You will pay 390$ on top of what you paid on Expedia they have hidden fees. There was a roach crawling around the breakfast room. so we didn’t want to eat breakfast anymore mid stay. You are forced to pay 36$ amenity fee and I was told if I didn’t use them I wouldn’t be charged when I checked in and was still charged even though I didn’t use any other than the valet.

From the location to the staff to the cleanliness; it was all of the highest caliber. Nothing

This is one of my all time favorite properties to stay at. Amenities and staff are wonderful. Property very clean and extremely relaxing! I have stayed here several times while renovations were being done in my house and didn’t want to leave! Highly recommend!

Property was nice and clean, the one bedroom suite was huge for a hotel! I left some things in my room and it’s been a little over a week and still haven’t herd back after filing a report.

I like the view and the ease access to the beach. The studio was very comfortable and clean. I didn’t like that the parking is not included.

Great location, great price, friendly staff. Only little things, they ran out of scrambled eggs for breakfast buffet but didn’t seem concerned about replacing them. Staff seemed stretched thin at dinner service was a bit slow.

We came early from 24 hour driving and front desk let us check in earlier, All staff is wonderful, kid friendly we will be back next August. Thank you all again.

worst break fast you could get , cheap mattresses in the rooms , extremely expensive with un explained fees , the cheapest coffee in the world .

The staff was amazing, they checked in with me to make sure I had everything I needed or wanted. The onsite free breakfast was staffed by the friendliest people.

It also needs to be replaced. That was kind of scary.

Breakfast ok. Eggs didnt taste like real eggs though. Room has several issues needing fixed and they did. Not much to do around hotel. Beach ok. Not the greatest I've been to. Worst was checkout when i was told i owed 297.99, for "destination fee daily" which i had Not known anything about it. 35.00 plus 2 different taxes each day i was there. Very disappointed in this not being a big notice on my booking as i never would have stayed there.

Hotel kept trying to charge me for stuff I didn't buy. Two small in area to get up the stairs everybody congregates around the front desk that's where the only elevator is to get to your room you have to go right through there. The doors were heavy couldn't move my balcony door in the bedroom front door was hard to get through the buttons were broke. Perfect place for a personal retreat. Quiet beach, beautiful scenery and in good distance from key shops and restaurants. The staff was super friendly and helpful. I will definitely go back.

First solo trip & would 10/10 recommend! It’s close & convenient to Lauderdale by the Sea. From valet being so friendly to front desk staff being friendly & kind to the restaurant staff being nice! I mean quite literally everything was so great to experience. They offer a lot of amenities at this resort (get the wristband) I was actually surprised. I loved my time in Pompano & will definitely be returning to Residence Inn for my stay. The only downside is the people staying in the room next to me were kind of loud/ignorant. I don’t fault the resort for rude guests - but it kind of seemed like the walls were paper thin at times 😅 overall great experience though!

Although we very much enjoyed the destination and amenities, the staff absolutely made us want to come back. We plan annual girls trips to Pompano but this was our first hotel stay. We 100% will be visiting again and now plan to stay twice a year. All because of how kind, efficient, and energetic the staff were. Thank you so much for a memorable stay!

Mandatory Valet parking $34 and the valet employee don’t even help you with luggage. Rooms are really bad condition. They gave me room 607 where the AC was making noise and the rug was all wet plus sofa looks so old. Then they move to 604 which it was ok compared to the other one, even though the dryer doesn’t work. For the price of this property I will have stay in a better place. The staff never try to accommodate or offer a discount. Really bad service

Nicole and entire front staff were great. Pool is on the small side but still enjoyable. Great food at the restaurant, a little pricey and there seems to be more food runners than wait staff? We waited a while each time for our food. Rooms were very spacious and clean. Would stay again.

Valet only parking was a little annoying but mostly efficient. Restaurant and bar on site were nice especially by the pool...get the chicken quesadilla. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Beach access was super easy and is a nice location. Overall a good stay and would come back.

Everything was mostly great. Rooms are huge!!& you won’t get that many other places. Beach right on the hotel. Only complaint is that the restaurant service is super slow and sometimes ppl don’t come up to you when you sit. Also our tv in our room had a hard time working first world problems, otherwise highly recommend!!

Flooring needs to be updated! Well scuffed flooring makes this place look a little run down. Pool area was great. Staff was friendly and helpful. Location didnt have easy accessibility to other dining options. We attended to pool aroebic and yoga - both were fun. They stop restocking breakfast at about 30 minutes before close of breakfast, so theres not much left 15 min before breakfast ends!

