Great property. Helpful staff. Parking may be tricky when busy.

Clean and quiet.

The place is super dated for the price. The microwaves look like they’re from the early 2000s. The lobby is nice and promising but once you get to the rooms they’re extremely depressing. You can find a better deal somewhere else and the place was very dead. It feels lifeless.
- 4/5
Although the property was being refurbished during our stay, it was barely noticeable. It was clean and pleasant. The only downside was that our AC did not work, and due to the holiday there were no other rooms available. The staff was great and apologized for the inconvenience. The Manager was also very helpful and refunded the cost of our stay. I would definitely give them another chance. They have great customer service and pride in the property.

Staff and location are always excellent, thank you!
- 5/5
Great and easy place to stay at Cal Poly. I wish their restaurant operated on the weekends. It doesn't. Currently the pool and spa are under renovation which should be posted on all reservation pages
- 5/5
Clean and quiet.
- 3/5
My family and I stayed here hoping to use the pool since we came with our son, but when checking in the receptionist let us know that pool was under maintenance till further notice. We noticed that they are remodeling all the rooms and that would've been nice to know prior to booking.
- 4/5
Room was dated but clean. Main issue was that we lost power one day and the heat worked inconsistently. It’s a beautiful campus though and was very quiet during the winter break.
- 4/5
Clean room, comfy bed. Hot water mysteriously not avaliable on 2nd night. Cable TV was a little sketchy.
- 5/5
Great campus hotel run by students, which gives it a unique and authentic university atmosphere. It’s very quiet, located on top of a hill next to a small forest. Everything is walkable and there are several good restaurants nearby. Excellent value for the money.
- 4/5
Large room, very clean, friendly and helpful staff. Only two issues, if you can call them that, is that the pillows are very firm and the water pressure could be better.
- 4/5
The room is clean. The staff are courteous.
- 5/5
La habitación muy limpia. El personal muy amables. Lo único que no tienen servicio de comida.
- 4/5

Hotel card key machine was not working. I was unable to get a key to my room at all. A person had to open the room for me and just to not get locked out, I had to leave my door propped open.
- 1/5
Parking was too far from hotel room, and the room was not handicap accessible as there was 2 sets of stairs to go down to get to room and then back up 2 sets of stairs to get to vehicle which was a block away from hotel room.
- 5/5
Parking was easy. Room was clean. Staff receptionist was pleasant. The only disappointment we had was the difficulty in finding the property. The address on the website is not correct. It is not along W. Temple Ave. Lucky we found a police officer who gave us the correct direction. Please update the address on the website or give a correct direction to the property.

Evan at the front desk was kind and friendly….at 1am!! Cool place.
- 5/5
Wonderful, clean, awesome balcony, beautiful area feel like you’re in the woods. Super friendly staff.
- 1/5
Expedia reservation did not go through as it was not found in hotel's system. I will be disputing charge with credit card company to get fully refunded.
- 5/5
The front desk staff were very friendly and efficient. The room was clean I noticed the lower level of Woodside no longer smelled musty. Looking forward to staying at one of the renovated rooms when they open.

Good value

Staff was great!
- 1/5
Hotel was dirty, old, and the main hotel was being renovated so they placed us in this side building, which had offices for the campus. Additionally, me and my partner reserved a bedroom with a king size bed but were given two twin beds instead...
- 1/5
David at the front desk was amazing and very helpful how ever the pictures on the app are not the same as what you get small rooms dirty beds no toilet paper we were not even in the same building as shown on line we were there for 30 min before checking out
- 3/5
I was given an unclean room and had to switch rooms. TV reception not good. Frustrating as the World Series was on. The conference room was freezing cold even though it was warm outside. Coffee was lukewarm for the Continental breakfast. Bed was comfortable. Convenient to have hotel with Conference.
- 4/5
Loved that it is run by student and its on campus.
- 5/5
Front desk was friendly and hospitable. Room was clean and serene. View of the woods. Very safe area. Will come back again.
- 2/5
Difficult to get to. Unclear directions. Old rooms with old furniture and TV which barely worked. Old beds and barely any bed covers. AC was so loud. Very much underwhelming experience. Not worth the price per night!
- 5/5
Great staff, quiet place, easy parking. Perfect
- 4/5
Like being on campus.
- 5/5
Very friendly check in staff and clean room!
- 1/5
There was not any indication that the pool was under construction—including the front desk and hallways. The only way we found out is while trying to start our four nights of swimming for many reasons—the door was locked with a small sign that said ‘construction.’
- 5/5
Friendly staff. Clean rooms. Right on campus. Love all the trees. As of now, the rooms are not the updated rooms and the pool & fitness center are closed for renovation.
- 2/5
Never got housekeeping even though I was told they serviced room daily AND i specifically requested it when they did not show up the first day. This MOTEL was so loud I didn’t get more than a couple hours the second night due to a large group on my floor with screaming, jumping kids and their music coming on at 4 am
- 4/5
Convenient for school but in the midst of construction
- 3/5
My room was filled with spider webs on ceiling. The restroom sink was dusty
- 5/5
Great

