Shaun cooked omelets to order for breakfast! He was very personable. The hotel was very nice for a budget hotel. There was a lot of space. The pool area had cabanas as well as the normal lounge chairs. The beds were comfortable. The bathroom had a little mold or mildew in the caulk. But overall for a budget hotel we were pleasantly surprised!

I did not stay there after looking at the property and my assigned room. The photos in Expedia did not match the actual property which was clearly in a state of disrepair outside and inside the hotel.

They one have 1 restaurant when the web page says 2....phone in room didn't work.....breakfast buffet said they had an omelet station but they didn't.....only one trashcan in room....need I say more....website says more but then they don't. I've stayed at nicer places out of the coupon books you get at rest areas.

The location and amenities were good. They have a very good breakfast and staff is friendly. They are starting some upgrades but so much still need to be done. The room needs a deep cleaning. There were long hairs on the bed and on the floor throughout the room. They came and swept the room for us but still needs a floor cleaner. You could see hair and dirt stuck to the bottom of the bathroom door. The bathroom fan was so loud it couldn't be turned on.

We stayed here for the RTC music festival. All we did was shower and sleep. Beds were comfy. AC was cold. Room was clean but older property in need of a refresh. Our microwave was broken and the shower doors were installed backwards it seemed because water shot out onto the floor between them. Price was fair considering. Breakfast was good.

Cottonwood was a very nice hotel with great amenities and a very great location to get to the outlets and other fun activities. It's an older hotel but kept up pretty well. Avoid the backrooms. The only real complaint is the odd smells throughout the hotel. We stayed to go to a concert over in Bloomingdale! They also have a cool Japanese restaurant. Would stay again.

Very clean

Not what it appears to be. I will say I am a traveler that enjoys a good breakfast and updated furniture. This was not the case. I will also say it was a peaceful and quiet place to rest.

Great stay, everything A-OK!

The 2 staff that I met were really nice and Shaun at the breakfast buffet was super friendly and kept the food warm and coming quick. I was originally given a room on the 2nd floor and was not aware there is NO elevator. "Thankfully" I found a dirty sock on the side of the chair and was allowed a bottom room but with 2 queen beds and not the king I booked. The first room smelled horrible and the floor was not swept. It had carpet and super dated. Now the bottom room had hard wood floors and smelled clean. Water pressure was low when I flushed the toilet. So make sure you do your business and wait about 5 minutes before you shower 🙄. Bed was really comfortable. Overall it got the job done and I might stay again but think I'll take a stay with a little more Wow factor. It was very budget friendly without it being a roach motel lol

We left a cane in the room. A staff member called us and said they would save the cane at the front desk. We picked it up on our way back. That was very kind of them. Everyone was kind and helpful. Breakfast buffet was excellent.

It wasn’t filthy and I saw nothing to make me think it was insect-infested or anything of that nature. But it had malfunctioning ice machines, broken glass in fire doors, the lobby didn’t seem too welcoming, the hallway had a strong odor, etc… The big irritation for me was that check-out time was 11 am and they turned off our key cards by 9 am. It created a very difficult time for my wife and I to get our stuff out of the building. Also don’t believe the marketing copy that claims that it’s “convenient” to downtown Savannah. It’s 8-10 miles up the interstate from downtown.

Low price for a great stay with a full hot breakfast!

I mean you get what you pay for but the room when I arrived had a weird smell the floor didn’t look or feel very clean. The breakfast was ok, my husband had the omelette and he said it was delicious.

Place was decent, but definitely dated / needed some work. Continental breakfast was ok, but no omelette station as advertised.

The rooms were very clean and spacious. The beds were very comfortable. The rooms were only cleaned every 2 days per policy. Which is fine but at least make sure the rooms have clean towels. We when returned we had to go ask the front desk for clean towels. The breakfast was the same thing everyday and it was not worth eating. Overall it was a nice stay for the money.

