Seaside Boutique Hotel

when we arrived check in was a *breeze*. the room was ready and cold, it was perfect! the staff has exceptional customer service. The beach is a couple steps away. This is my getaway stay from now on. I love this place!

The bathroom was not clean, the floor was dirty, there was dust covering the vent, the walls were stained, dust covered every corner in the bathroom

We couldn’t even stay here bc of the scum in the rooms and the amount of chemicals they used.

Our stay started with a self-check-in because no staff were available when we arrived. The first room was acceptable, but there was visible rust in several areas and the room felt damp. After showering, we discovered there was no shampoo or body wash provided, and shortly afterward the bathroom lights stopped working. Thankfully, the property manager was very responsive and offered immediate assistance as well as an upgraded room. Her willingness to help is the main reason I am giving the staff a higher rating. The upgraded room was larger but lacked basic conveniences, such as console tables in the master bedroom and additional mirrors for guests getting ready. Housekeeping was also disappointing. Rather than cleaning the room, staff only removed trash and replaced towels. During our stay, we also encountered roaches, which raised concerns about overall cleanliness. The biggest disappointment was the third-floor balcony. While we were excited about the ocean view, the area contained broken seating, boarded-up sections, and no comfortable place to sit and enjoy the scenery. The surrounding view also showed visible trash and neglect. Overall, the staff tried their best and were courteous and accommodating, but the property itself needs substantial maintenance, better housekeeping, and more attention to guest comfort.

Our first time to Port A and we couldn’t be happier with the property! It is truly walking distance to the beach, and the front desk receptionist was so nice and helpful! We will definitely be back!

The staff were super friendly, the rooms were clean and AC worked great. And it has great convenient location to the beach at Mile marker 6 access point, where they have open showers for cleanup.

The room was just as I expected, but the views were not. The pictures are misleading. I think only two rooms have a beach view. Also they had too many Really bright lights all around the property. Maybe change to a lower wattage.

The furniture and decor were lacking however it was exceptionally clean and beach access is immediate. The staff was really helpful.

Our stay was wonderful! We were steps from the beach! The room was clean and simple. The only down side was that there was no place in the shower to put your soap and shampoo, had to put it on the floor. We did have parking right outside our door which was very nice. Would definitely stay here again. The price was very good.

On the booking site, it said , PAY AT PROPERTY at check in.... When I went to check in and pay, I was told that my credit card couldn't be processed.. Why are they trying to run my credit card if I hadn't even checked in? Now if I had gone in, in person and my card couldn't be processed, then I would understand it being canceled.. I booked this room in January and had the funds to pay at check in.. I asked if there was a way to pay for the room at the time but my room was already taken.. It would have been nice to get a phone call or email stating the issues and I got nothing.. My family of 6 had to find another place to stay for the night.. Never would I want to book or never would I recommend this place..

All soap and conditioner and body wash bottles were empty. Kitchen could use a few more cooking utensils. We will stay again.

This hotel was very close to the beach. Within walking distance . This was our main concern as parents with two toddlers (3 and 2). We did not want sand in our vehicle so a property with beach access was a MUST. The room was as clean as it could’ve been for a beach hotel. I feel the floors were a tinsy bit dirty (sandy) but understandable for being a beach hotel . Everything else , sheets, bathroom, towels, were clean and maintained . Staff was AMAZING. Very accommodating and sweet women. We will stay here again !

No direction to find the office but a tiny sign in a corner. I got there they said no room was booked I showed them my confirmation and she said oh yeah I tried to charge your card then canceled your room bc it didn’t go through. Well reason it didn’t go through is because I was planning to pay cash as I always do plus not once have I ever been charged before I even check in let alone no communication from anyone at all. So she canceled our room didn’t try to compensate even another room with money in hand. She was very rude Hispanic old lady and blamed Expedia for everything. Family vacation with kids and no room available on the island and no communication that they canceled. The property is nasty dirty so I can’t imagine the over priced rooms conditions along with the disrespect from their staff member. Also she keeps the phone off the hook so no one can call.

