Reviews
The hotel generally receives positive reviews for its cleanliness, spacious rooms, and friendly staff. However, there are consistent complaints about the pool not being clean or well-maintained, and issues with the front desk not addressing maintenance requests promptly. Some guests also mention being charged extra fees for parking and additional guests.

Was it happy with the place at all? They accused me of smoking in their room and I don't smoke. I have not smoked in over 10 years. I have severe COPD. And they charged me $300, and I'm not happy about it. They said it was because I lit a candle. I had no idea I was not allowed to do that. I've been staying, there's many, many years and I have never been told I was not allowed to light a candle.

This was a nice place to stay in a pinch, really helped put my wife at ease before a big international trip

Keep prices low please. Nice place for the money!

There was a tree outside covered with large roaches, the room had a bad odor, and the key cards rarely worked. The bathtub also drained very poorly, causing water to back up every time it was used. I asked multiple times to speak with the manager, Danielle Sonn. I waited over an hour with my husband and children, but she never came out because she was supposedly “too busy.” I was told to come back later, so I returned two hours afterward, only to be told again that she was too busy and that I should send an email instead. I emailed as instructed and never received a response. Overall, this was an extremely disappointing experience. Poor customer service, lack of communication, and unacceptable room conditions made for a terrible stay. I would not recommend this hotel.

Clean and secure. It was all good.
- 2/5
I like the pool and the location of our room to the pool. The shuttle to the airport was smooth and timely. The floor plan of the room was really cool as well. They nickel and dimed toooo much. $20 for a breakfast buffet that was awful. The free continentals at most other hotels are waaay better tasting. For $20, I expected a delicious hot breakfast. Then to pay $15/day for parking? Insanity.
- 3/5
The rooms were extremely dark with limited light may be due to room layout.
- 5/5
The elevators still hadn't been fixed since we were there the week before.
- 4/5
Nice rooms, clean, nice patio and pool areas. Only 2 negatives. They charge extra $15 per night for parking in their large surface parking lot. This is not well advertised until you arrive and see the signs. Also, the breakfast is rather pricey for what they offer. Suggest you skip it and go to one of the many local breakfst places. Otherwise, it was a 5-starr experience.
- 5/5
Nice place has transportation for the airport
- 3/5
The elevator was out-very inconvenient. One was still working but it was a huge hotel to navigate. I did not feel super safe there as a solo traveling female. Since I arrived late at night, I went out to grab some food and the surrounding area was a little sketchy. I did not realize you had to pay for parking. I would have put that extra money towards a better hotel. Staff was super nice.

The beds were very firm. We had 5 people and yet no linen for the 3rd bed. The girl at the front desk was flat affected.
- 4/5
The hotel shuttle to the airport was a nice benefit.
- 3/5
The room was nice, the extra fees were insane. They want $250 to hold for 7-10 days after we arrived. They wanted parking paid nightly and left a notice on our car to pay for an extra night of parking before we even checked out of our room the last day. The pool and hot tub were nice to have available in the heat, but were full of plant debris the entire 4 days we were there. Breakfast is $20 per person. The kitchenette room was just a mini fridge, sink, and microwave. Staff was friendly!

Short drive to air port very efficient

DONT stay here. I have never in life experienced such a horrible hotel. First, house keeping does not come to clean your room daily unless you ask them at the front desk. The room is dirty. Sink is inside the bedroom and not the bathroom. As you’re brushing your teeth and washing hour face, water drips down on the carpet. Very unsanitary. The worst part of all was the day we checked out. We were hit with a $500 smoking fee!! Guess what? We NEVER even smoked anywhere near the hotel. We traveled with our infant daughter and my husband would never smoke anywhere near her. I was using my Shark curling wand, which lets off a lot of steam, it made the room smoky and “sets off their smoke sensor”. Which we weren’t informed until the day we checked out. I ask to speak to a manager, in which we were ignored twice. We had to raise our voices for the GM Danielle Sonn to come acknowledge us. She has got to be the worst human being. She spoke to us in such a condescending and arrogant tone. As if we were beneath her. She promised she would assessed the situation and simply left us a voicemail that the charges stands because the smoking sensor has to be absolutely correct. There’s no way it could’ve mistaken the steam from my curling iron for smoke. The day before I saw an elder couple adamantly saying they don’t even smoke and got charge a smoking fee. This has got to be a common practice at this location to generate additional income. Very disappointing. Back to Airbnb we go!

The AC made a loud clunk when it shut off and there were weird sounds like someone above us moving furniture.
- 5/5
Really liked the breakfast buffet and restaurant on site.
- 1.5/5
It could be a nice facility. It’s pretty We didn’t have complimentary breakfast The images of what I booked did not match the room. The key cards don’t work. Had to get them reset all the time. Also a problem using other entrances with key cards. Room service didn’t make beds. Ran out of toilet paper. Pool had gook on the bottom. Hot tub had stuff on bottom. Elevator by room was broke.

