Reviews
The hotel staff is consistently praised for their friendliness and helpfulness. However, the condition of the rooms is a common complaint, with guests frequently mentioning issues such as dirty bathrooms, broken fixtures, and uncomfortable beds. The hotel's location and affordability are often seen as positives.
- Friendly and helpful staff
- Convenient location and good value for money
- Rooms in need of maintenance and cleaning
- Uncomfortable beds and broken fixtures

The breakfast was extremely disappointing. Most hotels at bare minimum offer fruit or yogurts. There options were mini waffles, 2 cereal, bread. To top that off they had a sign stating you could not take your breakfast that’s included in your stay to your room. The one side of the toaster they did offer did not even work. The juice machine that offers apple and orange juice on our second stay was not working. Only thing I liked about it was the location. It was near allot of stores and restaurants

Staff was friendly. Breakfast was simple. Bed was comfy. Water was hot. Room was clean, but bathroom needs severe upgrade.

This place was awful. I took my 3 teenagers for the rock the country concert weekend. Every drawer stayed open, the walls were disgusting, stains on all the bedding, the hair dryer didn’t work and was gross, the mini fridge was dirty and stunk, they gave us 2 towels for 4 people and it took so much to get more. Will never stay here again.

The staff needs to learn what hospitality is in the United States of America. At almost 9:00 AM they cut off you eating anything in the breakfast area and there’s five or six people in there waiting to get something and they go leave leave you can’t have anymore. I’m taking stuff to my car. They’re asking me you checking I said no don’t have to check out until 11. Very rude needed sheets changed but person working scared to death of my 5 lb Chihuahua and 7 lb dachshund. Neither one of them have their teeth they can’t bite, but my point is if you’re that scared of dogs, you should not be working at a pet friendly hotel in be rude to people who have pets who is paying to stay there. They’re screaming and yelling through the hallways in a foreign language instead of going into the room and talking to the person there cranking up the vacuum cleaner at 8 AM in the morning in the hallway outside of our room. Do not stay here unless you want the same experience.

Disgusting hotel. The entire place reeked of cigarette smoke or marijuana.

I did not like anything about this place They staff was arguing with another customer in Indian language when we were trying to check in, then he proceed to tell me he saw I selected a smoking room, for starters I haven’t smoked in 20 years, for 2 I haven’t been to a hotel that allowed you to smoke in 20 years or more, we get to the room it smells like marijuana, there was also a roach climbing on the door in the bathroom, we didn’t even start 30 minutes and left to get another hotel, went to Sparks by Hilton, never staying there again

I didn’t like the breakfast because it could have had eggs and bread.

Chambre correcte sauf appareil de climatisation extrêmement bruyant
- 2/5
I stayed for two days. The shower was cold, and hard to figure out how to work. I had to actually ask the front desk who then rolled his eyes at me. The floors were dirty in the room and the hallways. It is an older hotel which is no ones fault but the cleanliness was not where it should be. There is no such thing as a continental breakfast like they say. It was bagels, juice or coffee, or cereal. I just felt the whole experience was very lack luster.
- 5/5
Very clean hotel and awesome check in process and the stay was very nice.
- 1/5
Good contender for worst hotel room I've ever stayed in. Upon opening the door, the room had an almost unbreatheable stench of mold. There was a solid line of black mold at the junction of the ceiling and back wall, and spots of black mold several other places in the room. It was probably a health hazard for me to stay there. Besides that, almost every object in the room looked like it had been broken and badly repaired several times, and the sound insulation to other rooms was almost non-existant (someone walking in the room above sounded like a stampeding bull and woke me up at 6am, and you could hear the words from other people's TVs). "Free breakfast" was also just cereal, bagels, vending machines, and one waffle maker. Staff were cool at least, so no hate there.
- 4/5
Friendly staff, good size room, could be cleaner but that was not a deal breaker. Close to Tanger outlets and several fast food places. About 30 minute drive to downtown Savannah. 10 minutes from the airport.
- 5/5
It a great hotel if you wanna be close to Tanger Outlet. I really like the location, it was a lot of good places around in walking distance. The staff were overall friendly. The breakfast was ok but I wished they some fresh fruits and instant oatmeal or grits.
- 4/5
You get what you pay for. It is a clean hotel close to everything. No thrills but you are safe, it’s clean and staff is polite. Ask for towels at check in and bring your own shampoo!
- 5/5
Pretty good well maintained and quiet. Close to everything
- 5/5
This was an overnight, on-the-way elsewhere stay. The hotel was clean and the staff were friendly. Our room was nice and clean.
- 3/5
Room was clean. It’s inexpensive. Breakfast was aweful as was the coffee. It is pet friendly.
- 3/5
The only thing they had for breakfast was the hotel waffles that you make on your own. When I went down for breakfast, there were staff members in the dining room sitting and eating breakfast. I’m just like they don’t have a break room. The hallway was very dim and dingy. The carpet looked like it needed to be replaced overall for a red roof and the it’s expected. We only slept there for five hours because we were headed down to Florida so it was worth $77.
- 4/5
Was not the best but gave us what we needed. A clean room and quiet, undisturbed sleep. Did not try the breakfast buffet as it was mostly cold items. The place was clean and we were able to have our dog with us. We have stayed in places that were not as nice, so this RRI was a good one. Will stay here again on our way to Florida.
- 3/5
Breakfast was very basic: cereal waffles & toast. There was no fruit or yogurt.. The room was clean, but bathroom needed some repairs & tub didn't have a plug so couldn' use the tub..The elevators most times smelled marijuana..so we used the stairs..And we could hear the neighboring rooms noises.. staff was great and very helpful..lots of stores, restaurants near by..all walking distance.. so that was great!

