    large 2 bedroom suite; clean and comfy bed the only thing was that a strong chemical smell (i'm assuming from ac) woke me up; had to leave at 3am, me and my pet dog could not sleep or take the smell any longer (my dog was pacing and panting) and the ac in the closet in one of the bedrooms was super loud; my fiance was the one to check-in and it took quite a while; only one person working front desk

    THE SOFA BED MATRESS HAD HAIR AND FOOD CRUMBS ON IT AS WELL AS THE NIGHT STAND IN ONE OFT HE ROOM. WE WERE ALSO CHARGED A $5.00 TO PAR KOUR CAR FOR THE NGIHT. (THAT FEE WAS WAVIED AFTER MY OBLECTION). THE REASON FOR THIS FEE AS WE WERE TOLD IS THAT MOST HOTELS HAVE VALET PARKING AND THIS IS WHAT THE FEE WAS FOR. THIS PORPERTY AS WELL ANS EVERY PROPERTY IN THIS CITY DO NOT HAVE VALET PARKING.

    Enjoyed the pool. Nice having a kitchen. Shower was great compared to most without doors or with a curtain. Lots of storage. Only queen sized beds. Would not recommend sleeping on sofa bed. Very uncomfortable. Good breakfast. Best looking eggs I’ve seen in a while. Convenient location.

    Sebastian greeted us at the front desk with a friendly hello and excellent, efficient service. Our room was spacious and clean and well appointed. The mattress, pillows and linens were very comfortable. If we had time we would have enjoyed the fire pit! Breakfast was pretty good although it would be nice to have some gluten free options as one of the people in our party is celiac. An added bonus was the restaurant located near the front of the restaurant. Not part of the franchise but absolutely excellent. Nice to have a great choice for evening dining so close to the hotel.

    Hotel staff was rude, was issues to get towels. The phones in the room did not work you had to use your cellphone. If you needed room service or to call the front desk. When it was breakfast, time with their complementary breakfast, you better get there ahead of time. Because the staff will be rushing you to get up. So they could clean the area. Breakfast ends at 9 so you eat and enjoy your coffee without being rushed.

    The AC kept running and I this Residence Inn on the outside didn’t have the look of a quality hotel but it was a little better than li looked. It’s that we were told we were getting a one bedroom with a king bed but throughout the hotel they don’t carry kings beds. We were disappointed again about the bed we paid for, we did not get.

    Only stayed for one night so these issues were easy enough to deal with and not worth switching rooms but as soon as we entered we were taken back by the smell of fish. Was as strong on check out as check in. As I explained to the front desk person on check out, the place was clean just not that well. Found little things not picked up or cleaned as well as a razor blade cover left in shower. Poorly thought out in layout with some things not even being usable given their location and other things like the bedroom door opening into the dresser. The hinge pin for the bathroom door was damaged or missing as the door was off kilter and in able to close and latch unless a great deal of force was applied to force the door closed

    Even better, when we stopped by the breakfast area after it had already closed, Miss Shirley noticed we were hoping to eat. She and Gertrude went back into the kitchen and prepared a small breakfast just for us—warm boiled eggs, bagels, and juices. They didn’t have to do that, but their kindness meant a lot. This has truly been one of the best experiences we’ve had at any Marriott. The hospitality here made us feel right at home.

    Al siguiente dia me retire del hotel a las 10hs , y regrese a las 19hs , y la habitacion estaba "sin hacer" Al otro dia mue queje y la limpiaron. El tercer dia se tapo el inodoro .... y buen ... El miercoles 22 , llegue tarde despues de la medianoche, y la habitacion nuevamente estaba sin hacer , por lo que lleve las toallas a la recepcion a cambiarlas. La señora que me atendio , agarro las toallas ¨con desprecio como si tubieran caca¨, y despues de 15 minutos me las repuso ¨con la misma cara de "asco", como si fuera mi culpa / en conclusion ... desastre total !! / espero que sirva este comentario / saludos. // esa noche habia 2 recepcionistas , la rubis se reia , y la de piel oscura es la dela actitud despereciable. PARA EL OLVIDO !!

