it was nasty the tube could use a scrubbing the toilet was uneven and lose no heat in the bathroom made it cold no cover on the windows so people could see you shower the onwer wasn't friendly at all i showered up he grabbed my id and that was it wont go back

Not much however the room was clean. The general appearance of the property. The office could sure use a spruce up. The TV operation was a mystery and had poor channel choices.

The location was excellent for our purposes. The room was very basic and relatively clean. The exhaust fan in the bathroom was not working nor was there a cover over the fan on the ceiling. The heat lamp in the bathroom was not working. The shower installation could have been cleaner or they could possibly upgrade the caulking.

Perfectly adequate stay with good value for cost.

They advertised a pool and there wasn't one.The pool was the reason I chose this place . Person checking me in completed ignored by inquiry. Got no room service or clean towels in 3 day stay even though they said the would bring us clean ones on second day .

Needed a reasonably priced, pet-friendly place during a baseball tournament. Port Motel met our expectations.

Nothing!! Upon check in and going to the room, it was clear this was not a safe place for a family to stay. We did not end up staying. The rooms were disgusting and smelled of mold and dirt. We were informed by someone that appeared to be living there that it was not a place for families. That people that stay there drink in the common areas and get yelling and fighting.

Other than that it was a place to lay our heads which was comfortable and the staff amazing to talk to. Would I stay here again…yes if it is only me but as for family or a couple it all depends what room they assign to you.

Great AC. Mostly clean. Towels and toilet paper could be thicker. Staff were brisque but mostly cordial. Convenient for a visit to Port Colbourne. Would def return.

I didn’t like anything. It was filthy dirty. The towels were so thin and a grey colour. The little tiny bar of soap was way too small and the toilet paper way too thin. Bathtub was dangerously slippery and no grab handles.

The owner at the motel said no he was not giving me the room I booked online and hung up the phone was very rude, I did not know that he still accepted the booking and took my money, when I did not even stay there at all.

The staff of reception was unpolite. In general the bathroom is rust and dirty. the TV without Netflex as mention. Pet friendly with extra amount 28CAD. not mention before.

Always a great place to stay. Rakeesh is welcoming and easy to do business with and always willing to help. Rooms are always clean and well kept. 5 stars all around

Quiet, affordable and comfortable for the type of lodging.

Due to flooding in Montreal Que. we had to return home and the owner REFUSED to give us a refund for 1 night. It was necessary to leave and he would not even listen. Will NEVER stay there again and will advise others.

Very clean and the owner was very friendly. It is located just on the edge of town, so nice an quiet.

The location is very good for going to flatwater international center, and with a couple of minutes driving we can reach everything we need.

It served its purpose … a decent and affordable place to crash for the night.

Great place to stay.

There’s an outdoor pool, a lounging area , gazebos for shade and a small, simple playground. As a bonus there are two gas barbecues for the guests to use. Live tv options plus included Netflix was available to watch. This wasn’t a leisure trip (funeral) but the room was comfortable. I hold consider staying here again in the future.

Cons. Slightly lack of bathroom needs

Room smelled musty, door was hard to open, no locks on window in bathroom. At check in there was no information shared and it smelled very bad in the office. Pool area was closed. "Shampoo" was more like hand soap refilled into little shampoo bottles. Had to find the cord for the tv as it wasn't plugged in and it seemed very unsafe as there where multiple items plugged into an extension cord that didn't have a ground on it. The carpet was damp in the room. Very outdated and multiple areas where it looks like there was been water damage. Mirrors are so old they have marks through it.

This property was convenient for our needs We had to be in Port Colborne to meet with family and close our parents estate

i liked the property becuase its isolated from city.

Room is so small and dirty even i can't explain. I wish i could give zero star. Oh my god bedsheets are terrible too much dirty and stained. Washroom is so small and hairs everywhere. I really regret why i choose this motel for stay. Thank god i choose this room only for one night. My overall experience is terrible.

Everything was good

Stayed for 3 nights and not once did someone come to change our towels. It was noisy and there were dead flies on the window sills.

I understood from the beginning that this is an economy Hotel. However, as soon as I commented that the heating system was not working as I expected, they immediately changed my room to one were everything worked just fine. The staff was friendly.

The room was full of mold, you could smell it before you even got in the rokm. They switched us rooms to a room full of blood splattered walls that smelt heavily of bleach

I imagine it'll be cold with the gaps in the door seal from the amount of morning daylight coming through the bottom and side of the door jamb. Limited outlets and internet, the pool looks good from a far.

Smallish and basic room for the price, but very clean, working fridge, great shower pressure, no complaints

The unit was birty the blanket had hair on it and makeup carpet was vacuumed

We enjoyed our stay, the room was updated and clean, we were close to shopping and restaurants which made this location great!

