The Westin Phoenix Downtown

The aroma stuck with me. Amazingly fresh! From front door to the hallways, in the elevator and in the hallways to the 14th floor. Rooms very well kept. Over all Consistency!!! Would like to see a more of a convenient store on location or more selections. I like the vending machine, but that was very pricey for small quantities.

Everything was great other than the fact that I informed that I would be arriving at 2. My room was not ready upon arriving at 3 (due to traffic). I was not given my room until 5. I had to rush to get ready for the plans I had. The bath tub didn’t drain properly so I was standing in my own filth as I showered. Pretty disappointing for a Marriot.

Comfortable room and bed! The view from the corner suite was amazing and the bathtub was Devine ! Access to the club floor was great for breakfast and snacks during the day and into the evening! Great staff, friendly and helpful! Didn't realize there wasn't much to do in the downtown core and didn't rent a car! We were only there for a few days to see 'RAYE' in concert! We also used the pool (very shallow, but nice to have somewhere to cool off!)

The staff especially Sydney and Wesley are absolutely horrible. I had no Internet and they suggested that I called their Internet service provider as if it was my job to fix the Hotel Internet.

Clean expansive room with great city views. Luxurious bed and linens makes a great night’s sleep. Loved the robe and the rest of the amenities. Highly recommend.

Bathroom towels have bad smells. Hidden fees everywhere. A daily $30 “destination fee” is auto-charged and what you get is a $15 discount on food & beverage if you choose to dinning at hotel. This fee is not showing on the daily room rates and you only know it at check-out, when the bill was already made. The front desk would then tell you that they have “briefly explained” this policy and you need to “listen carefully, don’t accept everything without knowing, and when I asked “ so are you implying that I did get a chance to decline this fee when I checked in?” They gave me the look and said “no” This is ridiculous. Avoid this hotel if you travel!

1. I will put my hand on a bible and swear that the thermostat is probably motion activated and while you're sleeping, since there's no motion, my 68 degree sleep was disrupted by a hot room. You don't see this on the dial, but you also no longer hear the AC working. 2. I had no hot water in the shower. They fixed it, but then next day there was no hot water again. I complained and they comped my room one night but this doesn't make up for lack of sleep and shower and being my best for my conference.

There were around 10 or 12 preteen girls inside and no adults. They were loud, had food spread all over and attached to the only computer.

Nice cozy spot nestled in downtown. Onsite dining is spectacular, the Chef did not miss. Rooms are well kept.

Overall the hotel was clean and the staff were nice, however it appears that the valet and restaurant staff were not staffed and perhaps not trained appropriately. Since I booked an accessible room, I assumed there would be a rail by the toilet and a rail at the entrance of the shower to enter safely. Although there was one rail in the shower one would have to first step into the shower before it can be reached - not good for safety. One morning we had no hot water in the shower. After I reported it they sent their engineer who fixed the problem. Although our stay was not perfect, I would still recommend the hotel as I believe the issues we experienced can be addressed by management.

The property and room were both very clean! The onsite bar and restaurant had a great selection of food and beverages and the staff were all very friendly and professional! We will definitely back when we visit Phoenix again.

This was our first stay at the Westin and I will tell you, this is our go-to place now. First and foremost, the staff was super friendly right from the check in and the room was super clean and humongous. We got the club room which granted us access to the lounge on the 11th floor with breakfast, drinks and snacks. What really set this hotel apart was when we went to check out the lounge after we checked in. We roamed the floor area and went near the banquet room. We ended up running in a man named Nicky from banquet services. He was just finishing up his work day before going home for the weekend. We were chatting about life and randomly brought up that we decided to come downtown for our anniversary and this was our first stay at the hotel. The conversation was pleasant and then we parted ways. The next day, we received a call from the front desk that we had a delivery of amenities on the way up. We were both looking at each other saying “what did you do?” We even reached out to a friend that knew we were downtown but wasn’t her. We just couldn’t figure it out. The delivery turned out to be a bottle of Prosecco and two pieces of chocolate layer cake. At that moment, my husband said it had to be Nicky from yesterday. Turns out we must have said our room and he sent us the tray for our anniversary. That truly made our weekend. What an amazing man. Thank you for everything.

The property was absolutely beautiful and the location was great and convenient! The staff were so friendly and helpful. The restaurant attached to the hotel was incredible. My room was so beautiful with a great view, me and my boyfriend had a wonderful time! Will definitely stay here again.

The hotel Airco and heating thermostat in rooms were under renovation. I had to call several times during my stay to have the temperature in my room adjusted as calling guest services was my only option. I feel as though I was misinformed during booking and at check in. Doubt I'll stay again any time soon.

