Room was a bit small, but perfect for a solo traveler. Clean, quiet, safe and close to some restaurants and the freeway.

Gang symbols in room. Paint wasn't consistent. Dents in walls. Chair at desk was ripped. Only thing that was decent....bed was clean. And a/c worked.

Free parking Fridge and microwave included. A/C thermostat Very flat pillows, no sheet under quilt, thin towels, baseboard floors dirty. Trash cans overflowing with litter and debris strewn about. Very dirty.

The parking lot was filthy, trash containers were always full. I asked for a roll of bathroom tissue, they didn't have any in stock, the manger sent his little son to an empty room and retrieve one. I will never stay there again, and will never recomend friends or family to stay there.

This property should be dissolved. Staff specific to the main manager, who refused to give his name, he is extremely unprofessional, rude, and disrespectful. There is a deposit to rent at the place, this management will give any excuse to keep your deposit. The building is lazily unkeep. Management speaks english spanish as well as his born language. However, it seems he intentionally use English with a thick accent making communication extremely hard. Constantly on watch to see who visits the room and even harass your vistor. There is discrimination and possible fraud practices that are practiced.trash outside roaches inside all trash cans are full unprofessional management check.

The room was clean but could use a fresh coat of paint. I was somewhat surprised by the lack of usual items such as facial tissues and drinking glasses. All things considered, I would stay there again.

Exactly what I wanted and expected for a quick one night stay , given that I was passing through. Hosts were fine, quickly got my keycard . Wifi was good and not a problem in terms of parking. Walking distance from a large grocery store and a gas pump right next to it. Also walking distance from a Starbucks. Nothing really.

It's worth the price, think of motel 6 but cheaper condition, yet, it comes with fridge and microwave which you don't even get in some legacy cheap motel. I would stay here again. And security deposit is cheaper too. Wifi is not good, but big screen TV and shower room is awesome. Right by super market and Starbucks

My first night was a total emergency. I jumped online & from start to me my room was less than 10 minutes. The staff was friendly. Overall I was pleasantly surprised at cleanliness, quite, friendly. Rented a room for 2 days. It didnt get cleaned. It was underequipped with essentials. The towels were hand towel size. The floor was not clean.

It was actually a lot nicer than I was expecting. The remodel touches that have been done look great. I would only suggest maybe changing up the bed comforters to plain white. The one on the bed I had screamed dirty motel even though it was very clean. There is a $40 deposit cash only. Not too bad. Overall I would stay again.

The place was OK and you’ll live with my love, but the staff member who I checked in prior night had a difficult time returning my deposit. He had it in his hands and he didn’t want to return it. He Didn’t want to hand it over and when he handed over, he don’t wanna let go of $40 deposit was Thirsty for $40

A baby was crying on one side all night and early morning and I couldn’t sleep and the other side was two males fighting and I just decided to check out and sleep in my car as I could not rest at all

I had an excellent stay at the Garey Motel. The outside of property was very clean. The room itself was sparkling clean. Check in was fast and easy. The staff was friendly and helpful. I would recommend a stay at the Garey. I stayed on a Friday and Saturday night. So quiet. I had 2 wonderful nights sleep. I plan on staying there again soon.

Did not expect to find a facility like this on Travelocity, I assumed they research the properties they represent.

I would probably say some things do need improving but it's a step in the right direction. When you show up, the motel is closely neighoring a gas station next to it, good for any quick & last minute things. A banner above the office says they changed management as some point. Parking is well-lit to the point that nothing can get by you or sneak up on you, but it is sort of a tight squeeze trying to park. Especially if there's 1 or 2 people who don't know how to park properly. So, not really good for anybody who has a big vehicle. Check-in was pretty quick. Tell them your name, show them ID, sign some stuff, pay a deposit & get your room key. First entering our room, you're greeted with a cigarette smell, like at a casino. It's posted it's non-smoking but it doesn't seem like it's enough to stop some of the people who smoke and stay here from smoking. Hell, saw two females smoking Marijuana in their room with the door open. I can only assume the other rooms are probably the same. I'm thinking one of some factors is this place is very light staffed in order to help enforce the "No Smoking" policy. Our air purifier we brought from home sort of help cut down on the smell (not entirely, but mostly), so we were able to sleep through it. The shower head in the bathroom was broken, along with the trash bins outside the rooms were full for the two nights we stayed. I would probably say if you need a quick place and/or don't care about the smoke smell, this would be for you.