I had burnt popcorn in my room causing it to be smoked out. I then got a prompt call at 9 AM telling me to pay almost double the deposit or get off the property, or have the police escort me and my children out. I tried to explain my situation and I was met with attitude like I was trying to get away with something. I understand a smoking policy but they had non hospital attitude from the jump, they weren't helpful, and straight up rude. It felt like a ploy to get peoples deposits. I saw a lot of reviews stating a similar situation and still didn't think it would be me.
- 4/5
Didn’t like that there was a $250 deposit. Under the sink was dirty and where coffee was the cabinet below had coffee still running down the door and dried up. Lap near front door was very dusty.

Bad
- 1/5
This hotel would've been fine if it didn't have such an insane deposit hold amount. The room itself was cheaper, only $130.
- 1/5
This location was very much going through some kind of major issues, everything was out of order, the elevators, the lobby coffee machines, no bar was open any of the days we were there, the ice machines were down and the keys to every entry of the hotel never worked. You had to try 5-6 times before you could get the key to enter the gates and the rooms. We also got locked out on the balcony of our room for over 1 hour, thank god we had a phone to call the front desk, the sliding door locked in the inside when it slid shut, they finally got into the room after having to break the glass, to get us free and moved us into a room at 3am that smelled like a foot locker and then moved us again the next day to a new room that was good. They gave us 2 free drink tickets for our inconveniences that ended up only being good at the front desk for drinks. The night staff was terrible with communication and the manager that came in seemed like we were inconveniencing him, which was no fault of ours. BAD OLD carpets, keys never work, everything is OUT of ORDER, restaurant staff was amazing and the front desk Crystal and another girl with glasses were very friendly and nice. Would not recommend this Hotel!!
- 5/5
Highly recommend for anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay.

Property was dirty none of the elevators were working conditions. Front desk representative had attitude when asked a question.

We did not end up staying at this property. We arrived and the area was a bad area of town, the lobby was filthy. This property did not look like the pictures. The key to the door would not unlock and we had to attempt it 5 times before it opened. The room smelt horrible, the colors were dark brown and very dated (1980's). The patio furniture was faded and the cushions were ripped. We went back to the office and checked out and asked for a refund. The best thing about this property was the young lady who helped us and when we can back she gave us a look like she understood. She should be working in a higher class hotel. This was a -0 in our opinion of a hotel.

The air-conditioning only went down to 70°. So if you sleep hot or have hot flashes at night, you will not sleep comfortably! The front desk staff didn't know which icemakers were working. It's a big property so you had to go around and find the working icemakers. There was a big pool area, but not that many chairs to sit in around the pool. I took a shower and when I went to grab my towel off the tile rack, it fell off the wall, causing a loud, startling sound that scared our dogs and woke up my sister. Finally, I was told the parking fee would be put on my registered credit card, but when I went to check out, there was a ticket on my car that said I hadn't registered my car. When I called the front desk, she told me I had to come to the front desk to deal with it. I told her I did not have time and I wasn't going to pay twice for parking. Then she finally looked up my account and said I had already paid the parking. When I asked why I got this notice on my car, she didn't have an explanation and she told me I should not yell at her. I was not yelling! I might have sounded exasperated because I was. She did not admit to any of the problems I had or apologize or try to talk to me in a civil manner about anything.

Over priced and if you extend another day still charging a new -they never give me the refund back then charging more not book anymore not worthied

T he hotel was a great place for our final rest stop near the airport
- 5/5
We stayed overnight as we had an early flight. It was a beautiful suite with a separate bedroom. I enjoyed a dip in the pool as the temperature was high. The vegetation is beautiful and the birds in abundance as you can hear them chirping around the pool. Shuttle was on time and service excellent. The only thing that surprised me was the restaurant attached to the hotel. We walked in and there wasn't an employee in sight. Finally there appeared to be one bar man who was the only server. We waited a while but realized it could take a long time to be served since there were a number of clients so we left. It wasn't a good reference for a Holiday Inn and the restaurant wasn't very clean.

Loved the courtyard and hot tub. Bonus is restaurant on site. Great burgers

I really enjoyed my stay, from the moment I pulled up to the property, the courtyard to the room. The staffs were great and helpful.
- 4/5
Beds were very comfortable and I got a great nights sleep. A/C worked well and rooms were nicely appointed. A few more USB and USB-C plug-ins for charging would be nice but I carry my own so no big deal. All in all, a nice stay but they need some maintenance on the property. And $80 for breakfast for a family of four would be alot (I was solo). However, I would stay here again.
- 2/5
The room had burn spots in the rug the sink wasn’t clean the entire room was dusty and the balcony sliding door was not stable . At night there are working girls and pimps i got whistled at and my mom got followed by a different guy . We drove in for a funeral never again

The landscaping. Was awesome beautiful.