Good location by I-95. Good breakfast. Room was good and very clean, but had a weird smell that we couldn't define. Something like a mix of dump carpet and chemicals smell. But overall, for a night or two, we would stay there again.

We spent one night at this hotel traveling on our way home. We found the hotel to be older than the pictures depicted but it was clean. The staff was friendly.

Bathroom is not clean, towels are paper thin, mismatched shampoo and conditioner. Breakfast was nice. They offer made to order omelets, which was a nice touch.

They took care the problem the next day

The check in could have gone better. Something went wrong between Travelocity and the hotel because the hotel was convinced that my reservation was for a month prior. After showing proof of my reservation, I was given a room at the reserved price, but was stuck with 2 full beds instead of the king room I reserved. The air conditioner didn’t work properly. It was thermostat controlled, but the thermostat would turn the AC off before ever achieving the desired temperature. All night the AC would cycle on and off without ever cooling the room properly. On the second night, I noticed that the thermostat had been turned back up. Either it resets automatically or someone entered my room with the “do not disturb” sign in place. Either way, I will not be returning.

The toilet broke and we had to change rooms after already settling in. We had hoped that they would provide a discount for our trouble but they did not. Also, the breakfast was pretty bad.

The staff when checking out was really nice but the staff checking in wasn't that pleasant. The room was old/dated but clean and had the basic necessities. The hotel was quiet overall so we slept well. The hotel looked more like it used to be a business complex that was turned into a hotel. Now it was a hotel but you had to drive around to the back of the building and go through a door to access your room. I didn't like that because it felt more like a motel to me. Our room was cleaned while we were away (which surprised me) but they didn't stock up the towels and wash cloths completely. So I had to go all the way back to the front office just to get those after coming in late from a function. I didn't have the breakfast but my companion stated that some of the food was cold.

Checked in around 4:30 and was given a room around the back of the property. This is a very large place, so the lady at checkin gave me a map to show me where to park and what door I needed to use. I am a single female traveling alone and when I pulled around the corner to the spot where I was told to park, there were no other cars in the lot. There were 3 young men hanging out by the door smoking. The building was in disrepair with the glass above the entrance boarded up. I used my key card to gain access, which was good. My room was located ground floor about 3 rooms from exit. This is something that I usually wont accept while alone, but I was tired, so I didnt say anything. The room itself was very nice .some minor repairs need to be done, but it was clean. I left for dinner and when I got back, there were 2 cars parked there now. Hotel had a free breakfast, but the omelet station that other reviews mentioned, wasnt open. Food was just average hotel free stuff. For some reason, Wyndham says this is a boutique hotel and I am not sure they have looked at the whole property. I usually don't do reviews, but this one needed to be written. If you end up booking here, make sure you get a room in the front of the hotel.

I stayed at 5 hotels in the last two weeks with my dog. Pet charge was the most expensive. The entire total ended up costing me an extra $100. Shop around. There are several other hotels to choose from and others "Do" acknowledge Military Discount. Very disappointing.

The room was good. Could’ve used daily trash pick up and towels though! The free breakfast was a little underwhelming with the French toast and eggs not on the omelette bar being cold. The lounge chairs by the pool had rips in the cushions. The staff was friendly though! Another pet peeve of mine is the vending machine on my floor was empty.

We have stayed 3 times at Cottonwood Suites in the past 5 months. Each time we have enjoyed our stay. Rooms are nice, breakfast is great and staff are excellent. Rates are nice with easy access to I-95.

Absolutely disgusting. 0/5 would absolutely not recommend this spot at all. When we checked in and got to our room it smelled of stale cigarettes and pickles. The floor was sticky. The bathroom toilet had dung residue in it. Totally repulsive.

Made a reservation here within the hour as we had booked at the Baymont but upon arrival and seeing the building immediately looked for another and found this hotel. Hotel is very spread out, huge breakfast area, pool with music playing. Room was clean and quite spacious, housekeeping was great. Breakfast was always stocked by staff continuously making sure everything was available. Positively impressed!

