Amazing hotel right next to the airport! I’ve stayed in several airport hotels, and this by far was the nicest, cleanest, and quietest one I’ve experienced. I highly recommend staying here, whether you are using the airport or not!

I wish I would have taken advantage of the breakfast but the bed was so comfy. It was hard to wake up. Loved the stay!

Great hotel, super clean, very friendly staff, we left when they were just starting to set up breakfast but it looked fantastic as well. Our only complaints were the creaky bathroom door and the sofa bed. That sofa bed should not be counted as a bed. It was so old that you could feel every spring and bar underneath. It was impossible to sleep on, even for kids.

The staff was very helpful, friendly and ready to assist. Breakfast was good. Pool didn’t look terribly appealing but was surprisingly refreshing and a nice break on a hot day! Daily breakfast was good even as a vegetarian. Very quick access to Tempe, to the highway taking you where you want to go and close by the airport but no plane noise. My ASU college grad daughter left her diploma holder in the room and even after 5 days after check out, I was able to call and housekeeping had located it and we got it shipped to us in Florida! Thank you!

The bed sheet did not fit the bed adequately so I had to keep pulling it down over the corner and I could see dirty stains on the side of the mattress pad. I did not get a chance to call to have the bed sheets changed, as i was out late and did not want to wait for it before going to bed the 2nd night.

The staff wasn’t friendly at all when we arrived and checked in. Breakfast was very very minimal. I know it’s just a basic free breakfast but it was probably the worst meal options and taste I have had at a hotel. The only pro was that the room was very clean and so was the property itself.

The pillows could have been better. The shower head didn’t spray good. The pullout couch was not comfortable.

Breakfast had good options including cage free eggs. The smell in the room was an overpowering scent of powder mixed with floral. Gave me a headache and made me wonder what they were covering up. Dirty washcloth on the shower floor of the room I moved to trying to get away from the smell. They found a room where they had forgotten to spray the scent in.

This is a good, to reasonably priced hotel to stay in of your like to be close to the airport. It's showing a little age and could use some maintenance. For example the water in the tub kept dripping all the time and some of the drawers didn't close properly. But overall of stay here again.

The staff were always friendly, greeting us as we left and returned, they would ask us about our adventures. Special shout out to Gabriel who we often saw and chatted with at length. The property was always clean. The pool was a very popular spot, well situated for all the guests with peak sun and shade times. It was a well received stay.

We had a quick, one night stay but it’s what you come to expect with Marriott - clean and high quality building and rooms, helpful staff and a genuine feeling of home away from home. At this specific location, the staff was quick to sign us in. I was at the front desk and handed my room key in less than a minute. We wanted to try the complimentary breakfast but couldn’t because of an early flight. 10/10 would recommend and will be going back to this spot the next time we’re in Phoenix. Being close to the airport was an additional bonus

Mostly great experience, however the pool hours were kind fo short and the beds were rock hard.

The room key and/or door was a little tricky and didn’t always work on the first try—we often had to scan several times to get in. The TV remote worked, but the guide did not, and there was no option to connect to Netflix or other streaming accounts, so we found ourselves flipping through channels like it was the 90s. The hotel did provide shampoo and body wash, but the conditioner was either empty or the dispenser wasn’t working. Breakfast was okay—fairly basic. One day included eggs, sausage, waffles, and potatoes; another day had eggs, bacon, waffles, and quiche. Both days also offered standard items like bagels, muffins, toast, cereal, fruit (oranges, apples, and bananas), oatmeal, coffee, tea, and milk. They may have had yogurt as well, but I’m not certain. It was a bit surprising that there was no juice available at all. The front desk staff were wonderful—very kind and friendly. Unfortunately, the breakfast staff had a very different demeanor. Interactions felt abrupt and somewhat rude, and they seemed annoyed while doing their job, which impacted the experience. Housekeeping was inconsistent—towels refreshed and bed straightened, but sheets weren’t changed and the foldout bed was left messy, which was unusual.

The room was more than comfortable. The amenities were very helpful, such as the large refrigerator/freezer, dishwasher, stove top and plates/utensils. The bathroom was very clean and freshly renovated. Overall very satisfied with my stay.

One of the nicer Residence Inns I have stayed at. Unit was clean and on the newer side.

1) The elevator closest to our room was not working. 2) The refrigerator was loud (I know you can't always help that). 3) The fan in the bathroom was also loud. Don't take it as a criticism, just areas that could be improved.

Salt water pool, hot breakfast included Had to use a pull out sofa - wish they had extra pillows and sheets available without us having to call for them. We wish also that in reserving this for four people that we would have had 4 sets of towels instead of having to ask for more.

