Holiday Inn Express Pigeon Forge/Near Dollywood by IHG

My grandson and I got into the room, and everything was clean and in order; however, the AC wasn't cooling. I called the office to ask them to look at it. They were extremely accommodating and happily gave me another room immediately across the hall. They even brought the cart and new room keys. That was a great experience, as I have had horrible experiences in the past at other hotels. Thank you for being so kind and accommodating! Nothing I disliked; I was 100% happy.

Comfortable beds, tasty breakfast and close to many experiences. Traffic in the area is pretty congested so patience is a must.

All the time bathroom exhaust fan is not working

I enjoyed the location and our king suite. The pool was a great asset as well. I didn't like that our hot tub was spitting out black slime, due to not being cleaned appropriately and the smoking area caught on fire and I had to bring it to they attention. Could've messed everyone up big time.

We liked the room overall. We liked how they provided dove soap. Shower was hot which was good. The onl I thing we didnt like was howvthe toilet flushed. You had to hold down on lever to get it to flush. Toilet paper is substandard. Didnt like that.

Staff was probably the best part. Building is older, but still very clean. And newly remodeled. Hotel is right off the parkway which makes it easy. And a pool. Good for the price.

I didnt like the remark the guest agent made when he noticed i had to swipe my locked card twice. I brushed it off but that was rude and in your profession you should not make little jokes like that because i would have never pulled that card out had it been insufficiency Parking was a breeze and shops are all around. It would have been an overall great stay if upon arrive we would have been told of everything the hotel offers like the guest agent did with the guest on side of us. Our check in person was auditioning to work a comedy set

This room was amazing. The jetted tub was awesome, the room was huge and clean, and the staff was extremely nice. Will definitely stay here again next time we're in town

Spent two noisy but fun days in Pigeon Forge. A car show was brewing so all kinds of loud motors were everywhere but it made for an interesting time. The hotel is perfectly located and a great stay.

Hotel stay was great overall, beds were pretty comfortable. Enjoyed the indoor & outdoor pools & the hot tub. Staff was friendly. Really liked that they have a little snack area in the lobby that offers different foods and drinks and also free popcorn.

In general holiday inn hotels are very good choice but this property in specific needs some renovation and needs to switch on the AC in the coridors

The breakfast was pretty good. The bed was a little worn out. Probably time to replace mattress and boxsprings. They only had like 2 luggage carts for the whole place which was very inconvenient. The rooms were really clean. Overall it was nice. Just a few upgrades will make it great.

Horrible stay. Needs complete updating. My bed had a sinking hole in it. Maintenance said we can turn the bed around for you. I said then my son would be sleeping in the whole. Just trash. We waited several times for items when it came to Breakfast. Tables were uneven. Clean pool though.

I stayed at this hotel because of its proximity to Dollywood. The breakfast was delicious, the pool was refreshing, and the hot tub felt good after walking around the theme park. Highly recommend this hotel.

Hotel was very clean and bright, appeared to be freshly renovated. Check in and checkout was fast and efficient. I would recommend the check in going full digital but that was the only improvement in efficiency that I notice during my one night stay.

I did not get the room I had reserved took the discount for a regular room but it was still disappointing. These are great hotel chains but this location did not impress me, maybe the hot breakfast did. The website I used to reserve the room is false? It states you will be charged when you arrive at the property but that wasnt the case this hotel tried to charge my card 12 hours before hand, it was a shame it was declined or "red flagged" as a possible fraudulent charge I mean I used the card no problem in my state but when it tried to pay 5 states away I guess they didnt buy that to well. I have to wonder if I allowed my card to be charged before hand would I got the room I reserved? I just didnt feel as relaxed as I do when at Holiday Express and I used them evertime we go out of area.

Wasn’t happy about the room above us the person got in hot tub about 10:15 pm and it ran for about 45 minutes, then next nite about the same time ran for 30 minutes, then the next morning they were in it at 6:00. The evening times we were awake but Saturday morning was awakened by the noise, they are very noisy

The overall stay was good. However, the Jacuzzi tub kept spitting out black flakes from the jets. We didn’t use the tub. The desk person did adjust our room bill due to this.

. when I got to the hotel, I went to my room and the key didn't work. I hadn't put it in my pocket, it stayed in my hand. The next morning I ran out to my job which is the reason for my stay and when I came back my keys didn't work again. The only response was that my phoneust have demagnetized it. I am 67 years old, I understand how that works. Getting it replaced and an apology would have been sufficient.

The room was fine, the bed had a deep indentation from someone heavy sitting up watching tv.

Staff was friendly and it was close to restaurants. Room was a little dirty for my liking (clump of hair on shower floor and stained grout). Fine for a night.

