This was very much a value and the best part is that it has balcony! I love the outdoors. It is an older property but everyone on the staff was wonderful.

Beautiful place … nice and clean I just wished the A/C was more powerful in the room.
- 5/5
This location is perfect for food/shopping walkablility. Staff are kind and helpful. My room was clean, comfortable, and spacious. Cafe in the lobby closes too early.

Great place to stay

I was charged for the room a 2nd time upon arrival; no refund yet. Staff entered my room ignoring the Do Not Disturb sign then propped my door open when told to leave. Breakfast was mediocre at best, w/ Starbucks egg bites and tough, chewy pancakes. Staff honestly appeared to be very nice, but a little overwhelmed, and had a traveling GM on deck from Alabama. The experience could have been much, much better.

I love the hotel room and the hotel lobby facility, i will be back again and i hope the Hotel will train their front desk stuff with beyond expectations customer service. The check out front desk lady was really nice abd i think it was just not every front desk agent has the same quality of customer service and this is needs to be fixed. Thank You Chloe London Chloelondonusa@gmail.com

If you are needing a place to stay look no further. Ice cold, huge rooms next to a ton of places of eat, shop, and be around. Room is perfect for having a good time with your spouse. As the beds are comfortable and the lighting is great. ;) perfect place to stay and will again if I'm ever in the area.

Great place to stay
- 5/5
I will definitely go back. The establishment was very nice and comfortable. It had so much to do around the area and the staff were very nice. A must go too.
- 5/5
The room was clean, comfortable, and well laid out. I lucked out and got probably the best view on property. I will definitely stay here again. Carpet needed cleaning. One front desk employee wasn’t helpful as she was watching videos on her phone and didn’t understand why I wanted a receipt for room charges (business).
- 5/5
Clean, comfortable hotel in a good location. We were trying to be close to GCU. We like that there is a lot to do here within walking distance. Feels like a safe part of town. We did not have to worry about our car in the lot.
- 5/5
Thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. So many options for shopping and restaurants within walking distance. Property was clean and comfortable. Staff were very helpful when needed and seemed genuinely happy to help however they could. I will definitely be back on my next trip to Phoenix.

The staff was welcoming and pleasant. Very helpful and accommodating in what they could control. Promt in delivering extra towels and sheets for couch bed. I like that it is close to mall and eating areas. I found a bottle top under the pillow. Concerned if beds were changed. Wifi was having issues. Not good reception. Unable to get my receipt when leaving because the system was down.Crumbs under couch bed. The vacuum was left in the pool while the children were trying to swim around the hoses. I did notice another hotel in this same general area and might try staying there next time.

Lovely facility. Great helpful staff. Quiet
- 2/5
For the price of the room, it is very basic. There is no breakfast included. They don’t even have coffee in the lobby. I was assigned a handicap room, which is great for people with handicap but terrible for somebody who doesn’t have one. There’s no space in the bathroom to even put your toiletries because they needed to save room for a wheelchair. The shampoo and conditioner dispensersin the shower were both empty.
- 5/5
Quick stay before leaving the next day, didn’t want to drive 2 hours from Sedona so we just stayed for one night, it was great
- 4/5
very nice stay

The room was not serviced at all. For the price we paid, we expect at least clean towels and the trash emptied daily.
- 3.5/5
The location near the Biltmore complexes, shops and restaurants is very good. Just off the 51 freeway. The room was not serviced at all. For the price we paid, we expect at least clean towels and the trash emptied daily.

location I called at 1:00 to ask when my room would be available. They said 2p. I arrived at 3p and it wasn't ready. They said policy is 4p and said they'd call as soon as it was available. I went back at 4:15 because they hadn't called. They ended up giving me a different room at about 4:30.