We didn't get to try the pool but the gym was laughable. Really old equipment. I believe there were 3 pieces of equipment and dumbbells which had some missing. The gym was smaller than a single car garage.

Our room was very spacious and close to the elevator. I was given the choice of a lower floor or upper floor, and they were able to accommodate an upper floor room, which was nice. Our room was overlooking the pool area, which was maybe the worst part of our stay, because the pool area was very loud and our room windows seemed very thin. We would've asked to move, but we had already settled in before the noise started. Full, free breakfast in the morning was nice. Noise from the street was not nice, as there was roadwork going on during our entire stay.

The room was very clean, the shower was great, the bed comfy and the breakfast had good choices. the staff was helpful. Plenty of free parking. Right next to Loop 202 with many places to eat within a mile down 44th Street.

Room was clean but found a couple little spiders in the room. The popcorn ceiling looks like it had a leak and was never repaired. The bathroom fan wasn’t working. The bed sank too much when you laid in it and the $10 parking fee might as well be added to the room instead, makes people feel ripped off. Would not rebook this hotel again.

There was no acknowledgment of the circumstances — stranded at 12:30 in the morning without transportation, local knowledge, or a place to stay. I asked whether he could assist in contacting nearby hotels so we would not have to Uber from location to location at that late hour. He declined. He also did not request my information to initiate a refund or follow up regarding the denied reservation. I proactively provided my contact information and requested that a manager reach out the following day. To date, I have not been contacted, nor have I received a refund for the room that was reserved but not honored. When I attempted to contact management using the phone number provided at the desk, the call routed to a generic Marriott corporate recording, with no ability to reach property leadership. This experience reflects a complete failure in customer service, accountability, and basic professionalism. A confirmed reservation was not honored,

However, the email I received clearly stated that the charge was for one night plus tax — not a deposit. I even provided a copy of the email for clarification, yet it was implied that I had misunderstood the message. When I called the hotel again, I was told that deposits are actually charged at the hotel upon arrival, which only added to my confusion as to why I had received the email in the first place. I was ultimately told there had been a miscommunication. The entire experience was stressful and frustrating, especially before my stay had even begun. Due to the confusion, lack of clear communication, and unnecessary anxiety caused, I would not choose to stay here again nor would I recommend this property to others.

Pillows were all awful and barely usable. The heating/cooling register for the bed area is in a location that blows directly on the bed. every time the a/c comes on it blows right on your face. We have stayed in other Residence Inns which were just overall nicer

Room was not restocked daily and even though things were done you could tell the staff was cutting corners. When we checked in there was a small amounts of food behind bed on floor and the dust was intense. Towels looked like they needed to be upgraded from wear and tear. Overall not worth complaining but nothing stood out that would make me want to return.

I liked that they had a gym and the beds were comfortable. The setup, I couldn't take an elevator from the lobby to get to my room. I had to walk out to my car and drive around the building to a door labeled with a number, then take an elevator to get to my room. It was a minor inconvenience.

1 bedroom suite was cozy and roomy enough for two of us for 4 nights. Breakfast was very good every morning with lots of variety.

This location was a quick ride from the airport. Our rooms were spacious with a refrigerator and oven in suite. Breakfast each morning was amazing with a lot to choose from. Everything was quite at night when we needed to sleep. The pool was a little smaller than we expected and the layout of the hotel was a little strange. Nothing that was a deal breaker, but if you are expecting more you would be disappointed.

When I booked through Booking.com I was told the hotel offered an airport shuttle with a wheelchair. That was not true.

I liked the convenience from the airport. My flight was cancelled for 24 hours and I did not want to sleep in the airport. I liked the pool and fitness center but couldn't use them because I couldn't get my checked luggage from the airport for my bathing suit and fitness clothes. The room was very spacious and I slept well. The mattress needs to be replaced. It appears everyone that ever had that room slept on the side closest to the bathroom which was 6" lower than the side next to the window. And the noise from the elevator that was against my wall was annoying. The breakfast was not for me....no healthy options and the bananas were solid green.

Great breakfast! Everything I needed (wanted) to eat before I hit the road on long trip back to Albuquerque, NM. Coffee was hot, juices was perfect ... and we loved the crispy bacon and delicious scrambled eggs. The yogurt topped off the perfect breakfast!

No surprises, which means we had a good stay. I reported a broken bathroom door upon leaving, which prevented it from closing. Other than that, everything was good. Unlike many hotels that advertise a heated pool, their pool was up and working. Breakfast was well attended by service staff. My only suggestion is to get more than one waffle machine. There was a long line of people making their own waffles. We strongly recommend this place.