My room was super hot and smelled like wet carpet

I’ll start from the moment we landed, I called front desk for shuttle information and the lady at the front could not give me clear direction on where to go. Lucky I had other shuttle buses from other hotels give me direction. When I arrived, the bathroom floor was dirty, I didn’t want to call the front desk because I didn’t want to deal with the same girl over the phone. Shortly after that, the toilet was not flushing properly, the SAME girl told me that maintenance was coming up to check it out. We waited 2 hours and finally decided to go out to eat. When we came back 4 hours later, the toilet hadn’t been fixed. Maintenance finally came up and “fixed it”. On our last day the AC wasn’t working and the room was at 83F, maintenance came up and couldn’t fix it. Nothing was solved for us that morning. We were checking out that morning so we pulled through for 4 more hours. I am NEVER coming back to this place, and I DEFINITELY DO NOT RECOMMEND.
- 5/5
Staff every nice and everything was every clean

Great staff , clean and fresh room. The ice machines on 3 and 4th floor not working , but the pool and hot tub made up for it.

The property was tired, it is run down. Numerous things broken for example my deck sliding glass door latch, elevator, two of three treadmills. It needs work
- 4/5
It wasn’t the fanciest place nor was it the worst place but I’d stay there again in a second. Huge rooms and a restaurant downstairs that I can honestly say had the best chicken sandwich I ever had. The restaurant isn’t fancy but the food was hella good.

The hotel staff were all so friendly. The beds weee really comfy. The breakfast food had limited options and drinks. The elevator was broken so we had to walk to the other side of the property to use a different one.

The reception we received at check in was disappointing. Not only did we have to wait but the person waiting on us was not friendly and did not adequately explain additional charges, such as, parking fee of $15.00 per night and a fee of $250.00 per room for security. The Expedia website and the Holiday Inn website did not mention the additional fees. Further, the Holiday Inn website, for this location, indicated the parking is free for registered guests. Therefore, I'm requesting a refund of the parking charge of $30.00 for our two-night stay to the credit card used at check in.

The location to the airport. The ice machine was out of order, the treadmills (2 of 3) were out of order, the door didn't line up with the doorframe (it let light in on the bottom of the door, the signs to get to the gym were horribly misleading, the key cards were super easy to de-magnetize, the door to the bathroom didn't lock, they sent a text message asking if we needed anything and when I responded, they didn't say anything, and so many other things. Just check Google and you'll see that you should avoid this place.

Nice prpoerty, however $250 deposit was a shock. All other Hilton properties I have put down a deposit waaay lower then that. Receive txt messages about stay/checking out,and when reply, there is no responses back. Also parking is a seperate process and payment.would not reccomend

While the room was clean it was a little worse for wear. My biggest issue that I didn't realize when booking, was the room doors are to the outside and are all glass. From a safety standpoint it made me uncomfortable, even though they face inside to the pool area and courtyard. I believe the inside courtyard is not accessible without a key to the gates, but it still made me uncomfortable. They also charge $15 for parking. I won't be staying at this location in the future for these reasons.

Clean room hotel is a bit dated but very clean and large rooms. Close to airport with airport shuttle!

The room is big enough for my family of 4 I booked this hotel under my name for a family trip, and my wife and kids arrived about an hour before me due to our travel schedule. Even though she provided my full name, my ID, the booking reference, and the exact credit card used for the reservation, the front desk still refused to check them in. This was at 11 PM, after they had just gotten off a five‑hour flight, exhausted, hungry, and traveling with kids. Instead of showing any flexibility or basic hospitality, the staff forced them to sit in the lobby and wait for my arrival. ************************UPDATES****************************** The $500 plus tax they witheld was claimed to be a smoking violation fee. Both my wife and I are life-long non-smokers and they did this without any prior communication or physical evidence. The "Evidence" is Scientifically Impossible: The hotel provided a sensor report showing a PM 2.5 of 393.1 and an AQI of 429 at 09:58 AM—exactly when we were packing for checkout with our children. According to EPA standards, an AQI of 429 is "Hazardous," equivalent to being in the middle of a forest fire. If this data were real, the building's fire alarm would have been triggered. No fire alarm went off because the sensor was clearly malfunctioning. A Deliberate Setup for Guests: The General Manager, Danielle Sonn, claimed she could not reach us on Booking.com platform right after checkout (which is a lie) and admitted that their "REST" sensor system is intentionally configured to only send reports at 9 AM and 11 PM, rather than in real-time. This is a massive red flag. The hotel could easily send staff to verify a room immediately if smoke is truly detected, but they choose not to. Instead, they wait until you have left the premises and no physical evidence remains, leaving you with zero way to defend yourself. If you are a non-smoker, you are not safe here.

