    Yes, the rooftop pool was out of service for two days. No laundry room on premises. Grandchildren very disappointed. My two grandchildren love to swim and besides the beach having another swim option as a part of the hotel amenities was great for them.

    There is no complimentary breakfast as with some hotels. They do however have a buffet style breakfast at cost. I traveled from Philadelphia to Florida with my two grandchildren, booked for 4 nights, 5 days and the first two days for them were miserable because the roof top pool was closed for two days (they’re swimmers). We were told that we could use another hotel’s pool.

    -: we booked a few days prior to arrival, hotel was advertising a beautiful rooftop pool. Upon arrival, we are told that pool is out of service for urgent repair since Sunday. Shuttle service offered to other hotels, but obviously not practical for us at all. Pool was already out of service at time booking, as we booked 2 days later! No mention through email or anything, very disappointing when you book a 3-4 day trip to Southern Florida from Canada…Had to insist for a compensation, received a 100 USD credit to spend at the hotel for 3 nights (16 USD/person/night) which is not much considering price of our stay and the pool being a significant amenity in Florida. A/C didn’t work much at the gym either, very hot. Housekeeping did not come on the last day, only knocking at our door at 5pm to exchange towels. Not a 4 star hotel for sure. Staff was friendly though.

    Room was clean and spacious. The king bed was very comfortable. But the sofa bed was not very comfortable. The bathroom was adequate but the shower was a bit weak. I did not use the pool and gym. But I did go and see them and they looked pretty good.

    I’ve been staying at Sheraton Suites since the 1990s, and one thing I can always count on is the cleanliness of the property and its central, convenient location. Over the years, it has been a reliable place to stay. However, I must say that since the recent renovations, some changes have been less than favorable. The addition of a $12 per night parking fee and an $8 charge for receiving packages feels excessive and takes away from the overall guest experience. During this stay, I was placed at the very end of a long corridor, which made for quite an inconvenient and unpleasant walk—especially compared to previous visits. That said, I do want to highlight that the front desk personnel during this visit were excellent—very professional, welcoming, and helpful. In fact, they stood out even more than my last stay in October 2025. Overall, while the hotel still maintains its cleanliness and prime location, I hope management will reconsider some of these new charges and guest experience decisions moving forward.

    On the check out I forgot some clothes in the room. Called the receptionist the same day to keep them for me. In 4 days I was back in the city and went to the reception desk. Nobody was aware of my forgotten stuff and I didn’t see it again.

    Property is beautiful. A lot of different restaurants and bars in walking distance around the hotel. Crack’d is a breakfast spot that’s just around the corner that has amazing breakfast. Staff is great. I just hate that as much as I stay there they charge $8 for per package that you have delivered there. I’ll use an Amazon locker going forward

    The bathtub was dirty when we checked in. The shower gel dispenser was empty. I noticed a moldy area in the corner by the sinks in the bathroom. The leather chair was torn and wornI called the front desk to notify them of the condition of the room. They offered to change our room but it was 11 PM and we were exhausted from our cross country trip. I asked that the problems be addressed the next morning. I was told the manager would also call me the next day. This did not happen and the condition of the room was never addressed. I have stayed there many times before and this is not the experience I have had in the past. We were busy with my 92 year d mother during the stay, otherwise I would have pursued this situation more aggressively.

    The location was Great ! Surrounded by restaurants. Mall nearby , etc I waited 1 1/2 hours to check in! I arrived at exactly 4pm. I was told that there were no double beds available. Why?? I booked this room a week in advance . Unacceptable! I was in Fort Lauderdale for my daughter’s engagement party , which started at 6pm. We were extremely late because of the delayed check in !! Manger offered an apology to another family that had been waiting but completely disregarded me and my family . There was General manager on duty as well and he didn’t feel it was necessary to speak to me either . The room was old , broken bathroom fixtures , something was on the floor underneath kitchen sink cabinet ( we avoided the area). TV in the bedroom wasn’t working . Apparently, cable box was defective . It was finally changed out late Sunday evening. We were leaving the next morning ( checked in on Saturday evening ). This was the worst experience!! I was offered points and free breakfast. We did not eat anything from this hotel . I will NEVER stay at this hotel again!! The young lady at the desk was nice . However , her kindness didn’t make our stay anymore pleasurable .