    I called the front desk to report the issue, but the staff member I spoke to was very nonchalant and didn’t seem to care. He said he would submit a request for maintenance to check it in the morning, but nothing was ever done. On a positive note, the woman at checkout was very apologetic and understanding. Unfortunately, unless that AC situation is addressed, I wouldn’t stay here again.

    Location was ideal for our purposes. Floor plan of the two bedroom was very nice for a family of 4-6 people. Only issue was the conditions of the living and dining furniture as well as the bathroom. Dining stools were wobbly and sofa arms were loose. Fixtures in the bathroom were rusted and loose. Also, the water came through very hot if you wanted full pressure. Breakfast was hot and a great assortment.

    This was my second time at this property and I was not impressed. The stay started off fine when I arrived a few hours earlier than I had booked and the front desk agent was more than helpful in getting me a room. I appreciated this especially since it was the middle of the night. In the days that followed my room was never cleaned even though I asked for it to be done everyday. I made sure not to put the sticker on my door so that I could receive service. The room attendant came on the day before checkout but only collected towels. The room was not cleaned. The bins were full of garbage and I still had to call for towels to which I was told I can only collect 2 sets. In fact, I had to call the front desk and ask for additional towels everyday. On 2 occasions, I was told how many towels I can get despite that not being enough. This property is in a great location for shopping but the service only started off good.

    After noticing on the second day that the room was not cleaned, I called the front desk every early the following morning requesting that the room be cleaned. I was assured that it will be completed. Once again, after returning to the room at 4pm - we met the room in the same state! I immediately went in person to the front desk agent and was given an excuse that was unacceptable and once again told that it will be done. We went back out for an outing and returned after 8pm to the same. I am very disappointed, this may be my last time staying at this property.

    This hotel has rooms that are perfect for longer stays. The space included a separate bedroom for sleeping along with a full living room and kitchen. I only stayed one evening and was overwhelmed by how nice my room was. I will definitely be staying there again when I prepare to cruise out of Ft. Lauderdale.

    The breakfast was satisfactory, and the property was clean. However, the staff requires training in hospitality. During breakfast, I experienced poor service from an elderly lady, and a cleaning staff member was rude in the morning. Additionally, the front desk attendant who worked the late-night shift on March 29th was also very rude. These individuals could benefit from further training or may want to consider other employment opportunities.

Both of us could watch TV together (or separately) whenever we wished (sometimes i stayed up late and wife needed to sleep early); the pool was warm and totally clean (noticed was cleaned daily in early AM); and the breakfast with fresh waffles (you make them in 2.5 minutes yourself!) fresh fruit, salad, scrambled eggs and bacon or other lunchmeats, and toasted bread, bagels, butter, cream cheese, etc., as much or little as desired...all was great!! Not to mention the staff and clientelle was both varied and friendly. All in all a great place to stay with abundant shopping and restaurants nearby, and several nice large parks, too.

    No real effort to welcome us when we arrived, put me on endless hold when I called to ask if there was a safe in the room. Receptionist seemed unaware of where anything was in the hotel. Pull out bed was most uncomfortable I have ever seen and was unusable. Overall we had a very poor experience at this hotel.

    TOILET LID WAS BROKEN IN 1 BATHROOM. PHONE DIDNT WORK IN BEDROOM. COUCH WAS EXTREMELY UNCOMFORTABLE. TRIED TO CHECK IN A LITTLE EARLY AND THE STAFF GOT SNARKY WITH ME. OTHER THAN THAT EVERYTHING WAS FINE

    Older looking property than maybe what we would normally book however spotlessly clean and probably one of the best 'free' breakfasts we've had. I'd have no hesitation in staying again if I was looking for somewhere in that area.