Where do I start? Worst Holiday Inn I've ever stayed at! Out of service elevator! Had to walk 1/2 way across property to use a working elevator! 4 mi. from the airport and still a $15 parking fee with service charge on top of that! Sketchy neighborhood!
- 5/5
Staff was very helpful, allowed an early check in. Clean, comfortable and quiet rooms. Great location, close to airport also. Loved the pool area. Only complaint was the $18.99 continental breakfast that is usually complimentary.
- 4/5
Rooms were big. When booking my stay, it stated that there was a free continental breakfast provided. Wrong!! I was told it would be $18.00 per person. Ad needs to be changed They had a hard time finding my reservation. After 4 hang ups from them, we got through the front desk. The reason they couldn't find me was the booking was listed as Sherwood Barbara instead of Barbara Sherwood. If miscommunication between Booking.com and Holiday Inn Express, I will think twice about using either service.

The rooms were old but clean, the air did not work , the pool pump went out and it looked bad, you had to pay for parking, and extra for breakfast, the staff checking in was average , when I called about the air conditioning and the fridge broke down the front desk hung up on me 4 times and was on hold the first call for 20 minutes, they were either under staffed or didn’t want to hear any negativity, I would stay again if some things were fixed

This property was outdated and needs a lot of love. It does not look like the photos. The pool had debris in it everyday. I saw staff leaf blowing around the pool but never skimming it. The bathroom shower has been chalked so many times and had mold in the shower, ceiling, and on the shower floor. The piping for the shower was losing and no longer adhered to the wall. The shower head needed to be descaled. The hotel door had a one inch gap at the bottom that we filled with a towel while in the room. You could see light through when the door was closed. The breakfast was served in an old restaurant on the property. It was an average hotel breakfast. The AC ran efficiently. The staff were friendly. The had a free shuttle to the airport. This property is budget friendly. You get what you paid for. I would rate this a 2 star.
- 4/5
Clean room and very nice hotel! We didn’t have the breakfast.
- 5/5
Clean
- 3/5
Hotel room itself was spacious, I really love that it had AC not just a portable room air conditioning set up. The room definitely needed to be more cleaned throughly, it felt musty and overall the carpet and walls seemed nasty. The $15 fee for parking sucked and there was no breakfast included for the high price we paid during the stay. Overall I would not stay at this hotel. Do not recommend unless it was less than $100 a night then the price would justify it.
- 0.5/5
Nothing about this place. I would rate it a zero if I could. This place is horrible. Everything. DO NOT stay here. This company is false advertising their facility and amenities. The photos shown are NOT an accurate reflection of the real property. This place is in the ghetto, has jail like gates, feral cats roaming near the hotel. I felt like I was in the projects. The elevator didn't work. Severely neglected property. The room has no useful utensils although it had a small kitchenette. The bathroom seemed to have mold. We were next to a giant air conditioning system. I felt uncomfortable just being in the room. I wasn't going to be able to sleep at night so we just went to another hotel even though we had already paid for the room. Never trusting this company again.
- 4.5/5
The bathroom was small in comparison to the rest of the room. Minor thing though
- 1/5
Room was not restocked, was barely clean, and there was some type of foundation leak in our room; we were not given a new room in a timely manner, nor were we compensated for the mess or inconvenience. 0/10 recommend.
- 0.5/5
Good location Spent over $300 for a room without working air. Tried to get the manager to contact me and was ignored. Shower leaked everywhere making it where we had to share a towel and use the rest to not flood the bathroom. Absolutely unacceptable.
- 4.5/5
The vent in the hotel restroom was making to much noise like cricket sound and the air conditioner was making squeaking noises too. The hot tub by the pool had debris in it and looked dirty the water was brownish color.

- 3/5
The pool was nice, but breakfast was too expensive and the room was a little outdated.

