    The property was owed nasty and had roaches and bugs absolutely nothing the staff there are rude I didn’t like anything about it. It had a bad smell and they had bugs. Saw a big cockroach coming in as I was coming in the building.

    It was quiet no noise throughout hallways The sink in my bathroom drain out very slowly The water was shut off for over 3 hours during my first night stay without any notice!! After booking 6day stay I checked out and needed to stay another two nights for work (mind you I already paid them my money for this extra two nights) and the “MANAGER” stated I must pay a deposit which I did NOT have to pay when I booked for 6 days!!!! He was rude and hunched his shoulders and when I said I wasn’t charged that fee the other days! He said okay you can’t cancel you gotta pay a deposit!! Again I had just stayed for 6DAYS WITHOUT ANY DEPOSIT FEE‼️‼️ I asked him to contact someone higher and he stated “There is no one higher than me” I asked if he was the owner and he couldn’t answer…. I also told him there was old food and stuff in my room as well… he didn’t show any care in the world! Just sat there clicking on the computer saying you can’t cancel your room! You got to pay the deposit! So you just going to keep my money!

    My overall review of this hotel is very good. The staff were friendly, room clean, bed comfortable. The room was a bit noisy but overall good. Breakfast was decent but almost all table tops were very wobbly. Maintenance staff should address this issue.

    Pleasant staff. Clean room. No USB plugs in room and outlets oddly only loosely held regular plugs which made wall mounted ones in the lamps basically unusable as the plug wouldn't stay in securely...had to unplug the refrigerator and alarm to be able to plug multiple devices in.

    David Bean the regional manager and one responsible for approving reservation cancelations is declining to issue my refund for a stay that I attempted to cancel and check out of while grandstanding and accusing me of providing false information to get it. Hes reviewed the cameras, confirmed I handed my keys in to check out and knows I did check out well before the check-in time of the days I paid for in advance. He is a thief and best western as a brand needs to investigate this man for malpractice and theft. I have an on going case because of his poor business practice and mishandling of his position

    Breakfast was junk, no flavor at all, the scrambled eggs were probably previously frozen, no salt or pepper. The sausages were undercooked and the wrong items were available from the menu they posted. It was justa 2 star averaged place. Our first room was smelly and dirty with meat chunks on the floors.

    It was a peacefull stay but: 1. The bed was not even a bed, it was like a sofa bed, horrible experience; 2. Some furniture was like from the 90's; 3. Carpets in the room were not a great experience; 4. Breakfast area had many flyers saying that guests can't take not even an apple from there, we felt not free; 5. The elevator was working slow; 6. Swimming pool was closed; 7. The staff was nice.

    Next morning, we spoke to an attendant who offered a refund. She said we would be receiving an email with the confirmation as she was unsure why the desk attendant, Sterling, lied about rooms not being available. She allowed me to snap a picture of the confirmation with my phone and said the email confirmation would reach me soon. A week later I confirmed through Expedia that they have not received the refund. Attempted to call back but another night attendant answered the phone incredibly irritated and said to contact the manager. Even Expedia called the hotel and had a negative experience with the desk attendant. The following morning, spoke to the manager David, who was incredibly dismissive, denied a refund was ever offered, and essentially said it was not his problem. I URGE you to read additional Google and Expedia review reviews that VERY clearly highlight the poor management and the manager. Not to mention the poor cleaning and smell of weed everywhere. JUST AVOID.

Had a king size bed room and the pillows on the bed were so small, thin, and there was only 3 of them.

    I stayed at this hotel in November for a few days. They were out of hot water then and I only stayed because they offered a 50% discount. Front desk was also very friendly! I’m traveling to Charlotte again and before I booked my hotel, something told me to call and ask if they fixed the hot water situation. I was surprised when the front desk told me they still don’t have hot water! It’s going on 3 months! That is extremely unacceptable especially during the winter months. Management needs to do better!

    The hot water starting going out at the hotel on Friday, by Saturday morning there was no hotel available and no one had any information when it would be restored. I tried 3 times to reach the front desk but no one answered the phone until Saturday morning. They offered a discounted rate of $45 for the nights of my stay but I really feel we should’ve been refunded the complete amount of the stay due to the lack of communication and the nonchalant response from the staff. Considering the area where the hotel is located, it’s definitely time for a serious remodel and upgrade.

    I went to check in and was told to go somewhere else because the hotel didn't have hot water. So after being at the hospital all day I was exhausted. So at 10:30 at night I had to go find another hotel to stay in.