    The common spaces were modern and immaculate. The stag was gracious accommodating and kind. The rooms were gorgeous! It’s always small and basic but very clean. I didn’t make use of the pool or Jacuzzi on the rooftop. There was a free shuttle service that went to the mall where I was able to go shopping and there is a you can step through the back entrance of the hotel that has a lot of restaurant and such. I loved my stay I truly felt taken care of while I was here. Thank you Wendy, Brighton and Telisha! This will be my day every time I head to Fort Lauderdale

    Also, when the other guest flushed their toilets we could hear it gurgle in the sinks in our room. The room just appeared to have been cleaned in the dark. It certainly has not had a detailed cleaning in a while as the fixtures, doors, trim, lamps and lampshades were all tacky and caked with dust! But again, if you are not the type of person to notice the finer details in things, this room would be great because the furnishings, decor, and layout seemed well placed. The common areas of the lobby and bar area were exceptionally designed and planned. The front desk and bar tenders were very polite and easy to talk to. The location of the hotel is the best part of this stay as its located in a cute little outside shopping area. The beach is a 20 minute drive. The elevators were gross

    Your staff did an excellent job communicating with guests when the fire alarm went off in the middle of the night. It would be beneficial to have some sort of an intercom system so that elderly guests and guests with young children do not have to evacuate the building in the middle of the night for a non-emergency issue.

I don't eat oatmeal. When I complained the next morning to the front desk they said they would deep clean the room. It wasn't touched.

    The staff really make the stay at this property. Bryton and Chambria were extremely responsive and always helpful. Everyone else I interact with at the reception desk had the same positive attitude. The breakfast is ok. The rooms are spacious but quite old and could use a refresh.

It was New Years Eve, and we could not get into our room to get ready for the plans we had that evening. When we got to our room we had issues: my daughter couldn't open the door going from the bedroom to the bathroom. We didn't have enough towels for the number of guests booked in the room. There was a buildup of dust on the ceiling and vents. So, the air blowing into the room caused my son who has allergies a rough time. We had 2 rooms under my name and both rooms had these issues. Very disappointed with the customer service and accommodations.

    I booked this hotel because of the location and the ability to accommodate 5 people to one suite. However when I arrived at the hotel it seemed pretty updated on the outside, the lobby , the external areas. However when entering the room, the place was atrocious! The carpet dirty, the room neglect and you can tell it was surface level cleaned. The house cleaning staff was lazy and complained everytime we asked her for basic necessities like extra towels or to vacuum while we were out. The rooms are dated, dusty and my mother and I developed sinus infections because of the allergens. I had to go to urgent care one night because of the coughing. I mean the carpet was filthy. I asked to be changed to another room and it was the very same thing. We pulled out the sofa bed and it was disgusting! Hair all over the bed, rice grains and a beer cap on the couch. All those rooms need to be condemned and checked by health authorities. Our trip was basically spoilt because we got sick. And I know it was the hotel because when we would leave for the day we would feel much better, then when we return we would cough all night. I am highly disappointed by the conditions of the property especially the rooms. The front staff was great and accommodating, however one or two of them seemed a bit annoyed to deal with clients who weren’t too happy. I am writing this review while on my flight back home and I am so happy to go back to my house. Most horrible hotel experience I have ever had.

    Staff is pretty cool. I'm normally not a complainer but, my first night there's a water issue in the hotel. Our water was coming out rusty, so bad that it was staining the tub. It eventually subsided the next morning. We weren't able to take a shower that night or brush our teeth. And went downhill from there. We had to call service for towels everyday of the stay.

