Quality Plainfield - Indianapolis West

Asked for a handicap room...sign on door said handicap it wasn't by far. Window was wide open...dropped stuff off came back noticed windows open from outside, sure enough our room. TV wouldn't turn on 1 light was working the rest were all unplugged or didn't work.

They shouldn’t charge over $100 for this place. It’s very well worn, smells like weed throughout and the pool area didn’t have a working bathroom, so we had to go to our rooms when we needed the toilet. I’ve paid less for better and won’t be staying at a Quality Inn again. It worked, but it was dirty feeling, everywhere. Even though they were actively cleaning it, it’s not the staff, it’s the property that need to upgrade their place.

Check in was quick. We enjoyed the pool. Kenrick at the front desk was awesome! He came to our room and fixed the TV that needed reconnected. We saw him the next morning at breakfast—he is super polite and a great representative for Quality Hotels!

The people at the front desk were very friendly and knowledgeable about the hotel. The room itself had some issues, such as a strange chicken like smell as soon as I opened the door and tried to walk in. Further in, it wasn't as noticeable, though. The ceiling light did not have a working light bulb, and pressing the switch confirmed that. I had to prop the door open when I arrived after dark, to find a lamp to turn on. Several lamps were missing working bulbs or any working bulbs. The bathroom had a light but no fan to keep things fresh. The air conditioning worked, as did the wi-fi. Wi-Fi is 10Mbps and free with no signup if you watch a 10 second self-promoting hotel video. The shower floor was open and at tile floor level, so water from the shower spread to half the bathroom, even with the curtain drawn. Cleaning staff did not replace the extra toilet paper roll for the 2nd day, nor did they remake the bed. They did take out the trash and reset the towels for the bathroom. Pool was accessible if you wanted it, as was complimentary breakfast between 6 AM and 9 AM EDT. Parking wasn't too bad, but it is a bit challenging to find the place behind the Days Inn. As expected, decent for the price, friendly staff

The mini fridge was not working. Reported it to the front desk. Staff was responsive. The gentleman who was on duty was kind and courteous. Eventually he replaced it with another.