GOOD LOCATION

best hotel
- 4/5
Wonderful front desk staff member who was very attentive from the moment of first contact until checking out, very friendly, and personable. Clean property, did not eat breakfast as it is not complementary, no on-site lunch or dinner options, Starbucks on-site is not staffed and the front desk associates are expected to prepare orders and figure out how to make them upon request, nice pool and hot tub, quiet stay, mattresses need upgrading, we had less than half a roll of toilet paper for three people, ample nearby restaurant choices, multiple stores in immediate area.
- 5/5
Good location close to a target, Nordstrom Rack and Cheesecake Factory among others. Ataff really nice. Would stay again

Staff was incredible. Room was great. Super cozy! Thank you! 😊

- 2.5/5
The location was good It's in a shopping center so you have many good options for dining and shopping Bed very very uncomfortable Rooms are dated like, even the TVs are really old. Pool was nice but I have young kids and the people at the pool that day were adults and weren't very nice about kids in the pool So we only stayed about 10 minutes bc it was so uncomfortable Not the hotels fault obviously. The staff was very friendly at check in and check out

Had a great one night stay here. Super comfortable bed and clean room.
- 4/5
The shower was disappointing. The showerhead made it difficult to get clean and the chosen soap/shampoo/conditioner had a sickly sweet small.
- 5/5
Wendy, at the front desk, really made our trip so pleasant and memorable! She was so personable and went out of her way to help us with any questions. You can always ask if you need more towels, coffee, or a room refresh. The room was extremely quietwhich as a light sleeper. I appreciated. The hotel is in a mall so it is so easy to run over to Whole Foods or Trader Joe’s if you need any snacks. And there are great restaurants also within a two minute walk- so the location is perfect! It was 12 minute drive to the airport during rush-hour. It’s North of the city so easy to hop on the highway to go up to Sedona or head east to Lake Saguaro.
- 5/5
Walkable distance to places to eat or shop!! Very clean rooms and staff was good
- 4/5
This was my third or fourth time staying there, which says pretty much that it is a good place to stay. Unfortunately, I ended up paying over $300 per night due to Spring Training games going on and prices being hiked to the point of insult. That was the only thing I was upset about with this stay. It's not worth near that price per room and it just felt wrong to be a victim of gauging due to high bookings and such. In any case, I enjoyed my stay. The staff is always friendly and the rooms are clean. The bed was comfortable and the A/C worked well. My only complaints would be the lame water pressure in the shower, and yes, I understand water restriction saves water but if I spend twice as much time trying to wash off soap and shampoo due to that, is it really saving water?? I will definitely look to stay again as it's only about 10 minutes or so from my mom's house, so it can be convenient. Not ever again for what I paid though. I thought it was also a disappointment that I seem they offer senior citizen prices that did nothing to really ease the cost. Twin Peaks and other restaurants and bars are all nearby as well, which is a plus. Parking lot is convenient and you can park in the two-floor garage area with parking pass, when necessary.
- 4/5
Nice property. Quiet.
- 5/5
Great room and staff
- 3/5
As for the room, the room was average, but the refrigerator did not work, the water pressure in the shower was weak.
- 3/5
Carpet needs to replaced or cleaned. Bottom of shoes would leave black residue from carpets on tile.
- 4.5/5
Great location. Attentive and helpful staff at reception desk. Pool. The shower gel was empty but reception took care of it immediately. I discovered, as well, that the hand gel was empty but didn't alert reception. I didn't like the exorbitant price for a one-night's stay. I know it is Spring Break, but that price does not match the room.

The front desk staff was out of this world amazing! Friendly, efficient , helpful and always smiling. They made the stay even better, which the room was also great and the facilities are clean, GREAT location and lovely front lobby with just the right amenities! Will be back.
- 5/5
I felt safe. But they charge the room total, then half the charge one day and other half the next day. Even though all three charges were pending, it was real weird that they double charged in pending charges to my credit card. I did talk to the front desk after the first day and they said something was set up wrong but then the next day they charged me for another day so it's just all weird and felt uncomfortable.
- 5/5
overall nice hotel
- 3/5
Rooms were clean but poor condition very old
- 5/5
The front desk attendant was friendly and efficient. The room was spotless and had everything we needed. The entire hotel had a cozy and clean feel.

