Le Cabanon Motel

We really enjoyed our stay here. You can beat the location right on the beach and walking distance from some great restaurants and spots. It’s a small hotel which I really appreciate. The couple who run it were super friendly and helpful with recommendations. It may be our new spot for getting away. If I could think of any changes. I wish the room had a ceiling fan and the soap could’ve been better but if that’s the worst I can come up with I’d say it was perfect for us!

The owners were wonderful. We had a great view of the beach which was just steps away from our room. We were within walking distance of restaurants. While dated, the room, pool and patio were all very clean. We would stay again and recommend to anyone looking for a quiet beach stay.

In a quiet atmosphere, the hotel is located on the beach. All very clean . you have an exclusive parking for a car the room is comfortable and clean with air conditioning the girl who tevrecibebes very attentive and friendly is near the pier where you find many restaurants and places to have fun

Staff were very accommodating to our unexpected late arrival. Room was clean and comfortable, with a great patio area. On the beach, there were chairs and umbrellas available for use if you needed them. Beds are a little hard if that’s something that bothers you, but I’ve never been to a hotel where they weren’t!

I would like to than you for the wonderful hospitality and the excellent experience this past weekend. It is definitely a peaceful place to enjoy the beach and very conveniently located. Thank you

This is a 60’s era mom and pop beach motel! It’s right on the beach with beach access directly from the pool deck! Lovely manager who loves to talk! We are regulars here and love the old Florida vibe!

The motel was exactly what we wanted and exceeded our expectations. It was on the beach, a stones throw to restaurants, bars and convenient stores and had fantastic stretch of boardwalk/sidewalk for morning exercise. The owners are wonderful, offering a good morning and asking how things were with the room. We are looking into a longer stay at this lovely motel. Thank you for two wonderful nights/days in Pompano, FL.🌹

While the furnishings were old, they were well taken care of and the room was clean and the walk in shower was fantastic. The room had a mini frig. coffee maker and lots of space as well as a bistro table with two chairs which made it great to order a pizza delivered and eat in the room. While I did not use the pool as it was too cold, it did look inviting. The managers were present and friendly and if I had any need they were there to address them. I loved the direct beach access and this place is right next to a beach front park that is amazing. At the other end of the park is a number of great restaurants and shops. If I'm ever in Pompano Beach again I would stay here, it was perfect.

The little motel is nestled among large condo buildings, but it is a hidden gem. It is on the beach and our room faced the water which is what we wanted, but now we know we could have gotten the other rooms and have enjoyed them as well. The managers were super nice and helpful.

Our room and the emite property was very clean and well maintained. We prefer this type of experience to a large commercial hotel, much cozier and homey! As I said, we will definitely return to this motel on Pompano Beach!!!

For a visit to Pompano Beach, Le Cabanon is a gem. Small, clean, modern, comfortable. Great pool and deck right on the beach. Exceptional hosts. I won't stay anywhere else.

If you're over 18 and looking for a quiet, layed back place on the ocean, this is an ideal spot. The host, Miya, was awesome and the motel has a retro 50's / 60's feel to it with modern bathrooms. Pool and grounds are well taken care of and it's a short walk to nice places to eat. I highly recommend this to anyone.

Our room was much larger than we expected, and laid out well and nicely appointed. The property is right on the beach and the pool and deck area are lovely. I highly recommend Le Cabanon!

The place is quiet, and beautiful. Everything is immaculate. They give you everything you need. Even let you borrow beach chairs and umbrellas! Beach towels provided, as well as all the coffee, and toiletries for your stay. Please book a stay here! You will not be sorry. The only downside, is we had to leave the property to smoke, but im sure we are the minority here. Close walking distance to the pier, and many restaurants!

You can see the lighthouse from the upper deck. This is a 9 room motel. There is a grill and picnic tables on the deck, and there are many lounge chairs around the pool. They supply beach towels.

We specifically picked this motel -type as it is retro (50’s-60’s) & therefore minimal guests (only 9 rooms). It has a nice pool & right on the beach. They cater to an older crowd (no one under 18) which keeps it quiet. Maya & her husband manage the facility & are very accommodating. Hope to make it back next year.

