Once I checked in and tried to shower, they body wash not not filled to they gave me bars of soap which if lucky got through the shower . After alerting the front desk about the body was not being filled it took them 2 days to final get it filled House keeping cannot fiill the shampoo or body wash only maintenance but they were short because 1 maintenance was on vacation for 2 weeks. Also put in for a wake up call and did not get the wake up call at all and then tried again and the call came in 30 minutes late. Then you pay for the room being cleaned and all they do is empty trash and replace towels On the third day thats when they change the sheets, they don't even straighten the bed up on the other 2 days, what are you paying for nothing it seems like

Good hotel if you plan to be out and about most of the time. It has the basics without any frills.

It’s not worth the price. The staff, particularly the lady at night was not friendly in answering your questions. I asked about internet and she gave me a strange answer. Also the rooms were smelly. I was there for 1 night but will never ever book there.

The property was clean and so was the hotel. The staff was very friendly. The breakfast was not bad. My only critique is that I wanted to try and check in about an hour early and they were gonna charge me $30. I could deal without the nickel dime stuff. Otherwise, it was good.

Of course, if you know where to look, you can find ice machines on most or perhaps all floors, but it would make sense to have ice at breakfast since the drinks are not terribly cold. No one at front desk at check-in (8:30PM). I had to wait about 5 minutes for someone to come. No check-out confirmation at checkout (admittedly 4AM, but the guy still should have given me something). They claim to provide housekeeping only every 3 days, but they seem to come daily. That sounds good if you want more frequent service but if you don't, remember to hang the do not disturb sign on the doorknob.

I guess you get what you pay for. The entire hotel sort of feels like a "landlord special" where things seem to be "modernized" by just painting over old paint, rigging things in a pretty unprofessional way, and just overall just old. Staff was great, and the maintenance guy even left a full spray bottle for us to help with the smell... but it just didn't cut it.

There was a sanitary issue in the bathroom. When I brought this to their attention, they offered to install disability equipment to correct the unhealthy problem with the bathroom. It was an attempt at a band-aid fix for a health issue and I declined. They moved me to a less desirable room.

Everything was ok except for the cleaning of rooms. We can understand not changing sheets everyday but not making beds everyday is unacceptable. This is not an airbnb.

It was clean and in a good location. The hotel was surrounded by dozens of muscovy ducks that laid their eggs everywhere so be careful walking outside as they're very territorial. On the fence about it being over $100 a night as it was very basic and outdated.

Only the location and I have to mention the *only* redeeming quality of that hotel: a lady who works at breakfast. She is kind, smiling, helpful, and attentive. She is the best thing about this place. The administrative or front-desk staff is terrible—rude and ill-mannered. The same goes for the cleaning staff, and don't even get me started on the gentleman who works at breakfast. We will never stay at that hotel again.

Considering it was a last minute, cheap stay it was actually more comfortable than the more expensive brand hotel we used for the rest of our trip. The only issue was we had a double room and the mattresses were night and day different, one hard as the floor and the other sink in soft. There were also individuals making transactions right in the halls at ridiculous hours… but they weren’t loud or disruptive to anyone else on the floor so we ignored it.

I decided to book with La quinta because my last booking with the hotel was great. However, my experience at La Quinta 8101 Peters Road was horrible. The hotel desperately need renovations. The beds were hard and having back issues I could literally feel the springs in the mattress. I had booked for 3 nights but had to cancel on the first night due to the deteriorating infrastructure. The athroom had no shower gel and the furniture in the room was ricketty. I am extemely disappointed as I lost monies due to changing hotels. I hope the company realistically upgrade this location as the price charged does not reflect the standard given.

Place is extremely run down, ive stayed there a few times over the years and it had dramatically changed. It feels like a sketchy motel , pretty sure there were some ladies of the night working out of the rooms. If you need a bed, ac, bathroom and cheap, then staying is fine but your not wanting to stay there for vacation or with your family.