It was alright for a guys weekend trip. But the food in the restaurant was not the greatest. The breakfast can’t complain much for being free. But it could have better options. Staff were friendly and room was clean.

Beachfront! Great views of gorgeous beach, great laying out beachside. All staff very friendly & helpful. Different Buffett breakfast every morning. Restaurant onsite excellent food you can eat Oceanside! Lg Pool area, rooms full refrigerator and stove top with all dishes to cook, washer & Dryer in rm! Rooms clean, hotel very tropical. Definitely relaxing enjoyable stay plus Lg. Dog friendly. A true gem

The staff at the hotel were beyond incredible! They were helpful, always smiling and a pleasure to deal with. They went above and beyond to make this a wonderful vacation for our group. Loved the pool and beach. Breakfast was mediocre and the cot was uncomfortable. The rooms are large, but the setup is odd. There's a bed in the kitchen area!

My only other problem was that you have to pay for parking nightly and This never makes sense to me because I’m paying to stay and there’s no where else to park. You may as well include it in the nightly rate.

Did have a hot tub and pool and in the beach. The elevators were constantly breaking which was not acceptable on a weekend especially we both have health issues and that was not acceptable to me. Also charged resort fees when they said it was in the price I already paid so the took them off however then took away the benefits of free bikes and $20 back daily if u charge to room for food ect at their restaurant which I had already did which had to go on my credit card I used for a deposit I could have just paid if they hadn’t told me that. Could not get anything back from Expedia either. Really not happy after this trip

During our family mini vacation we experienced the uncomfortable matter. On our stay two days in the roll Friday and Saturday the cleaning room service walked in our room well I was taking a shower. My husband was taking my 21-year-old shower and the other bathroom. My sister was sitting in the sofa and the cleaning lady came in his started changing making the beds and cleaning the room like nothing. It is a round 4:45 between the hours of four and five I asked her why she’s inside the room when we’re in the room and she says she had to clean the room because she goes home at a certain time. I was in naked in a towel, and my boy was naked in a towel with my husband. She kept cleaning like if we weren’t in the suite ST experience that I didn’t understand why we had the cleaning lady clean while we were in the room taking showers getting ready to go out to dinner never my entire life. I am 64 my husband 63. My sister is 56. My son is 21 with Disability autism non-thank God he did not understand there was someone in the room while he was getting dressed unbelievable and it was a stranger cause she doesn’t know my son we’re from New Jersey. That’s the only thing I didn’t like now the other one concern issue they cleaned the room I guess because we told the front desk they left the garbage in the kitchen two days. Of course I have to cook something for my son special diet. That’s the expanse other than that the pool, the service on the beach valet service was phenomenal!

What a quaint upscale feel to a chain hotel experience. The beach view had a private beach entrance. Patio had a cool vibe. Staff was outstanding. The front desk was more than helpful and (Grandma) the breakfast lady had me feeling great every morning. You must check this place out

Because there is nothing in walking distance around it for food etc. or night life so the in-house restaurant and free breakfast is a plus for that reason but they not open everyday(restaurant only)... Including all the amenities I love: 1. full kitchen 2. washing machine & dryer 3. work station & more. Everyday the friendly cleaning staff made sure I had fresh linen for my bed & clean towels. There was free breakfast every morning. Throughout the day there was a resteraunt with delicious food & drinks. The Residence INN location is also minutes away from local food/shopping centers & places to eat. If you're looking for a beachfront hotel with a pool, jacuzzi, spacious rooms, & lots of amenities... this is the place to book. You have to pay $34 a day for an aggressive valet that handles your car far from kind!! In the few days I’ve stayed I’ve heard some horror stories & so I Sat one day & watched for myself how they speed over speed bumps aggressively and it all made sense why my tire light has come on since my stay. They are quick to open your door when you pull up at times even when I’m not ready & to even then after they understand I want them to stop trolling me they still stand there! I Pulled up slowly & he’s walking towards me & im trying to keep a distance indicating I’m not ready yet & so I stop a ways back because I wanted to smooch with my wife & I look back over my shoulder this MF is trying to see through the tint waving hello “mad” At times I wanna just go sit in my car & they insist on pulling it out. Once my car is parked why do you still need my key? My guess is to guarantee the Cash Tip & Key exchange everytime (don’t fall for it) If they get into an accident in your car while moving it & hopefully not a bad one! How you gonna explain an accident from someone driving your car that’s not on your policy?? If you’re driving a Rental car then who cares! But your personal car, watch’em!! You have to pay $34 a day for an aggressive valet that handles your car far from kind!! In the few days I’ve stayed I’ve heard some horror stories & so I Sat one day & watched for myself how they speed over speed bumps aggressively and it all made sense why my tire light has come on since my stay. They are quick to open your door when you pull up at times even when I’m not ready & to even then after they understand I want them to stop trolling me they still stand there! I Pulled up slowly & he’s walking towards me & im trying to keep a distance indicating I’m not ready yet & so I stop a ways back because I wanted to smooch with my wife & I look back over my shoulder this MF is trying to see through the tint waving hello “mad” At times I wanna just go sit in my car & they insist on pulling it out. Once my car is parked why do you still need my key? My guess is to guarantee the Cash Tip & Key exchange everytime (don’t fall for it) If they get into an accident in your car while moving it & hopefully not a bad one! How you gonna explain an accident from someone driving your car that’s not on your policy?? If you’re driving a Rental car then who cares! But your personal car, watch’em!! A nice hotel at the beach! Rooms are spacious, with kitchen inside. Very convenient to spend a comfortable time at the beach. Staff is super friendly and attentive. Valet parking personnel are very helpful.