Well day one was good no issues day 2 we dealt with ants, but staff was very prompt to take care of it. Day 3 the mini refrigerator was leaking water in walk area. Did report those to front desk. Very nice breakfast and staff

Our room had ants those ants left my daughter with bites and a er visit. The ants were in our suitcase after night 1. We were told “it sucks to be us” because they had no other rooms and pest control couldn’t get out to the property until the middle of the following week. We went to wash our clothes because of the ants to find after $20 that the dryers didn’t work. The hot tub was not working and there was no lazy river. All employees but two were very rude. We didn’t get to check in until after 1 am their time and a discount was refused unless we were 39 minutes later. This was the most miserable experience

Check in was easy, and the staff at the desk was extremely kind and attentive. Parking was free and easy. Although the facility is a little older, it was renovated and clean.

Th customer service was beyond exceptional. They took good care of us. It was our 17yr anniversary they even did something for us as a complimentary. Hotel room was very nice. Breakfast was good as well. I will stay again at this hotel.

Seems good only issue was check in was supposed to be 4pm they said be another hour left came back after the hour still not done front desk had no idea if was ready or not they had go check in person waiting another 30 minutes

This is the second time we stayed at this hotel and will continue to choose Holiday Inn Express in the future for all of the above selected reasons. I would also add it was very clean.

Had bed bugs! When approached manager Erick. He offered to call pest control! When I told him I wanted refund he refused. Stated it was fuzz on sheets, I stated fuzz does not move. If it was fuzz that meant sheets was dirty. I want a refund returned. Had to move to another Hotel was not staying and bring home the bed bugs and getting sick.

Smoking was to close to the building is the only thing i wasnt happy about

The Holiday Inn express in pigeon Forge was amazing stay it was comfortable clean. The staff was friendly. I definitely recommend this site for anybody who is traveling to Gatlinburg pigeon Forge it’s a very convenient in between place and it is definitely worth it..

It was a ok place but they really need to update there suite rooms. The usb ports on the one side of bed did not work. Hideaway/sofa needs to be updated it was falling apart. Also need to have more and bigger garbage cans in room.

Overall a fair stay. Friendly staff. Beds were comfortable and rooms quiet but the carpet needs to be cleaned or replaced badly. It was nice to have gluten free breakfast options available but it was Overpriced for the quality of rooms. See photos.

Excellent hotel! I did not see any problem of it. Im very satisfied with it.

The rooms could use some TLC. Mattress was old—you could see waves and humps. It was not firm at all. Pillows were rather lame as well. The staff was very friendly and a couple of times they had to educate me as to how something worked. They were courteous and responded quickly. Outside the guest room everything was pretty good, but the most important thing-the bed and pillows were sub par.

Web site said hotel had a grill so we bought provisions to cook- no grill. Little disappointed. Hot tub broken the whole week we stayed again disappointing. Our overall stay was amazing. Everyone very helpful with our needs

It’s your average holiday inn. Like any holiday inn this one is no different. Comfortable bed, clean room, filling and tasty breakfast. It’s in a very convenient location being near a lot of attractions in the area. The staff were friendly and helpful. I will say the price for what you get is pushing it. The price I paid for my one night stay should of been the price I would pay for two days stay. This hotel is charging a premium price for a very average hotel. When I checked in the card reader would not work properly when trying to check in. The parking lot has seen better days with a very nasty pothole that would mess your car up if not paying attention. As for the room yes it was clean but for the premium price I would expect an AC unit I can put below 68 degrees, there was a hole in the wall where it looked like someone had fallen into the wall, and the TV is pretty old. Everything I just listed that was wrong with this hotel isn’t a dealbreaker with me and I’m fine with minor issues but DON’T charge a premium price unless things are fixed.

It was a great stay, traveling with elderly in-laws, that where meeting friends to travel in different direction, the staff was great to deal with and very accommodating to help with getting them on there way and with our stay.

The property was safe. Also easy access for parking. The only problem I seen was there was a whole in one part of the section of the parking lot. It looked like the concrete had came apart.

Betty (breakfast) was extremely courteous, helpful, and conscientious. The food was very good & plentiful. Upon check-in, they had a king room for us. The reservation was for 4, 2 queens on ground floor. The did find 2 queens on 4th floor for us. We had to get our own towels 5 days. They only brought towels for 2 on the 2 days they delivered. Water pressure LOW. Staff was nice, friendly, & helpful.

The Hotel was super clean and in a GREAT LOCATION! Amy at the front desk was AMAZING AND SO SWEET! check in was smooth and quick. indoor pool & jacuzzi was a nice touch , the gym was well stocked. we will defiantly stay here again in the summer.

My son and I stayed 4 nights and we have no complaints. The room was clean and reasonably priced. The daily breakfast was above average, lots of variety and everything was delicious. The location was near many attractions and felt safe.

We had 2 rooms over Thanksgiving for 3 nights with myself, husband, 2 kids and my Dad. We were pleased with our rooms, super comfortable beds. The lobby area was well kept, comfortable and cozy. The breakfast was definitely one of the better we've had with quality and selection. The fire pit area and pool area gave the kids entertainment. We had a good time and will stay there again.

The hotel is located in a safe area close to the Island, and is right behind Sunliner Diner. Breakfast is good with a range of options. Room was clean and had space. Checking in/out was fast. We enjoyed our stay and had no complaints.
