It feels like a home not a hotel . Absolutely amazing views and when you walk out of your back door you are on the beach . When walking in and out you see beautiful plants and fountains . Just lovely We loved everything

Beautiful property but when its chilly or raining there is NOTHING for kids to do. The pool is very cold. Seniors or couples with no kids would be fine but unless the weather is perfectly sunny and warm, can be tricky with children. The spa and gym are nice and the food is great. Service is lovely and entire property is clean and well maintained.

The resort was nice but not enough dining options. They dont accept credit cards in any of the restaurants or shops. It was cold when we eent we tried to go into the outdoor jacuzzi but the water temperature in it was just luke warm and noone was around to adjust it, additionally there was very little entertainment..and any music was over by 7:00...too early.

Our room was exactly as described and pictured, with a bedroom, living room/TV area and kitchenette. It was extremely well-laid out, comfortable and provisioned. The king bed was extremely comfortable and the maid service was excellent. We ate dinner at the beautiful elevated dining room "in the round" on the evening of our arrival. The food was excellent and the service was very personable but efficient. We ate breakfast at that restaurant each morning of our 3 day stay and again found both the food and service to be excellent. The view of the Atlantic from that restaurant was absolutely amazing, as was our morning walk along the beach. All in all, this was nearly the overall best facility we have ever stayed at, second only to the Plaza in NYC, where we were lucky enough to stay in an executive suite (thanks to an IBM awards stay).

Stayed here over Labor Day bc of a Mayo Clinic procedure. The place was perfect. Room was incredible. Staff friendly. Not overwhelming in size. Pool was right out my door with a few more feet to get to the beach. We will be back next year.

This property is somewhat dated, it is time for a more modern ambience. Also at the rates they are charging you would think they could install a decent coffee machine in the room , think Nespresso which is found in every other high end hotel we stay in. We do not appreciate being charged $35.00 for valet parking especially when we did not use it. We have a problem with hotels charging for parking when there is inadequate self parking available.

The Lodge at Ponte Verde Beach is THE BEST beach vacation location I have ever had! The Staff were ALL excellent, the Lodge is BEAUTIFUL, the food was great, the beach was a shell collectors paradise, my room was fit for a Queen! DEFINITELY returning next September!!

I was very disappointed once I saw our room. It was my Wife’s birthday and I wanted to surprise her with a gorgeous ocean front suite. On Expedia the Lodge and Club Resort was advertised as a ocean from property. When we arrive to the suite it was a pool outside of our suite then the Ocean. Had that been mentioned in the advertisement I would have never booked it. I wanted to look outside and see the Ocean as our first and only scenery. We were looking a people walking around the pool all day rather then the direct ocean view. I feel like the advertisement of our suite was false and not true to what it was. For that price I feel like we deserve better. My Wife always dreamed of staying in a suite viewing the Ocean front and nothing else. We envision looking left and looking right and seeing nothing but ocean coast. We seen the resort pool as our immediate view it was a distraction to the ocean view. This experience ruined my wife’s birthday as it was supposed to be a surprise we had to keep closing our curtains because of so much traffic coming past our window from the resort pool area. It was frustrating.

I would say the only thing missing for me was somewhere to be able to grab a quick snack or drink when needed. Maybe a vending machine or even just a better stock of candy, chips, granola bars, etc. in the store.

Our stay at the Lodge at Ponte Vedra was amazing. The food was delicious and waking up to the ocean view was magical. The staff was so sweet. I had dealings with Robert and Curtis and they couldn’t be more friendly, helpful and accommodating. The breakfasts were delicious and the dinner at the Seahorse Grill was amazing (a little pricey) and the service superb. The only thing that I wish was we could’ve stayed longer. Thank you for a wonderful family trip!

All members of the staff are exceptionally courteous and willing to help (even more rare and valuable these days!). Stayed in a larger suite/room, which was very nice and comfortable. Had breakfast everyday on-site:good food and setting. Good gym right across the road, but gets busy with the club members. Minuses: very nice bathroom but the low-flow shower head was a downer. The beach chairs are older and are not very comfortable (extra cost too). The beach rental shop was often unattended so it would take time and effort to find someone.

Don’t go for yoga at the lodge. Also don’t go if you enjoy watching entertainment at the end of the night. No HBO and no smart tv options. Everything was very expensive while there! I ordered an espresso martini and was charged $30! A chicken Caesar salad was also $30. Overall I would go again but only if using points. Things were a bit dated and old school…big roach when I walked in bathroom but not too surprising in FL. It don’t know if worth $400 a night.

I ordered an espresso martini and was charged $30! A chicken Caesar salad was also $30. Overall I would go again but only if using points. Things were a bit dated and old school…big roach when I walked in bathroom but not too surprising in FL. It don’t know if worth $400 a night.

I stumbled across this property on expedia while driving south in FL. We were so lucky to find this place. I almost don’t want to tell anyone about it since I’d like to keep it to myself. The service, rooms and food were 5 . I’ve never stayed at a property where they treated you this nice.

The oceanfront room was so beautiful and well maintained! It was elegantly decorated for Christmas and the staff at hotel and outdoor restaurant were outstanding!!

We were pleasantly surprised by their enormous live Christmas tree in the lobby and a beautifully set up breakfast with Santa. We had our granddaughter with us and it made our stay even more perfect.

It was amazing! Beautiful beach that wasn’t at all crowded. Excellent food and the service was superb! They made everything easy. All we had to do was get there and they did the rest!

And then to top it off, at checkout I was charged $200 more than the rate quoted by Expedia which was blamed on a technical glitch. Really? I wonder how many people don’t notice this glitch. In short, you’ve now been forewarned. Don’t stay here.

One stop for everything you need and more - on premises restaurant at the Lodge was so good that we skipped going out for dinner. Ask for Erick, he will hook you up strong!!!

The staff was over the top - extremely friendly and helpful! Valet, front desk, housekeeping and restaurant - I’ve never encountered so many great employees in one location! The room was beautiful and clean, and breakfast at the Sea Grill was amazing! I wish I had a longer stay to take part in the outdoor activities they hosted!

Staff was great, room was clean and updated, view of the ocean was amazing. We traveled with two littles, so the only down side was that some of the ladies (and kiddos) at the kids pool were snotty/rude. My guess is those were just locals who were club members (and pay to use the amenities), not really something that the resort could control, as that can happen pretty much any where you go.

This was an excellent place to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary. Beautiful view and so relaxing.

The down side is that the pools are disappointing size wise and they charged us for Beach Chairs and Umbrella's. There were only 3 of us, but to have to pay nearly $100 to sit on a chair at the Beach is ridiculous in regards to how much the resort cost to stay at. Just seemed a little greedy to me.

What a gorgeous place! Loved the ground level room for easy beach and pool access. Had stayed in another section of the Ponte Vedra resort before and this one was equally nice. Definitely needed more than 1 plug in the room, but otherwise it was just heavenly. Great service, friendly staff and lots of fun activities

Road construction was challenging. Traffic was heavy due to the Memorial Day Weekend.