The rooms are not very new, but they are clean, comfortable, and convenient. The breakfast is standard: omelets, yogurt, toast, turkey burgers, waffles, and oranges. There were a couple of things that surprised me. When I asked for forks, I was charged $0.25 per cutlery set, and cash was not accepted for this small charge. In my opinion, basic items like cutlery should be provided complimentary to hotel guests. Also, I checked out on my birthday, and no one said “Happy Birthday” or even a simple “goodbye.” Maybe that is just a personal detail, but small gestures like that help build a warmer relationship with guests and make the hotel feel more welcoming. Overall, the hotel is clean, convenient, and well-located, but the guest experience could be improved with a little more attention to small hospitality details.

I needed to stay in proximity to the hospital because my toddler had a procedure scheduled. Here’s why the entire Here's why I’ll give it a true 2/10. - Although there’s nothing they can really do about the building structure itself there is one elevator. If you aren’t staying at one of the front or middle rooms expect a lengthy walk. There’s also the smell of feet on the rugs mixed with their timed air fresheners. - The WiFi never connected. Never, the entire stay. Enough said. - The television kept going out saying it couldn’t find the signal and something about the antenna. My toddler was miserable. No TV nor WIFI to at least keep him entertained. - I needed to contact the hospital the phone lines were out for the two days. Unacceptable. My son’s procedure was of grave importance. - They stated that they clean rooms every 3 days.. yet housekeeping took towels without replacing them the day after. - The breakfast was mid. Sausages salty, waffles, juice, yogurt, tea and coffee. I checked out and went to another hotel. I couldn’t believe it. I sent an email, I’ve yet to get a response. It’s not worth it. Any of it.

Great place to stay. Friendly and helpful staff, a free ride program anywhere as long within its a certain proximity of the hotel. My only critique would be the $45USD surcharge for an early check in. I was not aware of this prior to booking but aside from that great choice and value.

I had a terrible 1 week at this hotel. Receptionists, Dee and Karla, were very rude, unprofessional, and negative. They were very discriminative. Marie, the manager, was never reachable. I didn't have hot water to take shower and I stayed at a suite by paying more. I got sick due to cold water. Internet didn't work. WIFI at the hotel has problems. I couldn't work on my laptop and couldn't use streaming services on TV. When I complained about these issues, they acted like I was making it up and they were unaware of the problems. Later, another staff member told me that they knew about these issues. The carpet in the room was very dirty. It was a connecting room so I could hear everything, even a sneeze or cough, next door. I felt very uncomfortable. I stayed at 235. The only thing that was good was the bed. It was comfortable, and the pillows were comfy. Also, you can walk to Publix and nail salon. Laundry is $3 for washer and $3 for dryer which is expensive.

The Staff were very nice . Dee and Lisa was wonderful.I called Lisa the shining girl because she was always cleaning . About the first floor where we come in and have breakfast need to be more clean . The area in the breakfast floor was constantly duty and the hall way in the first floor smell so bad. Thank you god we were in the third floor.

Restricting animals

The bedroom didn’t have heat extractor/air ventilation especially around the toilet area, meaning when you use the toilet, you’ll have to endure the smell. I’m not sure if this is the case for all the rooms but that was the case with room #115. Also, I’d recommend they vary the breakfast they serve. For the entire four days I spent there with my family, it was just the same breakfast. Varieties will always be appreciated.

Everything was great but the wifi. Wifi is not good at all. And for some reason I got no signal cell phone in the room I have Verizon never have a problem. Everywhere else in the hotel signal was good even in the hallway but as soon as I walked into the room nothing which wouldn't be a problem if the wifi was good. Very disappointing. Other than that no complaints. I enjoyed my stay.