Booked a room with a patio and had to move rooms after first room did not have outdoor access. Second room had a small space that was not even big enough for a chair

Within our room- we had a room that was supposedly for up to 4 people. It had a separate bedroom in the back with two queen beds. That was was fine. But the front area with the pull out couch was awful. The mattress of the pull out was atrocious. I am not exaggerating, it was the worst! We did our best to use the couch cushions on top of the mattress, but it was so incredibly bad. The hotel room was very outdated as well. I feel that the listing online does not represent this hotel well at all. We paid over $550 CDN for one night. I would not have paid more than $200 CDN in knowing what I know now.
- 2/5
We arrived early on our flight so we paid extra for early check in. Upon first glance was okay but when we went to pull the couch bed out that night there was dirty sheets and someone else clothes in the bed still.. Not to mention the mattress on the bed was completely destroyed. I slept on the actual couch that night. They switched us rooms in the morning. It didn’t have dirty bedding but again the mattress was destroyed. I asked for extra blankets and mattress pads to make it okay for our son to sleep on. There was a giant wad of boogers on the wall. I cleaned the room. The hotel offered us free breakfast for our trouble and told us to take it up with Hotels.com. The last night we were their our room filled with weed smell and they didn’t seem to care much just said they would look into it. Overall it was expensive for what we ended up with and truly the worst part of our vacation.

Yari was amazing Supervisor. Will come back definitely just because of her
- 5/5
Conveniently located to the airport and many other things. Rooms were clean, could use a touch of updating in my opinion, but they were clean. Friendly staff, beautiful views of the area, and the courtyard with pool and lounging areas outside were really nice.
- 3/5
The room was clean. But the grounds were not in the condition shown in hotel pictures on website. We thought we were getting a great value for our money looking at the website pictures but found was this was not the case once arrived at the property. The desk staff were not very welcoming, but the housekeeping staff checked on our needs a few times during the day as we did not need daily room service. thankfully, the pool was clean, but one day the pool staff put chemicals in the pool water at about 11 o’clock in the morning. Sadly, the kids dominated the hot tub most of the day so I’m not sure I would want to get in the hot tub later in the day. loved the greenery throughout the courtyard and the constant singing of birds covering the airport and road traffic noise. Hotel was relatively quiet.
- 1/5
Our room key had to be replaced every day. Fire in laundry room second nite leaving us to evacuate. The next night alarm went off but no fire. We still had to evacuate. Fourth nite there was a water leak that left our bathroom and bedroom flooded. The ice machine was broken. The restaurant ran out of salads when we were there. All in all, the worst place we have ever stayed. The only reason we didn’t check out the first day was because we prepaid for the room.
- 1.5/5
Rude people at front desk. I have to look at my invoice I think I was doubled charded.. Not sure
- 4/5
Overall nice property. Mini fridge in room wouldn’t close completely and light in shower wasn’t functioning either.
- 1/5
Horribly unprofessional staff. Gossiping about guests in front of them. Tried to be intimidating during check-in. Confronted them about their behavior and they pretended and lied about not knowing anything.
- 3/5
Not in the best neighborhood. Had gates with key access to get into the elevators and rooms. Once inside the room, it was large and nicely decorated and the bed was comfortable.
- 3/5
Laundry machines were a joke. Too many people smoking on the property so I couldn’t open my balcony.
- 1/5
In addition, several facility problems made our stay more difficult than expected. For example, the elevator is out of service, the toilet in our room is constantly running, there is a loud condenser banging noise throughout the night, and the ice machine near our room is not functioning. These issues, combined with the bad condition of the room, created an experience that fell well below what we would expect from the Holiday Inn brand. Given these circumstances, we would appreciate management reviewing this matter and advising what steps can be taken to address our concerns. Thank you for your time and attention. We look forward to hearing from you soon. Sincerely, Gerardo Maldonado

This hotel is horrible! We named it the house of horrors. It’s filthy! The rooms haven’t been touched since the 70’s. The sink didn’t work. We had no hot water. We booked a two queen room and got a king for 3 people. The pull out is disgusting! The blankets have holes in them. Housekeeping never came so for two days three people had to share two towels. The restaurant was so short staffed we couldn’t even order food. Had to go somewhere else. It’s awful! Stay somewhere else!

Room was listed as a Suite: bathroom was VeryVery small couldn’t even turn around in a complete circle in there so forget about getting drying off in the restroom. Towels were stained and looked dirty. The room was very bad out dated. The so-called balcony that you get with the room the door wouldn’t even properly open so we couldn’t even get some fresh air like we wanted especially in the mornings. The balcony area was very small looks like you couldn’t even get a chair out there to fit and enjoy some coffee if you wanted to. The coffee maker was filthy and had stagnant water sitting in there when we arrived. DEFINITELY NOT WORTH THE TIME AND MONEY TO HAVE YOUR FAMILY STAY HERE PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! The walls are very thin so you can hear others in the room next to you. Honeless people walking around throughout the night/day. Looks like people actual live there and call this their home. Staff was good but the amenities and the room was very unacceptable.

The staff was okay, but the room condition was terrible. There were spiderwebs, stains on surfaces, and a strong unpleasant smell. Cleanliness is the most important thing in a hotel, and this place failed badly. Needs serious improvement.