Staff was great. Rooms are nice.
- 4/5
Clean room. Great location
- 5/5
The staff was extremely friendly. The pool and courtyard are very pretty. Rooms are spacious. Beds are comfortable, and room was very quiet. It's in a great location.
- 3/5
Room was clean, but a bit dated.
- 3/5
The room was very clean and comfortable and the hotel itself is quite nice. However, we had an issue with the hotel's jacuzzi/hot tub. There was so much chlorine in it, that we weren't able to enjoy using it. Our skin itched terribly for several days afterwards, similar to a minor chemical burn, and the water actually changed the color of my bathing suit. I would strongly recommend the hotel to reduce the amount of chemicals they use in it. If management were to do this, I would consider staying again but not unless this change is made.
- 4/5
This place is in a good location near great restaurants and shopping. The rooms are a little tired but certainly still satisfactory. Staff was helpful. Especially, Christine at check in who was personable and took care of us. lol was fine. Water filling station that doesn’t work. Rock speakers that weren’t in. And a pool filter that I cleaned out due to debris backing up. Nothing that was a deal breaker for us, but the hotel itself lacked touches that make hotels feel special.
- 3/5
Average at best.

evening staff was very short and did not really take care of the customer's needs....No communication concerning the changes in room accomodations, between customer and staff....

- 3/5
The room was cleaned but the layout made it cramped. Not a fan of the bathroom sink being outside the bathroom. The shower water pressure was weak but the hot temp was good
- 5/5
Staff was great! Rooms were clean and everything was convenient!
- 5/5
Close to food and shopping.
- 5/5
nicely furnished room, very clean, everything worked well
- 1/5
My bathroom was dirty and I asked for two days for it to be cleaned and it wasn’t and they didn’t care that it was dirty
- 5/5
3rd time staying there, this time solo. It's my new favorite when I visit my mom in Phoenix. Close to a ton of restaurants, easy access to parking, seemed safe, and was a very comfortable bed and clean room.
- 5/5
Room was clean, the bed was very comfortable, and it was very easy to access. Staff is always friendly and they have a Starbucks in the hotel for those folks that like that. Next door to many locations for food and drink. I have stayed 3 times now and been happy. Prices are great as well compared to other spots.

Some stains on the ceilings
- 5/5
Location is perfect for our needs/wants We would have liked to sit by the fire but no one came to light it after we had asked the front desk

Front desk staff may have been either really ill or under the influence of something strong.
- 3.5/5
The bed was too hard. Remote and tv are out of date. Slow reaction
- 3.5/5
Location was good. Furniture upgrade. Telephone not working in room.
- 2/5
Other than that it was a value night in Phoenix. Parking is abundant and it’s next door to the Nordstrom Rack off of Camelback.
- 5/5
We like this hotel
- 4/5
Clean room. Near doors/elevator so a little noisy but not bad.
- 4/5
Nice clean room, quiet.
- 4.5/5
Wonderful N/A
- 3/5
At the room. When I got in, I sensed a bad smell. I discovered a container with rotten grapes inside in one of the cabinets. There was also a lot of crumbs on the sofa and all over the floor. Night stands, desk, tv stand were very dusty.
- 5/5
The staff was very accomodating, especially the front desk and housecleaning lady .
- 3/5
Location Pool closes a 9pm . period! Have to pay for breakfast Too much $ for quality Bathroom sucks. No fan. Worthless toilet paper. As much as it costs they can afford better tp
- 3/5
Comfortable and clean room on arrival, however there were no housekeeping services performed for our three day stay. Not that big of a deal to not have fresh sheets or towels everyday but the room coffee needs to be resupplied every day. Had to go ask for it at the front desk. Also, never saw any kind of breakfast food offered.
- 5/5
The staff was so nice and the hotel was was not only clean but beautiful. As a decor junkie, my compliments go out to whoever designed this hotel. I spent a lot of time noticing the exacting details in my room, not only in the furniture but in the repeating patterns in the carpet, drapes, wallpaper and pillows. I say bravo and ten thumbs up
- 4/5
Checked all the boxes i n terms of room amenities and the staff was polite and helpful.
- 3/5
The girl at the front desk was not helpful with anything she had an attitude. Not nice.
- 3/5
There was a big dog in the room next to ours that was barking and then later had a poop towel just laid out in the hall and reeked of dog poop on the way by that room.
- 4.5/5
Having just spent $240 for one night the day before in Flagstaff for a room that was subpar, it was a relief to have a decent price for this property. The hallway smell smelled a bit, and it was a bit dark as well.
- 5/5
Clean,frirndly staff
- 4/5
Room was clean and staff was great. Fridge was small. Parking and places to eat were great.
- 5/5
Great location! Clean and comfortable! Would definitely stay again!
- 1/5
Throughout the day, the furbo (dog camera) that i set up in my room recorded banging and my dogs were seen barking at the adjoining wall of the guest. She was clearly antagonizing my dogs. But instead of asking the guest to stop the banging - staff decided to cite me for my barking dogs and threatened to end my stay (without refund) if the dogs did not stop barking. Thankfully the guest checked out of the hotel the next day and my dogs were fine to stay in the hotel the rest of the stay.
- 3.5/5
Housekeeping is by appointment only. Facilities show their age.