The hotel was very clean, and the staff, for the most part, were very friendly and helpful. What was bad was that our bed had a huge dip in the middle of the mattress, like part of the support under it was broken. I asked to change rooms, but I wanted one that was right by the door, and the one available would have cost more. We were there for two weeks, so I think something could have been done about the mattress and box spring- they could have traded it out. The other issue that was unacceptable was that the internet was out for a week and a few days. They kept telling us they did not know when it would be fixed. How is that even possible? I was there for business, and I couldn't conduct my business from the room. On the very last day, as we were leaving, I heard a staff member talking to someone in the lobby, and he said that they would get a better reception in the lobby. This was never told to us. This was a disappointing visit.

What was unique was having to pay for toothpaste and toothbrush then I realized I didn't need it but they would not refund. Housekeeping ignoring the do not disturb sign. I found a hair and bug in the bed. The floor was slippery, the TV had lines going across the screen.

The customer service was excellent as always. The staff goes above and beyond, and the front desk team was especially friendly and welcoming, making everything smooth and easy from check-in to check-out. One of my favorite parts about staying here is the peaceful outdoor atmosphere. It’s really relaxing to step outside and see nature around the property, including ducks and squirrels, which adds a nice touch to the overall experience. Overall, La Quinta Plantation continues to impress me every time. I’ll definitely be back again!

My bed was the most uncomfortable thin mattress which creaked when I tossed and turned. My back hurt by the end of the week. O WiFI did not work it was down

My big disappointment was the LACK of WiFi connection! The problem had existed before I checked in and my hope was that it would have been resolved with the service provider within 1 day. The desk staff appeared uninterested when asked about the WiFi and had no answer for a resumption of service. Somehow the hotel was able to charge my credit card, but I was unable to make telephone contact with them to resolve the outstanding deposit charge. Their phones don't work!!! DO NOT check in unless you have very little need to remain in WiFi connection.

Staff was so friendly! WiFi had been down 4 days prior to our arrival and still down when we left - so down over a week. They did offer me a $50 credit but based on WiFi being included In The rate, I feel credit could have been more. The biggest negative is how low to the floor the toilet seats are - they need to modernize that as well as upgrade the bathroom overall. Breakfast should offer more varieties such as muffins and danish and tea for those non coffee drinkers. Great location!

Serious concerns about the swimming as there appear to be a algae overgrowth affecting the water appearance. The gym was bare minimum. Why do I keep going back...the front desk staff are caring, empathetic and helpful.

Had a 2 night stay prior to a cruise. Hotel was good the only issue was no WiFi due to a power outage. Shopping mall a short walk away and other outlets. Overall a good stay for a few days .

Decent hotel. Stayed there for three nights. Breakfast nothing special, par for the course. No issues with the room. Front desk staff a bit aloof.

The pool and hot tub were also consistently full of leaves from the surrounding trees, so they could have used more frequent cleaning. One thing I found interesting was that if you need plastic utensils later in the day, they charge you for them, so I recommend grabbing some from breakfast if you think you’ll need them. Overall, I still liked the hotel, but these are a few things I hope they improve. I would stay again and referred my Sister and Mom who are staying in the area in a few days.

Breakfast was ok. Room was clean but furniture was old and outdated. Sofa in the room was pretty old and felt like purchased from garage sale.

Our main concern or criticism of the hotel room was the room dynamics/configuration. We have never stayed at a hotel where the tv and dresser were not located at the foot of the bed. Our tv and dresser were located to the side of the room. We did not spend that much time in the room but watching tv before bed was extremely uncomfortable because the tv was located at an angle. You had to turn your head at an angle to watch tv and that was most uncomfortable. Our room had plank vinyl flooring, not carpeting, and a couple of the planks were loose. Also, the toilets were too low to the floor and should be higher. We would definitely book with La Quinta by Wyndam again but would first make sure of the room configuration for the tv and that the room was carpeted.

Everything was OK just the floor in the room wasn’t clean. It was sticky. We told the concierge but they didn’t have anyone to clean it, but besides that the beds are clean everything else is clean.