We had quite the adventure on our way to pheonix. Traveled through a knarly snow storm we called the previous hotel we booked and let them know we would be extremely late and were told it would be no issue just call when you arrive and we will get you checked in no problem. Well we arrived at about 5 am to be told we missed the checkin time even though we called multiple times about our eta through the snow storm. We didnt have anywhere to go.. we found this hotel the holiday inn and suites walked in and right away we were greeted with a staff member Yari. She was fantastic! We were abled to book a room, and get checked in early which was great. The room was bigger than expected, clean, and everything we needed for the weekend. Yari went above and beyond for my family. THANK YOU!!

You have to pay for parking but after driving the parking lot for 2 hours couldn't find a place to park. Staff told me it's first come first serve if you paid for parking and don't get a place to park it's oh well. Breakfast was advertised as coming with the stay but it's 16.95 per person. Staff was rude to me when I explained why would I pay for parking and not have anywhere to park. They didn't even apologize or do anything to accommodate the situation. Horrible

It smelled bad. The carpet was moist. The AC was loud. It was extremely noisy. The restaurant only breakfast option was the buffet. Not good.

I was charged for 2 breakfasts even though kids are free (Expedia did not have an option for only 1, don’t know under 12 was free) had to pay $12.50 just to park my car!! Crappy parking lot, parked a long way away. Had a cockroach in the bathtub. No I’m not making any of this up. I’m going to have to stop using Wxpedia because even though I’m a rewards member at this hotel chain they don’t care and give you the crappiest room if you book ‘third party’.

It was a very uncomfortable and unpleasant experience, to say the least. I have stayed at Holiday Inns for years now as a federal contractor, but while the front desk staff were courteous, the hotel room stay itself was not good. I was very disappointed in the whole situation I will not use this facility again.
- 4/5
Great pet friendly hotel for the cost. However, the room was dated and dingy. Dark paint on the walls, dark carpet which made it feel glum and dirty. Our bathtub was disgusting, cracked and stained plastic that I can't imagine wasn't leaking onto the slab.

Rooms need a refresh. Dark carpet and drapes smell of mildew. No sheets on the sleeper sofa. The property is beautiful - park-like. Front desk staff are kind. Door keys never worked beyond a day (on a 3 day stay). Shuttle service is great.

Staff were extremely friendly and helpful, our room was clean and tidy. The only downside was paying $12 for parking onsite.

There was a scorpion in our room, the bathroom taps didn’t work, stain and rip on our sheets, and the pool was quite dirty. The staff was very nice though

Stayed over for one night. The room was clean and spacious. The staff was really good and it was very easy to get to the airport for an early flight.

What really earned the rating was when we received a call from the front desk about smoke sensors going off in our room. Not your regular smoke alarms but another system that detects cig/vapes/marijuana that is unseen by guests.

The room had a small fridge, microwave, and sink. Due to diet restrictions, I had to prepare/eat everything in the room. There were no dishes, silverware, paper towels, etc. I had to go to Walmart to buy a microwaveable cup and paper towels. The 2-star rating is due to my appreciation for the motel's layout. When my husband is in class at Mayo Clinic, I can walk the stairs and stroll around the beautiful courtyard and feel safe. Now I need to decide if the added cost of parking and buying kitchen supplies is worth getting a courtyard to exercise in. I will definitely look for other options during the next trip.
- 2/5
Very underwhelming and outdated
- 5/5
I arrived in Phoenix Arizona after 28 hours of driving at 2am from Northern California. The Hotel that I booked was dirty, disgusting, and I could not stay there. Holiday Inn was one of the only places that would accommodate me as the timing was already booking for the next day and I could not check in till 3 pm that day. I was able to pay for early check in and I am grateful to get a room and go to bed.
- 4/5
was able to get a late checkout of 1:00 which was really appreciated One down side, we found no information in room about the hotel or local area details, like restaurants & such. There is a adjoining restaurant, which I think gave room service but there was no info on it, maybe they have something at the front desk
- 1/5
I would not recommend this facility. I have been using hotels.com for many years and usually find the lodging information correct. However when we booked this facility we were charged a parking fee of $75, which we paid. Upon checking in we were instructed to the parking fee required on site of $13. Either the hotels.com page has to be updated or avoid this facility unless you want to pay $90 for parking - which is higher than most 5-star resorts in Las Vegas. Definite pass.
- 2/5
I called for two days trying to get my TV in the main room to work, but no one ever showed up. The staff said they had no idea which handyman was working. They called different numbers but said they couldn't reach anyone. I received a credit of $50. That was a joke and unacceptable.

Great stay, the front desk manager was very friendly and provided excellent customer service. Breakfast was a but pricey but definitely include it when booking and kids eat free. It was nice enough. The towels were a bit scratchy, and the side gates were all down. We could get out easy enough but had to walk all around to the front desk then back across the whole complex to get back. Staff was super friendly and helpful, 5 star service. The place was about what I expected from a cheap last minute booking near the airport. I can say with certainty i would not have stayed at original price. Only the last minute discount made it even worth it.