I have stayed here several times because our daughter is attending Cal Poly and it's very convenient. Although the staff is generally good, the condition of the property is not. I understand it's old and I can deal with that. What I have an issue with is the cleanliness of the rooms. The last time I stayed there the sheets were stained. Ants and other insects were in the room... gross! The property has great potential but needs a full remodel and a fine tuning of room cleaning. Also, if you're an out of state parent paying top dollar tuition, shouldn't there be a hotel discount? Little things to take it to the next level...
- 5/5
Great, close to the university
- 5/5
Neat hotel property located on Cal Poly Pomona Campus. Clean, private and peaceful.
- 3/5
Older facilities, but nice rooms overall. Beds were quite comfortable. The carpets in the rooms are a little on the funky side, but not offensively so. Staffed by students, some of whom were terrific - attentive, kind, conscientious - but others were truly clueless and seemed not really to care much about guests
- 5/5
Everyone was so nice! Older building but perfect for us 1/2 of what I’ve paid to stay other places. Right next to the college that our daughter attends.

- 4/5
Convenient and quiet and safe place to drop off students to Cal Poly Pomona! Staff was very nice and the place is really nice!
- 3/5
It was nice to stay on campus but the bedding was not great and the shower took 15 minutes to get hot. We were given basically a sheet for bedding. It was a good produce but it seemed old
- 5/5
The beds are really comfortable. AC is very quiet and works really well. Very convenient short walk to the CPP campus.
- 5/5
Beautiful location
- 5/5
Overall this hotel is a great place to stay.

I graduated from CalPoly over 30 years ago. It was nice to see the campus again.

Best hotel !
- 4/5
We stayed at 241. All clean and staffs are super nice. There were some ants and spiders in the room but it was okay overall.
- 5/5
Overall, the property is noce. I enjoy my stay everytime i visit.
- 5/5
Lovely lobby and host was so kind especially when the key wasn’t working
- 3/5
Bugs in the shower, cockroaches near entrance of buildings, but friendly staff.
- 5/5
This hotel was very nice and very clean. I felt safe and comfortable the entire time.
- 3/5
The staff was wonderful, the setting beautiful, but I was not aware the area where the beautiful pool and Jacuzzi pictured were was under construction. Dreams of a lovely soak in the spa didn't happen. As an alumni of Cal Poly, I know you can do better.
- 4/5
It is being remodeled. Quiet, safe clean enough but not that clean as there was a dark spider on the ceiling once light in room was turned on. Hotel setting is great and in a park-like setting. Check-in was quick and instruction to room was confusing. Check out was quick and easy. Will stay again once remodel is done hopefully in 2-3 months
- 3/5
The hotel was under renovation and the pool was not useable. We did not know this when we booked the room
- 4/5
Nice rooms and extremely convenient if you are visiting Cal Poly Pamona
- 5/5
This hotel is located within the university campus, surrounded by trees and beautiful scenery. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, even when we checked in at midnight. It's a fantastic place for a conference or a relaxing weekend—at times, it feels like you're in the middle of a forest. Highly recommended. A+++ — I’ll definitely stay here again.
- 5/5
On campus, convenient location for CPP orientation and visits
- 5/5
Drive to restaurants, easy freeway access, very quiet!
- 4/5
Quiet and secluded. Wish could have enjoyed it longer.
- 5/5
Newly renovated bathroom. Clean and quiet.
- 3/5
I was on the bottom floor and it smelled a little dank and moldy, and the floor moldings in the bathroom were separating from the wall. They need to dehumidify the bottom floor and upgrade the mo moldings. Location is good, but the room is average at best.
- 4/5
Convenient location to assist move-out of dorm. Prepaid for stay but was charged a balance upon check-in. Rectified the confusion next day as balance due was incorrect.
- 5/5
Very close to graduation! Made the graduation a breeze.
- 5/5
Guests consistently praise the hotel’s tranquil environment, surrounded by lush greenery and natural beauty. The location provides a quiet atmosphere, making it an ideal spot for relaxation or focused work.
- 3/5
room was not clean and very dated. staff did not provide accurate directions to my room.
- 3/5
Reception great, location of room at night hard to find. Balcony had no view due to large over grown bushes in front of it. Tv had issues with little channels and I was told it would be fixed the next day.
- 5/5
Beautiful- Serene! Balcony and trees! I felt like I was on a real vacation! Highly recommend
- 2/5
old and outdated
- 3/5
Él the area is beautiful the bad thing about it is that I’ve never received my deposit from las time I checked in
- 5/5
All very nice!
- 5/5
Excellent and prompt service from staff. Beautiful property and clean, cozy room. Only concern is my particular balcony was shared with the next door neighbors; which in retrospect could be a perk. Overall great experience.
- 5/5
Great staff! Though, the price can fluctuate widely.
- 5/5
Super comfortable with nice rooms and friendly staff. Great if you're staying over for an event.
- 1/5
First. NO pool! But not for me to complain. Now the reason to complain is because I had packed my belongings for an early exit to get in front of your heavy LA traffic morning rush. As I packed my first half and went to load my truck I was locked out my room for room card not working. No biggie til I realized not one person was available to help me get in my room. Had to sleep in my car while I paid for a room. Attempted to call over 4/5 times and called the line extension #2222 and not a soul to help. I paid for no access after the lock out. Had the worst experience because I was unable to access any person to help with a new card. Why? Why is it so hard to access a rep to help w a faulty card that is supposed be tested before they give them. Not only did I sleep in my car. I needed my second half of items that were in the room locked but I missed my nearly meeting at work and was unable to get to my job and meeting. I was told to just take the day off. Feel this hotel needs a solution for this problem but neglected to give me the answer. I was told refund of the night and full stay are good cards from the beginning bbb.