I booked this room for my mom as a one night stay. She was to stay by me but things changed last minute. My mom is a diamond club member with Wyndham and the way she was treated was horrible. First of all the elevator stop working with her in it and she was very afraid. They gave her the 4th floor because it’s the only floor with rooms left, when she told the staff at the front desk about the elevator she was given a “don’t care” attitude. The hotel front desk could use better customer service training. The face of the company is the front desk staff, the attitude they have towards customers matter greatly. Horrible experience.

Only down fall is the toilets loud when flushing & the dog barking on same floor disturbing your sleep.

When I got there I saw two employees behind the desk but only one was working with about 5-7 people in line so it took quite a bit even when I did check in online. Then they gave me a key to someone else's room!!! I had to go back to the desk and they had to reassign me to another room. When I got in the room the painting was hanging off the wall lamp shade all tilted side ways hair under the bathroom vanity. The pillows were HORRIBLE and once you lay on them get so flat. Glad it was only a 1 night stay and I would not book again.

We felt it was lacking, there weren’t any options that were really children friendly… other than waffles which is not a favorite to all better cereal options may help.

The location was good for my purposes They had no Wi-Fi service except in a few places in the lounge. When I reported the problem they say they don’t handle that and gave me an 800 number to call. The text at the 800 number said that there is nothing they could do after problem-solving because there was a hardware issue at the hotel. When I asked them how long it’s been going on they said the ticket has been open for 12 days so the hotel knew about this for over a week. The windows are dirty and or scarred and have no view whatsoever with bars on them that make them look like you’re in a prison cell The hotel design is thoughtless. There’s one slow elevator at one end of a building that runs at least 20 to 30 rooms deep. To people at the other end are walking forever to get to the elevator. If the cost to stay here was cut in half, it would be a reasonable value option. The pool was minuscule with a handful of lounge chairs with no social activity whatsoever. They use an app to pre-check in and attempt to nickel and dime you for every aspect of check-in or check out including six dollars for two small bottles of water. And finally, after I arrived home, I was warned that there was a security breach associated with this reservation and personal ID was hacked.

Breakfast was lackluster but good enough. Not a lot of choices, coffee was not great sausage was kind of watery like its steamed. Waffles were good.

Breakfast wasn’t that great. Pool was really nice and the location was great. The double beds seemed smaller than usual (or maybe most hotels do 2 queens). Hotel was nice overall and I would stay there again.

A lot of noise at the hallways, nobody from the hotel says anything about the screaming and the doors being closed loudly.

I think they forgot to clean the floor. Towels and bed were done but bathroom and main area were dirty. I put on a clean pair of socks and they were dirty from just wearing them for half an hour in the room. Rest of the facilites were nice enough for what you pay for.

I stayed there for one night in room 422 the room was okay but there's some things that could have been taken care of better like the king bed it's like the mattress don't fit the box spring and there were cobwebs up in the window when I open the curtain. I guess the air condition wasn't working in the hallway so it was kind of warm in the hallway when I passed the thermostat it said 77. In the bathroom the metal rod in the shower that you will use to get up out the tub if you was sitting in tub is very loose, and the water didn't get as hot as I thought it would get so I had a cold/warm shower.

This was my first staying at the property, and my experience was a good one.

Needed maybe two or three more loungers by pool and hot tub jets did not work. Overall it was a great place to stay in a area near shopping and restaurants, quiet and very clean

Breakfast is always late when the big black guy is on duty. 6:15 am breakfast isn't ready, and people will be waiting for him to get it prepared. The hotel serves the same breakfast every day. The sausage is always salty, and the oranges are spoiled.

this was my second stay here and i must say it was really great. the area, the hotel itself and the amenity were all an A PLUS standard for me! I would defiantly recommend this hotel as a place to stay at. can't wait to revisit.