250.00 dollar deposit for incidental fee is rediculous. Supposedly your supposed to get it back after Checking out but it's now been a week and I'm having to file a dispute claim with my bank since the hotel still hasn't released the funds. Do not stay here.

After charging my card for $250 deposit- they then charged me an additional $561.23 for a SMOKING fee after I checked out. I am a lifelong NON-SMOKER, and visibly pregnant. This is unethical, unprofessional and has happened to multiple people per their reviews. Corporate IHG has escalated the case, and property still refuses to refund.

Everything was okay, not memorable. The waiter who served us and our friends at the restaurant was friendly and nice. The airport shuttle was on time.
- 2/5
Hotel assessed two charges for $561 each for smoking in the room. Both via a sensor that went off at 8:35am when I was drying my hair. WE DO NOT SMOKE! Hotel GM stood firm that smoking occurred in our room because the sensor said so, and was not willing to hear our side. I am escalating this with our credit card company and will seek further legal advisement to get our $1122 in fees returned. This seems like a total scam.

But the shuttle ride over here was terrible! No a/c & it was over 100 outside. It must have been at least 110 inside. I can’t fathom how this can possibly happen in this climate. I’ll probably take an uber back to airport tomorrow.
- 2/5
When we got in the room the drains were shut. When we opened them to use the sink a cockroach came out. Very old rooms. Some how we got the best room with penisman views spay painted across the street. People that stay there are mostly on construction work or business travel. Not a family hotel. Also not in the best neighborhood. I wouldn't stay here again.

So we drive to back @ we’re required to use our room key to get into gate to enter property. Our key wouldn’t open gate. Ugh. Frustrating but crap happens so drive back to front desk. Get another key. Drive back to back of property (with the heat, it was way too far to walk). New key still not working. Go to front desk again; new key. Go back to gate, 3rd key still not working. This time I call the front desk. I was thinking I’ll just have then come to me because clearly something is wrong with door. They state they’re not coming; if I insist, it’s going to be a while. So I drive back again. They ask me “is it working on room door?” I explain that I have no idea as I have yet to be able to get to my room. The guy behind counter then goes to explain that I have to carry the key away from my phone or anything with a magnet because it will erase card. Mind you, this is not the first time I’ve used a key card…. They’re relatively common. So we try again. Still not working. Now I’m pissed. I’m hot, tired, & hungry & I just want to get to my room. It was 98 degrees. I realize that for Phoenix, that’s probably not that hot. But we were hot. Very hot. This time when I go to front desk, I was clearly angry. They made no attempt to be helpful instead telling me that no one else is having a problem… it must be me. I found that to be unacceptable.

Well maintained, clean, lots of space. Sitting room with couch and TV were perfect.

Great room, easy shuttle service

The room we were initially given had broken tv’s and we didn’t find out until after unpacking. We called the front desk and they attempted to fix the issue but then we were given another room. I was also surprised that we had to pay for parking each day of our stay. I didn’t see that on the reservation site.

Prepare for paid parking, $14. For IHG, This place is awful. The pictures are deceiving. The carpet is absolutely disgusting. The room stinks like smoke and mold. IA lot of homeless and transients in the area. Really sketchy. The photos on google and the IHG app are deceiving. This is a 1 out of 5. Don’t believe the fake reviews out there giving it five stars. The rooms are not worth the price. Stay elsewhere for the same amount of money. Burger theory. Very meh! Another persons burger wasn’t fully cooked. He walked out. I had a very below average burger. Avoid this whole property entirely.

I loved the property and the service was great. I wish there was more dining options.

We really enjoyed our stay!!

Need to make sure rooms are clean found trash under the bed when checking in. And didn’t like that you can hear boilers when showering.

Great customer service.

I was taken to the wrong hotel by the shuttle driver from the airport. It took 2.5 hours to finally get me to the correct hotel! Upon arrival I was told that the holding fee was $250 even though I called beforehand and was told $50. My room was supposed to have a full size refrigerator, stove top, and microwave and dining room table. I had a mini fridge and mini microwave. When I asked why I didn’t receive what I paid for I was told that I needed to pay more money for an upgrade! The lamps in the room didn’t work either. When I asked to make a complaint. Taro told me to go look online for the number because she was on her lunch break answering the phone! The operations manager called and basically did nothing! This place lacks professionalism and customer service! Think twice before purchasing a room here!

Hotel outdated. First room was hot and insects were in room. However, immediately reported the problem to the front desk and the front desk staff were extremely helpful. Move us to another room and apologized for the inconvenience. Thank you front desk staff.