- 4/5
Parking was easy.
- 5/5
All good! Nothing on my "did not like" list.
- 5/5
Was a comfortable stay.
- 4/5
Hot tub was great, except gates locked too early.
- 5/5
All in all the hotel and room was clean and welcoming. staff was friendly upon checking in and out. Parking was easy.
- 5/5
Great location in Phoenix’s very walkable Town & Country shopping, with restaurants, sports bar, shops, Trader Joe’s, Whole Foods. No issues with room, etc.
- 3/5
The biggest issue was a clogged drain in the tub/shower. My wife found herself calf high in backed up water and a very slippery tub surface. I had to shower in a different room because I didn't want maintenance coming to our room so early. The room i showered in also smelled of dog urine. Perhaps all the first floor rooms are dog friendly. Otherwise, the hotel is in a great location with convenient parking and friendly staff.
- 4/5
Kind staff, nice and spacious lobby. Rooms are a little dated but otherwise clean and quiet. Very convenient location with grocery, shopping and restaurants in the same center just steps away.
- 5/5
Clean room, good parking
- 5/5

- 5/5
convenient to shopping, great location with walking distance to many restaurants and shops. Lovely pool & hot tub
- 5/5
Great Service
- 5/5
Great location and very clean
- 5/5
My favorite part is the courtyard, however. There are lots of seating areas, a fire pit and comfy furniture. It's perfect for Arizona winters!
- 1/5
Outdated and dirty. I found small bugs in my room and the bathroom was dingy and the shower was a mess- none of the jobs were working, water was spraying out of all of the different nozzles. I showered at my friend’s house. Absolutely not worth the $500 for two nights. Outrageous for the experience.
- 5/5
This hotel far exceeded my expectations! The staff was delightful (particularly the AGM who assisted me a few times) and the facilities were clean and very nice. Not to mention I slept SO well on that very comfortable bed. I travel a lot for work and I’ll definitely return!
- 3/5
We tried to eat breakfast outside but the one table with 4 chairs they provided were filthy. We cleaned them ourselves and ended up with several black paper towels.
- 5/5

- 4/5
I didn’t get breakfast
- 3/5
Parking
- 5/5
front desk good, room cery nice, shopping and eateries walkable, easy parking
- 4/5
There were multiple annoyances such as: no ceiling lights, no light for the closet area, bathroom hook too high to reach, only one coffee packet, housekeeping every second day that did not include bed making.
- 4/5
Don’t know why there was no fan/exhaust in bathroom
- 2/5
Please do not stay here unless you absolutely have to. The property is damaged, the room was not clean. The pool area feels and smells like a bleach bath and the dont expect any modern amenities like a smart TV in the room. The staff is friendly and the location is OK, ill give them that but NOTHING else.
- 4/5
Excellent bang for your buck. Very nice.
- 4/5
Nice, clean, modern hotel. Staff was outstanding. Food options in hotel were limited but there were a number of restaurants
- 3/5
Room wasn’t clean. However they did give me a new room. I just would stay here again.
- 5/5
Great hotel good location
- 4/5
The sink had a flood! Cleaning staff should have reported the very slow drain!
- 5/5
Clean, great service and very comfortable
- 3/5
Noisy room, trucks driving by at 4:30 am
- 5/5
It showed a little wear and tear which is fine for the price.
- 4/5
Nice sized room, comfortable beds, kind staff
- 5/5
Very clean and updated. Air condition was a bit loud. Front desk during check in was very wonderful.
- 5/5
Nice hotel, very convenient location. Close to shopping and restaurants.
- 5/5
This is a convenient location for our stay. We come to the area several times a year and stay at the Sonesta Camelback it is clean staff are wonderful and we love the location.
- 3/5
Good, but could manage the noise around the property better. That includes stoping garbage trucks that come to the property from operating at 3AM and 4AM with loud noises. I do not believe anyone can sleep through that. Two hotel employees we spoke with agreed that the noise is terrible at night but confirmed to us there is nothing they can do about it.
- 5/5
Friendly and helpful staff, and spotless room and grounds👍
- 5/5
What a simple and wonderful experience!
- 5/5
I traveled with my SIL so it was nice to have restaurant options within walking distance that felt safe. The grocery stores close by also were great to get snacks. The room was clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful.
- 5/5
Room was clean, bed comfortable, nice amenities, great location!
- 5/5
Spectacular
- 5/5
Convenient for work!
- 5/5
Great service and room was clean and bed was comfy. No issues and look forward to Sonesta stay again in the future. Lots of things to do are close by, shopping, eating, entertainment. Love this area for things to do and proximity to so many good things to do. Hiking, amazing food places on Camelback and East Indian School and close to Old Scottsdale.
- 3/5
We noticed after check in that there was a used bar of soap with hair on it left in the shower. I went to the front desk and asked for someone to come take care of it. We left for about 6 hours and came back and it was still there. We ended up changing rooms as they had nobody at that time from the cleaning crew to take care of it. Won't stay there again.
- 5/5
always wonderful experience when I stay here.
- 5/5
This is my go to hotel when visiting my daughter at GCU