So far it was ok, the cleaning girl was there but only left clean towels which I’m glad but the bed wasn’t made and the trash wasn’t taken out from the restroom , overall I think it could have been better cleaned, they should think about exterminating the building because there was small spiders in the room, other then that it’s a good location and mins from the beach.

The room was very clean, but the sink was clogged maintenance did come by to try to unclog it but it ended up clogged again. The shower faucet were the opposite of each other, the cold side was the hot and cold side was the hot. The staff was a 10 all the way the AC was perfect and the views were amazing. We enjoyed our stay and will be happy to stay there again. All I ask is to let ppl know about the shower issues before they check in. Thank you so much.

I am told our toilet seat was replaced but that was our main comment. That the toilet seat was not the right shape for the toilet...someone put it on, knowing that it was the wrong shape and we dealt with it until questioned with review.....otherwise all was well. We did not expect a kitchenette but it was nice to have a full size refrig. The location was the best. We LOVED that it was a short walk to the beach. My husband thought the air conditioning should have been colder but it was fine for me. We had very little interaction with the staff but what we did, they were nice. Hated to leave.

The AC in our bedroom didn’t work. We asked to get it fixed and it never did.

We arrived at 9:45 PM and had to call the after hours number to get into our room. When we got to the room it was fairly clean but the floor was very Sandy. I know it was close to the beach but seriously run a vacuum or dust mop to clean it for the next people. But the real problem was after a very long day driving, we go into the bathroom and there is no toilet paper. Not even an empty roll on the holder. Thankfully we found some paper towels. Then the toilet wouldn’t flush so my sister had to fix that. We called the number again and they never called us back. We checked out the next morning because the storms coming. And when I went to check out the lady at the desk seemed nice enough but never even apologized for inconveniences. I asked about a refund for the two days we were staying and she said she would ask and call me back. But once again I never received a call from them. If we go back to Port Aransas, we won’t stay there.

We enjoyed our time here it was quiet, comfortable, friendly and attentive staff and it has a nice beach view. We did find a pair of socks in the restroom, but other than that it was a good place to sleep.

The beds were so dirty we left after killing 3 bugs on the bed and decided to drive home over staying here. Terrible experience would recommend to no one.

This hotel is a little gem! And just a short walk from the beach. We were in the Family suite, which was newly renovated. With two bedrooms, two bathrooms, kitchen & living room, we had a very comfortable roomy stay. The 3 ac units and the built in de-humidifier kept the rooms wonderfully cool. Comfy beds & linens. This was our third time staying here. Will definitely come back!

Two things I’d recommend. The shower needs a shelf for soap, razors, etc. My biggest gripe though is the Wi-Fi. They really need to improve it. In 2026, there’s no excuse for anything other than high-speed internet at a hotel.

If your looking for nice place literally on the beach. This is the place! Very clean motel. I do have one complaint and it’s the couches or rather fold out beds. They were uncomfortable to sit on. The view is beautiful and the beach is just steps away.

Ive stayed many times in Port Aransas and the almost 400$ paid for ONE night I find ridiculously high considering how dated the property and rooms are. Will not be staying again.

Perfect stay within walking distance to the beach. Roomy, spacious, comfortable bed, kitchen was a bonus, a/c worked great. If you book a suite, the Sleeper sofas were terribly uncomfortable so I’d bring your own bedding, pillows, etc. for those.

Family suite was spacious. We only booked for 1 night but everything was clean and ac was cold. Plus no bugs!!

No wi-fi for over a day! They did offer us an additional night free. Room had sat for awhile, not cleaned regularly. There was a gritty substance on the bathroom vanity top, which washed off with a wet wipe. The floor was tiled and sand was found in the grout lines. Otherwise room was clean, bed linens appeared to be clean, sink, shower and toilet were clean. We did have to manually empty the dehumidifier as it was not set up to drain automatically. Coffee choices were all decaf, I need my caffeine! I was able to get some from the office. A/C fan was making a strange noise that kept us up the first night. The second night we were too tired to care. Refrigerator worked fine. I thought there was a microwave in every room, which there wasn't. The ice machine located around the corner had lovely crunchy soft ice and there was a microwave in the room too. I do need to add that the hotel is located just off the beach, easily within walking distance. That was really nice!!!

