    Not up to standards for a Hampton Inn. I was really surprised by the demise of the facility and how close it was to shopping centers and restaurants that are on a better scale than what I got. The bathroom had only a poorly constructed barn door that was difficult to open and close, and it was not as clean or in the best condition. Chipped paint, dusty floors, walls, and worn linens.

    The breakfast is as the best part of the stay.. the room wasn’t clean still used wash clothes in the shower, caps missing off the toilet seat mounting so you could see how nasty it was. They where in the middle of cleaning carpets so it smelt like wet carpet all 3days and someone hammering on something tell 9pm one night I would recommend spending alittle extra not to stay here

    I am not afraid of germs-- This Hampton Inn smelled--they allow pets, it was dirty, floors not vacuumed-shower had hair, strangely---the drapes did not cover the window but the wall--- I will not stay there again.

    I had ants and insects in the room and I spoke with manager and they stated they could only offer points for a free room. When points were put on account I was not able to book a free room and was told I would have to reach out to the 3rd party where I booked. I’m very upset and not satisfied at all.

    Plus sides: The area gels sage and secure (important when traveling with children), and the spaces were generally clean. The breakfast was really good with a lot of variety of hot foods, baked goods, and cold foods with fresh fruits, a variety of juices and hot coffee/tea/hot chocolate available. Overall: I would return, it was a really nice stay other than the specific room-related issues.

    I was asked to change rooms after my first night, because of the ongoing renovation. I am a day sleeper because I work nights as a nurse and I was woke up two times by staff wanting to hang curtains in the room that I had been asked to move to! No one apologized for the inconvenience or offered to compensate me for having to pack up and move rooms without help. I have been staying at this property regularly for almost 6 months and have never been treated so poorly.

    This is a great hotel…close to the airport, restaurants & stores. They also have great breakfast in the morning. The only issue right now is they are doing some renovations, so you hear drilling & some banging but it’s only until 6pm. I would recommend this hotel.

    the staff was helpful and nice. The room t.v wasn't working because of the remote and the stench of pee walking into the room was horrible. I spoke to the front desk staff and she replaced the remote and gave me a can spray to spray the room for the smell. The room needed to be cleaned or I needed to be switched to a different room or hotel next door instead of me spraying air freshener that dont last.

    Only one elevator was running. This meant guests, house keeping and construction workers were all competing/waiting for the same elevator. Construction workers were moving big carts full of debris through the elevator and lobby all through the day. The lobby floors constantly looked dirty even after a fresh mopping. There was a large section of water damage on the ceiling of the lobby. House keeping only servicedv rooms every other day. Breakfast was always cold. Probably the worst offense was the front desk clerk was working while she was ill. When she checked us in you could tell she was struggling and miserable. She complained to us that it had hit her very suddenly and she was feeling terrible. But I saw her every day pushing through. Sure enough on my second day there I got hit by a sudden virus and spent the next day in bed. Luckily I started feeling better the next day.

There were unruly guests that took over the hotel and they did nothing about so other guests suffered. They moved me to another room that had multiple lights out so I was in the dark trying to get ready. These things could all be fixed with a little care in checking things before they check in a person. The only redeeming factor was their fantastic front desk staff who really did all they could to help and tried to make things right. They are the only reason I stayed and am not giving this one star.

    As a Hilton Honors member I expect consistency in these hotels when I travel. This was by far the worst experience! There was a bug in my room (alive), let the front desk go. No one ever contacted me. The room was not clean, definitely needed more elbow grease. Breakfast…no words! Quality of food was poor. Little things mean a lot when you are a Hilton member, like getting two bottled waters upon check-in. That didn’t happen. Won’t stay here again.

    When we went to check in we were told they had not held our room and could not give us a room that could hold our party. As a result 2 people literally slept on the floor in the room. This was also the most run down Hampton Inn I have stayed in. The rooms were dark, bare bones and desperately in need of updating. The bed was not comfortable and the tub in the bathroom was scratched up..

There was a shared room door that was not even close to be closed all the way. The walls looked like a the room was being worked on and never finished. The shower was nasty and had black stuff around the edges. The mirrors looked like they were sprayed with something and then smeared off with a dirty rag. I could hear every toilet flush and shower in the morning along with a stale water smell. If I had checked my room earlier when I checked in, I would have asked for a refund immediately. I am a solo traveler and didn’t feel safe in that room at all. I took pictures of it all as well. I travel a lot and this is the first time I had to write a bad review.

    I loved how clean it was! And the staff were super friendly and nice, particularly the lady who was working the kitchen area for breakfast. It needs to be renovated, definitely a little outdated. The room we were in needed more lighting. The toilet kept getting clogged. It needs more closet and room space. The cables need to be tightened because the cords fall out too easily.

It was dirty under the nightstand, between the beds, and there is a candy bar wrapper there also. Something was spilled in the elevator and it was not cleaned up for a day and a half. The hall carpet needed to be vacuumed. This is not the quality that I am accustomed to when I stay at Hampton Inns. It was disappointing.

    The rooms were too small, it had very little space to move around the room. Also, my bed had two attachments that stuck out that It could have caused injuries if I hadn't noticed them first. They were a sticky substance on the counter in front of the TV. I booked 2 rooms, but they were on separate floors, which separated me from my guest.