Toilet not flushing or after 3-4 time's if you are lucky. TV sucks, hardly any channels, option of suing Rokku remote but not working. You need to set an account??? Might as well not habe any TV. Cobwebs in corners of room. Bathtub drain awful.

I was impressed with the renovations. Everything looks new and clean. Nice layout, not like most typical motels.

Noise 5 morning

Bed covers full of pet hair. Room was descent.

What I did not like was the room itself was small for 2 people and 2 queen beds. No heat in the bathroom. Room was not very clean as my dog found an empty dog food can under my bed. Didn't appear that they had cleaned under the beds in a long time.

The bathroom was not very clean and outdated. The pillows were lumpy and the towels were thin.

We have stayed here multiple times and it is great value for the money. This past stay, however, the cleaning job wasn't as good as usual (garbage left in room, duvet had a weird smell), but otherwise there have never been any issues. The management is very nice to our kids.

Great value for the money, especially for families. The renovated rooms are very nice; the pool in the summer is great! The complimentary snack basket is a nice touch. We stay here multiple times a year and enjoy it every time.

Check-in was easy and the Owner/Operator was very nice. The room was not in very good condition. But it was very economical.

The floors were grungy not clean I felt like itches in the bed, damp even the clothes in my suitcase felt damp even with air conditioning on

1st room was not too bad but then the air conditioner didn't work so we got to put in another room that one was quite dirty.

Disappointing stay. Check in was not smooth. No pool and room was not as advertised. Front desk person was not friendly. Did not seem to know what rooms were and were not available. Will not be returning.

Because I travel with my tiny dog, I always get the worst rooms so I never give negative reviews. But this was beyond any other experience. Soap scum in shower, rude service at desk and at check out the key was just grabbed from my hand by a man wearing headphones, that did not even give me opportunity to speak to him. There was an ongoing fight in the hall from 2:00 am that continued off and on until 4:30 am. I was frightened, and then the next day I found bed bug bites. They were made aware, no refund from them or Expedia who I booked through. The worst accommodations experience I have ever had. Extremely disappointed with both the motel and Expedia’s response.

The inside rooms had no wifi. The room was not made up during the stay

The beds were good, the dressers, small refrigerator & microwave appeared good although we did not use them. The WiFi notice at the front desk said no WiFi password was required. Two calls to front desk - no answer. Found owner next day and password was required which he entered on my phone. Could not figure out how to use the TV since it used ROKU - there did not appear to be any standard TV channels available & no instructions on use of TV. The bathroom was a disaster. The door would not close due to swelling - showed problem to owner, he said he would fix it, was not fixed. There are no blinds on the bathroom window, although the lower portion is frosted glass. The bathroom window sills have not been painted for years. The shower curtain rod is heavily rusted. The baseboards are filthy, have lots of water stains, and have not been painted for many years. I walked around in the room in barefeet and when I got into the wet bathtub, there were black marks from my feet indicating that the floors were filthy. Will not return to this hotel.

The motel is great value for the money; it is clean and comfortable, but not posh. We stayed at another time in the summer and the outdoor pool is fabulous. The only suggestion I would make is to have the check-in office better attended or maybe get a louder bell to get the staff's attention from wherever else they are.

Room was filthy. Beat up. Banging doors all night. Dog barking. Manager told guest. Why allow big dogs in motel ? Still Barked off and on all night. Horrible place. Rough looking guest. Manager stated was aware of our punched broken bathroom door. Crazy people, he said…

The place need some small repairs and need to pay more attention to cleaning everything in more details rather than just quick swiping! Staff are nice and helpfull.

When we arrived the cleaning supplies were sitting in our room with a used coffee cup. Also had to ring a bell to check in. Waited for a few minutes and when staff arrived looked like they just woke up! First experience with Hotels.com, not impressed!,

The quality of water is terrible

Place is old and pull is crack but for the price you pay there is not complaints, on the other side place is quite, close to the town and the guys are friendly. I will go again.

Towels were tiny and worn out and not enough for everyone. Wifi didn’t work. Fire alarm going off and we were not informed of what to do and when it was safe to return to our rooms. I like the new flooring instead of the old carpet

For what we paid is what we got, clean and big to old far. But no Complain the day where beautiful and the spirit great!

It wasn't exactly the cleanest but i wasn't expecting too much from a motel. Overall decent stay

I wasn't expecting much for $45 a night, but i was pleasantly surprised when I got into the room. It was quite nice. Usual crapy shower head, toilet rocked on the floor and took 10 mins to get hot water. I would stay there again.

Our stay was Ok. The motel does need a renovation, but the room was clean and the price was reasonable.

Port motel is worst place I seen in my hall life, I don’t want to come again. Washroom was horrible and flush don’t work at all. I never recommend my friends and family this motel.