I stayed in many residents in I was never charged 35 plus daily to park my car that was a hidden fee also there was no pots to cook besides that it will not Keep us from from staying at the residence inn there's always a first time or not 100% satisfactory. No pots the hidden parking fees had no choice they should let you know ahead of time that valet parking is the only alternative It will look silly if I park across the street another hotel and had to walk it back to the hotel wouldn't it?

Lovely property felt like home away from home. Mr.Ortiz and staff members were very friendly and welcoming.Zoes beach side grill food was great too definitely the shrimp pesto pasta. The kids and I had a great time, definitely would recommend staying here.

I loved the oceanfront view, the pool was sensational all the time, the soft music that was continuing playing all day by the pool. It was like being in paradise.

We also had complained about sleepless nights due to the noisy AC in our room that sounded like a plane engine. Someone came to check it but no resolution Very disappointing vacation.

I liked the room, it was spacious and clean, also the view is really good. What I didn't like was the beach; you need to pay for chairs, and it is very high up with an uncomfortable slope to get to the water. Also it is very bad when sargassum seaweed exists, as it is virtually everywhere and not cleaned.

Having a washer/dryer in the room was great The sun loungers by the pool need to be updated as many were broken Also needs more sun umbrellas by the pool The beach area should have sun loungers and umbrellas available at more affordable prices

This was our second stay. Affordable, on the beach, ocean view, spacious room. Enjoyed having washer and dryer in our bathroom as well as a kitchenette and balcony. Foldout couch accommodated our 5th person well. Full, hot breakfast. On the city Circuit route to restaurants and local businesses. Quiet location and felt safe.

The breakfast was nice and the landscaping around the resort was beautiful, but the amout of aluminum cans, trash and broken toys I picked up daily on the resorts beach (sand) was awful. We liked the staff at this property. Very friendly. Room was clean and amenities were nice. Free Breakfast is great but choices are repetitive. Coffee only available under 9:30 am. Parking is by Valet service only and is $34 US a day.

Weather was crap but the hotel is awesome and great, friendly staff! Especially the girl at the front desk. Not sure of her name, super bubbly and friendly. Always greeted every time back and forth from upstairs to down.

Hotel was very roomy and daily cleaning services were great! However, the beach was not so great, too much seaweed and very small sloppy sand areas. The Pompano beach isn’t really what I would prefer. The Deerfield or Boca Raton beaches would be much better! I’d pay a little more and stay near those beaches for a week long family vacation. Also, you need a car there as you can’t really walk to various restaurants. Also, we loved shopping at the Sawgrass outlet and the Miami Design District.

Great place to stay if you’re looking for a relaxing vacation. The staff is very friendly and is always willing to answer any questions you may have.

Rooms were extra spacious which we loved being a fam of five. Staff was great! Bar and free breakfast were amazing! Pool was a little small but clean. Honestly the only thing was they were always out of pools towels.

Love the space of the room but was not of a fan of all the property fees! the parking fee alone was expensive per day. I thought i had paid everything thru my booking with expedia and was upset i had to dish more money once i was there!

Nice hotel, The hotel is clean, nice friendly staff cleaned every day. Nice view from the balcony to the ocean. Large rooms. I didn't like the breakfast, there are no vegetables at all, bread and eggs, very small selection and not tasty, sorry. And don't rent a rover, or be prepared that you will be charged for them during the week. If you are not picky about food, the hotel is good, I recommend it!

What I like about the property is the hospitality and the warm welcoming from the staff. What I like that is unique about this property is that it offers a lot of different amenities and the room where I was staying I had access to the kitchen and the laundry room, which was very convenient for our needs.