The staff is excellent, very welcoming on our arrival they even asked if we needed help with our luggage which is very rare. Every time we ran into them we would chat for a few minutes it was very nice to have such a good experience! Will be back again.

What a fabulous little throw back. Quiet and comfortable 50’s style bungalow surrounded by the roar of the city and ocean. Nothing like it in Pompano Beach. Staff was awesome and had everything you need. Highly recommend

Although I did have issues with the AC, Beth offered us another room so that we would not be inconvenienced. As for the room, it was great as it had an ocean view and full kitchen. All in all, Le Cabanon is a great value and good time!

The property is located within walking distance to Pompano Pier which has nice restaurants. It is a nice facility right on the ocean. The drawback to this nice facility is the front office staff. The woman was more concerned about telling us about the “rules” than about welcoming us! If we had not prepaid for our stay, we would have left. The shower in our room had mold all around it, which was pretty disgusting. I really don’t understand why the hotel would hire someone with an attitude! The property falls into the hospitality industry and she was not hospitable at all!

LeCabanon is the perfect little place to stay on the beach! Quiet and well kept. The management, Phil and Beth were very kind and helpful. They were always asking if we had everything we need. Le Cabanon is not "new", so if you are looking for "new" this is not your place. If you are looking for a "local gem" with quiet accommodations, nice pool deck, steps away from the beach, and plenty of dining options nearby this is your place. Spent three nights at this motel and it was fantastic. Our room had a kitchenette which we used all three mornings for breakfast - very convenient. Steps away from the Pompano Beach Pier and all of the local dining areas - many of which are outstanding. Parking was super convenient, and the on-site staff was very friendly and accommodating. There are some house rules to remember regarding guests, parking, pool use etc - all easy to read and understand before you make your reservation. These rules are what helped make our stay much more enjoyable than what we would have experienced at a much larger resort or property. This place was great! The area is fantastic. We plan to return in the near future to this same property. Many thanks to Beth and Phil - they were great on-site managers.

If you are looking for a "local gem" with quiet accommodations, nice pool deck, steps away from the beach, and plenty of dining options nearby this is your place. Spent three nights at this motel and it was fantastic. Our room had a kitchenette which we used all three mornings for breakfast - very convenient. Steps away from the Pompano Beach Pier and all of the local dining areas - many of which are outstanding. Parking was super convenient, and the on-site staff was very friendly and accommodating. There are some house rules to remember regarding guests, parking, pool use etc - all easy to read and understand before you make your reservation. These rules are what helped make our stay much more enjoyable than what we would have experienced at a much larger resort or property. This place was great! The area is fantastic. We plan to return in the near future to this same property. Many thanks to Beth and Phil - they were great on-site managers.

The location of the hotel is excellent but lacked service. I felt uncomfortable making any request. The office staff should not work in a customer service industry.

Beautiful views with great access to the beach. Room was comfortable and the location was great with access to shopping and dining within walking distance.

While a spectacular location, the bed is a rock, takes 10 minutes to get hot water and they never make up your room. When getting new towels, they even make you bring the old ones back first - kind of like prison.

Not a good first impression. Mentioned to Beth the manager that we were expecting the old managers Chris and David. She called them Fags. Unreal. Had bad things to say about the current guests. She dropped some F bombs. Wish I would have checked the recent reviews. The negative ones are very accurate. It just got worse from there. Had to fight for beach towels, bath towels,etc. tried to throw us out at 8:30 one night by the pool as they thought we were visitors. Phil worked hard at maintenance Will Beth worked hard at gaslighting. Others guests expressed that they felt they were “walking on eggshells.”

My daughter and I just got back from our girl trip together to celebrate her turning 18!! This place was so nice and relaxing.. steps from the beach and a short walk to pier for food!! Would definitely book again!! Thanks for making our trip fun and sun filled!!

Flew to Florida to find out when we got to the motel that they had canceled our reservation. Woman working seemed like she couldn’t give less of a hoot about our situation and then proceeded to curse at my grandmother. Manager claimed he didn’t care where we stayed but we couldn’t stay here, then lied and said it was because we were under age, when their website clearly states 18 and over. We were 20 and they didn’t even know our ages until after they turned us away. Awful experience, ruined our entire trip. Never even said sorry for the inconvenience.