We enjoyed the fresh oatmeal with the many toppings. The decaf is first rate. The mattress was replaced with a more comfortable one! We even extended our stay.

We had an outstanding stay while in town for Thanksgiving! It was centrally located, the staff was very accommodating, we had a full kitchen to warm our Thanksgiving dishes, and it was very reasonably priced. It was very quiet and clean. We will definitely stay here again!

Check-in was fast, room was spacious with nice kitchen, bed was very comfortable, pool was refreshing, and breakfast was pretty good (and free!).

All of the staff members were courteous except for one female employee with red hair. She came out of the elevator with a trash cart and didn’t say “excuse me.” Instead, she pushed the cart through as if we were in her way, and it felt very dismissive. I addressed it in the moment and also reported it to the front desk, as it wasn’t the level of service I expect.

We were very concerned when we pulled in and saw signs posted stating motel not responsible for any damages to car, park at your own risk, etc. We went in talked with the front desk and they assured us the signs are for motels protection and security is good at night. So we took a chance and stayed. We were not sorry! We would definitely stay here again. All of the staff was friendly and went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. Only suggestion is to replace some of their pool furniture. Several chairs and lounges were torn.

Room was pretty clean overall, modern decors, but the pillows were very uncomfortable. All staff were very friendly, but our room didnt get any room services for the 3 nights stay.

Room was clean and comfortable. Until the HVAC turned on. Every time the air conditioner turned out throughout the night, it sounded like a train slamming into the building. My travel companion and I were woken up each time it turned on but it was too hot not to have it on. When I let the front desk agent know at checkout, she simply said “It shouldn’t do that, I’ll let maintenance know.” I reiterated the inconvenience, but she offered no apologies or compensation in any form.

Overall value was excellent. Studio room with kitchen was nice. Breakfast options were great. We’d stay here again if we were in the area.

The rooms are big, well organized, with a kitchen and comfortable furniture as well. Breakfast is provided and served as early as 6am. The staff is amazing . There's also plenty of free parking and the area is convenient, just a few miles from the airport.

Very convenient location for us, room was a great size. Mattress was worn out in bedroom, electrical outlet did not have a cover protector in hallway a child could stick finger in the outlet and injure themselves. The wallpaper in hallway was partially ripped, elevator needed greasing very loud when closing

I enjoy Residence Inns. I feel at home there. And every area can use a tweak including my own kitchen. Ha.

It was dingy, very poorly maintained, the ADA room was terrible. The bed was about 6” from the floor and an old saggy bed that was impossible for a handicapped person to get out of the bed without help. It was definitely NOT what I expected from a Marriott.

The breakfast was horrible. The turkey sausage was so dry you couldn't cut it with a knife. The powdered eggs were horrible. It just was bad. The hotel is older, the ice maker in the fridge didn't work, and the shower drain was partially clogged so you could only take quick showers before the standing water would raise above the threshold. I would not stay there again.

Sadly, the hotel didnt think about it when they put the allergy free rooms right near the standard laundry room way up on fourth floor… that people with allergies or medical needs have to walk through more allergens and harsh chemicals to get to the allergy free room. Although I am thankful this hotel is participating in this Pure Wellness program, just had a few issues. I will say the management at the hotel is very nice and professional. Everyone at the front desk and the manage, Francene, was very helpful in my struggles. The room was cleaned with harsh chemical soap but she did move me to another allergy free room. Overall a good stay, just some things that were hard for me as an allergy sufferer who is undergoing medical treatment to go through. The breakfast needs *more vegan options.* They did have almond milk but hot food wise nothing. I would stay again and did twice but still tryin to find a better fit for my specific needs ! Appreciate the staff trying! 🙌

Close to airport , and away from crowded areas. Worked well for a quick 2 day trip.

The property is perfect if you need a place near the airport. I did not like the fee for parking a car.

The king room was so nice, comfortable, clean and huge! The room smelled so nice upon entering. There is a lot of outlets to plug in anything and everything! The shower was nice and the bed was so comfortable. The breakfast was better than I expected, honestly we were tempted to stay another day!! All of the employees we encountered were very nice, we would absolutely stay here again.

Don't like seeing a police car parked outside front door when I depart for dinner.

The only downside was the air conditioning. It was pretty loud and blew air directly onto the bed, which made it hard to sleep through the night without waking up. Definitely could use an update. Other than that, it was a nice stay.

We did not stay the property smelled moldy and it was hard for my wife to breathe so we left after 5 minutes at the property.