There was no towels and the room creeked every time someone above us walked around.

This hotel needs a total makeover. The microwave in the room was rusty and corroded on the top and when I went to heat up my dinner which I paid little money for my food got stuck although I was reimbursed for my food this hotel is extremely old and outdated the employees were nice The tub had mold in the caulking and stained up.
- 3/5
Bedding and bed were clean and comfortable. But room is very sparse; no kettle or coffee maker. Window coverings barely cover the full window. Shower drains slowly. No where to put shampoo or soap except for the floor. Security latch on the exterior door was broken. Breakfast was minimal too. But the location was good and staff was very nice.
- 4/5
Room was clean. Good location
- 4/5
This was a great option for under $100 per night. We have 2 dogs, who were welcomed(1 stayed for free, 2nd was $15) I had no problem paying $15 for our fur babies to be welcomed. The staff was so very kind and helpful. The beds were small,(I didn't think about double checking for a queen) but it was still a pleasant stay.

- 5/5
The staff ate my chick fil a but the room was spotless and housekeeping kept it nice and tidy in our room there was no keep out sign so the staff walked in on us a couple times
- 2/5
The noise was terrible. There were military jets flying overhead, people talking outside (all hours), and the people above us walking around and slamming doors. They finally settled down about 1:00am, only to have the jets start flying over. The drawers on both the dresser and the nightstand would not stay closed, and you would end up walking into them. The free breakfast was horrible. Frosted flakes or fruit loops, Toast or a bagel, but limited condiments for them. No yogurt or protein of any sort. Would not recommend this hotel, although it was conveniently located!

The staff was super friendly and helpful. However, I did have a few inconveniences. My room key stopped working the morning of check out before 7am, but hotel wasn’t the cleanest throughout, the entire hotel smelled of cigarette smoke unless you were actually inside your non smoking room. The location was wonderful, so many dining options and right next to Tanger Outlets.
- 4/5
Hotel was right off the Interstate. Really affordable & great for a quick 1 night stop. We stayed here while traveling to Tybee Island. Surrounding area has plenty of places to eat & gas up. Only about 20ish minute drive into the Historic District on Savannah.
- 4/5
Good hotel, we stayed only one night, but very close to a lot of dining options, quiet place. It may use some upgrades as tiles and bathtub looked old.
- 1/5
Property is very dirty in this room smell very bad. Our AC unit had a crack in it, which was very unsafe for the little kids we had with us. The bathroom was the worst bathroom had a very mildew smell.
- 3/5
For a quick one night this was an ok stay. I wasn’t expecting the additional charges at check in. When I got off the elevator there was an odor of marijuana covered by air freshener, there was a couple screaming at each other and people yelling in the hallway. While sitting on the toilet the wall was discovered to be extremely dirty. The sheets were questionable about the cleanliness.

The staff was helpful and attentive. The Continental breakfast was not up to par. The beds are getting old, they were lumpy, and I felt like I was going to roll off the edge.

Wanted something close to the airport. This definitely was. It was gross. The bed was clean but everything else was not. Staff was very nice but the room was not. Looks like they painted over the dirt at some point. Spend the little extra and stay somewhere else.