When my door key card quit working, staff blamed me and acted annoyed. Bugs in room. Good place if you're looking for a cheap, poorly run beachside motel.

We were on the ground floor facing the road so we couldn't see the beach unless we walked out the door. The beach was a very short walk from the property. The room was really nice but didn't have an in room microwave, there was one in the office which is only open 8-8. Also the mini-fridge didn't have a freezer, which sucked for us because we usually refreeze our cooler freezer packs. All in all though, I would highly recommend this place. And we loved the layed back feel of Port Aransas.

The location was great.the dehumidifier was also great Bed 1202 nearest the bathroom, I believe was to be broken, it was crowned, It was a beach hotel so I expected sand to be there but it lacked cleanliness. I was able to request a crib, was given a pack and play for a child. Which mine will absolutely climb out of

This is our new home away from home, vacation spot. Last year was my husband and I's first stay, came back this year. Went in as a customer, came out feeling like family. Location is literally footsteps from the beach. Excited to see the new renovations. Most definitely coming back. Now our kids want to come this summer and make this our yearly family summer vacation. No complaints

I always stay here with my family. Its clean and comfortable. Its right on the beach which is great for my teenagers with quick access to the beach. The staff is kind and will help with anything you need. I always give them a thumbs up for quick weekend trips to the coast.

Unfortunately, the second room still had roaches. We only stayed because it was after 12:40 AM and there were no reasonable alternatives at that hour. While I appreciate that the staff was kind and attempted to accommodate us, the overall experience did not meet basic cleanliness standards. The hotel later stated that we were satisfied with the second room, which is not accurate we were just appreciative of their kindness of moving us initially.

Breakfast room being remodeled and was closed. This was not disclosed in the property condition. Some breakfast items were available in the very small office for carry-out. Pillows are horrible

Water pressure at shower too low

I believe they still have a long way to go to cultivate a truly great atmosphere; I would say the overall guest experience could be significantly improved. Management needs to capitalize on the hotel's proximity to the beach and truly commit to fulfilling the "Boutique Hotel" concept—offering a design and experience that is unique to its guests. I would suggest they make the most of the lobby's architecture, upgrade the swimming pool area, and create more lounge-style amenities for guests—such as a fire pit area open until 11:00 PM (which would be particularly welcome given the cold, windy nights in this region), or a *churuata* (thatched pavilion) equipped with grills for spending quality time together—a place to simply sit back and socialize. They should also install lighting along the path leading to the beach, and—why not?—even set up a proper bar with full service. The property has a great deal of potential.

Great location, great price, very clean, great amenities, I'll definitely be staying here again. The staff was top notch, as well.

The staff were great and were trying to make it the best they could with the tools they had. Several throw pillows had holes and branded bed runner were slightly stained so we put those out of reach from our kids. Used the provided wall mounted hairdryer and it blew the breaker in our room. The laundry bag looked like it was emptied and left to hang to be reused. They used to have a good hot breakfast but this round it was a grab and go in their currently reduced size under construction main office. Overall condition of room and building made it apparent the owners are coasting with increased prices while they build additions to the complex and remodel the office. Our first time staying 2 years ago was great and we really hope when they get through this phase, it will be as great as it once was or better.

The check in clerk was very helpful and qas able to accommodate us to a room for disabled at check in. Room was clean. Ac worked well. The obly complaint i have us that we left a do not disturb sign on door when we left to the beach. We had some expensive things we didnt want.people to go.thru and come up missing(its happpened before). They came in anyway and cleaned thankfully nothing came up missing. The "breakfast" was the check in office with creal bars and plain bagels in a ziplock bag with nothing to add on them. THAT WAS ALL THEY OFFERED.!

location was fabulous just right at the beach walking distance you can't see the beach from at least the first floor I don't believe there's any amenities but it is a clean updated hotel we had a problem with the humidifier in our room but that's not a big deal our only issues we had a couple next door that were fighting quite loudly in the middle of the night and I can't put that on the hotel.