The hotel overall is a very pretty property. The bed was not comfortable, very lumpy and had dips all over. The restroom sink was a single so my sister and I struggled to put on our makeup.

It was great hotel great service wonder breakfast and amazing two great staff the one name Fredo if am not mistaken his name he is in engineering who is trying his best to fixing the AC and shower he is great even check on my AC twice and one lady work at front desk i forgot to ask her name she is Hispanic and i think she's one of the manager i guess not sure but she is tall a little looks like Puerto Rican but she's absolutely amazing. Great locations close to everything airport groceries restaurant coffeehouse and transportation the only wasn't great is the AC not working well not cold as many of hotel i have stayed many times i have to turning off the AC because im freezing but this one no good they give me Fan to use it they do their best to accommodate my needs even trying to moved me to other rooms but when I tried feels like the AC the same and other part the shower wasn't great the shower head barely no water comes out and not strong but the rest than that great Residence Inn Marriott Hotel alway my favorite place to stay

This residence inn was very clean and very well put together. Breakfast in the morning was great. The room and restroom were clean and the bed was very comfortable. Would definitely be coming back.

Upon check in I proceeded to my room on the first floor only to find the window wide open to the outside, no screen in the window. Lights were on in the bathroom. The hallway smelled of a foul fish odor of long. Permeated the entire floor. So vile, intrusive. Families seemed to be living there.

Amazing Hotel ...Very Clean Studio Suite for very reasonable...check in was easy and quick and the breakfast buffet was great! Pool and Hot tub was relaxing at night! We'll come back again

Loved the layout of the room with full kitchen! Awesome. Mom preference: sink outside the toilet/shower room! Didn't like paying for parking. :( But parking was plentiful. Excellent breakfast. Beautiful pool and grounds. Rooms seemed really spread out, so you get in your steps walking back and forth to the room/exercise room/ pool/kitchen areas. That was great for us!

This may become my go to stay for Phoenix. Very higher recommend this place due to price, and more suite than hotel room.

Great property! I came to stay and see a concert in Glendale but spend most of my time in Tempe and this was an ideal location! I’ll be back for sure.

Rooms were not cleaned fully or regularly. Dirty rooms upon check-in. Issues with door locks, found out doors open multiple times. The front desk staff acknowledged these issues and said facilities could not fix, just to @desl with it”. Very unsafe part of town, the security team even admits it’s a joke—no cameras. We caught somebody trying to break into our truck in the parking lot and had to scare them away. Received false scam claims that we hit other cars in the parking lot. Front desk team was unresponsive and not helpful. Would not recommend—not for family, not for business. Steer clear and avoid at all costs.

Would not recommend to anyone who gets stuck in Phoenix airport due to canceled flight. The property is approximately 2 miles from the airport and the hotel provides not transportation to their location. So if you think the prices are good you will be deceived because with the Uber/Lyft you will have to pay for you can add another $30-$40(min of $13 each way)on top your room price. With that said pay the higher price at another hotel that actually has an airport shuttle you will likely save yourself money

Quiet and clean

My sister and I stayed here one night while driving from Califfornia to Texas. We particularly enjoyed the pool, which was a welcome relief in the heat. The room was clean and nice, and we appreciated having the kitchenette, as we were able to pick up some healthier food (salads and soup) at a local grocery store and not have to rely on fast food.

The property was very clean, good breakfast and friendly people.

The place was very clean, staff were very friendly, felt very comfortable, the complimentary breakfast options were great. The only reason why its not a 5 star is that the tv is basic channels with commercials there were no movie channels but if I could of I would have rated it 4.5 stars

This hotel was absolutely amazing. We definitely go there again as I checked in. I was tired from driving. I was graded with some lemon water with some amazing chocolate chip cookies. Front desk was super sweet and nice when I went to the room clean big spacious whole kitchenette fridge stove the pool was so clean they change The pool furniture every day highly recommend 10 out of 10.

The entire hotel needs updating better ventilation in the rooms. The room was dark with only 1 window. The housekeepers seemed under appreciated & I overheard complaints about not being paid for overtime. We had to ask for soap & towels. We used the poolside grill & they had grill utensils. We spent the entire day by the pool & my grands loved it. We played games in the lobby. I will try a different airport hotel in my next visit.

Although it wasn't the fault of the hotel there was a horrible stench outside when I arrived, no idea what it was but it smelled like a open sewer. I'm not sure if that is just Phoenix or the immediate area, however everything else was exceptional.

Phoenix it’s too hoy; i was in a upper floor and the ac don’t was working good, i put the claim and the chances me to the first floor and the ac worked amazing; Marriott never will fail you