This hotel is equal to a Motel. Unless you are use to motels and don’t care about gross baseboards and less than minimal amenities and service I wouldn’t recommend staying here. It smells and the pool equipment is old, stained and ripped up. We had to wait forever just to get pool towels as well.

I was horrified by the state of the bathroom. There was mould in the bathroom and the woodwork was filthy and in disrepair. I wore shoes throughout my stay as the floor was not clean. The air conditioning did not work. I was so distressed by the state of the property that I declined eating food that was prepared in the facility.

The breakfast should have started around 6:00 Am instead of 7:00 AM.

Property in need of update. The room smelled like cigarette smoke. I requested to change rooms and the room provided already had someone else occupying the room. I requested for a refund and went to another hotel.

Close to the highway Room was grody, breakfast was very subpar (save for the make your own waffles): hot food was meh and potatoes undercooked, breads and pastries stale, and no fresh fruit. I also received a call beforehand guaranteeing that a crib would be available for our toddler, but when we checked in the receptionist said no, they didn’t have one. We pushed back and explained about the phone call, and suddenly one was available.

The front desk was ver welcoming. I liked the easy on/off access to I95. The pool was big, however, it is not heated and was freezing, thus unusable on a 90 degree day in March. The whole place is under construction. If I had known, I would have booked elsewhere. There was a huge sweet 16 party, with hundreds of teens roaming around. The pool was freezing and while lying out bt pool reading and trying to relax, an employee came out and turned on music, which was extremely loud. Our room appeared to be one of the ones they are redoing. Bed was very comfortable and fridge was cold. Dish TV is horrible. The bathroom needs to be updated to match the renovations done in the bedroom area.

Non-existent Service: There was nobody at the front desk for both check-in and check-out. I waited for an eternity just to get my key, and at departure, I waited again with no staff in sight. I eventually had to leave my key cards on the desk and walk out just to make my flight. Dirty & Neglected Rooms: The room was filthy. The floors were so sticky that it was uncomfortable to walk barefoot. The furniture and fixtures are incredibly outdated and literally rusting away. Broken Facilities: Several power outlets in the room did not work at all, making it impossible to charge my devices overnight. Poor Breakfast Experience: Although breakfast is stated to end at 10:00 AM, the staff began clearing everything away before 9:30 AM. It felt like we were being kicked out while we were still trying to eat. Bad Odors: The hallways have a nauseating smell, reminiscent of old, damp carpets that haven't been cleaned in years. Bottom line: This property is poorly maintained and lacks basic hospitality standards. I will definitely not be staying here again.

Yes very welcoming

A very decent place with a very decent price. They were doing some rehab, but there was no machinery or anything like that. It looked like they were expanding. Although it was too early in the morning for breakfast for me, the breakfast buffet and the chef at the omelette station was excellent. Shawn at the omelette station greeted everyone very nicely and was a wonderful presence in the morning.

Horrible.. dont ever, ever, ever waste your time, money. Looks, pictures and ratings for this place ia deceiving. Especially coming from out of town not knowing the area. You will be disappointed. Booked off of ratings and boy idk what them people was thinking, I guess some people ok with staying in a place like that. Building is old and just very dingy the room we where put in at first was old, with old furniture, stains on the mix match sofas, floor look like it hasn't been moped in years, bed looked as if someone layed on it..no ma'am. Went to front desk, asked where the room at that I seen on Expedia cause that wasn't it, so guy upfront did change the room to I guess the picture from the site, which wasnt as bad as the first room. While ok with that room left to grab some eats to come back to guys hanging outside the entrance smoking weed, which wasnt a great look. Got to room to notice AC not working to its best. Hot and muggy needless to say all night, at that point didnt have the energy to complain about it, considering we were there just for 1 night and all the complaints thus far. After all that breakfast there was not even a consideration. That hotel shouldn't even be mentioned on any platform..dont do it to yourself KEEP ON LOOKING!