Stayed 4 nights for the week as traveling nurse for Pomona Valley Hospital. Needed temporary place to stay while looking for extended stay accommodation some place nearby hospital. Garey Motel was very convenient as only 0.6 miles to hospital. Hotel management gave me a nice, clean room above their office which was safe for me nearby them in case I needed anything. The room was very clean. Just needed to air out while settling in like any other hotels. As a travel hint: always bring boxes of baking soda to absorb any odors or for faster result any air freshener your choice. I love that the fridge they have was bigger than any other hotels I have been to which allowed me to buy more food for my stay so I can bring to work and also eat inside my hotel room. They also have a microwave for use and nice big size flat screen TV with cable. I would stay again for short stays. There was noise on next door room but only during my first night. I felt safe even traveling solo as I just stayed inside my room not wandering out at night. My room they assIgned was very clean. Love the white stone counter tops of each bedside table and sink. Very comfortable room. No coffee pot, no breakfast, no cups in the room. Bad lighting at the sink. Low water pressure. I received a phone call from the front desk at 9:55 asking me when I was leaving? Check out time is 10:30….duh! Smell of marijuana in the air.

I walked into what felt like a biohazard. There was blood on the light fixture, bugs stuck on the walls, light fixtures missing with holes in the walls and it was very dirty and smelled like an ashtray. Never again and do not recommend.

The lights across the ceiling were interesting. Not that I’ve spent time in hotels but they looked interesting.

Staff was responsive and welcoming. Gave courtesy reminders about check out to avoid late checkout fees. I only wish there was an iron in my room.

I didn't like the fact that it was advertised as a Luxury motel but it was just a old motel with a new paint job

My overall experience here was wonderful I can't complain about any of the service at the front desk not even the guests that were at the hotel everything was up to standard just like they claimed there was very clean everything was new as well as great resources at the desk the only thing I would have to complain this on Expedia sparked the charge should have only been $75 and some change and it was $90 and something on my card there's a huge difference in there and I've had trouble understanding why Expedia with over charge my card

The overall room was not the cleanest. But the areas that mattered like the bed and shower weren't bad. It was the lower areas of the wall that had dirt layers on them. Overall though for its price you get what you pay for and in that regard it was overall not bad. Wifi was good enough to stream shows while we chilled.

I didn’t like that the sheets and towels were dirty, had stains and hairs. Asked them to change the sheets and towels and they were giving me a hard time. Overall bad experience, not very good customer service. I had forgotten my key in side the room and again it was a hassle to get another one. 1 outta 10 don’t recommend.

I like that it's very convenient place. The staff has gotten to recognize me from the few times I've stayed. I get my deposit back right away when I use my card.

I ended up leaving. Sadly I lost out on $100. But I just couldn’t stay there. The people around the area were sketchy. I walked into the room and it smelled like urine, cigarette holes on the sheets and bed. It’s NOTHING like the pictures. There’s a huge sign outside stating it’s under new management and that everything has been updated. Unfortunately not the case. The man in the front for check in felt really bad and was really nice but I just couldn’t stay there. I didn’t feel safe

Horrible stay checking in the man was so rude throwing my card at me because it had no money lying to me saying he didn’t have anymore bottom floor then later in the night around 12am the room next to me has people playing loud music and fighting and I had to call the front desk 3 times just for them to answer and he didn’t want to do anything to help with the noise problem he said if it bothers me that bad I have to call the cops myself which I did but police took 3 and a half hours to come in the end I didn’t fall asleep till 6am because nothing was done and guess what check out was at 10:30

The hotel was renovated and it shows. The owner wants a better clientale and it shows with the improvements. He is also very accommodating.

I never got a chance to see the room , as we arrived they demanded a 200 deposit , even more surprising was when they demanded it in cash at nearly midnight ...my wife and I were tired and exhausted from driving all day only to be turned away ...with what I believe are illegal or at least discourtess treatment from the ones that should have done everything they could to allow my pregnant some comfort and respect

I was at the night window waiting for 30 mins I was tired ! I was about to leave but I needed a place to sleep so I started looking for another room . I was 5 secs from clicking book till this lady came out and checked me in. No good parking at location , hospital a mile down so you do what u want with that information

Not a whole lot to like.. very small and checkout time was really early.

At check in, I expected to pay about $8 (that’s what booking online said). When I got there I was told they needed a $50 deposit. I was not expecting that, they refused to allow me to cancel and refund my money. I was forced to stay there. Unsafe area. Small parking area. DO NOT RECOMMEND!

The room was about 100 degrees when I walked in. The bathroom even hotter. I turned on the AC and not even after 3 hours did it cool down. If your AC sucks then you should at least leave it on to a lower setting. The stay was horrible