    We enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The staff was very attentive and helpful, which we really appreciated. However, the cleanliness could have been better. Additionally, even though the rooms are non-smoking, there was occasionally a noticeable smell of marijuana coming from some of the rooms. Overall, it was a decent experience, but there’s definitely room for improvement."

    -Great pool & hot tub, both kept at great temps -sport court for kids -Awesome breakfast, they really put effort into keeping everything stocked and different hot choices every day -Check-in desk clerk was VERY nice -Plenty of USB charging ports in the room -nice little kitchen with PLENTY of cooking and eating utensils. -very comfy master bed -easy parking -cool fire pit (when they turned it on) -great location close to everything -free afternoon cookies in the lobby -24 hour coffee/tea bar, which is awesome Grows: -kinda smallish for a one bedroom suite -pull-out couch bed was REALLY uncomfortable -pool towels were scarce, had to go to front desk to get them, most front desk staff were good about handing out towels, but woman working the late afternoon on New Years Eve was obnoxious about having to hand towels to guests -We had a BIG ant problem in the room. Dozens and dozens. Told front desk and they sent maintenance man to spray, he didn't do a great job. I spent $8 at a local supermarket, bought a can of raid, dumped the whole thing before we went out one day, then we didn't see them again. -Gym equipment was in good working order, but constantly out of cups/cleaning wipes/and towels in the gym. No tissues there either. -NEEDS TO BE FIXED ASAP: They got a local homeless guy who comes to sleep on the property in the lounge chairs or in a breezeway when it rains... there is NO way they don't know about this. They have to be proactive and chase him away.

    We apparently was not allowed any extra pillows, blankets, or towels. Check in Michelle was very rude and asking me why I'm there. That's not her business nor her place to ask me that because I said for what I paid I can't have more towels, blankets, or pillows seriously.

    We use this Residence Inn every time we visit family and friends in the Fort Lauderdale area. It is close to the expressways and shopping. A ton of restaurants close by. There is no restaurant in the hotel but they offer free breakfast buffet of eggs, bacon, cereal, breakfast breads, juices, and coffee. And it's pet friendly!!!

    I would never go back to this hotel unless Marriott replaced the staff with some professional and hospitable staff…. Ok so I’m a guy in a wheelchair and as I checked in the lady at the front desk was very dull and she lies miss aryhel is the name she said was her name because I couldn’t see her name tag because I’m in a wheelchair and the counter she is behind was blocking me from seeing her figure I wasn’t greeted I had to be like “HI HELLO” and she just stared at me like she didn’t want be at work she didn’t give me no information about the hotel I had to go online to find out more about the hotel like breakfast hours, pool hours, etc she made my stay poor and to the manager Miss Michelle you need to do better because from I saw your energy I knew what to expect from the other staff very poor and unprofessional and to Miss Kiyomi I want to say thank you because you are the only one at that front desk that had professionalism and hospitality thank you for being better than the rest I am a Marriott Bonvoy member so I am a bit acquainted with with some of its hotels this hotel was a nice hotel and nice property but those staff are not it first and probably last time unless there’s a change

    The site was conveniently located within walking distance of a variety of stores. The Complimentary Breakfast served daily was unbelievable; the selection and quality were commendable. The only issue I had during my stay was the condition of the iron. The tip of the metal plate was broken off and the sharp edges snagged my gown during use.

    The rooms are very spacious to accommodate a family with separate bedrooms. The breakfast is hot and fresh, different varieties daily. The hotel is clean on the inside and outside. Very quiet area.

    I had a great stay here. The room was very nice and the hotel is located in the area I like to stay near highway and university. Very easy to get around. Room was bottom floor building 2 next to elevator equipment which had a hum to it when operating. Not a big deal and that’s really only critique. Otherwise it was perfect and I’ll try to stay here again when price is right.

    Great spacious rooms, big bathroom. Breakfast is good in USA Standart. Big and equipped kitchen in our unit. Sofa bad not so comfortable and room cleaning was only upon request. 5 dollars a day for parking is another small disadvantage. Overall recommended
