We liked the swimming pool. My conference was literally across street from parking lot of hotel. Only 1 wobbly chair to round table to sit on. Rm 734 I had asked for a room with a view however after checking in, I had the view of the building next door. Rm 734 Room to small. Beds were double beds and I asked for Queen. Too small .

From the first greeting the staff was incredible. They made us feel very welcome The bar and restaurant are terrific with a wonderful atmosphere The pool is as good as it gets along with the fitness area. Heather, the pool bartender was friendly, welcoming, and fun. She genuinely was hospitable and helpful to everyone. This is the second time we have stayed at the Sheraton Downtown , and we will continue coming back. We absolutely will recommend the Sheraton to all our friends and family.

it is perfectly located in downtown, near convention center, an open and modern lobby. i loved the super angular view from 27th floor, beds are very comfortable AC a little noisy

Right opposite ISEF location , fantastic bedsheets , good suite rooms , managers on duty from Michele to Melanie were all absolutely fantastic Breakfast was blah see a pic of egg they made for me , staff Bri at time of check in was not nice

Accommodating

It started bad, there was wrong information on their website stating check-in ended at midnight, and my flight was delayed with me not arriving until after. Even with me calling multiple times, no one would answer the phone. I eventually just showed up and they allowed me to check in. Parking is $44 a day, and you have to verbally tell them that you're not having a car or they will charge you daily. Which doesn't make sense, because when my girlfriend showed up and parked, she pulled the slip from the parking kiosk. I scanned it and it charged me $44 (though I didn't read it and it says you can take it to the front desk to get it validated since they're charging you already), but when she pulled out, it STILL charged her another $13 to leave even though it was already paid for. The second night I didn't pay the $44 and it charged her $18 to leave. Almost as if you don't need to be charged $44 ENTIRELY. The pool is going to be jam packed with people, so get there early or you wont have a chair, I'm talking about 10am early (who the hell goes to the pool that early is BEYOND me). House keeping skipped my room EVERY DAY, the first two nights I had to call down to the front desk to get them to come up and clean my room, to where the third night I just said forget it and left it the way it was. Besides those little gripes, it was an awesome stay. The rooms and hotels are cleaned, the food was good (even though there weren't many options) and the staff is mostly helpful. 8/10 stay

Staff was rude, no one was there to help with my bags, I paid for late check out and they kept calling and knocking on the door bc I guess they weren’t telling each other that I had already paid for a late check out. It was really annoying.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The lobby was spacious and beautifully designed, making a great first impression. Everything was spotless, which I really appreciated. The staff was super friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with a smile. One of the highlights was dining at the restaurant, Carcara. This property needs a lot of work: the bathtub is peeling to the point there’s a large circle of worn out paint in the middle of the tub, the toilet makes running noises at all hours of the night and the air conditioning sounds like it has a small band housed inside of it. Additionally, it took over an hour (twice!) to receive towels and please don’t arrive after 11pm because the only food options available will be a $5 bag of chips and other overpriced snacks.

We paid using a company card on Booking.com, but were also charged to our personal cards we gave at check-in in case of damages/room service. While most of the charges were refunded, we are left submitting claims to Booking.com to get a refund on a room we already completely paid for.

The room was very noisy. Apparently there is no sound barrier between rooms. The next door neighbor neighbor had a phone call with her friend for over an half hour just as I was trying to fall asleep. I could hear every word and her noise level was intolorble. I would expect that at a cheap motel.

Location and room were excellent! Facilities were well cared for, clean and staff were attentive. Restaurant breakfast options were poor and expensive. Prices were much higher than expected by comparison especially when a lot of options are close by. MARRIOTT DOUBLE CHARGED FOR THE DESTINATION FEE. It's been over 2 weeks since my stay and I'm STILL dealing with Marriott/Sheraton to get a refund on this. The hotel will bill an invoice on checkout for taxes and "urban fees" that if you booked through booking.com, you paid for as destination fees. I argued with them on the phone and they verbally agreed but after another 10 days, I had to call Marriott back to find out and they decided that no they are different and they will not refund me the invoice. Thankfully, Booking.com also addressed it and did end up refunding me the invoice amount I was charged. The hotel itself is great but the after stay billing headache and SNEAKY DOUBLE CHARGING is absolutely SCUMMY.