Great location on the Cal Poly Pomona campus
- 3/5
It's a beautiful area and the staff was AMAZING and honestly the best part of our stay. The room itself was clean and in good condition but the bathroom door was dreadful. Whoever thought a barn door style would be the best option should be fired. There was a massive gap and the door never closed all the way....so you could basically hear everything. Also, it's not a quiet door and when closed at 3 am for privacy, it sounds like someone is trying to get into your room. That door gets 1 out of 5 stars. Another thing the property should maybe consider is to not have rooms where it can take up to 10 minutes for hot water to be present. Our initial room was one of these rooms but luckily we were able to switch.
- 5/5
Great stay, thank you!
- 5/5
A clean and safe place for business and a quite night's sleep. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Free parking was great. (Close to the room as well)
- 2/5
Checking in and getting to the room worked pretty well and the room seemed pretty clean, so that was good. Less good was it that the TV and the remote control did not want to cooperate, there were no duve (only a thin blanket) which made it less comfy as the night was cold, and in the morning there were no hot water in the shower which was very annoying.
- 4/5
If you need a quit place that’s the hotel for you
- 2/5
Don't be fooled. This is a 2 star hotel cosplaying as a 3 star. You can tell it's incredibly outdated and offers the same nightly rates as new 3 star hotels down the street. This place is in dire need of a serious renovation.
- 5/5
Very quite!
- 5/5
Easy communication with friendly front desk clerks. Really appreciate how easy it was to book and get assistance to a later check in. I’ve lived in Pomona before and never knew this place was built. Definitely will come back when I’m traveling back down to visit family.
- 5/5
Great stay!
- 3/5
I came to Pomona to attend the NCAA division 2 women's soccer Elite 8. I chose this hotel since it was close to the college. I didn't realize that the hotel is actually on the campus property; and I took public transportation here. Fortunately they had a campus shuttle bus that took me all the way up to the hotel. Not too many amenities, and choices to eat. Since it's on the campus, most of the places to eat closes at 4:00. Nothing is open on weekends; including the shuttle. I had to do a lot of walking; mostly uphill. Unless you're doing business at the university, and have a vehicle; I don't recommend staying at this hotel. I also had to call Lyft to get me back to the airport.
- 5/5
The showers were to small
- 5/5
We stayed here to see our Daughter play in the D2 Volleyball Regionals tournament. It was great. Amazing wildlife everyday and night. Beautiful campus. Only problem was I was overcharged. I paid at the hotel, the price quoted And Expedia charged me an extra 238.00 and their website and helplines are useless. Hopefully someone from Expedia reads this!
- 3/5
Just OK !
- 5/5
I have a slight mobility issue and my room was at the bottom of a difficult staircase from the disabled parking or a rather long hike from the disabled parking near the lobby. I did indicate this at the reception desk but they didn’t offer a more accessible room even though the facility was not even close to being fully occupied.
- 1/5
Expedia had a glitch and resulted in the property wanting to double charge me. Room was in an un lit area of the property, lack of parking and parking area was very dark with little light. Lack of modern appliances and room set-up. Room had connected balcony with room next door and also inside the room had a shared door with the room. Many pests insect wise were in the room and the bed was very uncomfortable. Only basic cable was available and the smart tv didn't have the wifi on the property connected. Was not provided wifi information and lack of trash cans on entire property. Property claims to be a hotel but it is in fact motel style with rooms outside not kept inside. stairs for rooms very steep.
- 5/5
Our check in staff member was EXCELLENT. He showed a real pride of responsibility, thorough and pleasant. We will be back. Thank you
- 4/5
This is a great place to stay if you are visiting Cal Poly Pomona. A portion of the property including the rec facilities is being renovated. It is nice & quiet over the weekend. The Sugar Rush Cafe, a 5 min drive away, is tecommended for breakfast.
- 5/5
Place is a little hard to find, but once you do you will appreciate the peace and quiet. Staff is very friendly and helpful.
- 4/5
The staff are very helpful and polite. The rooms are spacious and nice. The cleanliness of the room however is where things could be improved.
- 5/5
Quick walk from the center of campus - though uphill - but very enjoyable stay.
- 4/5
GOOD
- 3/5
The property is under going major renovation and we got to experience that noise at 6:00am in the morning. If the hotel will remain open during renovation, they should be clear to the guest about this.