    I’ve been staying here for nearly thirty years, and this property continues to offer a comfortable and familiar experience. The room was spotless, the bed extremely comfortable, and the restaurant and foyer areas were clean and welcoming. The food in the restaurant was genuinely impressive—fresh, flavorful, and well-presented. Unfortunately, this visit had one disappointing moment. I had several Amazon packages delivered to the hotel, and when I approached Caroline at the front desk for assistance, she seemed uninterested and made little effort to help locate them. At first, I thought it was an isolated situation, but to my surprise, three other guests—staying in separate rooms—shared almost identical experiences with her that same day. Thankfully, Cassandra at the front desk stepped in and went above and beyond to assist me. Her professionalism and genuine care turned the situation around. Ironically, it was later discovered that my package had been mistakenly handed to another guest by Caroline. I only got it back thanks to that guest’s honesty the very morning I was checking out. With the exception of this front desk mix-up, my experience—and that of my traveling companions—was thoroughly enjoyable. The comfort, cleanliness, and service from the rest of the staff remind me why I’ve kept coming back all these years. I’ll definitely stay again.

    The property is nice but hallways and rooms could use updating. The Parking is a disaster and is really the only reason I would not stay there again. The Sheraton is located in a shopping/dining district and the garage for the entire area is shared. There is no other option for parking There are parking spots reserved for the Sheraton guests but the problem is that the garage is down the road from the hotel. The location of the garage makes it difficult for transporting luggage...and I can't imagine if it's raining. There is a small, half circle drop off area but when we arrived, it was full and we had no choice but to go to the garage to park.

    They need a whole new update in all the rooms…been here twice & the 1st time corporate called me because a guest was smoking marijuana in the pool area & the kids couldn’t get in the pool, police responded & corporate asked me to give them a 2nd chance & they would comp me but never did so I did give them a 2nd chance & this time my son got burned because the nozzles for the water have no temperature indicators & he couldn’t see it anyways because the rooms are not kid friendly, hint hint, you know if your a parent…the sinks sit really really high & the toilet seats are all outdated, the rooms smell like mildew as if there was a previous flood of some kind & they attempted to clean it up…to be exact, it smells like a old nursing home that needs a complete revive…another thing I will point out, especially anyone who showers & this is important, the shower gets very very slick as there are no bath mats so please put a towel down in the shower to avoid a hip replacement or serious injuries…another thing I want to point out too, the drapes & curtains in the room are like super old, I’m 46 years old, looks like a hand me down from my high school days…just don’t waste your time & money because your just gonna be frustrated with a really disappointed family…stay safe & blessings to you all

    I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Sheraton Hotel, and I must say, it’s consistently a comfortable experience. The rooms are always clean and well-maintained, which adds to the overall relaxing atmosphere. The staff is friendly and attentive, making sure that every aspect of my stay is enjoyable. However, I do have one suggestion that could enhance the experience even further: I believe the hotel should consider replacing the carpets in the rooms. While they add a cozy touch, I can’t help but feel that they may not be getting the thorough cleaning they need between stays. Switching to hard surface flooring could provide a more hygienic environment and also make it easier to maintain cleanliness. Overall, I highly recommend the Sheraton Hotel for a comfortable and enjoyable stay, with just that one small change in mind!

    The rooms and hallways have a musty/moldy smell. The bathroom in our room had an awful smell. Our room wasn’t cleaned at all one of the days.     I go to down once a month and this is one of the properties I stay at, this time the room smelled like old dirty a/c and I found a couple hairs in the bed sheets abs towels. It didn’t seem as clean and kept up with like it usually does. I love this location because how close it is to everything but the way the room smelled was awful and when I asked if I could switch rooms the guy at the front said he would have someone come and spray something in the room. It didn’t help it was gross.

    Centrally located property with a number of eateries. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The only issue was that I booked with Expedia - under the option it said that the price included breakfast but when I arrived at checking I was told it was not included. Sometimes it is better to book directly.

    I like that when i walked i was greeted and i was given my keys. My privacy was respected. The suite cool. The lotion i tried was really good. About 2 days in row the elevator took 10 to 15 minutes to work. I had to pay for parking but i was not aware that i had to tell staff that i had to return my rental and i would have been charge for days of parking and not the 1 day i was parked there.