It is about 10 miles from the Port and the airport with much, much better prices that places a few minutes closer. It is a good location for food but not walkable. The landscaping is beautiful. Parking could not be better. I shall return!

Breakfast had some positives — the food was hot and tasted good — but the paper plates provided were extremely thin and flimsy, requiring us to use multiple plates just to hold our food. The shower was also missing conditioner, which was inconvenient. Overall, while the staff was kind, the hotel itself could use significant maintenance and attention to cleanliness.

Location. 10 to 15 minutes to our connections with the cruise port. Short staffed when open for breakfast. One person to have the breakfast setup by 6am and run the night desk at that time in the morning does not work out. Customers trying to check out at that time or customers trying to grab a bit before they start there day. One of these two customer satisfaction is going to suffer.

The hotel was perfect close from the airport. I got stuck in Fort Lauderdale due to snow canceling my flight back to New England. They also offer a free Uber like service to all the restaurants and malls in the area which was clutch. It was very convenient to get free rides all around the area while I was stuck at the hotel for a few days. I would totally book this hotel again if I was trying to stay close to the airport and not be so close the to the beach (the beach was I think at least a 30 or seven minute ride from this hotel, but it didn’t matter for this stay) also great restaurants and bars in the area. Friendly staff as well.

After paying 230 for the room. That was ok for me but later i went to desk and asked for a plastic spoon and they wanted 27 cents for it. I thought she was joking but it is actually their policy.

Proximity to where I needed to be. Has gone downhill in last 2 years I’ve been going there. Tootsie roll wrapper on floor by nightstand. Fridge needed to be cleaned. Pillows were extremely lumpy. Lobby tile needs to be fixed. It’s a safety hazard and has been this way for awhile.

Dirty with insects! Room was dirty with cakes on grime and hairs in the bathroom on arrival. Rooms only cleaned every third day, did not get towels or garbage emptied daily like they stated. On third day there were several crawling insects in the room, at that point I asked for a different room, hotel was full so I left. They would not refund the rest of my stay through Expedia. Would 10/10 NOT recommend.

I recently stayed at a hotel in Plantation, Florida, and I would like to share my experience. On the positive side, the hotel’s location is excellent, and I appreciated having a work desk, microwave, and coffee station in the room. It was also a plus that the hotel offered breakfast, although the selection was very limited and the exact same items were served every day. Unfortunately, my overall experience was disappointing. I stayed for three nights, and during that time, the room was never properly cleaned. The staff only replaced the towels and made the bed once, but the floor remained dirty throughout my stay. When I complained, I was told that nothing could be done at that moment and that they could only look into it the next morning. Additionally, when I checked out, the receptionist did not acknowledge me at all. She simply asked me to leave the keys and ignored me, which left me with an unpleasant and disappointing feeling. I hope the hotel takes this feedback seriously and improves the level of cleanliness and customer service.

Room was extremely musty and remained so all three nights. Floor was so dirty that our feet got filthy getting out of the shower and walking the room. The rest of the room seemed clean but had the musty smell. Breakfast was mediocre: very few options and nothing for quick on the go (like peanut butter or decent fruit.) They ran out of HOT WATER for morning tea before the end of breakfast and when I returned at 12:45pm they still hadn’t bothered to refill it: 3 hours. Only one tea option and no herbal teas. Room was basic with an uncomfortable bed (hard as a rock) and old uncomfortable chairs and furniture. Common areas were far nicer than the room itself. Toilet was very sluggish on the top floor. Some staff were awesome and others didn’t care.

La Quinta or Expedia cancelled our reservation but neither wants to be responsible. Then they corrected the error and gave us a room. Personal item (White Crocs 65dollarvalue) was removed from our room when we were out. We are completely sure we left the personal item inside the room and they say sometimes the cleaning takes things by error and put them in the washer. Only one was found, they dont tell me were it was found.

