Rooms are very spacious and clean. Definitely recommend this place.

AND the toilet would bubble about every 40 minutes, loud enough to wake me up throughout the night. They have some sort of plumbing problem going on

Small room. No microwave. Fridge small not much can fit inside. Noticed Smoking detector had a plastic or bag over it. (Didn't bother to ask) my only concern would be safety precautions maybe fresh paint? and forgot to remove it. Who knows. Overall its a good stay for 1 night (my opinion) price too high for the limited space for your belongings. I did notice some stuff in the bed and wall when checking out of the room. (Bedbugs)?¿ which i also did when I arrived. Made sure to let maintenance know but she didn't stop by to take a look. Thankful I was out of the room majority of the time with my child. I would rate 5/10

Price The room was dirty and nasty , it faced the street so I had to turn up the tv to drown out the noise from the street. I wore socks in the shower and walked on towels or kept my shoes on. It was only an overnight stay. So I chalked it up as you get what you pay for. My cost was $100. Then the more I thought about it, the rooms should be of the same quality, regardless of cost. I won’t be back and will not recommend.

This place was not clean dirt all in the bathroom. It also had spots on the bed covers. The maid who are elderly couple took forever to get to my room to clean it literally until 8pm at night i just said forget it but i saw a raid spray on their cart i went back to my room and low and behold i go back to the room and see a roach coming out of the sink, i ran back to the cleaners cart i was calling them they didnt come fast enough so i got the spray and tried killing it it was too fast i told the clerk and they told me because i didnt take a picture of the roach they cant do anything about it and lied and said they dont have roaches just the soray just in cas...0/5 stars

The night attendant was very rude and the room smelled of cat pee. I told the night attendant about the cat smell and my clean work clothes and other clothes got the smell of cat pee on them and he didn't care. Also hesitated to give me back my $50 deposit

I would be lying if I said I wasn't impressed by this hotel. I remembered saying to myself .."another night of wasted money." I was wrong. The room I stayed in was worth every penny and even more. It felt so comfortable and relaxing that I extended 3 more nights. The location was perfect which is right by where the 5fwy and 605fwy met. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. It was a very pleasant stay for me away from home.

The room was very clean and spacious. I had a corner room and it was very peacful and quiet. I loved the large shower. Staff was very nice and welcoming. I would definitely stay there again. I recommend this Hotel. There is NOTHING tha I didn't like about it.

The place use to be a nice hotel, now it seems that they don’t take care of the rooms no more. Stains on walls, showers not clean enough, bad plumbing, sheets stained or burnt with cigarettes.

The location No elevator near us only in one location. The shower door only opens on one side. Walls were paper thin. No closet to hang clothes. No table to sit and eat. Towels were cheap!

The person who checked me in was very sweet. The room is large and updated and the bed was comfy. It was surface clean but the floor needed to be mopped; it was clearly dirty in the room and bathroom. A little more attention to detail would be good as far as corners and harder to reach areas. Towels and pillows were very thin and aged and the bedspread was stained. The room reaked of cigarette smell. Front desk offered a different room but I figured they probably all smelled that way. Street noise was loud in the day and early evening but settled down at night. Overall it was a fine place to stay the night, but definitely not an 8.4 as was advertised. I write this as constructive criticism as to easy fixes to make the stay more enjoyable.

Everything went smooth my only complaint is the front desk being lazy and not providing me with an extra pillow. We have 4 heads and only 3 pillows were provided. When asked he claimed that there weren’t any left but he didn’t even check.

It's very good experience to stay at Pico Rivera with family. I stayed at this place for 3+ nights for my visit to Universal Studio. It's just 30mins drive from this place to Universal Studio. It's safe area and nice cleanly hotel to stay with family.

I did so much research and read so many reviews to find a decent and clean hotel. I ended up picking this one even though it had a few bad reviews, because it said it was renovated and under new management. There was no person to check in and we had to call a phone number for someone to come down to the lobby which smelled interesting. The room was dirty. The floors looked like they had never been cleaned. The pillow cases had makeup and yellow stains. The comforter had large interesting, fresh stains. We had to go to the lobby to ask for new sheets 2x before they brought them an hour later and they did not change them for us. They were just dropped off on top of the dirty bed. When we were changing them we found the bottom sheet had a large yellow stain. The bathroom was worse. There were hairs still on the shower walls and the toilet had a pink ring inside and grime around the hinges of the toilet seat. We called the front desk several times and no one ever answered. We had to go all the way to the lobby several times and ended up leaving the hotel within 2 hours of checking in. I was so disappointed as there were several good reviews. The employee who finally brought us the sheets left them there for us to change, also left a lingering smell in our room.