It’s so close to the beach! They have beach towels and boogie boards. They had free muffins for breakfast. The room was just what we needed, clean room, comfortable beds and hot shower. The staff was so friendly and helpful. We will be back!

This was a great hotel. I loved that you can just walk out the door and walk a few steps and be at the beach. The only small complaint was the parking. It's a little cramped.

It’s small but right on the beach, walking distance to restaurants near by. The photos shown on the website make the rooms look larger, but it worked for us. I wasn’t a fan of the glass barn door on the bathroom, it didn’t close all the way leaving about a 2-3 inch gap opening and it didn’t lock. It did have a pool but parking around the building was tight.

The location was perfect. Just steps from the beach and a tiny drive to shops and restaurants. Beds were comfortable and I had a clean room. The shower probably needs an update.

Nice staff. Clean looking. Breakfast snacks only - I think because of unknown construction occurring. No bedding for the sofa beds. Sofa bed mattress feels almost like a bed of nails since all we felt was the springs. We got bedding for sofa beds the next night. No paper towels. For spring break teens it worked well, but for a family you may want to be prepared to compensate for these issues, especially the bad sofa bed mattress.

If you’re going to market a family suite with kitchen that sleeps 6, it should have drinking glasses, silverware, plates, and basic cooking utensils. Pots and skillets were badly damaged, burners were uneven, there were 3 plastic cups, 2 plates, zero pans, no dish soap, no paper towels. Absurd pricing to go so blatantly cheap on basic needs if you’re going to advertise a kitchen.

Absolutely loved the location. Didn’t have to drive my vehicle on the sand to the beach since it’s walking distance. It was just a tad humid in the bedroom. But living area and kitchen were great due to the dehumidifier.

The kitchen light was not working even they promised it would be fixed by the second day we were there. There was a water leak coming from the room upstairs in the bathroom. The staff came quickly to dry it and the manager told us she could not refund us because it was book through a third party but said she would give us a couple of free nights for our next stay, to go see her in the morning, but we check out and there was no mentioned of it. The coffee machine did not work, no cutting knife either. In all, not a very good experience.

Decent size room but the building and furnitures are obviously outdated. Yes, they did paint the suite but I think.it was just to hide the age of the building. We saw few cockroaches in the room. But surprisingly, the room did not smell bad. When I booked thru expedia, it says the room is situated in the first floor but to our surprise when we checked in, we are assigned to a third floor room, and there is no elevator. So, if your group is composed of elderly and or you have a lot of stuffs to unload/load-make sure to call ahead of time or else it will be a struggle. When we checked in the room, there were only 3 pillows(2normal size and a tiny one), despite the fact that we booked for 2 adults and 2 13 yr old. We did asked for 3 more, and they gave it to us though-but it is supposedly in place without the need to ask for more. The bathroom is very tiny for an american standard hotel or inn. I can't even put the rest of our toiletries due to no space in the counter sink. There was no toilet paper holder and we have to find a place for the whole roll not to get wet beside the sink. The main door lock doesn't look safe at all.The parking is free but very tight, especially for us who is driving a truck. Good thing is, most of the staff are approachable and friendly. Overall, I think for the price-it is not worth it. Well, what you are paying mainly is not the hotel itself but the location- it's closeness to the beach. I might have to look and try somewhere else in the future

Seaside is an accurate name, as the beach begins there. My room had all the amenities needed. Plenty of large towels, the fridge worked well. Beds were comfortable and pillows plush. The front desk was helpful and responsive. Excellent value.

How close I was to the beach. The sofa beds had thin mattresses and the bedroom had no dresser to put your clothes in.

Hotel is walking distance to the beach, which is excellent! The hotel was clean and the front desk clerk was friendly upon check-in. The two queen room first floor had a mini fridge, also a plus. The only con I have is that the parking lot is small and one way. We ran into an issue where a truck was parked at the end but not all the way in so us others in trucks ran the risk of hitting it if we tried to go through it, so we had to drive reverse all the way back and try to get out of the hotel parking lot that way. That sucked but that truck did not move for 2 days! Everything was great but they do need more parking lot room! I would recommend and go back

Room was nice and the staff were GREAT! The issue with the room was the absence of chairs and there were some concerns with how the bathroom door was designed. The door was not lockable or at least the toilet was not separated from the rest of the bathroom.