I like everything close to shopping dinning

The receptionist was the most kind, and respectful people that I’ve encountered in A WHILE! she needs a raise for owning and true definition of hospitality.

The staff and the hotel was amazing and friendly. I will return in the near future.

Maids left a dirty wash cloth on the sink. I had to move it with another cloth so I wouldn’t touch it. Room needed a bit of updating. Couch had a tear in the seam. Bathroom was tiny. Pillows were not good so it was hard to stay asleep. I would still stay again because the cost value matched what I was getting

Nice and comfortable. Clean room, nice pool. Covered parking. Friendly staff. Great location for shopping and dining. You can walk to a lot of restaurants and shopping.

Good hotel!

Just this last time I stayed checkout is a 11 okay but I had booked another night. He calls the room and I work remotely mind you and he is demanding that I come down to the front desk. Spoke to me as if I was 10 years old, the rooms paid for already what's the rush buddy. Guaranteed if it were any one of their regular type of guest it wouldn't be a problem. Oh absolutely sir that would be just fine sir Would there be anything I can get you till you come down sir. All the other staff amazing, but this really turned me away from staying here.

Good place, good price, good service.
- 3/5
Good location. Pool closes at 9 so barely after the sun sets. When it’s 115 during the day it would be nice to enjoy it later. Dark grey pallet throughout. We were upgraded to a suite because they overbooked which was ok. You can tell it was renovated but it’s still not my taste.

Good place surrounded by lot of shopping and food options

Clean and friendly

Very nice and comfortable. Friendly helpful staff

Had to come to town for family stuff. Location was great for where we had to be, but also with lots of restaurants, markets, shopping etc in the immediate area with no or minimal driving. Room was clean, we were not told at check/in you have to call in a day in advance to get room made up. Did call once to get trash emptied and replaced towels which was good enough. Quiet. Good pool. We will return.

Nice and safe place

The hotel was acceptable. The furnishing to nice the art was not nice in the rooms lol, I know its hard to make everyone happy but its my review. I paid for a breakfast. I had no idea. I was very sub standard as breakfast, but the coffee was very nice.

I liked the charm of the property. It was very relaxing and comfortable

Stayed at Sonesta Select due to A/C going out at home. The hotel was great. Front desk staff was friendly, welcoming, and informative. The hotel was clean and quiet. The room was clean and comfortable, evening with a small balcony that I didn’t book. I would definitely choose this hotel again if I needed an in-town stay.

Nice place to stay

Very nice place. We loved the location.