    I checked in on a Thursday and stayed until the following Monday. During this time, not once did my room get any maid service despite the maids knowing I was in that room. Yes I could have notified the front desk but why should I have to in the first place. The complimentary breakfast was limited and to be honest, the hot selections were not exactly appetizing, especially the sliced pieces of sausage swimming in a vat of grease! The location was good for the purpose of my visit but that’s about all.

    We had two TV's one remote had one battery and the other remote batteries were dead. The front desk had no batteries, so I requested they go to an empty room and get batteries. They were reluctant to do this and suggested I go to the store. Then we noticed the Shower attached Shampoo, body wash and conditioner were empty. The front desk said they had no supplies and we would need to change rooms. They gave us a room on a different floor - so we was a pain to move everything. The new room had another remote that was dead, but one did work.

    From the top, upon arrival Check in lady Layla was dry and rude. Not very helpful or pleasant. Didn’t seem like she wanted to be at work at all. Very bare minimum. Maybe said 2 words to us. After we figure out which way to go we got to our room, it was nothing to write home about. Old and outdated. Then we discovered the TV in room bedroom didnt work. The bed was uncomfortable but okay, sheets didn’t have stains. The bathroom wasn’t clean, idk what was in the floor, and around the tub and in the sink. I for sure had won’t be back, you go at your own risk. We were from outa town and found a room while in the drive through after leaving a tournament. So lesson learned.

    Could hear a lot from other rooms and hallway when trying to sleep. But then again, couldn’t sleep on feather pillows and there were no regular pillows available per staff. Bed not comfortable and had to attempt to sleep without a pillow since feathers are not an option. Killed a roach in bathroom. Would leave if I didn’t have a need to be here for a meeting tomorrow.

    This was the worst hotel I've ever stayed at. Me and my family got there and they gave our room away. We had to wait hours just for them to find another room that was suitable for my family, which was a family of five. I have pictures that there were roaches in our room. I asked orbits for a refund in the orbits said they couldn't give me a refund because they couldn't get in touch with the hotel. I'm very upset. The first day that we were there they ran out of breakfast. I had a 75-year-old man with me who had to take medication and had no food to eat. The hotel blamed everything on orbits in orbits blamed everything on the hotel. Unacceptable

    We have stayed here several times in the past. It has gone way downhill on all levels. The room was ok but all common areas were filthy. The clientele was shady at best. The smell of marijuana and cigarettes was overwhelming in common areas. I waited over 10 minutes for someone to show up to check me in. Breakfast was ok but area was filthy. Coffee 24:7 is nice. Several cars of our team members were broken into at neighbor hotel. Pick another location.

    Decent stay if you need a quick night or two within driving distance to downtown Charlotte. Breakfast in the morning was sub par. Bed/pillows were a little uncomfortable. Mini fridge didn’t function properly.

    This review is based on the hotel the day I stayed there, and they had a water leak on the ground floor which resulted in a very odd smell in the entire downstairs area which permeated the elevator and upper hallways. I had requested a ground floor room, but was placed on the 5th - understandably, as the ground floor had issues - but this made the stay a bit more difficult for my elderly companion. The room itself was clean and spacious - however several plugs in the room were merely decorative…be careful when you try to charge something. Make sure it’s charging. Staff were friendly and helpful.

    Loved the fact that the lobby door is locked after 9pm and your room key allows you in. Felt extra safe and secure! My daughter, grandson, best friend and her daughter stayed after the Morgan Wallen concert in Charlotte. They went to Carowinds on Sunday. I drove home to Cayce . Was impressed!

    Our overnight stay was in a nice clean room that was a little smaller than expected. The usual amenities were provided plus numerous outlets for charging electronics. Negatives: uncomfortable bed, nonworking ice machine 4th floor, no worker at front desk upon arrival, breakfast slow to be remade after initial “run” on it.

    The receptionist/manager was very attentive and sweet. Quiet and peaceful stay. Upon arrival our toilet was not flushing, but they sent maintenance right away to fix it. To be honest, the breakfast was horrible, but I still enjoy the stay.

    Room dirty, we had to use Clorox wipes to remove dirty fingerprints in multiple areas. Trim around floor in bathroom rotting from moisture, caulk job around bathtub disgusting. Kids playing football and screaming out in the parking lot right outside our window till almost 11 o’clock at night. Then when those kids came in, they ran up and down the hallway door, screaming well past 11 and then in the morning doing the same thing. When I asked the front desk about it, they weren’t willing to do a thing, it’s shocking how such a great name as the Hilton has become what a budget Inn or Motel six was 10 years ago.

    Front desk was very nice upon check in and out. Older property in need of repairs. Bed was nice. Room was crammed tight with furniture, not a lot of other room. Not a normal closet, just hooks on a wall. Breakfast was okay, kitchen staff very pleasant. We asked for our room to be cleaned but it was not during our 2 day stay.

    Stayed here overnight for an event in Charlotte. We had a great experience starting at check in with Caroline. Room was clean and comfortable beds. The breakfast was great with many options and everything tasted great. Would recommend