Nice staff and very clean room stocked with dishes, silverware, towels and even spare sheets and blankets were ready on each sofa bed when we walked in which was really great ! Steps away from beach and no sandy feet in car, plus no need for a beach permit. Beautiful sunsets and sunrise. As the hotel is being renovated on one side there are no pets allowed per safety issues. Looking forward to bringing our fur baby along sometime in the future.

However, we were a bit surprised when we entered the room. In many of the photos online the couches appear to be blue upholstered sofas, but what we found were futons with noticeable wear and tear. They weren’t very comfortable for relaxing, so we ended up spending most of our downtime in the bedroom after being out at the beach. The kitchen setup was also quite limited. There was only one coffee cup and very minimal cookware, utensils, or basics like salt and pepper. Travelers may want to plan on bringing a few essentials. We’ve been visiting the island for over 15 years and have stayed in many different places, so perhaps our expectations were simply based on past experiences. As someone who currently works in the travel industry, I’m often asked for recommendations on where to stay when people visit, and I had hoped this property might become one of those suggestions. That said, we truly did have a wonderful time celebrating our 15th anniversary. With a few updates to the furnishings and a more accurate description of the accommodations, this place could be fantastic. We’d be open to giving it another try in the future.

Although the pictures show lots of ocean views from the rooms, we were given a room at the back and the bottom of the hotel. No view, no balconey. I learned a lesson about contacting the hotel about what room you get.

Clean room, we had trouble with our cold water in Shower & they were so nice to let in a have a different room to shower in right next door. Welcomed from the beginning. I love the humidifier in the room, our towels dried !!

We stayed in the family suite, it was really nice! Lots of space. It did look like they forgot to change the sheets on one of the twin beds but we got it figured out. Great location! There was some water damage here and there but they’re literally right on the beach so I’m sure they get tons of humidity. They had a dehumidifier in the room.

SOAP & SHAMPOO. AND ALSO SOME KIND OF HANDLES. OUR CAR GOT DIRTY, SOMEONE WAS HOSEING THE SIDEWALK BY OUR ROOM AND OUR CAR GOT DIRTY FROM THEM SPRAYING.

We enjoyed how close this property is to the beach. It was super convenient to be able to come and go, especially with small kids. To my suprise they had a grab and go area for breakfast, which was nice. The staff was very friendly.

Pros: The comforter was cozy and the air conditioning worked well, which made the room comfortable. Towels were provided and in good condition, and shampoo and conditioner were available. The staff was kind and even asked if we wanted room service, which was appreciated. The location is a plus, as it’s close to the beach. Cons: The room lacked a microwave, which was inconvenient. The beds were small, and there was no table. The TV did not have cable, and there were not enough electrical outlets near the bed. Parking was also an issue. The room could have benefited from a broom or better cleaning tools. Great location and friendly staff, but the lack of basic amenities made the stay less comfortable than expected.

Would of been nice to have a microwave in room, also no bathroom cups to brush your teeth, toilet paper didnt even have a holder, nor was there a soap dish or shelf in the shower to put soap or shampoo on. Complimentary body wash bottle was only 1/3 full, apparently had been used by former guests. Wont be back.

I booked this room with Seaside because of the reviews, but I’m thinking those are false generated reviews based on my experience. No sooner than we put our bags down and sat down on the bed looked up, saw 2 to 3 roaches climbing on the wall. The toilet paper is one ply the air conditioner made loud noises throughout the night, but other than it was quiet and peaceful, and very close to the beach.

Everything about this place is great . The only problem we had were the sheets and pillowcases on one of the beds we discolored or stained.

We loved our stay! The location couldn’t be better, right at the beach access and just a short walk from restaurants and shops in town. The staff was incredibly kind and welcoming, truly going above and beyond to make sure we had a great visit. Our room was spotless, comfortable, and even had a full kitchen, which was a pleasant surprise. We’ll definitely be back!