Room was ok clean but hardly any outlets for chargers. For families traveling its so so if you on the road working its pretty dang good. Refrigerator could have been a little cooler for food but kept drinks cool Ice machine definitely needs some tlc. It works but not very eye appealing.

The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was okay. Bed was comfortable and sheets seemed clean. The bathroom is in need of serious attention. Saw a brown bug scurry out of the rotted door drama which really freaked me out.

The hotel itself is a bit outdated and could use some renovations, but it was clean, spacious, and comfortable. The bed was especially comfortable, which made a big difference after a long drive. For a two-night stay, it was quiet, felt safe at all times, and provided a good place to rest. The location was also convenient with easy access to many nearby places, which was a plus. If you’re looking for a comfortable and safe place to stay during a road trip and don’t mind slightly older décor, this is not a bad choice at all.

The room was outdated. It had been cleaned but it felt unclean. The towels were minimal and just ok. The toiletries were just ok. I booked this room because it had an 8.4 rating. I do not understand how it could be rated that high. I couldn’t wait to leave.

This was a terrible stay. First, the location was not well lit and was run down and made us wary. The second floor was boarded up for some reason which made it seem even more uneasy. Worst of all, we got bed bug bites! The pictures in the ad for the hotel were not correct either for the room or condition of the place

Didn’t like the turkey and pork mix for sausage. The potatoes weren’t cooked thoroughly the French toast was rubbery because they are cooking in microwave. But I enjoyed the waffle and coffee overall this place was nice Waffle House close by. Turkey meat is an option that should definitely be available.

The room was clean, but the air was musty upon arrival. The beds were comfortable. The breakfast was much better than expected for a "continental breakfast". Included eggs, sausage, French toast, waffles, cereals, yogurt, fruit juices and more.

There was no toilet paper hanger/holder so you had to reach around to the back of the toilet. The lighted mirror in the bathroom was very dim.

This facility is NOT well maintained. The bathroom door would not shut. The molding was trashed in the bathroom. The mirror light over the sink was so dim as to be nonexistent. The toilet leaked. The armoire wouldn’t close. The curtains weren’t the same length by about 6”. The only positive was breakfast when they had someone making fresh to order omelettes. That is the reason for one star. The room was a zero. I would NOT recommend staying here.

The room is ok, but a bit dated. The bathrooms and windows need to be touched up. Other than that, the hotel was very safe and quiet.

Photos and listing of amenities was misleading. This motel was unacceptably dirty, had sketchy people hanging around, and felt unsafe. I booked a motel elsewhere and hopefully the manager said they would refund me.

The room needs significant repairs (paint, rust removal, damaged furniture, loose bathroom shower head, damaged bathroom shower shelf, refrigerator cabinet door does not close, etc.

Also in the morning the fire alarm went off and we don't know why. Our room keys stopped working in the morning before we checked out and had to get them sorted out at the front desk which was annoying.

We originally booked a regular room, but we were given a suite because they did not have our room available. I believe that because of this, our room was never cleaned. In addition, the breakfast was very poor and made me uncomfortable eating it. One of the servers was grabbing the omelet eggs with his bare hands, without gloves, which is very unsanitary and unacceptable. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience, and I do not feel the service met basic standards.

Our room was located on the back side of the hotel, where there was a large wooden board covering missing glass. This was not very appealing and gave the hotel an uncomfortable impression. I believe focusing more on presentation and maintenance would make a significant difference, as first impressions truly matter.

Bath faucet would not turn on so no morning shower. Several bugs crawling around bathroom floor and tub area.

Truck.driver. been staying here for years. I've seen it change hands. Stayed 2 nights recently. Should have someone come in and refresh towels etc.. Also should put an automatic coffee machine in the lobby like most hotels.are now doing. People.like us that leave at 1am grab a coffee and roll. Usually the person at the front desk wont make it untila certain time of the morning so just put an automatic machine.