The towels are wash clothes were so used it was nasty to think about putting them on your skin or face. The trash was never picked up by the doors. I could not get coffee for free and the towels and wash clothes were extremely used and dingy. The bed was not very comfortable.

Everyone was incredibly professional and friendly! The hotel is beautiful! Lobby is gorgeous and has a coffee shop and bakery! The bar has great knowledgeable bartenders and very friendly!!! The outdoor restaurant that's attached is GORGEOUS and the food is amazing!!!!

Very clean room and loved the smell (and bath products, I actually went online later and bought some!). The front desk were so nice and accommodating. After my flight got cancelled, I went right back there and stayed one more night rather than stay closer to the airport. I chose to travel there on the trains, and it was very easy.

The Sheraton Downtown Phoenix was clean and the staff was friendly. The restaurants had good food, not spectacular but good. The pool was nice and the bartender at the pool was very attentive. The property was fine The staff treated my daughter very rudely on more than one occasion and she was charged 76$ for parking! A parking spot she had to search for on her own. There was no indication that this hotel charged for parking other than if you wanted valet which she didn’t use! She then received a phone call from the front desk the following day while at lunch in the hotel that her dog was barking and disturbing another guest so she quickly went back to her room to check on her dog only to find out that the staff had locked her out of her room! She couldn’t get in to calm her dog, she then had to wait almost 30 minutes for security to come and open her room. The security guard was rude as well as the person at the front desk. She decided to cut her visit short and checked out early.

I would have given a better review, but I didn't enjoy my stay due to staff's failure to resolve a reported issue at the beginning of my stay. The shower head was not working, and I ask if it could be looked at. The clerk (Aliyah) assured me that she would send someone to my room to inspect it, which she never did. The next day, same thing, no one was ever sent to fix the shower. I mention this again to the clerk Aliyah and no response. I ended up having to use the hand attachment the entire stay. At check out 2 days later, I mentioned this issue to her again, and she failed to apologize nor ofter me any credit towards my stay. Lastly, as a Sheraton member, I asked her if I received my daily credit for my food/drinks for the day, and she stated Yes. As I was leaving, I checked the charges on my bill and noticed that she did not enter the daily credit, and I had to return back to the hotel and spoke with another clerk who confirmed that I did not receive the credit, and she refunded the amount and reissued me a final check-out receipt. As a Sheraton Hotel, I expected the concern with the shower to be addressed immediately, and it wasn't. My organization paid a lot of money to have Sheraton host a two-day event including reservations for several hundreds guests. I was not happy with the lack of response to a simple concern. Nobody ever stopped by the room to inspect the shower, the staff did not call or ask how to make my stay better or even offer me a different room.

I liked the check-in process. It was the host site for our organization meetings. So it was very convenient. Located next to the Convention Center. The knowledge of the front desk. They had no knowledge that we were using almost the entire floor. I had to walk around to find my meeting rooms. Housekeeping was not great.

We stayed on a high level floor and loved having a separate elevator for the higher level floors because I really didn’t have to stop on the 4th floor if I’m staying in the 31st floor. Was really convenient. The staff was great and helpful even with a convention going on and the hotel being so busy the staff still was attentive. My room was great and spacioius. The free drinks, hors d’oeuvres, and etc was a welcome addition when staying on the club level.

The food at the restaurant was bad. Tasteless and expensive. The staff needs to be a little more friendly. The staff at &More cafe was rude, front desk wasn't nice. The only staff that was friendly were the valet employees. Otherwise, the hotel was nice, clean and quiet.

I always love your coffee shop offerings and small bites ; I forgot to use the pool but I was so busy doing other fun things !!! I keep coming back to this particular property year after year with my kids and it’s always a pleasant stay The elevator doesn’t always read the room key or it takes several tries before it reads it and sometimes another person would swipe their card first and we had to wait for them to get off to attempt to swipe our card again and hopefully go to our specific floor

I've stayed at the Sheraton Downtown Phoenix for the conference the last two years. It's always very clean, quite, and staff is helpful and friendly. Across the street from the Arizona Ctr and easy to walk to area restaurants and attractions. I look forward to returning next year too.

Only complaint I had was the extended period of time exiting the parking deck. Other than that the property was very nice. Staff were friendly and rooms were cleaned daily which I loved.