    I love this place! This is now the third time we have stayed here for a Karate tournament, and we will continue to come back each and every year. The staff is absolutely amazing. The breakfast is phenomenal. Rooms are so comfy and cozy. And not to mention, it is in the absolute perfect location. Anything you want is literally right around the corner. You cannot go wrong with best western plus Pinesville.

    Overall, a good stay. The room was comfortable and fairly modern and clean. Not all of the outlets worked, but I was still able to charge my devices. Score one for the blackout shade too. It was pretty quiet. Breakfast was what you would expect and totally adequate. If you’re planning on using the exercise room, head across the street to walk or run on the Greenway trail instead. The Peloton is wobbly and has no subscription (unless you login with your own), the treadmill kept cutting out, the room is musty, and the lights turned off on me while I worked out. There is no equipment for strength training. It was rainy, so I didn’t use the pool. Despite some areas for improvement, I would stay here again.

    There was an unexpected fee, the curtains were basically see through and very thin, the faucet was dripping in the bathroom, the refrigerator was not working properly, all of the electrical outlets were not working. This was my second time there. I will not stay there again.

    Meanwhile, my grandmother and mother were warning others to avoid the elevator since no one bothered to put up a sign, and I was trying to request a refund. To top it all off, the front desk clerk hypocritically scolded some young men to let my grandmother and mother sit down, pretending they cared about their disabilities.     Check in what quick and easy. The lobby temp was very hot, didn’t feel like the AC was working or was able to keep up as it was in the 90s outside. My actual room temp was fine. Room had been updated somewhat, but esthetically showed a lot of flaws. Bed was comfortable and room was clean (which is much more important.) my room was next to a back stairwell but noise level was not bad. Breakfast was good and fresh. There was an attendant that was constantly refreshing and cleaning the breakfast area, which was very much appreciated. Was forewarned by another guest that the elevator does not always work, but I had no issues. One thing that was somewhat frustrating was I had to have my room key reactivated because it stopped working. Based on other reviews and the reaction of the front desk attendant, this appears to happen often. She was quick to reactivate my room keys. I would stay here again

    Check-in was quick, lady was very polite, area clean but a little warm. The breakfast area was clean but warm since AC unit broken. The breakfast was good and hot! The room was very outdated and run-down. The two queen beds were comfortable but the frames were hard plastic and stuck out past the mattress so we busted our legs on the frames while moving around in the room. There were 2 adults and 4 children in the room. We for 2 kids to sleep on the sofa bed but it was a joke! The mattress was paper thin and nasty. You could feel every spring when you laid down, sheets, was very narrow and short so it only fit one kid, not two (even though the room is labeled that it sleeps 6). Two kids & one adult had to share one queen bed. Teen ended up sleeping on the sofa instead of the sofa bed cuz it was so bad. When I spoke to the young man at front desk about the sofa bed, he could offer no help; nothing extra could be provided, not even an extra blanket; he said they didn't have any extras but I saw several extra blankets in the housekeeping room on the shelf. The AC unit was ok. Had to go to front desk multiple times to reprogram room keys. TV signal wouldn't work most of the time. Wifi was horrible. Plugs by bed lights didn't work and reading lights did not work. Fridge was frozen upon arrival and I had to defrost it. Large patched area on ceiling that was poorly done. Shower handle didn't work well. Need splash wall in shower cuz entire floor gets wet and slippery.

    I was skeptical from a few reviews I had read but when I arrived I felt safe and comfortable. My only complaint really is tear up the carpet and get something more modern that is easier to keep clean. Also the pillows were lumpy like someone else had stated. Regardless for $100 it was fine. The staff was great and there is a greenway right across the street for early morning walks!

    Elevator constantly went down. Got stuck in it once. They had to come open the doors. Homeless man stayed on our floor all day. He even started smoking cigarettes in the hallway.

    This was one of the worst experiences I have had at a hotel. When I arrived to check in, I was charged a $50 fee, which would have been OK. When I returned to bring my bags in the elevator was broken, and there was only one elevator I had to walk up four flights of stairs to get to my room. Once inside the room, two of the lamps beside the bed did not work and the wall electrical plug was so loose. My charger would not stay so it was difficult for me to charge my phone. In addition, I was told there was no housekeeping so if I wanted towels, I would need to walk down to the front desk from the fourth floor with a broken elevator to get towels. There was water stains on the bathroom ceiling, water stains on the ceiling in the room in the alarm clock if I have wanted to use it was not operational. I do not believe I should be charged $50 for a room in that condition. Additionally, I did not stay the whole time I left after one night due to the conditions in the room. I will never return to this hotel again.

