Our room was on the 3rd floor with out of order elevators.im 70 years old with a hip and knee replacement.do I wanted in the lobby for 40 minutes at 10 at night for the staff to get myself and granddaughter in 2 separate rooms because they only had single rooms.no apologies.very disappointing.

After my experience, I'm not surprised that this hotel was one of the only hotels that still had availability on Memorial Day weekend. Room was decent with the exception of the toilet moving as you sit on it. Breakfast was very minimal with a waffle maker, 2 types of cereal (cheerios, and corn flakes), powered donuts/danish, and milk/orange juice/coffee. No low fat or nondairy options. Customer service at check-in was good. Customer service in the morning was not. We asked for a 30min late checkout, Front desk said no as that the maid was asking to leave early. this was the 1st time I've ever had a late checkout denied. Most hotels gladly extend you an hour or even 2.

If you have mobility issues -- the toilet-height was more child-height. If you need a taller commode, ask for accessibility room. We were there overnight, so I didn't bring my elevated seat. These were are only "bad" comments. We stayed there overnight on the way to St. Augustine and back home again. Very clean, smelled clean and fresh, comfortable bed, Wi-Fi was good, staff very nice. We would definitely stay there again.

The hotel was conveniently located, making it easy to get right back on the interstate to continue my drive home. The one staff member I actually encountered was pleasant. The overall esthetic of the hotel was dated and not maintained. Including the signage out front and tattered and ripped curtains that could be seen from the parking lot. A sign is kept perpetually on top of the front counter, indicating that the staff has stepped away for a moment and will return shortly. An acrylic guard is also on the counter between the guest and the staff who is assisting. I'm sure this was placed here during COVID, but I think we're at a point where it should be removed. The TV in the room was small and outdated, likely from the early 2000s. Although the room was comfortable, and seemed clean, a soaking wet towel was left in the shower.. i don't know if this was left by a guest or used by the staff for cleaning the bathroom. And last but not least, the only options for breakfast were sweet: The usual make-it-yourself waffle, mini donuts, mini muffins and cereal. This is not ideal for individuals who have dietary limitations, diabetes or simply don't want to load up on sugar first thing in the morning.

I thought the cost of the night's stay far outweighed the value. Apparently I must have been there at the wrong time ??? The staff was nice enough, as were the rooms, but the area was only ok and the breakfast was not on par with most hotels I've stayed at. Rude check in lady. When we came in she said we smelled like smoke and wanted my credit card for an additional security deposit on top of the regular security deposit! I told her we knew there was no smoking in the room so we smoked before checking in! There are better choices all around them. Pick one of them instead!

If you like tea you are out of luck; they only serve coffee and have milk (for cereal). Should consider tea bags for guests since they have hot water for oatmeal. We booked this hotel at night after a cancelled flight. It definitely looks a little sketchy from the outside and has a dim sign. Check in was strange. We had to stand in the vestibule between sliding doors and pick up a phone for service. The staff member that came out from around the corner was in pajamas. I assume she was sleeping in a room and we woke her up to check in. She was pleasant though and did not seem bothered by us. After several minutes, we were told there was a $100 deposit that would have to be paid and would be refunded at check out. We were not made aware of this when we booked online. We were not able to use the main door, we had to exit the building and enter a side door. The rooms were fine, but outdated and needed repairs and updating. Very few toiletries offered. Around midnight, someone started banging on one of the doors down the hall and yelling someone’s name. This went on for about 15 minutes. Later in the night, someone pulled on our door. Felt unsafe and did not get much rest. I would not stay again and would recommend spending an additional $25-$50 to stay somewhere comfortable and safe.

My stay at Magnolia Inn was extremely pleasant. The staff were all friendly and helpful and check in/check out process was a breeze. The room was spacious and quiet all night.

This hotel is very tired and dated. Carpets were dirty and old. The bedroom was clean but the chair provided was extremely worn. The taps at washbasin were wobbly and the shower was extremely cramped. Our room was not serviced during our two night stay and the air con was very noisy The whole hotel needs complete refurbishment.

Our son moved to the area a few months ago and we are looking to find a hotel we will frequent when visiting him. This isn’t one. Not the worst hotel we’ve stayed at but not even near average for what we’ve experienced. And we travel a lot.

The Magnolia Inn is close proximity to Historic Savannah & SCAD without the prices of historic Savannah. This is my second stay at this property. It will continue to be the place I chose to stay when I come see my kid at SCAD.

I needed a last minute hotel room in Pooler, and this was one of the cheapest options. I assumed it would be run down, but I was very pleasantly surprised. First time in Savannah. I picked a hotel close to airport. My room was good, great bed. Refrigerator, micro & coffee maker in room. My only suggestion would be to add some fruit to the breakfast...Staff helpful & friendly

The room was great. We enjoyed our stay. There are some things we saw that needed to be replaced. For instance, the leather desk chair is cracked. The toliet was wobbling. The nightstand next to the jacuzzi had an area at the bottom where the wood is no longer intact. Overall, this was a nice experience and I would come back.

Very decent for the price, nice ppl that helped when needed. Only things that need upgrading are the ac filters, desk chair in the room, & the shower heads. Other than those 3 things it’s a great stay,great price.

My fiancé and I stayed here the weekend after hurricane Helene hit (Sunday, September 30th-October 1st). We both knew it would be a bit chaotic around the area so that wasn’t really an issue. Service was decent, neither excellent nor terrible. There are a few vending machines inside the hotel and both were out of bottled water. Somehow, they were able to charge our card and immediately showing “unavailable” after selecting the water. The shower seemed a bit dingy and not the cleanest, and the water pressure with the shower and toilet were excessively powerful. The toilet flushing could be heard from outside the room door. The ice water pitcher in the breakfast area was missing during breakfast and the hot water pitcher wasn’t clean. It had previously had coffee in it and wasn’t properly cleaned before switching to water. We got water from the hot water pitcher and added ice to it but there was a definite coffee taste. After our first cup of self-made ice water, the taste lessened. We likely won’t stay here again, though most of our issues were more of an inconvenience or a matter of preference. We aren’t very likely to recommend this hotel to others, but if you don’t have many options, this hotel would suffice. These are just a few things to keep in mind, as these issues were all present during our 2 night stay.

Close to airport and highway. Easy to get around. Nice place. Nice people.

I could tell that the owners took great pride in their property. The room and all areas we had access to were immaculate.

Convenient and quiet

The manager/front clerk had a terrible attitude. We came at one o'clock and he made us sit until three (which may happen at some places) but the way he spoke to us...never going back there unless the owners/ management changes.

They refused to check me in without scraping all the data from my drivers license. I'm fine with identifying myself- they can look at it, but they may not scan and capture my life history. It's as if they are more interested in collecting my data than making a sale. How weird is that?

The people wasnt very welcoming..They didnt have extended stay not that many towels..They wasnt very friendly at all