Power was out when we arrived so we were not able to check in right away. But the staff was so friendly and txt us when the room was available to be checked in. The pool is great and the room was clean. Very happy, thank you!

Liked that it had a lot of things to do close by.

The front desk gave someone else the key to our room. My wife was taking a nap while we were at the pool. After we decided that we were going to check into another hotel. They refused to work with Expedia to issue a refund as they said they would. Don’t stay here

Also, be aware that there is a $20 parking fee per night. For some reason this fee must be paid to a third party and requires setting up an account on your cellphone and scanning a QR code. You CANNOT pay the parking fees directly to Holiday Inn. No smart phone? No parking. Don't want to set up an account and provide your personal license plate and credit card information to some unknown 3rd party app? No parking. I'm not familiar with the random company that's collecting these fees or why they are collecting the fees. The whole setup is not mentioned anywhere online or on any official Holiday Inn literature. For all I know, this could be an illegitimate money making racket the manager or receptionist is running on the side. If Holiday Inn expects their clientele to pay parking fees to some random 3rd party company, they need to make that explicitly clear during the booking process. Not after arrival and during check-in. For what it's worth, this isn't even in a part of the city where parking is an issue. There are multiple shopping centers and strip malls directly boarding the hotel with open and free parking lots.

Excellent just an extra $250 deposit we did it expect
- 4/5
It was a good stay, but they did extra charge for parking lot.
- 5/5
Very nice and clean safe place
- 5/5
Excellent service
- 3/5
The hotel is kind of run down and needs a refresh. We loved the pool area and the set up. The restaurant nor the staff at the hotel bothered telling us that kids ate for free if we stayed on property so we ended up paying for all of the kids meals.

Was great all around

Great value for a nice place!

Let me say for the price you can’t find a better room. The room was very spacious much like the Embassy by Hilton. Very clean, you can tell the staff takes pride in their service and professionalism. Here’s where I had a problem the a/c system was not working right and we’re in Phoenix! The front desk did allow me to check other rooms but it was the same situation. Other guest had the same complaint. When talking to one of the other guest he informed me that it was an ongoing issue. To add to the heat the fire alarm went off in the entire hotel waking the guest. Parking is not free, you have to pay $12 per night to a third party company via QR Code. I really like the location near some decent food spots, but the a/c has to be corrected.

The rooms A/Cs wernt working properly and was switched rooms. The second room wasn’t much better There was as well a 250 deposit/hold which is a bit high for a 1 night stay. Overall location was pretty good and big pool area.

Hair all over the walls of the shower Never again will I stay there
- 5/5
It was nice and very clean.
- 5/5
The only thing I didn’t like was that you had to pay to park. Other than that the room was amazing. We had been in 11 facilities over the past 12 days and they were all nice and price was the same. I’m glad we stayed here last or we would have been disappointed the remainder of the trip. Don’t ever hesitate to book here.

However, the pictures online for this property are not accurate. Our room was very outdated, dark, and old. It had a damp smell and the sink faucets barely turned on and off with ease. There was not a full size fridge or a burner. The couch in our livingroom made us question whether or not we should sit on it before covering it first. The fire pit area shown doesn't even have couches, just a couple of chairs and benches. Lastly, breakfast was included in our stay and the attached restaurant looks current and nice...however, take your expectations and subtract 100 points. The breakfast tables were not clean, almost every saucer and cup at our table was dirty. The oatmeal had a crust on it, like it had sat all night from the day before. The brown sugar was hard. There were choices of eggs that looked good, but they were cold. The bowls for cereal and oatmeal were so small you would have to fill it 5 times to make a decent bowl. We thought they were coffee cups. The worst part is that they were charging people $16.95 if they did not have it as a part of their stay. Highway robbery.

There were different prices for breakfast (cheapest with reservation, $10 per person at front desk, $15 if at the restaurant.)Similar to the free breakfast many hotels have. And there was no local shuttle. But parking was much cheaper than other nearby hotels.

Very beautiful, clean and safe place to stay!! My family and I enjoyed our stay.

Amazing hotel!
- 3/5
Stayed for one short night on a layover. Hotel front desk was not very cordial and seemed put off trying to help us at 1:00 am
- 5/5
Been staying at this location every single time I go up to Phoenix for about a year. Love it
- 5/5
They have great customer service. The beds are super comfortable. The hideaway bed was missing sheets, but they brought them right away. There are a lot of restaurants, some grocery stores and retail stores closed by. I didn't read, but you have to pay parking even if you are a guest.
- 2/5
Pictures definitely made it look way nicer. The pool was very dirty, there was a lot of trash on the bottom. The room itself was not clean. When asking for sheets and more towels they never brought them to us.