The water smells very strongly like sulphur, a normal occurrence in Port Aransas, and it’s ok for showers but I suggest buying drinking water. The beach view is only seen from the third floor common balcony, so it’s not really important which room you book. There is no elevator, only stairs, so if you have mobility issues make sure you book a first floor room. Nancy, the hotel manager, was really nice and suggested us few great restaurants to try in the area. We love this hotel because it’s located in a quiet area and accessible to the beach, we can’t wait to be back for another relaxing getaway weekend.

I was very disappointed with this property. The property gave us a room with No A/C just one box fan, in the middle of the summer. We asked for another room and the staff said they were completely booked out. So had no other choice but to tough it out for the night. The second day we asked for another a portable A/C unit and was given another fan. By the evening we couldn’t take the heat anymore and asked for out money back. The staff finally gave us a different room but that wasnt until 7pm. The experience was very disappointing.

First, let me say that the staff was very friendly and helpful. Second, let me say that the term "boutique" is laughable and it was a recurring joke while we were there. This is a fairly old hotel that was obviously previously a budget option that they have put some cheap upgrades on. I guess it is still a work in progress, but it is not fancy or luxurious by any means. The kitchen was nice enough, but only had the very bare necessities. For example, there was no salt or pepper and I had to try to chop up an onion with a table knife. The only seating in the living room was two very cheap and uncomfortable fold out couches. There was no coffee table or side tables to set anything on. There were no toilet paper holders and only 1 ply toilet paper. I know, that is a very minor thing, but i mention it because it is something my partner and I both noticed and commented on that kind of gives you an idea of the quality. Also, the metal frame around our outside door was heavily encrusted with rust. On the positive side, it is very conveniently located to the beach, only a couple of minutes walk to the water. We stayed on a busy weekend, which I believe inflated the price. We paid $250 per night and I would say it's worth $150. There are better options but we booked last minute.

The best thing about the property was that it was a short walk to the beach, with a lifeguard stand right there. I wasn't aware that there was a breakfast option until we arrived, but it was a nice little bonus. Nothing fancy, just coffee, juice, cereal, yogurt. The staff was very pleasant and helpful when we needed it. Price was nice. People have complained of the ongoing construction, and it's still ongoing, with no obvious progress going on while we were there. It was no bother to us. Room was small but adequate. In-room fridge was a nice bonus. We'll stay here again if we ever end up in the area.

Great little hotel just steps from the beach. Beds and pillows were comfortable. Only issue is outside lights are so bright that it lights up the room at night which affected our sleep.

I love the location of this hotel. It is right on the beach, and there is a decently priced restaurant that is walkable or has beach parking on Beach Rd. The room was clean except for the floors. They were filthy. Told the front desk when checking out and they said the room was scheduled for a "deep clean" . I have stayed here before on the second floor and did not have this experience.

First time i stayed here in 2024, was very nice so when i decided to book again in 2025 i got an upgraded room but it was a nightmare. The front desk was hardly up front, the room was dirty i put a towel on the floor after showering and the towel was black from how dirty the floor was. there was no extra sheets for the pull out beds, no shampoo, soap nothing. then when i tried to bring it to the attention of the front desk, my daughter who is 13 caught the receptionist rolling her eyes when brought up. the ceiling fan wasn't working either and there was exposed electrical wires in the restroom. a whole mess.

This hotel is right beside the entrance to the beach. The beach is right at your feet pretty much. We enjoyed our stay and hope to go back sometime soon. The staff were helpful and had all the information to all our questions. The staff does not stay over night they leave around 10-11pm. We got the hotel for a really nice rate.

We had to leave The Tarpon Inn due to the noise level of the music venue next to them. The people here were so kind and accommodating. The property manager even helped carry a couple of suitcases up the stairs. They are working really hard to improve the property even more. A great budget friendly place with good view of the water from the end balcony. Very quiet and peace.

Stay was awesome! The staff was very helpful and friendly! A bit of construction happening but they are expanding so it’s understandable. There was a continental breakfast even though it wasn’t listed! Only downside was the parking in front of the rooms was a very tight fit if trucks parked there. The parking places were not very long.