There are rules and if you take the time to read them beforehand you won’t be surprised that you can’t smoke on the property, have a multi-generational reunion (no visitors) and no one under 18 (thank God) But if you want to kick back, relax and be on the beach, this is it. We had a little kitchenette with a fridge, stove and microwave and you’d think I could get my wife to cook everyday on vacation but Nooooooooooo. 😂 It was nice to have that for beer and warming up leftovers. We bought a few things at the store (had them delivered and walked once) and that was fine. It truly pains me to say the place is nice because it’ll always be busy but I’d go back in a heartbeat. Thanks Beth and Phil!

We were more than pleasantly surprised by the uniqueness of the LeCabanon! Located directly on the ocean and with just 9 units, convenient parking in front, it was something you just don’t see anymore. Beth and Phillip were always readily available and maintain the motel impeccably. We loved the adults only, no pets and no smoking which again lends to the uniqueness. February was our first trip to the LeCabanon and we were so pleased with the cleanliness and great location to restaurants that we booked a week for the end of March before we left!

We liked the nostalgic feel of the property as it was built in the 1950’s. Unfortunately, the staff(husband and wife) did not make us feel welcomed, very abrupt with us at times. The location was excellent. Unfortunately our experiences with the staff was so unpleasant we won’t be returning.

We really enjoyed our 2 night stay at this little gem. We stayed in a lovely room with an ocean view and a kitchenette. The room was very clean and had everything we needed. The property is small, quiet and right on the beach. Short walk to restaurants and the Pompano Pier. Pool area was lovely with lots of chairs and great views. If you're looking for a quiet, relaxing getaway we would highly recommend Le Cabanon.

The motel is in an ideal location, right on the beach and within walking distance of many restaurants, shops, etc. The management is not the friendliest, and seemed like they were inconvenienced if you needed anything. I felt that one cereal/ice cream bowl was not sufficient for 2 people. A request for another bowl was met with a look/comment as if it was an unreasonable ask. The woman manager did provide me with some paper bowls (though a bit grudgingly) and later Phil did bring by a second glass bowl. The next day I was admonished for not placing a lounge chair back to its correct spot, the managers seemed very concerned with chairs being moved a few feet and commented at different times to different guests about chair placement. Our room had a kitchenette, fridge, microwave, and toaster. But we were told our unit had no can opener though it had a corkscrew. Hard to open a tuna can without a can opener. Bed was comfortable, A/C worked fine. Very quiet and the other guests were very pleasant. Some mold in the shower, along the bottom of the door and in the corners. Could be a really cute place but given the management we would probably stay elsewhere if we returned to the area.

Great place. You can't get better than on the beach. Walking distance to several nice restaurants. Room was clean, staff was friendly and helpful. Can't wait to return.

Three nights weren't enough. We loved our stay at Le Cabanon.

Perfect for what we needed. Clean room directly on the beach. No traffic just the other guest staying there. Very quiet, friendly, and gorgeous! Everything you needed to snack and sleep in the room. Beach chairs to carry down to the beach. Walking distance to pier, marina, shops, quick food and nice sit down restaurants. Uber was able to get in and out in seconda. 25 mins from airport. Just perfect! Can’t wait to go back!

I loved that it is on the beach and walking distance to restaurants. Beautiful property. The owners are great. Loved that no one under 18 is allowed. Peaceful and relaxing vacation. Definitely would stay again.

Woke up every morning to an ocean beach front view, and ended each evening with a glass a wine watching the surf and sunset. Beach front access for morning and evening strolls, lifeguards on duty during the day on the beach. Friendly attentive staff, nice amenities, lovely pool over looking the beach. Easy access off A1A, quiet evenings and sleep time.

My hubby was freaked out by the big hairball that was hanging in the shower lol and he said it was and odd shaped toilet lol it wouldn't quite flush everything down and he had to sit sideways because it was kind of an odd space. Don't let our review deterr you from visiting because it truly is an awesome spot. Carrie S.

The customer service rep was very rude. This hotel is for occupants 18 years and older, but it wasn’t clear on the reservation site. We were actually the 2nd family that day they turned away for the same reason. The customer service rep stated we would get a full refund and would cancel our reservation, however, when we called hotels.com to get the refund, the motel had actually checked us in. Our refund has been delayed by at least 10 days because of this.