Well we booked this room for a week while we looked for our new home here in savannah ga. The outside looked alright but upon check in I was told a 75 fee was required the front desk agent didn't seem very professional. He was extremely nosey to begin with which I wasn't a fan of already. We got to our room 209 the living room ac worked bedroom ac didn't there was an awful smell to the room the bathroom was the worst smelling the floor was sticky as well as soft spots in the floor. Well we put my water purifier on the counter where the microwave was only to find out it was sinking in the middle so it wasn't level. The people who stay here are questionable. The mattress protector on the mattress had a cigarette burn in it which to me is really disgusting. We were a family of 5 and trying to get enough towels for my family was like pulling teeth. The breakfast is only bread and waffles they at least have crandberry juice. If you don't let housekeeping in your room they will berate you on why you won't let housekeeping in. I used to work as a housekeeper so I prefer to clean my own room as well as have my own sheets on the bed because not all hotels practice proper cleaning regiment I believe this is one of those hotels. So

- 3/5
The property is very worn down. My toilet seat was worn out with cuts in it and floors looked dirty in the bathroom. And the hotel has a not to good smell.

Check in was easy and fast. The room was clean. The bed was comfortable. The water pressure in the shower was weak but adequate.

I want a refund!!! My husband got hurt on the rusty chair he is disabled and had no access. He was very ill and got sicker. The shower didn't come on it was broken and when I told the clerk, He started it does that to everyone who stays! You have to pull it really hard to come on. I did and it was broken we had no shower. The room was filthy! I want a call back from a manager or property owner to get a refund!!! We got a handy cap room and it injured us instead! I will contact the property owner ASAP!!
- 5/5
A great place to stop when passing through town.

Foundation issue in my room . Half of room up hill or half goes down. I could hear people above me walking. What is the point of making a bed,if you dont change sheets? My sheets were not change. Not enough wash cloths in a room for a suite.

King suites very spacious, plenty of dinning options and fast food restaurants within walking distance. The property is clean and quiet. Great cell phone reception!

This was fine, nothing fancy but clean safe and an easy drive into downtown Savanah. The waffles at breakfast were great!
- 4/5
Had a veryngood experience. The location was very nice, close to what i was in the area for. The room was very clean and quiet. Friendly cuatomerr service and overall quality service.
- 4/5
Good as advertised. Good for Airport Hotel.
- 2/5
But the wifi did not reach my room (204), the shower water was mislabeled: the hot water came out of the cold water side of the dial--and thus it took forever to realize why I wasn't getting hot water. And the hair dryer did not work. The hotel is also hidden behind another hotel and, though one can see the Red Roof sign from a distance, it takes a bit of winding and then a turn past a sign that says "dead end" to reach it.
- 5/5
This was a one night stay for my family. The suite was great for the 5 of us. Three room was outdated but clean. It would have been great there were more towels upon check-in, but it was only a minor inconvenience. There are a few vending machines. They are cash only though. The front desk was very hospitable and kind. The breakfast was not very much. DIY waffles are always a hit. Would definitely stay again.
- 1/5
I couldnt believe how dirty the room was the walls were yellow and dusty with black mold i checked in at 1:30 because i couldnt drive anymore and it was the worse mistake i ever made i woke up with red bumps all over my skin and i cannot stop scratching

Elevator smelled like marijuana at all times as well as the hallway. Bathroom fixtures were loose and broken - shower control did not work. Feces in the wall. Towels were thin and limited. Tv remote did not work. Room did not get cleaned between days just gave us new towels. Said the couldn’t print us a receipt. Not customer friendly towards customers.
- 5/5
Not the first time staying here. Very pleased as usual
- 1/5
Remote had corroded batteries, had tonuse personal batteries in it, because there was only one person working, so they couldnt come up to the room to drop new ones off. The flooring is warped and it dips towards the middle of the room. All around not worth the peice of stay, with other options available in the area.

I thought the trip was a good trip until I only got a portion of my security deposit back. They kept $25 for a hand towel and pillowcase that they said had blood on it. I was disappointed in that. I have stayed in hotels my whole adult hood and I have never had someone keep my security deposit.

Hotel was Convenient coming off 95 on our way to Florida. However, the bathroom was small and dingy with a tiny sink outside the unit. While the tub was clean, the floor looked like it could use a scrubbing and in places tiles were missing which gave the appearance that there was a dirt floor underneath. Also our shower handle was swinging so you could not adjust the temperature. The bed area was fine tho. Hallway had a musty odor and rugs could use a wash. Breakfast was carbs only.
- 4/5
Very nice ppl. Great room for the money. Could use a different shower head but again for the price it was great

Very friendly and helpful person that checked us in.

This was just for a quick night’s sleep before heading south. Check in was easy and staff was very helpful. What stood out to me was after we left. Within about 15-20 minutes I got a phone call stating I had left a charger. In all of my travels over the years I have never had a phone call stating we had left something. This was great teamwork between housekeeping and the front desk staff. So very very helpful.