The room was not very clean upon checking in. The sheets felt damp and there were numerous areas of the room that did not look clean. The bathroom had mold in a few places and the electric plugs were not attached to the wall. The room had a moldy smell to it. The front desk staff was very friendly though and allowed us to check in early.

This was an amazing location to stay at. I wish we were staying more than an overnighter. But I will definitely be staying here any time I am in Port A. Great staff - All of them.

There is no elevator

The shower water smelt like rotten eggs the first day we were there and filled the whole room up with the smell. It seems to go away the next day. The room seems bare and muggy.

I loved the staff, location, and its under remodeling but it was moldy and the price was too expensive for the remodeling. Thr breakfast was a limited continental but no big deal.

Perfect spot if you want to be near the beach. Rooms were okay, sadly the dinning area is still in construction, so the breakfast was just to go to the front office, grab what you want to eat ang go to the room. The options: some muffins, apple juice, cereal and bagels. More than that, we hope we can go back soon.

The sleeper couches were not what was pictured. There wasn’t any bedding for the 2 sleeper couches. When asked, only sheets were provided. We had to go out and purchase blankets and pillows for the kids to sleep because the office was closed by the time we were back at the room. Every sheet, pillow case, etc. had stains. There was an awful stinch in the bathroom the next morning. Parking was limited and tight. Towels were limited and stained as well. Per the photos and description, the stay did not meet expectation. The staff was nice and communicative until the office closed.

We were sold a lie plain and simple. I paid for a presidential suite ($704.94 USD) and what I got was a motel 6 on the beach at best so that’s why I gave it 2 stars. The only thing accurate about this listing was it was next to the beach as promised. The listing I saw showed 2 massive windows in the bedroom overlooking the beach, all we saw was the parking lot and more rental properties. There was stains all over the walls and on the sheets , there is a massive water bubble over the toilet on the wall in the bathroom, it was so tight in the hallway I had to sidestep with my luggage just to get into the room, there were 2 pullout couches in the living room for my in laws and my mother to sleep on so that was nice atleast they weren’t on the floor which was disgusting as well, almost like they haven’t cleaned in a while but we were next to the beach so I get it.

Loved that it was on the beach and it had a pool, the staff was very nice and welcoming and it came with a kitchen.Great for a two day trip. My only concern was the cleanliness of the bathroom. There was an old dirty towel stuck to the shower curtain rod and some dark spots? On the ceilings but overall the kitchen and bedroom were in great condition. My family and I will be staying here again.

I booked the family suite and it looked NOTHING like the pictures. The suite is supposed to have 1 king bed, 2 sofa bed, and then 2 twin beds. First let's start with the cleanliness. This motel was disgusting, we arrived late at night after the office was closed so I couldn't even request new linens right away. Every single sheet, linen, and majority of the bath towels were stained. We had to take the bath towels that didn't seem too terribly dirty and lay it atop the stained sheets and sleep around it because there was not much else we could do. The sofa beds also had mysterious stains on it, so we had to lay towels on top of that to sleep on. Also none of the beds aside from the king bed came with blankets. How can you advertise a family suite with multiple beds and there's no blankets or real pillows? The only good thing about this motel is that it's a 2 min walk to the beach. I paid almost $400/night and the only thing that's important is cleanliness. If you're looking to book the family suite don't. I rather be farther from the beach and sleep easy in comfort knowing there's not bed bugs or mysterious stains.

Dirty, lack of maintenance.

The room was dirty, the air conditioner malfunctioning. We notified the front desk early the next morning and nothing was done about the air conditioning or anything else!

Towels were stained, no blankets or pillows for the sofa beds. Remote for living room fan did not work. No remote for fan in bedroom. Tv remote did not work for the tv in the bedroom. Refrigerator was dirty. Was of black hair in the bathroom. Do not recommend this property to anyone.

Right on the beach, 250 feet to touch water from property. Internet was down for half the day, some construction, hot meals for breakfast is not available. Despite this few things, had a great time.

The room was conveniently close to the beach. The room was clean. Very spacious. We had two adults and 4 teenagers. Just enough room.