Hotel is a little dated but the room was clean and the bed comfy. Parking was easy. Price was right for what it is. What is it with having no washcloths tho?? Desk was bar height and the chair provided was SO uncomfortable. They did have an ironing board so I used that along with sitting in the loveseat as a desk Much more comfortable that way! Lol

Fire alarm was pulled off all, just wires hanging out. Mold around window. Move end table to find a plug and uncovered a huge pile of dirt.

Our first room had no AC. After a 13 hr drive it was super uncomfortable to be woken up sweating. We then switched rooms, and plugs would not work either. As well as in the middle of the night we were woke because AC quit working in there as well. I would strongly recommend looking around before booking here. They priced us still for full payment which I thought was ridiculous.

If you book thru Expedia or any app they will put you in the very back where the workers are coming and going at all hours of the night. There’s barely any csvke service when it rains the tv channels don’t come in.. ☣️ The sewage smell coming from the shower drain was so disgusting I had to seal off the door with towels and dryer sheets. Everytime I had to use the toilet I gagged 🤢 you could smell in the hallway a bit too so I just dealt with it and am going elsewhere instead of extending my stay unfortunately

Best hotel for the money...good breakfast buffet with an omelet station on the weekends. I always stay in the king suite and the beds and pillows are very nice.

The cleanliness of the room was great. Linens were crisp and fresh. The beds slept wonderfully. There was some obvious "cut corners" during my room's renovation. For example, the foot shelf in the shower is falling down. It looks like attempts were made to fix the issue to no avail. Breakfast was outstanding! Shaun's omelettes on the weekends were outstanding. Shaun is very personable. I really enjoyed my interaction with him. The pool and courtyard area is absolutely beautiful! During my next stay I will be requesting a room with a courtyard view. My only complaint is more a personal preference. The parking lot lighting is is extremely bright which is required for adequate security. However, the lighting exceeded the limitations of our blackout curtains. (I prefer to sleep in darkness.) Our room was illuminated all night. None of the other guest in my party had any complaints due to the lighting. I am looking forward to seeing the hotel upon the completion of their reno!

Newly remodeled and very clean

Dirty and didn’t get the room we paid for with a patio because the owner was using it. Would not refund money either!. Renovations everywhere and we drove 14 hours to be treated poorly by front desk.

Disgusting! Our room was missed for refresh on towels, garbage toilet paper, soap, Kleenex and coffee refills. They didn’t have staff to bring it to our room so I was told had to go to the front desk where I waited 15 minutes to get what I needed.

The room was clean. The building appears to have ongoing renovations. The room I booked (king) was not available when I arrived. The room I was given keys to had a couple in it and fortunately they understood. I am not sure I would stay there again.

I had a great stay at Cottonwood Suites Savannah. The staff was welcoming, the rooms were surprisingly spacious, and everything felt clean and comfortable. The location made it easy to get around, and overall it was an excellent value for the price. I’d definitely stay again.

Bathroom in poor condition very rusty. There was a large gap between the room door and hallway. Door was not straight on the door causing the gap. Breakfast was very low standards and not fresh.

The front desk employee that handled our check in was very nice and friendly. There is no elevator. The stairway wasn't very clean. Our room wasn't very clean, especially the bathroom. Lots of small repairs need to be made. For the price, I guess it hasn't that bad. Considering we were checking in after 11:30 pm after driving nearly 1000 miles, we weren't looking to spend a lot, just wanted clean and comfortable.

When we were using the shower, water didn’t drain out but flooded into toilet up to bathroom door. We had to use all the towels to control flooding.

OMG the staff was so very courteous and helpful.. room was so very clean and had a beautiful scent. We could not believe the free breakfast options.. made to order omelets great scramble eggs and sausage patties. Of course waffles cereal beagle's muffins coffee and juice.. my husband was so impressed that we already booked our return room before we checked out..

Nice staff.