Stayed for 5 nights but room service came only one day. Image a family of 4 staying with no service for 4 days. My wife had to get the sheets from front desk and change it. Had to go downstairs multiple days to gets towels. No exhaust fan in bathroom. Floor was sticky. Breakfast was okay - same option for all 5 days.

Was very disappointed that they were not willing to change our sheets which were unclean after the first night. Front office offered to give us the clean sheets and change them ourselves. First time ever that this happened to me. Very said given that we paid good money to stay here.

The bathroom was outdated with chipped tiles. All the staff seemed nice and helpful. We asked for an extra pillow and we were told there was none. One day no knives, another day no butter. We were told water would be available daily, all day, sadly was not the truth.

The 2 'queen' bed room was 2 double beds. The bathroom doors were a double closet door that didnt lock. We tried to check in early, they said the room is ready but it would be an additional $65, so we declined, went back at 1:30 to try again, she said i had to wait until 2, even though a guy ahead of me just checked in and a family right after me checked in, and no neither had to pay anything additional, i asked.

Room is spacious and king size bed comfortable. Breakfast is average as per any other chain hotels that offers complimentary breakfast, water and coffee available anytime is a plus. Gym could be bigger but i understand hotel dont want to invest more if not many people go to the gym.

Entrance was dirty, unkept and had lots of liter. Lobby was messy and not as presentable as pictured. Staff was basic. Overall, this hotel seemed run down. When we noticed a water leak in our room, we were not allowed to change rooms. Maintenance was called to cleaned water and fix fridge.

Was not a bad stay but I suggest you bring your own pillow. If two people are sleeping in the same bed make sure it's a king because there two room beds don't have enough room in the bed for two people

One star. What a disaster at Quinta Inn—booked for a family stay with our kids (ages 8 and 5), expecting a quiet spot, but it was pure hell. Bottle rockets exploding outside all night like a war zone, terrifying the little ones and no sleep for anyone. No WiFi to entertain them or stream anything to block the noise. TV was busted, no channels or sound even after “fixing” it. Front desk refused to do anything about the chaos. Demanding my money back and complaining to corporate.

The Front desk start was not friendly, I arrived to check in at 3pm my room was not ready. they told me they don't have any king bed, after I requested a refund to go elsewhere then there was a room provided. Upon arriving in the room the TV was not working. I called the front desk to get someone to repair it. no one came for over an hour. I called back about 3 times before a guy same and he took an hour to fix the tv. I was tired and wanted to take a shower and go to bed, but I had to wait for the TV repair guy to finished. For the price I paid for this room for one night it was not at all worth it. Please advise as to compensation for my unconvinced.

The room was very clean, but needs updating. I was happy that the floors did not have carpet. The bed is very comfortable and clean. The overall atmosphere in the room is old looking. The staff has been very nice and friendly, pointed out the various amenities. I would definitely stay here again.

Had to change rooms because the toilet wasn't working properly in the room. Accidentally left items in the first room and housekeeping sent it to the wrong room. Never got the items back. Although, the hotels policy is that they'll change towels daily, the dirty towels were removed but no replacements were given. We are return customers but the service was better in the past.

My main issue with this hotel was the room service provided or lack there of service. Everyday I had to ask for towels, soap, etc. and even when I did ask I would not receive items and ended up having to go to front desk to get items. Also the room was dusty. The room was big so that was only plus.

My experience was horrible. They have a mold in the property. AC is so noisy that you can not sleep. When we arrived on the second day, the door was open. We asked to change our bed on the third day after our check-in. They refused to change the bad, saying they do it only once every 3 days.

This is a hotel we took on the road. It is close to the outlet. It was just fine. The hotel is clean. The staff is very nice.

This particular La Quinta is top grade. I travel a bit around Florida & stay at the other "affordable" chain hotels including other La Quintas. But this is one is most assuredly my favorite. Mattress' & pillows super soft, modern rooms. Only thing I'd suggest is a recliner type chair so you dont have to sit on the bed to watch tv.