Rooms were not like the pictures. Room appeared clean at first glance but there was mold on the walls and in the shower. Floors were dirty with sand on them, blankets and sheets were stained with sand. Bedding felt wet due to the humidity in the room. Only thing that was good was the proximity to the beach. Definitely wasn’t worth the money.

The property location was perfect and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful and even though we had no hot water for the shower and the phone wasn’t working the overall experience made up for any shortcomings. They were willing to move us to a different room to solve these issues. However, since we were leaving soon, we did not take him up on that offer. Highly recommend this place.

The executive suite what not what was pictured on the website. The “pull out couches” were more like foldable hospital beds. When we asked for extra pillows (there was 3 in a room that sleeps 6), they told us they were all out of pillows. There were also teenage boys who were loudly pounding on our door at 3am. The location really redeemed the hotel. It was very close to the beach, which was nice. It was very overpriced for the room we received.

(For purchase: drinks, snacks, a few clothing items/bathing suits, and questions answered with smiles by all staff at all times we popped in after check in and before check out) Overall this place was not pricey, perfectly valued with a great staff. This hotel had everything we needed close by…from the beach to restaurants. If you didn’t want to out to eat, full kitchen to cook for yourself and family. Amazing family vacation. Will definitely stay again.

Walkable to beach which was amazing. Looks like they are fixing up the property, but areas of the property are run down. Door handles/locks do not work and are rusted. I’ve maker broken.

The customer service was fantastic. The only issues we had were that the ice machine was broken the entire time we were there and the complementary breakfast was a little sad, but it looked like there was some construction going on where they would normally have breakfast. I think, regardless of these issues we would definitely come back.

This was our second time at the Seaside Boutique. Last visit was in September 2024. A lot has changed. First off the location is stellar, a one minute walk to the beach, that has not changed. What has changed is there is construction which basically eliminated the great breakfast they used to have, now it is prepackaged continental breakfast items. They used to allow pets, that has changed. Luckily we did not bring a pet along on this trip. The rooms are always clean but the fold out beds are VERY uncomfortable, I think this needs to be addressed if you advertise sleeping for xx number of people. Some fine tuning in maintenance but nothing that was a show stopper. The staff is always very nice. Parking is a bit of an issue as removing a sidewalk on the street side would eliminate the very narrow parking lane. While there are signs that state compact car parking only - many visitors simply ignore this and park their trucks there. The result is driving over the curb on the sidewalk to get around the inconsiderate visitors. Maybe some of this is a result of the construction, not sure why you would start construction during the busy summer season, but I would hope the changes make a Seaside Boutique the charming place we experienced only roughly a year ago.

It was clean and very close to the beach. The staff was pleasant. What I didn't like is that I read there was a good hot breakfast, which there wasn't. It was a small continental breakfast. The whole dining area was under construction and tarped off.

We always stay here whenever we’re visiting Port A. It needs ls renovation especially with the bathroom and kitchen but it’s very clean. No bugs, no roaches and the location is top notch! Staffs were all accommodating and friendly.

It shows I have an Executive suite but was not. The couches pull out beds are very firm and uncomfortable to sit in.

I am thoroughly enjoying my stay at the Seaside Boutique Hotel. The king size bed was great very comfy but the living room pull out beds were not very comfortable at all unfortunately - best part was clearly the coldness of the a/c wow! And how close it was to beach entrance that did not disappoint!

The location of the hotel is what drew me in. We had a very short walk to the beach. The hotel is being renovated but the rooms were great. The hotel staff said there will be a splash pad and a gym added. The pool was small but clean. Will definitely choose to visit again!

When I booked online, I booked with intentions of getting the first floor with wheel chair access. I recently for surgery and still cannot use stairs. The room I originally booked was supposed to be a king bed and two pull outs. I had to change last minute because they did not have any available. Mind you, I had already booked with the intentions having that wheelchair access. Other than that the room was nice. It ended up being a 2 full beds. My 3 daughters, husband and I had to figure it out. It was nice stay over all, just was upset that we did not get what we booked.

Not many breakfast options. Just steps from the beach and this beach is the best in the area. We drove all the way to Padre Island, trying the beaches along the way and turns out the one right outside our place was the best. Can’t beat the location.