There was dried blood on the bed. The dead bolt on the door was broken with what appeared to be where someone kicked in the door. People were smoking marijuana right outside the door and the room reeked of it. We immediately left and they refused to refund us. Terrible customer service and money wasted

I was thoroughly a the updates. Mattress wasn’t the most comfortable, but everything else was top tier. Recently updates rooms. Stand up shower in handicap accessible room was huge! Unexpected stay and thoroughly pleased.

Easy check-in with personable front desk employee. Older hotel that has had some updates. Nice variety of items at breakfast buffet. Not sure what to say about TV but it was an experience like never before. LOL

Just DON'T go there. Arrived at checkin - no rooms available. 45 minutes later - a room where the WINDOW WAS BROKEN to the outside. An hour later a room where the toilet did not work - AT ALL. It took the maintenance man THREE trips to get parts to fix it. (It was not clogged - it just didn't work). I asked how the he11 it could have been cleaned by housekeeping without them flushing the toilet? I asked for a refund. They could not answer the question - just said "it was cleaned" which was clearly a lie. They gave no refund. They ONLY good part is that my motorcycle wasn't stolen during the night. Just choose another place.

Staff went above and beyond for me

Room was very clean and neat. I think his name was Sean or should I say the omelette maker at breakfast was very pleasant, professional, and took very care of everyone needs and wants. His mannerism made the guest very happy and loved, I would highly recommend this establishment to my family and friends and will definitely stay again.❤️

We didn't have breakfast, slept in instead. Very clean, staff was friendly and welcoming. Ample parking.

The room had a broken window. It was a large crack that if pushed would likely cause the window to fail. The hotel quickly changed our room to the one next door with no problems. The room next door was better overall but the room at some point must have had a leak from the room above. The paint around the ceiling by the bathroom and in the bathroom had bubbled. The bathroom door hinges are rusty and the door does not work right due to past water issues.

Breakfast and staff was great

The room did not seem clean. There were what seemed to be bullet holes in my window which I didn’t see till the morning. The room smelled like smoke and was musky. My friend’s room was dirty and had excrements in the toilet. I honestly cannot believe that this place has received any positive reviews or that I was charged money to stay here. I mean bullet holes causing an opening in the window on the ground floor. Breakfast is very bare except for the omelet but it wasn’t the greatest either. We switched hotels to a Fairfield Inn and although that is a budget hotel it is a million times better.

The staff was amazing!!

The smoker section has to be moved away from the hotel, not by the back door. It makes the hallway by that door stink with cigarette/marijuana smoke. Pay attention to detail on cleanliness. Things can be cleaned better.

It’s a cheap hotel so expectations weren’t high going in. But the smoke smell even in the non-smoking rooms was a lot, the toilet in my room had very clearly not been cleaned and my friend’s room had what looked like bullet holes in the window.

This was absolutely a perfect stay. The facility in itself and huge, the room was very large. Quiet, extremely clean. All the staff were always anxious to help with any questions. The breakfast was warm, delicious and filling and the breakfast area was the largest I have ever seen in any hotel.

I here stay frequently for work and business.

Our shower did not work in room 203! We did not try it until the morning when we woke up but there was not anything we could do to get one drop of water out of it. After looking closer at it, it didn't look like water has came out of it for a while. We tried turning every way, being very paticular moving the knob but nothing! When we checked out, we informed the guy at the desk and he was like "yeah, oh! 203", "others have said something about it" then he said something about having to hold your ear a certain way but no apologies or anything. He also said they were going to replace it some time in the future. If you stay here, dont stay in 203 and check for running water in the shower as soon as you check in! Breakfast was the bare minimum at 830, no refills on the hot food and the whole area was messy.

Rooms need to be updated

The photos of the property must have been from when it first opened. The property and room smelled like mildew, the floors were sticky. The room was falling apart. The bathroom door handle was broken off and the door couldn't close. Cigarette burns on the chair, the latch to the front door was broken off. The phone to the front desk didn't work. I guess you get what you pay for. Staff was friendly though.