    I did not like the fact that there was blood on the damp wet sheets that were on the bed. The elevator did not work for almost 2 days. The food/breakfast selection was subpar.     THE 2ND ROOM THE A/C WAS ON FROM 4PM TO 130AM & THE ROOM WAS STILL AT LEAST 90 DEGREES. SHE SAID SHE NOTIFIED THE MGR WHO ALLEGEDLY NOTIFIED MAINTENANCE WHO NEVER CAME & FRONT DESK LADY NEVER CALLED ME. SHE SAID I WAS TOLD TO GIVE U A FAN. THERE WAS ONLY 3 PLUGS IN THE ROOM THAT WORKED. UPON LEAVING I ASKED FOR MGR & OF COURSE HE WAS NOT THERE THE NEW LADY AT DESK WAS LITERALLY WRITING DOWN PEOPLE'S NAMES & NUMBERS WHO HAD ISSUES FOR THE MGR TO CONTACT. I HAVE CONTACTED HOTELS.COM & ALREADY STARTED A DISPUTE. I REFUSE TO BE OUT OF TOWN & HAVE TO STAY IN SOMETHING LIKE THIS RUN DOWN PLACE. 10/10 I HIGHLY DONT RECOMMEND I COULD HAVE LITERALLY SLEPT IN NY TRUCK & BE OK WITH IT

    When I checked in they said that I would have to go to the front desk and ask for linen since there was none for the sofa bed in the room. Two hours later when my brother to ask for some, a guy was sitting there and rudely rejected our request for more towels (because there was not enough for 5 people because they only provided like 1 or 2) and clean linen. He only gave us a piece of white bedding and a really thin blanket, no pillow, nothing else. When I went to ask him myself, I saw how rude his attitude was. I don't think that is appropriate front desk customer service especially when you are working at a hotel that should help make residents comfortable and feel rested.

    No issues. Room clean, quiet. Could’ve been a bit cooler. Staff ok. Location great. Pool built in sauna-like conditions. Walls all around. No breeze and ac units drip on you as you sit by pool.

    The elevator was broken the whole time that we were there. The common areas were really hot. There was a musty smell in the room and the host during breakfast on Sun was very rude. She was yelling at some of the guests to move out of her way and she was rolling her eyes at guests when they filled there plates. Im guessing that she didnt want to fix more food. Just not a pleasant stay at all and Ive been to this location many times. Probably my last.

    Front desk lady was nice. Rooms were clean enough. No housekeeping during your stay. Breakfast was standard hotel breakfast. (Eggs, sausage/bacon, potatoes, some fruit, waffles) Elevator was broken the entire weekend. Room AC worked but the rest of the hotel was HOT. Cars broken into in the parking lot. Location convenient to restaurants and activities.

    Nice clean rooms. Great value. However, elevator was out of order. No signs to indicate so we took it and got stuck for 20 minutes+. Phone in elevator did not work. Front desk unconcerned.

    I absolutely enjoyed the stay in this hotel. The staff was wonderful, the breakfast very varied and delicious, the locality very clean and beautiful. The hotel was very close to a lot of dining options as well as Carolina Place Mall and an entertainment zone. All in all, it was an enjoyable stay at the hotel, and I’d definitely stay here again.

    The cleanliness of the room I was in was okay. There was a sticky substance on the desk that I couldn’t get off. I sat at a table in the dining area and because the table is missing some screws, the food and drinks almost fell into my lap. I reported it and was told the owner is aware, but nothing has happened.

    The initial checking in my room was not ready and I had to wait roughly 30 minutes. They did wave me having to pay a 50 dollar hold. But the facility looks like it may have been updated but half updated. The beds are cozy though I did sleep well. Cable was terrible it showed pixels the whole time and it was choppy. Breakfast didn't look to appetizing either. If you just need some where to sleep I guess this would be a good place. The staffing were great though any questions that needed to be answered were answered. If I had to stay again just to sleep I would have.

    Room wasn’t available when arriving for check in. Other rooms for guests were not available also. We expressed we needed the room and couldn’t wait so the manager luckily got us in one but was the furthest thing from Polite. Room was considered clean but was definitely not clean. Breakfast was great though.