    The hotel is located within walking distance of a mall (Broward Mall) and pharmacy (Walgreens). The lobby was clean, and the staff were warm and friendly. The rooms were nice and comfortable; they had ample space but needed minor upgrades - particularly the shower. Overall, it is a very good choice for short or longer term stays.

    the hotel is in a very nice location. Tons of things to do.During our stay the pool was out of service. We had to take the shuttle to the next sister hotel to use the pool. The rooms were clean, but could have been a bit cleaner. its a very outdated hotel. No Free breakfast! its a buffet style breakfast with the bare minimum for $18 per person. Spend your money else where for breakfast. The custumer service was grreat.

    I reservd a King suite, I waited about 10 mins at the counter before I was helped, the cust serv rep told me I would get an upgrade for the wait.Well I didn’t get a upgrade RM818 is a King suite I called the front desk to inquire “No answer!” I went to the front desk to ask about the upgrade the young black male told me my upgrade was from the 2nd floor to the 8th floor in this “UPGRADED” room the shower had numerous hairs on the floor & walls, the ceiling over the bed looked like it would cave in (bubble size) ! Pool wasn’t in service no mention online or in hotel we went to enjoy the pool only to find out no water in the pool. Last but not least as I’m checking out I asked (Cheryl) front desk mgr if I could have the special brown bag they have lined up since I didn’t get one when I checked in, she said oh that’s for our platinum guest but I guess you can have one …it contained a small size water, plain chips and a child’s size fruit gummy bears (For Platinum guest?) I’ve been coming to the Sheraton Suites Plantation for over 20 years never had service/treatment this bad !

    The state was very nice. Had a problem with locating availability of a luggage cart checking out went beyond checkout time had to have an access card re-issued also the towels were not very soft to the touch of the skin had an issue with the showerhead was moved to another room. Other than that my stay was very pleasurable, and I will rebook again.

    This was an amazing suite, very spacious and modern. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The only issue I had was Hotel.com said the deposit for the room was $75 but it was $100 when I arrived and I was prepared for that amount.

    The hotel is in great shape and the redevelopment of the area with shops and restaurants is very nice, but service was disappointing. Front desk was ambivalent, no luggage carts , no bellmen , in the old days you could pull up drop your bags and have them sent to your room and when checking out they would get your bags and take them to the front and help load in card , not really a FULL service hotel

    The property was beautiful. I didn't expect anything less since the Marriott is generally my choice. The only thing i was dissatisfied with was i giving a handicap accessible bathroom / tub without my request. When i shared this with the front desk clerk i was told that was last room available. Not cool. They should have giving me the choice on rather or not i choose to spend my money on the room or not.

    Booked this hotel for a last minute quick stay due to my flight being canceled. The lobby and front desk is amazing but the rooms are just outdated badly. Beds were not comfortable, had a very bad moldy smell also. Good hotel if you need to stay somewhere last minute like I did but i would shop around for others.

    The error was acknowledged by the staff and they tried to assist by providing a letter to my bank. This was resolved after several hours Day 3 No Towels in room, call the front desk was placed on hold however call was never picked up or returned. Stopped by front desk to notify them, towels were in room upon my return later that evening. Room was cleaned but for some reason the bed was made up subpar, not sure why. Day 4 Returned to room and once again bed made up the same way, this time the extra pillow was on the bed which I didn't use. It appeared as though someone was laying in the bed and forgot to return the pillow back to the closet. I informed the front desk and provided the photos of the bed. A package I had been making inquiries about for 2 days and was told several times had not arrived was miraculously found behind the area where packages were kept For the inconvenience of the charges, I was given complimentary pass to the executive area but didn't use as on a few attempts the food wasn't ready or has already finished. I sent an email to the email provided by the front desk and included the pictures of the bed and have not received a response as yet. I am not a fussy person being in the hospitality business for over 20 years but this was not what I expected. i thought an response would have been received by now.