Every few weeks we book a room in downtown phx to have fun on Roosevelt row. Out of all the hotels we have stayed at on an upper scale- so far this one was the best. Good clean rooms, beautiful scene outside your window , beds legit , pillows legit , walking distance to downtown and easy check in! Will definitely be staying. Here again

Clearly the best downtown hotel in PHX. Was there for PDFC Furcon the staff is fun and that really helps make the event great. Lobby bar with its trendy decor giant TV's and A service is top notch. Always something going on there.

This hotel was nice. We were there for a conference in December and it was cold in the hotel. The restaurant had the wall of windows open and it was freezing. The room was comfortable and the staff was super friendly. Also, make sure to try the self driving cars in the city! Waymo self driving cars were amazing.

Great location, was able to walk to wedding venue. Unfortunately room was close to outdoor “event center” that was part of hotel and 2 nights couldn’t sleep due to noise. Wastebaskets were too small - trash was overflowing by the time we checked out after 3 nights. Room was nice, bed comfy, shower great.

The hotel was clean and convenient. If I signed up for their rewards program I could get free WiFi but only for a couple devices. This meant my children couldn’t log on to the WiFi without paying $18 a day. This is a bit ridiculous and a pain. The pool is a salt water lap pool. This is obviously a conference/ business hotel, NOT good for families.

An actual lap pool! That is SO rare in hotels these days, and for people like me (artificial discs in back, I NEED to swim each day) it's a VERY welcome feature. Also, like the new TV system (allowing us to access our own Netflix, Pluto etc. accounts). Didn't have time to try food options or do much else, GREAT parking on site. Will stay there again.

Had a great stay here recently. Parking facilities easy to use and safe. Friendly staff. Clean rooms. Comfortable beds. Good dining options. I felt like it was an older business crowd when we were there. Fitness facility and pool were great and not too busy. Mall across the street isn’t really a mall. Lots to explore in the area. Delicious coffee at the lobby cafe. Would recommend.

Good place to stay near ASU. Reasonable room price. Only thing is all destination fees or promotions should be applied when checking in to hotel. I had to remind front desk to apply credits on food and beverages and to remove internet charges upon check out. Check out should be much smoother.

The location wasn’t the best specially out side went for a walk and saw homeless people I know and understand some can’t help it but made us feel a little unsafe. Inside the hotel was very nice .

Very good sized room for the price. The bed and AC were good. The trashcan for guests could have been bigger, but still a good accommodation.

They also do not have a microwave. Which has become a staple in rooms.

Our stay was very pleasurable. The hotel is convenient to downtown, concerts,sports etc. My only suggestion would be to put microwave in the room for convenience.

It was great except for the $75 charge that wasn’t in the details.

We booked this hotel 3x months prior to arrival. We got our reservation cancelled 2x days before the trip for some reason. When we called back to rebook, we had to pay an extra $379 for the exact same room we had booked. This is pure robbery.....

Amazing location!

The only thing that I did not like was the soap in the guest rooms - it was kinda masculine smelling. Not unisex at all.

Stayed at Sheraton Phoenix Downtown March 2024 for a medical conference. Truly walking distance to convention center and pretty much all the nice places to eat downtown. I also run in mornings, so being in a populated safe area was a plus. The restaurant on site is superb. Had lunch there twice. I would have liked some complementary water and coffee in lobby. As those two things are a friendly welcoming touch. Room was very clean and roomy, bed comfortable, AC temp was accurate. Overall 5 stars, suites purpose with some added luxury.

Limited dining options had to go out and I dislike that I was been charged $5 for delivery or service fee to bring me a $25 burger without taste to the room. Seriously? After paying all that money for room and overnight parking lot. Next time I stay in airbnb.

Really updated and modern hotel. Staff were very friendly. Couldn’t have been better!

We were disappointed that after the concert and we returned to the Hotel, there was no place to get anything to eat. The price of drinks (beer and Bloody Mary) were really ridiculous. Otherwise, the room was comfortable. Every associate we spoke to was friendly, professional and kind.

Everything was very good-extra positive was the help that Nathan in valet assisted to get pedicab to transport me to Chase Field (I have walking issues). I could never get internet on my I-phone but could on laptop.

They consider the fact that they have a dry climate and offer free water to their clients (most hotels make you pay) and are very happy to answer any questions when you call down to the concierge (I called many times).

Streaming services were down. Not good