Nicole and the other guest service and staff at pool was awesome and they allowed us to do a late check out at last minute. They were awesome!

Pool closes while still sunny out. Forced out of area and locked out leaving no outdoor areas to enjoy after 730pm.

Room was good and a good size, the cooling system was too loud as was the refrigerator. Also a “lip” in the shower in closure that you could hit your head

The property location is superb with beach access to the Pompano Beach. The staff customer service was top-tier, providing pure excellence and prompt response. They were able to assist me and I was able to check in early. My son didn’t want to leave and they provided a late checkout which was perfect. I truly enjoyed celebrating my birthday weekend there and I look forward to visiting again soon. Overall, I give the property an eight out of 10 It being a little out-dated with the appliances and decor and the doors were not very secure. I had to close it several times because it was stuck. I was on the highest floor and upon my arrival it was a little humid in the room, but I do blame the Florida summer heat. They were able to send someone up while we were out and by the time we returned the room temperature was just the way we needed it to be.

This place is great. Staff super! I didnt give it 5 stars because of hidden fees. I stayed here 2 times now. Last time booked tbru Hotels.com. In their price the say rate includes all taxes and fees. Thats not exactly true. That price is not all you pay. There are various charges not accounted for. A parking fee of $35 a nite. I dobt know if this happens elsewhere but they put a $500 hold on the card you booked for amenities that takes days to be refunded if you spend under that amount. The parking fees should just be included in the rate thats advertised and not sneakily added. Original bill was $1540, got to front desk and then it was $1570. Then with incidentals, which i did buy, parking fees totaled $1944.99. There is fine print when you book that says there could be other fees but when the 3rd party books it and says taxes and fees included in advertised rate, just include everything but the incedentals! It caught many by surprise. Marriotts final bill is very confusing as well. Almost like they are trying to jide something. It was a great time, great place and the staff is amazing. However, there are hidden fees. Please be aware of it.

I can say the valet and the people at the reception were exceptional, but the manager didn’t do his work properly or professionally. Our first issue was that the room smelled really musty and the sofa and sheets had stains. The air conditioning was making a load noise all night and the room was not cool enough. Our other incident was at the beach. We were playing music and dancing and they came to make us turn it off because it was bothering two ladies. Even though everyone else around us was enjoying the music and having a great time like us as well. I think the manager should have looked at both sides before coming to us. The breakfast wasn’t good either. The eggs were undercooked and the sausage and bacon overcooked. The food at the pool was really good. But we always felt like management was

Our favorite beach place in FL. Staff goes above and beyond to make sure you have a great trip - kudos to Tricia and the Front Desk staff for all they do. Rooms are huge, clean and comfortable. Free breakfast is excellent and a nice extra. Pool and jacuzzi are great and the beach is phenomenal. The hotel is clean and modern without being pretentious. Highly recommend!

Was nice and big and clean, staff including valets were great. One downfall is the walls are like paper thing so you hear everything. This morning for example at 5:55am there was a truck backing up with loud beeping for at least 10-15 minutes, followed by a bunch of noise,

What stood out was the service. Everyone was helpful and friendly: the front desk, food servers, cleaning crew, valet, everyone. The guys on the beach setting up lounge chairs, taking food and drink orders, were great. The hotel was clean and the room was clean. The fitness center was spacious and had everything you would need. The cons: valet is like $30/day, and there is a $35/day destination fee. I knew this when I booked but it’s still ridiculous. The breakfast is free but the eggs were runny, no waffles or pancakes, no potatoes. I had dinner the first night at the restaurant and the food was just ok. We ordered Uber eats the rest of the time and took advantage of the kitchen. I did order a piña colada that was delicious! The pool is medium sized and usually felt crowded. The jacuzzi was cold the two times we checked. We went for the beach, so none of this mattered to me and my teenage daughter. We walked to the pier and that is where we found one surf shop and ice cream. There were a few restaurants there too. We walked on the sand so it felt like 2 miles even though the map said 1 mile. It was a nice walk though. There is nothing close to the hotel except other hotels. Overall we enjoyed our stay. If I take a trip with just my daughter, I would stay here again. If my husband and son were to go, I probably would not stay here because of the food and smaller pool area.

the manager was very helpful but I did have 3 days and nights bubbles were coming out of toilet and wetting floor. I had people pounding at my door at passed 10pm, yelling open up!! Front desk asked me if i called room service!!! Did not get access to bike offered by hotel, no one knew how it worked. Do not think I will return next year.