Sonesta Select was a very nice & clean hotel that was conveniently located not too far from my Dr’s offices. They have a beautiful courtyard that is lit up at night & a nice pool & jacuzzi. I was so pleased when I saw that our room had a refrigerator and microwave as well as a nice sitting area with a pullout couch. I seriously can’t say enough about their wonderful staff. The staff is very friendly and professional. Actually they were the nicest staff I have ever met at any hotel we have ever stayed at. I had booked our room for two nights & the morning we were supposed to check out, we found out that we needed to stay an extra night for another doctors appointment, so I called down to the front desk and Alex booked us for one more night without any hassle, questions, or problems. She and all of the other staff members, including the general manager, were very professional, helpful, super nice, and extremely accommodating. We will definitely be staying at Sonesta Select for all of our future medical appointments. Thank you so much Sonesta Select for a wonderful experience and stay.😊

Nice. Helpful. Good location. Not quiet. There was a constant roaring noise in the second-floor hallway. Air conditioning?? Also, we could hear neighbors’ TV at night.
- 5/5
The bed was very comfortable and was surprised to find the hotel in the middle of some nice retail stores and restaurants. Good location for us.
- 5/5
In town to visit family. This is located in a convenient place nearby.
- 4/5
It was a nice room
- 5/5
Loved everything except placement of the toilet paper holder. Had to turn sideways to get the paper off the roller.
- 4/5
It was clean safe smells clean reasonable price and staff were polite. Except no breakfast served in house except the commons Starbucks. Thank you.
- 4/5
Sonesta needs to catch up. There's not one USB plug in the entire room. I found out there are none to be found in the hotel. Other than that, the curved loveseat sofa is amazing. I'd stay here again but hoping this place comes into the new millennium.

Great stay! Very close to several shopping centers with more across the street. Absolutely loved the closest shopping district some days you could smell the fresh pizza from a small Italian restaurant. Room was comfortable, pool was clean, overall a great place to stay. Used ride shares to get around & had no issues. Would absolutely stay again

The bath and linens seem clean, but the carpet is questionable. Everything else is great! 8/10 👍

Everything was peaceful.

The area around this property has a lot of shipping and restaurants. Easy walk to the Biltmore fashion area (3 blocks or so). Also easy and free parking. Was quieter than expected given the location. Would stay again
- 4/5
Pool was decent size to wear out my boys. Haha
- 5/5
Breakfast was rather pricey. We plan to go back.

Great option near Biltmore Fashion park if looking to save a little. It has a nice little pool area and is within easy walking distance to the Biltmore shops. Plus there is a Whole Foods right next door.
- 5/5
Hotel was clean, rooms were clean, hotel fridge was smaller then normal so don’t expect to put much in it. Location was great! Close to fwy and tons of shopping, places to eat and pick up groceries
- 4/5
The air conditioner had a loud noise, that would wake me at night. Shower drain is clogged.
- 4/5
Great location and friendly employees!
- 3/5
The property was ok. The hallways and room carpet turned me off for the entire stay.
- 5/5
The carpets in the hallways need cleaning or updating, made the hallways look drab.
- 5/5
Nice stay for a wedding close by
- 3/5
Room smelled like feet.
- 3/5
Thin walls, dirty carpet - whole place needs some attention.
- 5/5
We stayed here for a soccer tournament. Everything was awesome!!
- 3/5
This was not my favorite place to stay.
- 5/5
The staff was very accommodating and let us upgrade our room free of charge so that we could have a balcony view. Also allowed early check in and late check out with charge waived, which was so generous and helpful. Will stay here again.
- 3/5
The location was the best thing about the hotel.

We had to leave at 2am due to being bitten all over body reported it to desk clerk Blake and emailed manager. Advised us to call hotel.com for full refund!
- 5/5
Besides the lady at the front desk checking us in who was extremely rude off the bat, no information, didn’t give us the vouchers, and only one room key to then return for the voucher lady by much more pleasant staff - the smoke director went off in the middle of the night and scared the begebiz out of us but everything else was beautiful, accommodating, purposeful, and exactly what we needed - beautiful space and conveniently located near everything ✨
- 4/5
Nice hotel but the mattress will leave your back hurting
- 5/5
Great place to stay. Very new and modern. Nice staff. Very clean
- 3/5
Quiet rooms, very tired. Old furniture, needs an upgrade of everything.

I came down with strep throat and had to leave early and the manager Rachel Fesler refused to not charge me when I left early and said because they were sold out they didn’t want to be helpful.