The corner king suite with the bath tub was absolutely beautiful. Me and my husband watched the sun rise together and it was breathtaking! We will definitely be back.

It was A-line. But Dountown hab station is very complicated to transfer. When back to airport We asked front desk how to get back to airport. Answer was otherside of Central st and take from there. It was incorrect. Need provide correct info.

The hotel hit on all the top things I look for in a good hotel: good large shower with great pressure, soft pillows/bed/comforter, good AC, and overall, large space. Some bonuses: great view of the city, huge TV, 4 closets, large mirror, very clean, and right in the middle of downtown.

Everything was perfect. My friends card didn’t work because there was a bill problem. So what happened is that the terminal wasn’t wasn’t working. But that was not my problem and the lady kinda blame on me.

Good location but they did not give me my promised $15 daily credit though i spent over $1800 for a 3 day stay .. made no effort to correct it on my folio and when i broght it to their attention it was a big hassle. so i let it go. I am a bonvoy member and just expected better. Other hotels to stay in that will treat their guests with more consideration.

Gorgeous property, wonderful location, great staff, great view. The valet parking was so easy and they always had the car ready before we got downstairs. No cons.

My room was a nice size for standard. I had a great view of the city. Hotel was very clean. Staff was very friendly and accommodating, especially at the bar and restaurant. I will stay again next time I visit Phoenix.

When checking in I was not told about additional fees other than what I paid for when I initially booked the room. The air conditioner didn’t work properly for the first 2 hours of our stay there which was especially frustrating as we were getting ready for an event. Everything was great, however, the listing of free breakfast is not accurate. They give you a $35 credit for breakfast to use in the hotel restaurant. The breakfast was very nice, but $35 pretty much covers one breakfast, not two. So to say breakfast for two is included is misleading.

The closet door wouldn't shut unless you physically pulled back the metal trim blocking it. The entertainment center and nightstands were outdated, with shallow drawers. The window treatment only offered blackout curtains and no other type of curtain. Rooms need to be updated. There was no service at the pool. You had to get your drink from the bar (inside) and then walk to the pool—an average hotel at best.

We dropped our daughter at ASU Phoenix campus. This was a perfect location to easily walk to campus and close to good eateries. Outside of the summer heat, it was really walkable. Very quiet and we enjoyed breakfast at the hotel. We’ll be back.

Parking is expensive and the valet area is confusing. I know this is being picky, but I hate when there is other people's hair in the bathroom. It feels like they did a half ass job of cleaning from the last guest. The hotel is in a great location.

Impressed by the friendliest staff, we received the most wonderful service all weekend by everyone.

I like to be in cities, but Phoenix is not a city on weekends.

Our room was spacious, clean, and luxurious. We were surprised at the large size of the room and bathroom. Also plenty of closet space, which is rare for a hotel. We loved the restaurant and bar. Food and service were good. All of the hotel employees we had contact with were friendly and helpful.

The staff is friendly and helpful, the room is spacious, and the bed is comfortable. They conveniently store our luggage after checkout, allowing us to focus on our day's work without lugging it around. The breakfast at the clubhouse is both adequate and tasty, with a variety every morning. My only suggestion is to offer hot beverages throughout the day at the clubhouse. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would definitely choose to stay at Westin again.

It was beautiful inside. There were minor things that I saw that made me feel unsure lol there was a orange or cherry pit in my sink when I was checking it out, and some stains on the wall that made me question it. Other than that. The room was beautiful and the staff was extremely friendly,

Great Weekend Getaway for my Husband and I! Our suite we upgraded too was so beautiful and spacious! LOVED the Bathtub with the amazing city views. Jacey & Dakota was fun for HH.

Check-in was a breeze and the room was amazing. Dinner and drinks at Jacy and Dakota’s was nice. The only detractor was the lack of sound insulation in the morning. I heard showers running, suitcases trundling along, and housekeeping carts.

Clothes were left in the room, so not sure it was actually cleaned. The tv stopped working and the hotel blamed the storm but their tvs were working downstairs. The toilet completely backed up and it took calls and over 30 min for someone to come fix it. There is construction all around the hotel right now and the pool is literally a home and no jacuzzi.

Stayed for a weekend birthday trip. The hotel was under construction but the experience was still. Great. Convenient location and huge rooms. Would stay again. Valet was great.

Nice property, but the fees really add up. Parking ($30 per day for self park and $40 per day for valet) and $25 per day urban fee. Lots of construction around the property. For all the fees, you would think they would at least offer free coffee. No microwave in the room, but there is a small refrigerator.

This hotel was amazing! Stayed there for a concert at the Van Buren and it was a short walk to and from the venue. The room was clean, the service was amazing, the lobby was pristine and the bar was a great quiet place to hang and grab a couple drinks. 10/10 would stay here again!