First of all, I could choose a better place, but I opted to a cheaper one. You get what you pay for.it. I will be more of a spender next time. It’s not my kind of place. Nothing scream “this is nice”.

The breakfast was good. Typical continental breakfast fare but it was good. The building smelled old and looked old and run down. We had to switch rooms because it smelled of cigarette smoke. We got two rooms. We were early but one room was ready for us. The second room wasn’t ready till after 3:30 which was the one that smelled.

Friendly staff, clean rooms and variety breakfast. Nice location, close to Savannah, but far enough out to not be downtown and it had convenience. Dinyah at the front desk was great.

It was ok for what it was, fairly clean, however we did receive a suite king room that looked like it was still being build, with a few things dangling here and there.. maybe it was just that room and we were unlucky to be the one to receive it, but overall we slept great, breakfast in the morning was great and overall OK.

One bed had hair all over the sheets but they did come and change the sheets.

The second room was an improvement, it was clean and smelled much better though the bathroom door was rusted and difficult to close. Unfortunately, we also noticed that the water had an odd taste when brushing our teeth.

The staff was very nice. But the hotel was filthy dirty. The pictures on hotels.com were definitely photo shopped.

Staff at the front desk was friendly. Facility is dated, including the bathroom in my room. Mirror was swinging off the wall and there was a constant rattle coming from the exhaust fan, even when it was off. Room had a different smell that is hard to describe.

Big tv (weird remote). Nice reading lights. Free snacks. Fridge (no freezer) and microwave.

This place has alot of potential. They are going through reservations and they are doing a good job but still have things that they can do. Our room was Excellent, however still had some older stained carpet in it. We loved the opened conference space where the breakfast was held. The property is really clean. Staff was Excellent and friendly! Price was very affordable. We will definitely be staying again.

Staff was nice and courteous. Good location. No traffic noise. Very loud AC which didn’t cool properly. Bathroom door didn’t shut all the way. No hair conditioner. Still could use some work in the room. Beds pretty good though. It worked for a one night pass through.

The staff was so friendly. They had a church service Sunday morning with a church that comes in and that was amazing. The room was very comfortable.

I was scheduled to stay there for two nights. I arrived at the hotel in the evening unloaded my bags and went to look for dinner. Got back, use the bathroom and I noticed a bunch of debris on the floor like maybe food particles. Walking through the hotel room, I saw all kinds of crumbs, some stains on the bathrooms floor, stains in the living area. The countertop, when I was placing my things on the countertop, I noticed the surface had all kinds of food that was stuck to the countertop so it wasn’t cleaned off. But at that point I was thinking “OK it’s kinda late, I’ll just ask for a different room tomorrow morning. When I went to pull the sheet over to lay down, I found blood stain on the sheet. I wiped up the spot on the floor, it had changed my white Kleenex to red. Or a reddish brown. At that point, I decided the next morning I would just leave and go find a different place. The management was excellent, and he asked “what would you like me to do? I can move you to another room.” I said “I think the problem is that if I get another room, it’ll be just getting the he same thing. That point I told him I prefer just to leave. Give me the refund for the day I haven’t used and he was very happy to do that. In regards to breakfast, he offered me breakfast and I thought to myself “if my room is so dirty, somewhere public, then how dirty is it in a place that no one can see like the kitchen? so I opted not to eat there.

They are under construction so everything isnt just yet 100% however the rooms are already updated, and the scenery is great. Breakfast is better than most and equipped with a made to order omelet station. Staff was exceptional. Hands down the most kind and welcoming staff i may have ever come accross through decades of travel. I would absolutely stay again regardless of construction.