Hotel was straight dirty, hotel stink’s disgustingly and it’s outrageous, when you walk into the lobby it’s like you walked into a waste dump. I walk into my room and immediately get hit with a horrible musk, the pillow had a blood stain, bed sheets had weird stains floor was filled with trash and the walls were covered in random dried up liquids. We tell the owner and he tried to ignore it, he takes us to another room and still there is a horrible stench floors are still dirty bed sheets are still covered with stains and the bathroom was the worst part, there was urine all over the toilet and hair all over the rooms. Another thing is there was a couple who also stayed there and had informed us that their bed was filled with bud begs and spiders pillows had lots of stains and of course the horrible stench. In the end I do not recommend this hotel for anybody especially for families. Thanks to Expedia for helping my family and returning all my money back.

Place was quiet, not crowded, pretty peaceful . Parking is very convenient. It’s also renovated which i absolutely loved. No bugs, no roaches, fairly clean establishment. The only thing I didn’t like was they didn’t have a microwave. The price was fair thoe, but if you are staying more than 2 nights and require adequate food storage such as frozen foods, you wouldn’t be able to because it doesn’t have a freezer part in the fridge. But overall, I would stay here again. I would just be more prepared or have meals already prepped. Staff was okay, not much interaction but they mind their business. The area is convenient as well, as it has a few places to eat and there’s a Starbucks on the corner.

The property is owned by a family. The rooms are dirty, towels are rough, dingy and almost look dirty. Bedding is the same. It’s not awful…but almost. They watch you in the cameras as we had another adult come up to my room to pick something up and the phone rang stating only 2 people were staying in room. We never were gonna stay long. So that’s creepy. Also traffic on telegraph is LOUD. Spend a few more bucks. Not nice in any measure.

Guest towels seemed clean, but the shower rug/towel was visibly dirty and stained. Pillow cases looked clean, but the pillow itself looked a bit yellow. My biggest concern is that that a male staff opened my door while I was still in bed with my 4yo son at 9am in the morning. No knock or anything. Used the key and opened my door! Good thing I used the swing arm lock. Called front desk to complain and they were sincerely apologetic, said it was due to a miscommunication with the staff. Even though it was an honest mistake, still unacceptable. Stay here if you’re on a budget, but bring shower slippers and perhaps your own towels and pillows. I personally would not stay here again based on my experience with my door being opened.

Place was fine, smelled of curry, and the ice machine kept breaking, but it was relatively cheap, clean and quiet. Nothing fancy, but good for the price.

Friendly staff in check-in and the people doing the housekeeping were extremely nice. Only issue was a very loud lady a few rooms down but they stopped the noise in the hallway after an hour. And the shower drainage was clogged up and it puddled up fast. But everything else was clean and nice place to stay.

The property had a strong odor of some type. The pillow cases were dirty with some make up on them so apparently they didn’t change them. There’s a nightclub across the street that blasts music until 2 am. So we couldn’t sleep

The room exceeded our expectations. It was clean, the AC was working great, the bed was super comfortable and the microwave and mini fridge in the room were a huge plus. The shower water pressure was good and the bathroom was clean too. I will definitely stay here again in the future.

Rooms are newly renovated. Public areas of this motel are pretty run down. It’s on a busy road so a fair amount of noise.

Overall great value. Stayed here with two single digit aged children... we all had an amazing time. Everything was reasonably close... even night time it was peaceful. Always had parking... vehicle which was a rental was safe... my remote did not work for the tv in the room but thats really not a big deal/easily fixed.

The customer service was terrible they blew up my phone demanding for me to pay for a shower curtain the fell by itself when I simply opened it the pole fell on my head and this hotel is harassing blowing up my phone when they can just simply put the shower curtain back up where it was it fell it was not broken

It looks like this hotel has been remodeled but the upkeep and cleanliness is not that good. The beds were clean but the walls were nasty like someone blew boogers on them. They really need to charge a deposit and check the room adter everyone leaves to make sure they dont do these kind of things. I feel bad for the owners thar remodel but customers don't respect that. Im hoping the walls and floors are cleaner next time around. For the price its ok other than the problems I mentioned. Places to eat all over in walking distance and also a 711

Very filthy linens. Bedding, pillow cases and towels were all stained. Floor felt gross. I'm glad I had my flipflops. Bathroom was extremely cramped with no hooks nor bars to hang a towel, anywhere. The minifridge didn't cool well. Those were the cheapest pillows I've ever seen in a hotel. Only redeeming feature was the matress was OK.

Parking was always available. Property was appropriately clean. Staff was professional. Great food/nightlife walkable nearby. No bells and whistles, but great mid-city motel at the price point.

Good place to stay

The only positive thing I can say about this property is that checking in was quick. But as soon as I entered my room I notice stains on the bedding and pillows case looked like they haven’t been cleaned. There were strands of hair on the pillows and bedding. Also There are no irons or hairdryers. The next morning as we went down to the lobby there was a homeless man laying down inside the only elevator they have with a open can of beer. I was traveling with my young child which we felt completely unsafe. The person at the front desk was nowhere to be found. I will never book this place again!!!! Beware!