I relied on hotels.com reviews to choose this hotel and was beyond disappointed. There is no one at the hotel that answers the phone. The voicemail sounds foreign, doesn’t mention the hotel’s name or even that it’s a business phone line. I attempted to call several times to make them aware that we’d be coming in late that evening to no avail. Eventually I sent a message through this app and they responded the next day, after check-in. When we arrived late at night, the doors were locked and the hotel phone in the foyer to call the front desk went to that same foreign voicemail, unanswered. We banged on the doors and eventually someone came to the door and helped us with checking in. The hotel has thin floors, walls, stairwells and handrails. Suspicious people walking the halls late at night didn’t make me feel safe. The room has a bad odor and hall and room carpets need vacuuming desperately. The bathroom sink leaks from the pipe underneath onto the carpet contributing to the musty, moldy odor. Breakfast was ok. After this experience, I checked reviews on other at for this hotel and they were poor, not as hotels.com depicted it. Please remove this from your service! Or ensure that reviews are truly real!

I always review hotels based upon the rate I paid compared to the quality of the stay. This hotel far exceeded my expectations considering the rate I paid. It was not 5 Star - but it also was not a 5 Star rate. The bed was comfortable, the shower was hot and the room was clean and safe. The staff was pleasant and provided adequate service. I have paid triple the rate at other hotels in this area and had terrible experiences. I would stay at this property again - highly recommend.

The front desk receptionist was friendly and knowledgeable, the room was clean, upgraded bathroom. Nice outdoors to walk around with our dog.

The first day my husband and I went to breakfast, we found a cockroach in the breakfast area, right where the waffles are made. It was disgusting. We couldn't eat at all, so we missed out on breakfast during our entire stay. The staff is friendly, but due to the lack of hygiene, we will never return.

I’ve been to more than 500 hotel in my lifetime and the is hands down the ABSOLUTE WORST!! The room was so musty I couldn’t sleep. After being in the road for an entire day I came back to the same musty room not cleaned! ZERO STARS FOR THIS PLACE! HORRIBLE!

I truly enjoyed my stay here. I had to stay for a business trip. The staff here made everything so accommodating for me. It felt like home . I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to the savannah area

I booked a stay here for my mother-in-law while she was traveling. She said the place was so great. To round out her overnight stay, she had an amazing omelet for breakfast before getting back on the road.

The guy who makes the omelettes is excellent and very welcoming.

Didn’t go to the pool because of the weather and because of all the smoking of weed

The front desk staff were pleasant. The room smelled bad. The sheets and pillow cases had a mildew smell. The bathroom was dated and tile grout was grungy. The AC wouldn’t cool the room until thermostat was turned down to 61 and then took about 5 hrs to get it to comfortable level.

No shower doors, curtain, or lip. After driving 9 hours I wanted a shower. Flooded the whole bathroom floor. Had to pack up and move to another room. The room should have been out of service.

I had a great stay here. The staff were super welcoming and went out of their way to help whenever I needed something. The room was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed. The location made it really easy to get around, and I actually looked forward to coming back to the hotel at the end of the day. This was a great experience. The restaurant was good also. Food was different. Staff was Amazing. Even though they are under construction, they provided notes to let you know. I cannot wait to see the finished product.

The location and hotel were good, however they did not wash cloths for some reason, which was an inconvenience. Instead guests had to use hand towels.

Remodeling was taking place but noise was minimal. Staff was excellent. One of our rooms had an issue with the lock not working. They tried fixing it and was unable. They immediately got us another room.

Susie at front desk was beyond kind and friendly. Mid-renovation in many areas, was probably real nice, could be great again! Average room upgrades and cleanliness. No weird smells but people do love to get high everywhere apparently. Breakfast was a hard pass. Coffee was undrinkable, rubber eggs and sausage patties grilled over a tire fire? Can’t screw up a waffle luckily (and packets of Nutella!!) The bagel was good, 3 cereal choices, instant oatmeal and toast. Carton juice is the same as a machine. The breakfast space will be a ballroom someday?

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel in Savannah! The service was excellent, and I really appreciated the complimentary earphones and 24-hour coffee. The rooms were spotless, and the breakfast was absolutely delicious. The surrounding area was peaceful and perfect for a morning or evening walk. Highly recommend for a relaxing and comfortable stay!
